Best meat place in Amsterdam! The spare rib of veal is just insane. You can taste that it's marinated meat and not a simple glazing. The meat quality itself is amazing. And don't get me started about the staff. So nice to have friendly and smiley waitresses in such a touristic place. Very rare! Thank you bar B!

Great burgers! We tried the chicken and guacamole burger, which was delicious. The smash cheeseburger was disappointing; the bun was very mass-produced. The sweet potato fries and onion rings are definitely worth trying. They also have a great selection of local beers. For two people, including one beer, one burger, and one side each, our bill came to €50.

I was there with a large group, and they had burgers, teas, beers, and juices. The service was friendly. Four stars for the atmosphere, as it's not my cup of tea. I can't rate the food because I didn't eat any.

Bit slow to collect your order or even drinks but once order colllected ( 4 mins ) the Bacon Burger was cooked to perfection, chips were crispy and fluffy, onion rings were crunchy but could taste the onion! Perfect

I ordered a classic burger. Tast was good espesialy fried bacons in it which were crispy and not burned. Personeel were caring and polite. A burger and a bottle of water for 19 Euros. Acceptable in Amsterdam centrum. Living area which is nice to walk with a lot of shops and cafes and restaurents.

Whether you’re a local like us or a tourist stopping by, this was an amazing stop and we’ll sure be back.

I went around 1pm I got portobello mushrooms, the Bar B burger, and the loaded bacon fries. The food was very good, it’s definitely worth the stop if you have an opportunity. My server was super friendly.

Terrible experience. The waiter got our order wrong (very hasty). Since we're vegetarians, we ordered a vegan sandwich. We got a sandwich with meat and eggs. The owner tried everything he could to blame us, due to our less-than-perfect English. We repeatedly reiterated that we had indicated on the menu what we wanted, but there was no way. After about 20 minutes of insistence from the owner, we ordered the vegan version (an unsatisfactory sandwich), paying the same as a meat sandwich! Obviously, it's much more expensive! The waiter also got the portion of fries wrong in our order! Stay away from this place!

Great restaurant with very friendly staff and attentive service. You feel welcome and well taken care of from the moment you arrive. The burgers are truly outstanding – delicious, juicy, and of very high quality. They're definitely worth a visit. Unfortunately, the schnitzel didn't quite live up to our expectations. It was a chicken schnitzel (not veal), and it tasted as if it had been cooked in old oil or a heavily used pan. The breading was also very tough, which is not what we expect from a good schnitzel. The food prices are generally fair and reflect the quality of the ingredients. However, we found the drink prices rather high (€7 for a 0.4l soft drink is a bit much in our opinion). Nevertheless, the overall experience was a success. We would come back, but probably mainly for the burgers, which are absolutely delicious. The schnitzel didn't quite suit our taste, but the burgers more than made up for it.

We went for dinner last night. The place was really cool with a great atmosphere, the waiters were very friendly, and the service was very fast. We ordered some nachos, which were delicious, and a hamburger. The quality and price were unbeatable for Amsterdam. I highly recommend it.

Menu looked great to have dinner with friends (two of them vegan) but there was only one option. Which wasn’t as promised either since the buns were not vegan. So we had it wrapped in lettuce. Unfortunately one of us couldn’t eat anything from the menu because of the only option, due a intolerance. This was taken very lazy in communication, solution seeking energy was not present. Charged us intense for what we got in the end. Owner said nothing could be done differently and paid full price. An evening that was meant to celebrate the end of a wonderful weekend ended miserably in this restaurant. Not up for bad reviews and the energy this takes. But doing it for whatever helps with people to decide where to have a good evening/celebration. We have to travel far back home now as well - while still being hungry.

Because Bar-B Burgers 'N Beer is highly recommended! My husband and I had a wonderful meal and drinks at Bar-B Burgers 'N Beer. The location is, of course, fantastic. Near Leidseplein. The atmosphere is intimate, modern, and very cozy. The music was easy to hear, but not so loud that we couldn't hear each other. After drinks, we started with delicious prawns, chicken wings, and bread with herb butter. Then came our main courses: a delicious medium-rare steak with loaded fries, and I had the crispy smash burger with delicious sweet potato fries! Delicious! The portions are very generous. The service is incredibly friendly and helpful. Again: highly recommended! We'll be back.

Real bad service . The truffle mayo that it’s showing on the menu it’s a lied . Don’t fall for it . They don’t use truffle at all . They cheat on the ingredients and if you complain they literally don’t give a shit . Pay for something that you don’t get it . I don’t recommend this place !

Normally I don’t write bad reviews but this time we were unpleasantly surprised by this so called burger bar. The waiter dropped 2 glasses of beer over us we were soaked from the beer. This can happen and can be accepted. Then we ordered 3 medium rare steaks and we received 3 well done steaks. The waiter agreed that it was not prepared correctly but they cannot do anything. We were regular local customers till today. There are many good restaurants around in this area so if you don’t listen to your customers then you simply loose them. That’s a simple consequence in any business. Hope they will find better customers in their empty restaurant…
