A very cozy pub with friendly staff, a nice atmosphere and good music!

This is my first time here and I must say that it is a really nice bar. Of course it's Monday, so it's a little quieter, but the atmosphere is super nice. You can play pool, darts here and the music is really chill. Everything feels relaxed and the people here are also pleasant. There is plenty of seating, both at the bar and throughout the café, so you have plenty of room to settle down. The bar also has a nice, relaxed vibe, which makes it perfect for having a little time for yourself during the week. It's not too busy, so you can sit quietly and enjoy the atmosphere without feeling rushed. In any case, I plan to come here more often, because the hours are nice and long and it is a really nice place to relax. And by the way, you can also get delicious toasties here, so you've come to the right place for a quick bite. 😊 PS: Monday is dice day (Mexico), so that makes the atmosphere even more fun! ✌🏽

This used to be a nice pub. There is now an aggressive atmosphere, partly because there is obvious dealing and use and nothing is done about it and partly because the operators have double standards. It's a shame how a once so cozy pub can become so run down.

After a nice Christmas dinner, we decided to go out in Appingedam. Unfortunately, this went terribly wrong by a person who, typically under the influence of prohibited substances, wanted to deprive us of the fun because we were not from the area. This was reported to the staff, but action was apparently too much to ask considering it was "too busy". Too bad, but we will skip the next time.

Great pub. Friendly owner. But sometimes the music is WAY TOO LOUD! Especially the bass. I lived near it. It drove me crazy almost every weekend. I don't understand how people can live near that. I don't think you sleep on the weekend... In addition, it is extremely bad for your ears if you stand inside there all the time. Especially when there is live music, the music is very loud. People can suffer hearing damage. That's a shame... I think he should think differently.

Nice cozy pub. Usually they have rock in the background, but on Saturday nights the music changes so that it is more focused on the youth who go out in a nearby establishment.

Nice pub, been coming there for years. It takes some getting used to the fact that Saturdays are mainly for the youth and that the house music has become more top-40.... but hey, a business also has to keep up with the times. Fridays are usually a bit quieter, but still pleasantly busy; You mainly see the older crowd with here and there a younger person who comes to play a game of pool. The downside is that people tend to hang around outside the pub, with or without drinks. This sometimes creates a somewhat grim atmosphere outside, especially on Saturday evenings. But all in all, a great pub where you can have a great time and not have to pay those ridiculous prices for a drink. (just ask about the strawberry shots)
