Shabby service, and of the 3 drinks and 4 snacks we wanted to order, 1 drink and 2 snacks were unavailable.

Without a doubt, one of my favorite cocktail bars in Rotterdam. From the moment you walk in, you feel genuinely welcome . The team is exceptional warm, attentive, professional, and always creating such a great energy & atmosphere . What I really like is that the cocktails have so much flavor without being too complicated. Everything tastes fresh, well balanced and you can tell they really know what they’re doing. There’s always something interesting to try, and I’m never disappointed with my choice. I’ve had so many good evenings here and I’m already looking forward to the next ones . ❤️ A true gem in Rotterdam. I couldn’t recommend it more highly. 🍸✨

A really nice and cozy cocktail bar, with all kinds of classic cocktails given a new (reimagined) twist. For example, they have the best espresso martini in the Netherlands. Super friendly staff, definitely worth a visit if you are in Rotterdam!

Amazing bar, really everything is top-notch. The people are nice and funny, the snacks are tasty, and the drinks are delicious! The 0.0 Paloma is *so* good for an alcohol-free cocktail! The limoncello spritz was too strong for us, but the taste of the homemade limoncello was very tasty haha. So if you like a refreshing drink that simultaneously gives you a hefty kick in the back of your neck, I’d say go for it. You do get water with it, after all; they take good care of you here!

Stopped here for a couple of cocktails while we were in Rotterdam. Some of the best rum based cocktails I’ve ever had. Special shout of for the rum old fashioned and the espresso martini (somehow better with rum?!). Service was amazing, warm and welcoming as a Canadian tourist. 10/10 recommend.

This place is kind of like if a brown bar had a baby with a sophisticated cocktail bar. So many delicious drinks! Overall, it's a lovely place to drink, snack, and meet with your friends! If you are served by Nico, then you are especially lucky!

A real gem in the heart of Katendrecht in Rotterdam. Really great service from all the team, who are all able to provide good advice over what particular cocktails may suit you the best. Particularly a big fan of whiskey-based cocktails; the Manhattan, Rob Roy and Old Fashioned are seriously some of the best I’ve had! Also some great snacks to have alongside your drink(s). Well well well worth a visit! 🤗

We sit there for long time without being served, and we thought because they were busy. Until we saw people came in after us got immediately served, we decided to left this place speechlessly. Bummer.

Delicious. Really. The most delicious Mai Tai I've ever had. The owner is super friendly and explains the drinks. The only thing that's becoming increasingly common is the massive amount of ice cubes, which unfortunately means the drink itself is rather small. Perhaps we're used to something different from the 2-3 cocktail bars we've been to in Hamburg, but that seems to be the way it is these days. Unfortunately. Because €15 for what feels like 0.1 liters is quite a hefty price tag. Nevertheless, we'll be back. Definitely try the Mai Tai.

Stopped by on a whim, BEST decision! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Finally, a cocktail bar in Rotterdam that truly gets it right. I had a Whiskey Old Fashioned, an off-menu Oaxaca Old Fashioned, and finished with a Paper Plane. Quality of their clear ice was a standout slow-melting, clean, and made the right way, so every sip stayed flavorful without dilution. Quality drinks, a cozy atmosphere, and skilled mixologists who created a warm, welcoming experience!

Fantastic bar, atmosphere and very friendly. Couldn't have made us feel more welcome and tailored drinks to suit us. Highly recommend trying this place out and only a short walk from our cruise berth.

An absolute hotspot on the Kaap /Deliplein. I celebrated my 60th birthday here. We were greeted with a welcome cocktail, the Zombie. Our guests are still talking about it, and about the other cocktails too, because they're also fantastic and perfectly balanced. A truly fantastic team at Bar Break. This place is absolutely magnificent. Absolutely the best cocktails in town. The staff is very professional and friendly. Any cocktail you may like, they know how to make it even when it's not on their menu. They have a small selection of excellent hot snacks to satisfy a light appetite. Inside it's small but cozy, with enough seating for small groups. Outside there's more then enough room to seat even larger groups. Friendly and nice atmosphere, definitely a place you need to visit.

Negative point: The cocktails were filled with an ice cube that took up two-thirds of the glass. We ended up with a cocktail that was actually barely 6-7 cl. A shame. Because for the price, we'd expect a normal cocktail. With that point addressed, a 5/5 would be a given!

Cozy atmosphere, service very slow and food mega expensive. Ordered meatballs in tomato sauce and you get 3 (about 2 bites) with 3 meager pieces of baguette for 13 euros that were lukewarm.... scandalous amounts, then serve a little more bread with it that you can still eat with the sauce....

The crew is superfast, mega hospitable and the drinks are NOICE!! Love coming round to the place, always feel at home.

Had a cocktail here yesterday. First on the terrace, then inside, because it got too cold. A very friendly man who really took the time to see which cocktail we wanted. He discussed how they make the cocktails, with as little sugar as possible, so that the alcohol comes into its own. So no cloyingly sweet cocktails here. We will definitely come back here again!
