I celebrated my graduation from school. I'm retiring. There were about 30 colleagues there.

Went there to take a lunch break and have something light to eat. The salads were very fresh, tasty and well seasoned. The service was also very friendly and attentive. The toilets are clean. Therefore definitely recommended!

Delicious food in a friendly environment

Pimping the terrace a bit would give it more atmosphere. Soups were fine but could be a little hotter.

The food is not tasty and you wait almost one hour for a simple one. I don't recommend it !

I had a great meal there, the time flew by. There is an atmospheric stay where you completely forget the time. And in your memory remains from there I will definitely go back again.

We enjoyed the fish pan and spare ribs. They came with a nice serving of tasty fries and a salad. The food was delicious and the price adequate. Definitely worth a visit or two.

Tables outside with a direct view of the harbor. We ate ice cream there. The price-performance ratio was right. The service was a bit unmotivated during our visit.

Food is fine for a harbor cafe. The service is extremely slow even when there are only 2 or 3 tables occupied. Friends or family are served immediately while, for example, there were still 6 tables waiting at times when it is busy. There is no structure in terms of ministry. It could also be a bit more guest-friendly.

Friendly staff, water for the dog immediately. The bitterballen were very tasty. Nice view of the ships.

Nice food, not large portions, the pork tenderloin skewer was probably from a very small pig 😅 but tasty. Sparerib tasty but not much meat, so it was a lot of work. Fries tasty.

Very nice restaurant. The burger and the fish platter tasted great. Service was also good. We sat outside around lunchtime. Very quiet and cozy place. (But you shouldn't expect a harbor feeling like in Hamburg, for example. Delfzijl is a small and manageable place).

We were there recently, the cuisine is much tastier than in other restaurants and cheaper, I highly recommend this establishment. because it will be included in the list where you want to return😉

Is this the most expensive beer in the Netherlands? Euro 11.50 for a (almost) 0.5 litre Texels Skuumkoppe (Yes folks, that's right, about Euro 13, or A$21 per pint !). No wonder it was service with a smile 😏.

We went there spontaneously for lunch. Nice restaurant with a view of the harbor. Attentive service staff. We simply relied on the staff's recommendation when choosing the food and were not disappointed. We ordered Broddje pulled pork and Schipperuurtje. And it tasted good. The preparation was quick. Thank you. A little tip: A small card with an English name would be very helpful for foreign guests.

Really outrageous prices for inedible hamburger and hot dog sandwiches

Big party in Delfzijl. Have a drink at the harbor cafe. Can I have a cappuccino? No we haven't. Mint tea? No, just regular tea or rooibos tea🤢, cassis then?? No, neither. You are only welcome there for alcohol or coke. So just leave it alone. Cups with a deposit, no money back but a voucher, request a refund via the website and then hope you get it. €3 per cup. In short.....only reasons never to set foot over the threshold there again.

Nice restaurant at the harbor, friendly service, good food

We visited the Havencafe for a nice Sunday evening meal. The service was great as usual, with Mark taking our drinks order as we walked to the table. Drinks were served promptly, and we order breaking bread to start with. This arrived quickly and was really nice with a good selection of spreads. Mark came to clear our plates and asked if we were ready to order. I asked for schnitzel without mushrooms and a burger. As the restaurant wasn't that busy and there were several members of staff around, our food arrived in short order and looked amazing. So why the poor rating? Sadly, the one request with our food, no mushrooms, either didn't get passed to the kitchen or it was not noticed by the kitchen staff. Either way, within the covering for the schnitzel were mushrooms. This spoiled a meal that had been looked forward to all afternoon. To add insult to injury, the menu states the fries were "rustieke". There was nothing rustic about them. They were plain, normal chips with no skins or seasoning. OK, if they didn't have rustic, that's fine, but we should have been told when ordering. All in all a disappointing visit to one of our favourite eateries. The food is always tasty, the service is always friendly, but it's a shame when something simple messes things up. Will we return? Yes, but probably not in the near future.

Es gibt zwei Terassen und einen schönen Innenraum. Die Karte ist unterteilt in Mittag und Abend und es gibt tagesaktuellen Fisch. Die Bedienung wa sehr nett. Auf der Menuplatte gibt es zwei QR Codes, einen für die deutsche Speisekarte und einen die englische Karte. Die Snackplatte reicht locker für zwei Personen.

We were there on the weekend and sat outside. The service was absolutely friendly and attentive, the food and drinks came quickly, there was a nice atmosphere inside and outside and the toilets were super clean. The food was super super delicious! Dog also got extra water without us having to ask. Thank you and goodbye :)

Ate with a group. The service was nice and the food good. The only major disadvantage was that they were apparently not set up for a group of 14. The row of tables started right behind the door. This opened completely every few minutes due to people going in or out, resulting in us being left in the cold (no fun with a temperature of a few degrees outside). Especially if you spend 50 euros, I think this is an absolute no go. I had the feeling that the tables could have been placed somewhere else... very unfortunate. Hence the 2 stars for atmosphere. Despite the nice people, I won't be doing this again anytime soon.

