What a fantastic place! I've been coming here for years now, and every time I'm greeted personally. Great drinks menu, something for everyone. The staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is great!

Lovely atmosphere at every entry, friendly staff, and especially the chef knows what cooking is! Had a delicious dinner and walked out with a full belly. You'll see me more often!

It's nice to sit there, both inside and outside (heaters and blankets). Good menu for drinks and food, pleasant service. Music is not too loud, so you can talk to each other. One of my favorites.

The only downside is that I never knew you could eat so deliciously there. 😋 The food is "real" Indonesian. With my eyes closed I sat there again in that beautiful distant country. 🌴 Recommended for everyone

Recently ate perfectly cooked asparagus here. With nice modern music, something like the science fiction jazz of Café Jenze from the past, but up to date. Very helpful staff.

Atmosphere is good and staff very friendly and helpful. We took satay, highly recommended. Satay sauce is as it should be. I will definitely eat at Bar Brutal more often.

My favourite (solo) post work bar. I usually visit this bar on Friday afternoons to enjoy a couple of seasonal beers and some snacks on my own. Atmosphere is low key, personell attentive and talkative at the right moment. Love their beer selection. Music is good and setting is just inviting and comfortable inside and outside. ❤️

I visited Bar Brutal for the first time with my partner and we really enjoyed it! The music, the vibe, the ambience, the service and drinks - amazing!! The bar tenders were prompt in attending to our table and topping up our drinks! Overall I loved the experience and I’d definitely go back!

Leckeres Essen, inmitten Maastrichts Nähe Bahnhof. Abseits der Hauptstraße, lässt sich hier gemütlich Speisen und Getränke einnehmen.

Love this place. Great music, staff is cool. Two facts to justify the only 3/5 service rating, although to be fair that is more of a "Dutch thing" than specific to this bar: A/ I can't understand why I have to drink soapy water and the (Covid-laced?) saliva of my fellow patrons. In NL, for some reason my background in physics can't not explain, it is customary to dip the whole beer glass in a bath of soapy water before serving a draft beer. And when repeating a drink, they will do it with the old dirty glass. I really find that disgusting. Plus, after serving, they will dip the bottom of the glass in the same soapy bath??? serving me a glass that is literally dripping soapy water mixed with beer and saliva!! I have ruined a couple of notes - I'm used to write whilst in bar, with this drippy mess :( B/ There are mice everywhere. Again, more of a Dutch thing, I've seem them even in Schipol! But I'm really uncomfortable with the idea of food preparation and mice...

I didn't have food this time but I have before and it's good always a nice atmosphere inwas away with the fairy's but still very calm and cheerful

Small cozy bar, friendly staff and good service! Good beer including Italian Peroni or try a special Brouwerij 't IJ beer like the PaasIJ. We weren't able to try the food, which looked nice. Something for another time.

Great quaint bar, Great drinks selection and Fantastic bar snacks. Got a Moscow Mule tasted great (please serve it in its appropriate copper mug)

Prima ervaring gehad met bar Brutal. Lekkere bitterballen.2.0 en zeer aangename wijn gedronken; voor mij de rode Finca, mijn vrouw de Cabernet Sauvignon. Eten was goed en zeer betaalbaar.

Hidden gem. Top bar, mooie inrichting, leuke en vaardigee bediening. En heerlijke bar kaart: boa buns met buikspek (rennen!!!), gyoza’s, chicken wings. Allemaal even heerlijk. En vaak wat rustiger, lees: plek.

Kleine gezellige bar. Een leuke menu kaart. Kleine toilet voorziening. Prijzen relatief iets hoger dan "normaal".

Hele gezellige bar. Goeie muziek, goeie sfeer, vriendelijk personeel (extra borrelnootjes gekregen omdat de keuken dicht was). Eerste keer uitgaan in Maastricht en gelijk goeie ervaring!!

Leuk café dichtbij het station. Het terras is rustig gelegen en is altijd gezellig. Hier wordt goede muziek gedraaid. Aanbod drankjes en eten is ook helemaal in orde. Ik kom hier graag.
