Banketbakkerij Burgt in Centrum

I bought a pack of cookies (Gooise Moppen) here for my grandmother; we both agreed that these were very mediocre, tasteless cookies. Edible, but nothing more than that. You expect more refined quality from a bakery. The proportions of the ingredients seemed almost off. Possibly other products of theirs are of better quality, otherwise the high average rating is absolutely inexplicable to me.

Unfortunately, there is no patisserie quality at Burgt. I bought a few pastries today, but they lacked flavor. The whipped cream on top was certainly not fresh, judging by the texture and taste. I saw a few moorkoppen where the chocolate was completely soggy. Good patisserie makes your mouth water, and that is not the case here. It is more like a bread baker's pastry that also sells confectionery. The true finesse is missing.

I would gladly give Banketbakkerij Burgt 5 stars, as the potential is certainly there. To start with the positives: the staff is friendly and attentive, and the quality of the pastries ranges from good to (e.g., in the case of the tompoezen) fantastic. What is not going well is the hand hygiene. The staff simply handles pastries with their hands—the same hand used to operate the cash register and card machine. You wonder what you are sinking your teeth into. Given the prices charged here, you expect perfection, and that is not achieved here. Using tongs or a cake server would be a step in the right direction.

I have never eaten such a disgusting tompouce; the cream had a weird, sour taste.

Love having a hot chocolate, made with real chocolate duds that just melt away....including all your worries...Its always so cosy here and you can get yourself or friends some really great treats. They have amazing cakes and beautiful chocolate art...

If I could give this wonderful pastry shop 10 stars, I would. Since we moved to Hilversum in 2008, I've been coming here with great pleasure. It's a joy to browse the delicious cakes and pastries, and I always struggle to choose between all the goodies. The quality is consistently high, and the service is incredibly friendly and customer-focused, whether you're making a large or small purchase! The Christmas wreath I recently bought was delicious down to the last bite! You can really taste the excellent quality of the ingredients used. Thank you very much, and I hope to see you again soon!

I've asked/asked countless times if they shouldn't include napkins with a warm cheese and onion sandwich. Yesterday it was €4.75 for a sandwich again. I could take two bites and throw it away. I want a new sandwich because I don't plan on throwing my money away every time.

Inexperienced and forgetful service

We have been coming to this pastry chef in Hilversum for more than 25 years. He is characterized by consistent quality and a wide range of pastries. Every season has its own pastry and Our daughter, who was a little girl when we came to live in Hilversum, absolutely wanted a wedding cake made by this pastry chef (Luc). Although she has tested several pastry chefs in Amsterdam and Nijmegen. Wedding cake was delivered on location and was a resounding success. Years later, guests are still talking about the cake. We live not far from this location in Hilversum and it is always difficult not to go in when you cycle past and you always leave with more than you intended...highly recommended.

After a long season of trying almost all their cakes, all of them taste excessively of sugar and cinnamon! I know this country is crazy about cinnamon, but there are specific pastries for that, why add it to everything? Surprisingly, they charge whatever they want. Last week, I paid €2 for a product, but this week the owner, watching nearby, charged me €3.95 without explanation. When I questioned it, he didn’t care, revealing his poor management style.

The cakes at this bakery are excessively sweet, overpowering any subtle flavors and resulting in a lack of variety in taste. Also, there seems to be an overuse of cinnamon, making most of the cakes taste similar.

The €19 Christmas loaf was slightly tastier than the €4 loaf from the supermarket, but the €15 price difference is really absurd.

Beautiful and tasty bakery in Hilversum

I'm so disappointed. You expect traditional pastries, but when you look at the ingredients you see so many additives, preservatives and colorings. I wanted to get gingerbread nuts today because they all contain palm oil in the supermarket, but here too...

Always successful! Friendly service, nice insight into the bakery and when the sausage rolls just come out of the oven... :) then you leave with more than expected.

My mother always gets some pastries and filled cakes here when she visits me - in The Hague. The filled cookies? I almost don't dare say how delicious they are, otherwise my mother will miss it when she comes to visit me! TOO GOOD…

Vandaag bijzonder fijn geholpen. Ik heb vanuit Heemskerk mijn jarige man kunnen verrassen met gebak en lunch op zijn werk. Top gedaan!!!

Zulke lekkere taarten maken ze. Het chocolade taartje is mijn favoriet. Een heuse smaak explosie! Zeer machtig dus na een paar happen zit ik echt vol maar hij is zooo prachtig dat je er uren naar kunt kijken ;) Handig ook dat ze kleine taartjes verkopen voor als iedereen iets anders wilt. Voor ons een blijvertje!

Большой выбор, торты качественные, из хороших ингредиентов. Настроженно относятся к русскоязычным, деньги, даже 20 евро, будут проверять на вкус, цвет и запах :) Но мы не в обиде, им тоже нужно выживать:) В целом - рекомендую, для особых случаев всегда покупаем у них, все счастливы и здоровы.

Heerlijkste gebak uit eigen bakkerij.

Lekkage voor de deur op zondag Eigenaar bood ons koffie aan met koek. Supper vriendelijk in deze kou

Ik vind dat je heel fijn geholpen wordt. Voelt een beetje als iets van heel vroeger (voor mijn tijd) hoe vriendelijk je geholpen wordt en hoe verzorgd alles is. En het gebak, croissants en saucijzenbroodjes zijn heerlijk. Ben nu 2 keer geweest en kan het iedereen aanraden.

Een winkel vol met mooie en vooral heel erg lekkere banket. Gebak, "koek" chocolade en marsepein, allemaal verrukkelijk. De banket/amandelstaven en letters zijn van Burgt het allerlekkerste.

Is in het gooi de allerbeste banket bakker, al jaren een constante kwaliteit! Vreselijk lekker gebak! De bediening is koninklijk, incl de deur open bij het verlaten van winkel. Excellent goed!

Altijd onze "go-to" als we allebei vrij zijn in het weekend. We komen hier al een paar jaar. In al die tijd hebben we nog nooit gebak gekocht wat niet lekker vers was. Héérlijk vers gebak😍😋🍰

Goede producten die er net zo lekker smaken als ze er uit zien. Niet goedkoop maar de prijs 100% waard. Liever soms iets echt lekkers dan vaak matige smaken. Verder zijn ze soepel met bezorgen.. Als ik 1 puntje moet noemen dan zijn het de bezorgkosten die vond ik vrij hoog.

De vereniging ATKV heeft 300 gevulde koeken met vignet besteld i.v.m. het 90 jarig bestaan. Tijdens de feestelijke 1e Pinksterdag van de vereniging gingen deze gevulde koeken er als "koek" in. Wij kunnen deze gevulde koeken zeker aanbevelen zeker aanbevelen.

Deze tompoucen nooit ergens anders zo edn lekkere gegeten.

Op Koningsdag ben ik bij mijn vrienden in Hilversum op bezoek geweest het was een heerlijke Koningsdag gebak. Het was super heerlijke oranje gebak. Banketbakkerij burgt top gedaan zeer tevreden met smaak.

Beste patisserie van Hilversum. Sla het niet over als je in de buurt bent, of rij gerust om. Dat is het alleszins waard. U zult er geen spijt van krijgen.

Wat is dit toch een geweldige banketbakker. Een geweldige keuze in de koeling. En alles ziet er prachtig en heerlijk uit. Taartjes en taarten, alles even lekker.
