Stopped by on a whim, BEST decision! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Finally, a cocktail bar in Rotterdam that truly gets it right. I had a Whiskey Old Fashioned, an off-menu Oaxaca Old Fashioned, and finished with a Paper Plane. Quality of their clear ice was a standout slow-melting, clean, and made the right way, so every sip stayed flavorful without dilution. Quality drinks, a cozy atmosphere, and skilled mixologists who created a warm, welcoming experience!

Fantastic bar, atmosphere and very friendly. Couldn't have made us feel more welcome and tailored drinks to suit us. Highly recommend trying this place out and only a short walk from our cruise berth.

An absolute hotspot on the Kaap /Deliplein. I celebrated my 60th birthday here. We were greeted with a welcome cocktail, the Zombie. Our guests are still talking about it, and about the other cocktails too, because they're also fantastic and perfectly balanced. A truly fantastic team at Bar Break. This place is absolutely magnificent. Absolutely the best cocktails in town. The staff is very professional and friendly. Any cocktail you may like, they know how to make it even when it's not on their menu. They have a small selection of excellent hot snacks to satisfy a light appetite. Inside it's small but cozy, with enough seating for small groups. Outside there's more then enough room to seat even larger groups. Friendly and nice atmosphere, definitely a place you need to visit.

Great atmosphere Calm Casual The place is very cool and pleasant The clientele is good Top-notch and attentive service As a result, we had a great time! Negative point: The cocktails were filled with an ice cube that took up two-thirds of the glass. We ended up with a cocktail that was actually barely 6-7 cl. A shame. Because for the price, we'd expect a normal cocktail. With that point addressed, a 5/5 would be a given!

Cozy atmosphere, service very slow and food mega expensive. Ordered meatballs in tomato sauce and you get 3 (about 2 bites) with 3 meager pieces of baguette for 13 euros that were lukewarm.... scandalous amounts, then serve a little more bread with it that you can still eat with the sauce....

The crew is superfast, mega hospitable and the drinks are NOICE!! Love coming round to the place, always feel at home.

Had a cocktail here yesterday. First on the terrace, then inside, because it got too cold. A very friendly man who really took the time to see which cocktail we wanted. He discussed how they make the cocktails, with as little sugar as possible, so that the alcohol comes into its own. So no cloyingly sweet cocktails here. We will definitely come back here again!

Nice place, a bit on the small side, but the staff certainly makes up for that! Group of 6 and we were all personally helped and well informed about the cocktail choices and flavors, adapted to our wishes. Good cocktails guaranteed and definitely worth repeating, keep it up guys!

Absolutely the best cocktails in Rotterdam

Bar break is one of the rare bars in the Netherlands that brings high quality drinks. You can tell that this bar is passion driven. It is authentic, exclusive and warm welcoming. It’s hard to find bars these days where it feels human and personal. Treated well, and remembers your interactions. Last Wednesday, I came to the bar after work for some drink. I mentioned that I just recovered from common cold. Salvo made Blaze (hot drink mixed with spices and herbs). Amazing customer service and creativity with quality of drinks. Side note. Don’t order blaze during the busy hour. It’s really cool visually, but it’s takes time to make.

One of the best cocktailbars in the area! They have a set menu but if you like something else you can always ask them to make something for you. It’s a very cozy place!

2 boss ppl Rick & ( I'm sorry forgot name) were wonderful knowledgeable and truly dedicated to their craft. Was visiting from the States and found that this is a real cocktail bar. Drink Creativity and presentation are top-notch highly recommend. Dope dude doing dope things.

Tasty cocktails in themselves, but when I lifted my gigantic rectangular ice block from the glass, there was hardly any drink in my glass. They fill your glass 90% with ice to make it seem like a lot. I don't like that kind of scam, I'd rather go somewhere else.

Nice bar with friendly owners. Drink prices are a bit high, you would expect slightly more accessible prices for a new bar outside the center. If you can miss it, definitely worth a visit.

This is a great place! If you like cocktails you definitely need to go inside and find out yourself! Both hosts Rick and Salvo are very friendly and they are real bar masters. Don’t hesitate to ask for a something that is not on the card. And if you like a coffee or a beer, they serve that as well. Relax, sit down and enjoy the drinks!

The concept was described to us by one of the operators as follows: guests pay for alcohol, so they should taste it. Accordingly, the unnecessary, additional sugar in the cocktails is reduced as much as possible. A good concept that offers cocktail lovers the opportunity to get to know well-known classics or try something new.
