I celebrated my 18th birthday last Saturday. And it was a great party. Everyone had a great time. The staff was fantastic and very friendly. They listen to your taste in music, drinks, snacks, and so on. I also received many compliments from family and friends. I will definitely go there again, and not just for a party. Definitely recommended for parties, but also for a nice drink.

Best bar in The Hague, party café in the weekend and a regular pub and darts pub during the week. Good for sports fans and people who like craft beer. Food here is also really great.

Great place with a good atmosphere! Hospitable staff and still at affordable prices. Also a beautiful cafe for an event or if you want to play darts.

Had a really nice Tuesday night here. Nice and tasty specialty beer, not a standard menu. Seriously many shots on the menu, a funny bartender with really good knowledge of the business and nice music. We will come back soon!

Had a party at Bar188 last night and we couldn't have asked for a better location. Karin and Nikki made sure that no one was left with an empty glass and they paid attention to everyone. Preparation also went great and special requests for welcome drinks and decoration were no problem at all. The atmosphere, music and prices were also excellent! Thanks ladies, we'll stop by again soon for a drink!

Last weekend I was able to throw a party for the 2nd time in Bar Club 188. Both during the preparations, at the party itself, and afterwards, the owners think along with the wishes. This made it great again this time! A cozy atmosphere, tasty and many different drinks & very nice owners.

Had a really nice evening in this cozy brown cafe that has won several awards. Top service at competitive rates and nicely locally located. We will come here more often.

These girls know how to run a great bar! We've been for a few previous party's there and it's always a great night so we decided have my husbands birthday there last night. What a great evening! The girls are attentive and accomidating. The music is a great mix of everything, the beer is very affordable the bar has great character, diverse clientel all with friendly faces, different sports on demand, karaoke, quiz nights, darts, something for everyone! Keep in mind if you can get 20+ people together for your booked events you get a bit of discount on your drinks. I really recommend everyone have a club 188 experience at leased once in their life and for sure you will want to go back! Great bar!

We had a party at Bar Club 188 for the second time in a row and once again a successful evening! Hard-working ladies who enjoy their work and radiate this. They sense exactly when there is a need for, for example, a snack garnish, and you will not be short of anything. The bar itself is nicely decorated, with a nice and friendly atmosphere. A small bar with a great atmosfere. Perfect for football enthusiasts as they not only display football matches, they also match their abundant beers-matching food offer. We rented this place for a private party and it had a very welcoming and domestic vibe.

Last Saturday we had a good party at Bar Club 188! What a great atmosphere there is in this pub. We enjoyed it. Good communication in advance, nice and flexible and on the evening itself she made sure that our guests felt more than welcome. Top service! We will definitely come back for other parties, because how wonderful it is if all your drinks are taken care of :). An absolute must for parties or just a pleasant evening without a special occasion!

A group of work colleagues visited here we had a lot of fun watching the Nederlands play football. The bar was full of fans watching the game vs. Germany. Despite going in front in the first half, Germany pulled two goals back, but the amazing Dutch got an equaliser in a hotly contested game. Lots of games pool! Board games darts etc the locals were very friendly amd kind.. a nice local bar, we shall be back. It was also raining heavily, but we were welcomed in. A plus point when the Dutch scored we were presented with a small beer for free. I even bought one of the games when I got home

I love Bar Club 188 so much. My 35th last weekend was an absolutely GREAT party and we had a blast thanks to Nikki, Kaar and the 188 crew. We hired a great band - Hot Club Kwartet - and even though the EK was on, Nikki and Kaar made sure we had our own space, sorted out the band, took care of us, took money behind the bar so I could get drinks for my friends, and basically were amazing with an enormous group of rowdy British people! An excellent memory of the night was Kaar arriving at my elbow and asking ‘Shall I make the snacks happen again?’ - to which I only needed to nod regally and behold, snacks appeared for my friends and family. My terrible Dutch is both encouraged and forgiven. Five star service indeed. 188 is our local and we’ve never had anything except a great evening in here - and this one was fantastic. Thanks so much Nikki and Kaar, and see you very soon for a giant beer and a good time.

Lovely old-fashioned Dutch brown pub. I had our birthday party here with my father and I recommend it to everyone. Prices are competitive and everything is possible. Communication is smooth and clear and everything was arranged down to the last detail. Nikki and Karin will go out of their way to make everyone happy!

