Great restaurant with very friendly staff and attentive service. You feel welcome and well taken care of from the moment you arrive. The burgers are truly outstanding – delicious, juicy, and of very high quality. They're definitely worth a visit. Unfortunately, the schnitzel didn't quite live up to our expectations. It was a chicken schnitzel (not veal), and it tasted as if it had been cooked in old oil or a heavily used pan. The breading was also very tough, which is not what we expect from a good schnitzel. The food prices are generally fair and reflect the quality of the ingredients. However, we found the drink prices rather high (€7 for a 0.4l soft drink is a bit much in our opinion). Nevertheless, the overall experience was a success. We would come back, but probably mainly for the burgers, which are absolutely delicious. The schnitzel didn't quite suit our taste, but the burgers more than made up for it.

We went for dinner last night. The place was really cool with a great atmosphere, the waiters were very friendly, and the service was very fast. We ordered some nachos, which were delicious, and a hamburger. The quality and price were unbeatable for Amsterdam. I highly recommend it.

Choose from a variety of patties, buns, toppings, and sauces, all made fresh daily. Patties range from a standard 200g patty to a massive 2kg, offering both a satisfying bite and a satisfying visual experience. The combination of the juicy premium beef patty and the house-made sauce is unforgettable.

Menu looked great to have dinner with friends (two of them vegan) but there was only one option. Which wasn’t as promised either since the buns were not vegan. So we had it wrapped in lettuce. Unfortunately one of us couldn’t eat anything from the menu because of the only option, due a intolerance. This was taken very lazy in communication, solution seeking energy was not present. Charged us intense for what we got in the end. Owner said nothing could be done differently and paid full price. An evening that was meant to celebrate the end of a wonderful weekend ended miserably in this restaurant. Not up for bad reviews and the energy this takes. But doing it for whatever helps with people to decide where to have a good evening/celebration. We have to travel far back home now as well - while still being hungry.

Because Bar-B Burgers 'N Beer is highly recommended! My husband and I had a wonderful meal and drinks at Bar-B Burgers 'N Beer. The location is, of course, fantastic. Near Leidseplein. The atmosphere is intimate, modern, and very cozy. The music was easy to hear, but not so loud that we couldn't hear each other. After drinks, we started with delicious prawns, chicken wings, and bread with herb butter. Then came our main courses: a delicious medium-rare steak with loaded fries, and I had the crispy smash burger with delicious sweet potato fries! Delicious! The portions are very generous. The service is incredibly friendly and helpful. Again: highly recommended! We'll be back.

The waiter forgot half of our order, so we received only the burgers without the appetizers and without our side dishes. Then instead of taking responsibility he just said “if you still want it will take another 15-20 minutes"

Been so many times, went twice on the last visit to Amsterdam! Go! Its amazing food! Edited as went again, saw the owner again (Didn't recognise him, I blame my age) and once again, amazing burgers. Real bad service . The truffle mayo that it’s showing on the menu it’s a lied . Don’t fall for it . They don’t use truffle at all . They cheat on the ingredients and if you complain they literally don’t give a shit . Pay for something that you don’t get it . I don’t recommend this place !

We ordered a fresh ginger tea, two burgers, and a salad. There were dark hairs in the tea, the Halumni salad came without any sauce and was completely dry, and the second burger took a while to arrive. It wasn't so cool.

Normally I don’t write bad reviews but this time we were unpleasantly surprised by this so called burger bar. The waiter dropped 2 glasses of beer over us we were soaked from the beer. This can happen and can be accepted. Then we ordered 3 medium rare steaks and we received 3 well done steaks. The waiter agreed that it was not prepared correctly but they cannot do anything. We were regular local customers till today. There are many good restaurants around in this area so if you don’t listen to your customers then you simply loose them. That’s a simple consequence in any business. Hope they will find better customers in their empty restaurant…

Tenía algunas dudas después de buscar en Tripadvisor, pero debo decir que el servicio y la comida fueron excelentes. Todos comimos diferentes hamburguesas Smash y yo pedí las papas fritas básicas y todos dijeron que estaban excelentes. En realidad cuestionaron el monto de propina que les dejamos, pero les expliqué que valió cada centavo. Esto demuestra que cada uno tiene experiencias y estándares diferentes. I recently dined at Bar B in Amsterdam and had a wonderful experience. Alexandra took care of us and she was exceptionally professional, kind, and friendly. The service was flawless and the atmosphere was very pleasant. While the chef could have been a bit more friendly with customers and staff, overall I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would recommend Bar B to others looking for a nice dining experience in Amsterdam.

With the place empty, only 3 tables dining when it arrived, they take my order quickly, but it takes 50 minutes to serve. Very soggy burger and the carpaccio is a shame for the sauce they put on it that doesn't let you appreciate it. After eating this I had to ask that the fries for the hamburgers not even be brought and they wouldn't even charge for them. Very slow service. Burger, carpaccio and some cheese fingers with two beers €52 and 50 minutes to serve.

Sweet Jesus. These are some of the best burgers I have ever tasted in my life, and I am talking just the burger meat and how it was cooked. It was a beautiful, juicy, perfectly cooked, absolutely heavenly piece of meat. As a tourist I can’t compare much with other places in A’dam but this was by far the best I have ever had anywhere else in the world, and I include all the steak places I can think of just in terms of the way that burger was cooked. A carnivore’s dream.

Price quality very below par!!!! Spare ribs were very bad. Couldn't get through! When the waiter comes to ask if everything is to your liking and you indicate that the meat cannot be eaten because it is still half raw and has not come off the bone at all, you are told that this is how it should be. This can be renamed to Bill B Bar. Your bill will be itemized billing. You want a few fries that's extra €5, hot sauce is also extra. Service is okay and probably would also be an extra charge if you want good service. Atmosphere is closer to a club at 8pm than a restaurant/pub.

The music is horrible. If they changed it we could recommend it, as the food and service were good. But the music is too loud and like a bad nightclub. If they changed it I'm sure they'd see an increase in business.

Great burgers and top side dishes! The cocktails were also amazing. At the back there is a nice backroom that you wouldn't expect, so there is plenty of seating! Service was super friendly and fast. Would definitely go there again!
