This was a place I'd noted down before my trip to Amsterdam and wanted to visit. Seeing how close it was to our hotel, I decided to try it one evening, and we had an incredibly delicious hamburger. It was very successful; you should definitely try it.

Burger restaurant: the burgers are good and have interesting flavors. I think I remember them having some with a Japanese theme. They have good beers from the local Amsterdam brewery, Brouwerij 't IJ. The appetizers were decent. The waitress was very friendly.

We liked the beef, it was good.

The hamburger patty was very juicy, delicious, and the portion was generous. The fries were also very good. Those who know hamburgers will love this place.

We had two mokkum cheese burgers along with fries and cokes. Burger was tasty with additionals, it was yummy but also a bit juicy to eat :) Staff was very kind to us thanks goes out to them.

One of the best burger experiences in Amsterdam! The restaurant offers innovative, gourmet-style burgers in a cozy and comfortable setting. The meat is fresh and of premium quality, cooked to absolute perfection. I tried the classic burger, and it was bursting with rich flavors. The crispy, homemade fries with their special sauces are simply irresistible. Service is fast and the staff is extremely friendly. A special thanks to Mr. Nick, an incredibly talented and professional chef. His passion and attention to detail can truly be tasted in every bite. He made the experience even more memorable with his creativity and high standards in preparing the food. Definitely a place worth visiting and coming back to again and again!

The most disgusting burger I’ve ever had. Never go there. Everyone left their food on their plates. Don’t be fooled by the appearance.. run for your life. On top of that, they were incapable of bringing everyone’s food at the same time. Dont waste your time, money and energy

Oh boy, deliciously fantabulous ( fantastic fabulous) custom made burgers. You pic all your ingredients and sauces from a list and they turn it into a burger. Yum yum 😋 yum.

I couldn’t recommend this place more!!! The staff are always friendly, both at Jordaan and the one near Rembrandtplein. One of the waitresses already knows our order haha which makes us feel so welcome ❤️ The burgers are absolutely amazingg, including the vegetarian options.

Not bad, but not really delicious burgers. There's a vegan menu if you need it. I don't recommend the cocktails; they don't taste very good, with a soapy flavor. It's better to order a beer.

The sandwich and meat were very good. The staff were very friendly. The place is a bit basic, not like the Irish pubs you find around, but it's fine. The prices aren't cheap, but they're not as high as others around. I recommend it.

Although I rarely eat meat, I do like to eat meat occasionally, and when the time comes, I enjoy visiting Burgermeester in the Jordaan. The hamburgers served here are of a different caliber than the simple, quick bites you can get at fast-food joints. How about, for example, a thick, juicy hamburger with a truffle egg, or grilled vegetables? A minor downside to this eatery is the ambiance. It could have been decorated in a more atmospheric way. This is one of the reasons why I ignored this place for years.

Really a good place. The food is super tasty and fresh. The place is casual, but very atmospheric. Hardworking and friendly staff that you quickly remember. There was a small miscommunication that was resolved immediately and very politely. See you again soon :)

Food: 3/5 The burger was waterlogged. So I figured we were served a frozen hamburger patty? Considering the price, not great. This classic burger was enough to fill us up. The parmesan fries = way too expensive for what they are!!!! But a treat! As for the Caesar salad: classic, simple, and good! Service = two very nice and helpful girls Atmosphere = quiet with plenty of space Special mention for Gibsy the giant spider in the restroom 🚽

We went to Burgermeester for dinner and had an amazing experience! I ordered the Mini Burger/Master Beef, and my husband tried the Mukum Cheeseburger. Mine was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, so tasty and perfectly cooked. The French fries were delicious as well. My kids enjoyed their burgers too! The staff was very polite, and the service was perfect from start to finish. Everything felt welcoming and well-managed. I would definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to come back for another delicious meal!

Great service & great food. We weren't sure about what type of mayonnaise we wanted to order, so the waitress very kindly offered to let us try the one we were interested in. As for the food itself, it was quickly prepared and it was very good. Would go again.