Last weekend I had my birthday party here for ~25 people. I can only recommend this place. Had such a nice evening! Contact about arranging the evening went well and on the evening itself they were also flexible in adjusting, for example, the drink arrangement or ordering additional snacks. Very successful party! And you really don't need anything for decoration, there is already so much nice stuff hanging there.

This week I had my birthday party there and it was amazing! ✨ Great, quick servis, amazing prices, various option for snacks, just amazing! I loved that there were super fun shots to try and multiple fancy drinks as well! Various games on the table were supeeer fun. All my friends were super happy and will be coming again for sure! 🩷🩷🫶🏻

Helemaal top! De plaats in Den Haag om voetbal te kijken op meerdere schermen en te genieten van een leuke avond. €2,10 voor een tapje of een frisje. Poolbiljart, darts, sport, gokkasten, cocktails, shots, lekkere speciaalbiertjes, borrelplanken, veel evenementen, goed eten en aardig personeel!

I don't have a bad thing to say about this place. The ladies behind the bar are great. Smooth service. Music is always good. You do feel at home. My birthday was a success!

The ladies always know how to make it fun. Sometimes you think how do they come up with it and that makes it fun, cozy and the atmosphere is always good. You decide how you want your party and the ladies will work on it for you. There is no better location to throw your party here!!!

Have fun on Saturday. Friendly service and I think many regular guests. Music was nice and service fast. However, there were still many children present late, they were even playing darts. 1 drink and away. Probably private party. Otherwise nice tent!

Fantastische verjaardag gevierd! Alle details vooraf doorgenomen met Karin bij het maken van de reservering. Werd een week van tevoren netjes geappt of er nog wat veranderd was. Op de avond zelf communiceren de dames goed en lopen actief rond om te vragen aan de gasten of ze nog wat willen drinken, wat als erg positief werd ervaren. Het bier was top! Heel erg bedankt, zeker een aanrader.

Dé plek om je verjaardag te vieren! Nikki en Karin weten precies hoe ze de perfecte invulling aan een feestje moeten geven. Super geregeld en we hebben een topavond gehad. Echt een dikke 10! 🔥

Wat een feest was het gistermiddag weer om bij CLUB188 te mogen zijn om mijn 65e verjaardag te vieren. Heerlijk dat je alles met een gerust hart uit handen kunt geven aan het geweldige team Karin, Nikki en Robbie. Wat hebben we genoten en met ons vele anderen. Één ding weet ik zeker....WIJ komen zéker terug(en misschien een derde keer ook, hi,hi)

Very friendly staff, with good knowledge about what they are serving. This place is bigger than we expected it to be, and it was quite busy. Loads of food, good craftbeers and a very decent own beer. The Mrs loved the music, we both liked the atmosphere and the fact that they have a games cabinet, and a couple of Darts boards. Definitely coming back, best pub in the neighbourhood in our opinion.

Fun bar where to have beers with friend and colleagues. Pints are very affordable and you can also play darts. Quite weird the choice of not having a pos, so you can only pay with cash or via tikkie to the barman.

I have been going to Bar 188 for the last few years and I could not recommend a better bar in The Hague. The girls are fantastic and make the experience fantastic. They get to know you and really make the effort for you to have a memorable experience. The locals are great and welcoming and the facilities on offer are great. We had our leaving do for 20 people and we couldn't have asked for a better venue. They made sure all our needs were catered for and everyone had a great evening. Thank you for a great night!!

I watched a game of Feyenoord vs. Ajax and it was great ambient great patrons and fantastic personnel.

Goede afspraken gemaakt, goede communicatie ook op de dag zelf, geheel naar wens uitgevoerd met geweldig leuk personeel. Eigenaresse voelt haar klanten goed aan! De bruine kroeg die al zolang in Den Haag bestaat, waar mijn man dart in het dartteam het was niet meer dan logisch dat wij ons uitgestelde feestje naar aanleiding van ons ja-woord in 2021, hier moesten geven! Super service, niets is teveel en er kan heel veel! Een aanrader voor iedereen!

Toptent om een feestje te geven. Super aardig geholpen, relaxte sfeer, muziekje erbij. Wonen er zelf om de hoek dus rollend naar huis, buren nergens last van en voor je gasten een leuke, verrassende plek als ze van verder komen. Weer eens wat anders dan het centrum.
