The snacks are just discusting. We ordered calamaras and cheese sticks. It was uneatable.

I wanted to go out to listen to good music and guess what not only good music but amazing service and food. It is so nice to just enter a place and find a gem like this. I highly recommend it. Mark’s home smoked salmon is sensational. Do try it.

Located a stone's throw from our accommodation we stopped for a beer and a plate which was perfect and varied for 2 (olives, house smoked salmon, burrata with pesto, paté, guacamole). The place is warm, the team very friendly and the service impeccable. The terrace is heated if you wish to sit there. I recommend.

This bar is a real neighbourhood gem. So friendly and the food and drink is 10/10. Mark is an amazing host. You could want nothing more from this place.

Very cozy bistro and café. Super nice and good service. Nice atmosphere, casual and always a warm welcome from the owner. And last but not least, excellent food. Now a delicious sauerkraut dish with a tarte tatin with a light apple/cinnamon mousse for dessert.

We had a very nice evening and were able to have good conversations, which was possible due to the delicious food and the good atmosphere here.

Aangename verrassing. Leuke ongedwongen sfeer en eten voor hele schappelijke prijzen dat ook nog eens prima van smaak was. Kleine kaart maar dat komt de kwaliteit ten goede. Beetje mix van franse bistro en een buurthuis.

Great bar, with a cozy neighborhood feeling and a fantastic menu. Food is always carefully prepared, and the atmosphere is perfect for any situation— from having a drink after work or dinner with friends, to finding a corner to read surrounded by jolly locals and the friendly staff led by Mark. The smoked salmon is a must-have, it is smoked in-house!

Gisteravond bij Bar aan de Kade gegeten. Het brood vooraf en de gamba´s waren verrukkelijk en de bediening was professioneel en aardig. Hier kom ik zeker terug!

Ik wist niet dat je hier ook heerlijk kunt eten. Superngegeten vanavond. Heerlijke flamkuche met zalm vooraf en escargots. Als hoofd de gamba’s. Die zijn echt super! Dat doen we snel een keer over!

Zo’n heerlijk tentje in Oost/Watergraafsmeer!! Lekkere sfeer en verrassend goed en divers eten voor een bar. Is dus eigenlijk meer een bar-bistro met super lekkere - door Mark zelf - gerookte zalm. Ook perfecte plek om iets te vieren met een groep vrienden en familie.

Zo'n gouden pareltje dat je opeens zomaar vindt. Lekker eten, gezellige sfeer, goede bediening. Je ziet dat ze er hier zin in hebben! Ik raad iedereen aan hier een lekker hapje en drankje te doen. Toptent!

This place is such a hidden diamond!!! I am Dutch but for everyone to read ill put this out in English cause everyone needs to know how good the food is here!! Besides that de staff is so friendly!! The place is cosy and it really has character. Its also perfect for celebrating with a group. I’ll definitely consider celebrating my birthday here, love this place!!!

Heerlijk gegeten bij deze gastvrije leuke mensen!

Bar met Frans bistro georiënteerd menu, vlotte en vriendelijke service. Mooi terras en heerlijke hapjes 👌🏼

Mark de uitbater heeft echt van Bar aan de Kade een gezellige huiskamerbar gemaakt. Ik had er een verjaardagsborrel op zondagmiddag met goeie wijn en lekkere happen. En goed gezelschap ;-)

Allerlekkerste huisgerookte zalm en altijd gezellig

Heerlijk gegeten met mijn moeder en broertje. Personeel zeer attent. Leuke entourage, en een echte Nederlandse locatie: langs een fietsstraat!

Hier hebben we heerlijk geborreld en gegeten. De kaart vermeldt veel hapjes voor bij de borrel, m.n. de garnalenkroketjes zijn heerlijk. Ik had de rillettes van varken en eend met toast besteld en als hoofdgerecht de bavette. De rillettes waren zacht van smaak en smeuïg. De toast was helaas iets te hard gebakken. De bavette was heerlijk zacht en goed gebakken! De locatie van deze gelegenheid is prima. Er is genoeg te zien en je kunt gezellig buiten onder de parasol zitten! Kortom topper!!

Tof cafe/restaurant aan de rand van waar de watergraafsmeer over gaat in de stad - lekker sfeertje - koud glas rose aan mijn lip - verdomd ze hebben ook een menu - ober - schenk nog eens bij en kunnen er wat oesters naast - happy ik - wat ik lekker vind - de menukaart is klein maar fijn - maar groot genoeg om terug te komen

Zo’n relaxed tentje. Avondzon op t terras. Altijd gezellig eigenlijk: uiteindelijk beland ik altijd met allerlei mensen aan een tafel en delen we de rekening ❤️. De kaart is een vleugje Parijs met een vleugje Amsterdam. Love it.