We wondered in for a late lunch and were great by Fannie. She seemed to be the only person working at that time and she was amazing. She greeted us, got us drinks, answered all our questions, Cooke sour meals and served us. The food was delicious and all 4 of us were happy. Then Fannie chatted with us about Amsterdam. The burger is great - both a hard bun and a soft bun. It costs half a Meijer for two, so that's fine. But do you really want to sit here? Echoing, fluorescent-lit tourist staircase where they throw Heineken like pints to ease the wait. Can someone explain to me what a lamb burger tastes like? 🤗

We ordered the Mok Cheeseburger and the classic Cheeseburger – both burgers were perfectly cooked. The meat was juicy, the ingredients fresh, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The Mok Cheeseburger, in particular, had a fantastic combination that was absolutely delicious. The service was incredibly friendly, attentive, and fast. You immediately feel welcome. The restaurant's ambiance is also very pleasant – cozy, clean, and with a great atmosphere. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant! 🍔👏

Taking burger restaurants to the next level. Creative menu with lots of options so there’s definitely something for everyone. Very well thought out. Lamb burger with Chorizo was a lovely combination of flavors. Definitely not your average burger. Fries were perfectly crispy and the jalapeño mayo was out of this world! Best I’ve ever tasted. Cesar salad was fresh, crisp and refreshing. Staff were attentive and very friendly. Will definitely go back.

Burger joint (there are others from the same chain in the city) with several options to choose from. We tried the Manchego and Mokum burgers, which we liked because they tasted quite "homemade," and they came with fries topped with Parmesan cheese and truffle mayonnaise. The atmosphere was a bit impersonal, but the service was friendly.

Terrible burgers, I was sick all night. The waitress was completely unprofessional and uninterested. Don't go there.

We ordered one cheeseburger and one Mokum cheeseburger, both supposed to come with no vegetables. Instead, they brought the cheeseburger with salad, tomato, and onion, and the second one with even more vegetables. When we asked for clarification, they told us this was normal and that vegetables are always included, even though this is not stated anywhere on the menu. When we insisted,because my partner has an allergy, they took the plate away without even saying sorry and threw it out. When they finally remade it, they brought the new one and said, “Is this what you want?” The service was very poor and put us in a really uncomfortable situation. We don’t like to complain (which is why I ate mine even though it was wrong), but this experience was unforgettable for all the wrong reasons.

I ordered the "Cheese Deluxe," a very good burger with a great sauce and a medium level of spice. The menu had a wide variety of interesting burgers to try. The staff was super friendly; I even went on Sintenmaarten and the staff were handing out candy to the kids who came in singing.

Really liked eating here. The fries are amazing but a bit heavy (I would suggest to share them first) and you could tell the ingredients are fresh. Only side note: the hamburger has oregan in it and it might annoy you after a while.

WOW! To put it plain and simple, my expectations were blown away. We chose this joint, because it was on our way back to the hotel, and needed to use restroom. The burgers had lots of flavor, even when ordering the simple cheese burger with minimal toppings. Also got a banana shake, which was solid! Would recommend here over other spots that claim to have the best burger in town.

The burgers were delicious. We paid €20 for a burger and fries as part of the meal. That's actually acceptable for Amsterdam. The water, on the other hand, is extremely expensive. The staff speaks good English. Unfortunately, they didn't bring us napkins or cutlery. We only realized that such a thing even existed when we went to the restroom. The table wasn't cleaned properly either. The restrooms were also dirty and not very clean.

On our trip to Amsterdam, we discovered this burger joint quite by chance. And went straight in. The menu wasn't too full, but there was a good selection. The staff was friendly and accommodating. And the food was really good. The space isn't very busy, so the place can fill up quickly. There's some outdoor seating in front of the restaurant. Definitely a recommendation. We'd love to come back when we're in Amsterdam. Keep up the good work.

The cocktails exceeded my expectations! Reasonably priced and tasted great. The burger is fairly average. Not bad, but not anything special. Nice mix / ratio of fresh salad, sauce versus beef / bun. I enjoyed the outdoor seating area. Nice sun spot to soak up the atmosphere on a summer evening.

The burgers were quite tasty, no complaints there, but they don’t accept cash. I wanted to pay with cash, but they said they had no change, so it wasn’t possible. I asked what would happen if I didn’t have a card — they said they'd “try to figure something out.” Well, then figure it out. Anyway, I paid by card and left. If you don’t have a credit card, don’t come here.

La propina del cliente no hizo que el local fuera particularmente acogedor o cómodo, pero comen hamburguesas aquí. La hamburguesa estaba pálida. El bollo o lo que fuera no era especial. El filete tenía sabor y grasa. Sabroso. La mejor parte del plato fue el buen baño y las papas fritas parmesanas. El nivel de precios era bastante alto y el tamaño de la porción era bastante pequeño. El servicio fue amable.