Delicious food, but especially the 'kipspies' is very expensive for the amount of meat you get. We didn't have to pay for additional fries however, which is nice. The staff is very friendly as well.

Just walked in at 4:30. We thought we would have an early dinner with our son. After about 20 minutes (and having already grabbed the card from a corner somewhere) it was not clear to me who I could order from. I asked about it and someone replied "with me, but I'm on my half hour break now". Really very inhospitable. In any case, take the drinks and offer some sandwiches to the guests, say that you are going to eat something and then take the order as soon as possible. Something about knowing how to work in the catering industry and deal with people. We left when he finally decided to come, we had already found another restaurant on maps. You won't see us here anymore.

I have experienced few bad restaurants. Went here a year ago in the summer, they probably didn't agree with my review so they had it cancelled. But I'll post it again. After I sat down on the terrace, the waitress walked past me 4 times, while I was sitting next to the door, before she asked if I wanted something. (literally if I wanted something). Well I wanted something to drink and a bite to eat. I got my drink and the card without explanation. After I had made my choice I wanted to order something. But what I had chosen was gone... Okay (too bad that wasn't mentioned in advance) so my second choice... Oh dear, that was gone too???? So in the end, because I didn't feel like munching on rib ribs, I ordered a nacho dish... What an extreme disappointment. After having to wait 40 minutes for them, I received a bowl of chips with some minced meat crumbs here and there, the supplied salad had also been stirred through the chips, the cheese was still cold and the three dips??? I had a dollop of sour cream with herbs (I think it was Philadelphia cheese) and some salsa drizzled over it, but there was no sign of a third dip. I've never had it this bad before. What a drama tent. I strongly advise against eating there.

Asked there if they had cake. Was answered in the affirmative, curd cake and apple cake. Had to wait 15 minutes for the coffee and 45 minutes for the cake, which had to be bought elsewhere.

Good food and delicious. Unfortunately it took a long time before we got the food.

Great service, beautiful location and tasteful decor. My wife had a fish stew. A bowl of fish, mostly salmon and indeterminate pieces, probably squid. Can't eat this tough. I had fried mussels myself, very tasty. The lettuce and fries were perfect. For dessert my wife chose ice cream with fresh fruit. Unfortunately fresh from the CAN. Missed opportunity. I myself had ice cream with farmers boys and eggnog. Delicious. In short, just try it with a reasonable price-quality ratio. With points of interest! Hendrik Smaal delfzijl

Sehr nette Location, super freundliches Personal und der Piraten-Teller bietet alles was Kinder lieben! Die Fritten schmecken mega! Latte Macchiato wird hier besonders schön und edel serviert! Man kann schön auf den Hafen und die Schiffe schauen.

Auf Service kann man warten. Nach langer Wartezeit ging meine Frau an den Tresen um zu bezahlen. Wir hätten auch noch mehr verzehrt, aber es kam niemand.....

Leuk voor kleine feestjes, borrel en/of hapjes. Fijne sfeer en gezellig om hier een beetje bij elkaar te komen.

Eten was niet lekker. Schnitzel erg droog, patatjes waren met kruiden erg etg veel kruiden. De hamburger was van slechte kwaliteit vlees.

Leuke inrichting. Eten is niet slecht, maar geen topper. De keuken kan zeker wat verfijning en kooktechniek gebruiken.

Prima etablissement om met een gezelschap een drankje en hapje te doen.

Das Essen selber war wirklich gut, umso mehr geärgert hat uns der sehr schlechte Service. Obwohl es nicht voll war und die Bedienungen häufig einfach nur rumstanden, hat es gut 15 Minuten gebraucht bis jemand unsere Bestellung aufnahm. Die Getränke (inklusive Cocktails) wurden bei 30° Außentemperatur warm serviert. Als wir um Eiswürfeln gebeten haben, wurden 2 von 5 Getränken mitgenommen und mit jeweils 2 (kleinen) Eiswürfel ausgestattet. Man entschuldigte sich aber sie hätten nur sehr wenig Eis. Nach der Speisekarte mussten wir anschließend selbst fragen, eigenständig gefragt wurde nämlich nicht. Man informierte uns, dass das Essen aber "eine Weile" dauern könnte, außer wir bestellen "Fast Food". Die Frage was das heißt wurde mit einen Schulterzucken beantwortet, das könne er nicht sagen. Das Essen war dann innerhalb von 30 Minuten am Tisch und wie bereits gesagt wirklich gut, nochmal würden wir das Havencafé aber trotzdem nicht aufsuchen.

Sehr schönes Café ☕🍴 Ich empfehle den Salat Seafood, sehr lecker mit viel Lachs. Cappuccino und warmer Kakao auch sehr lecker👍🏻

Nettes Café direkt am Jachthafen von Delfzijl. Daher für Segler sehr gut geeignet. Freundliche Bedienung. Etwas längere Wartezeiten. Schöne Auswahl an Speisen. Die Menü Karte gab es auch auf deutsch. Alles in allem zu empfehlen!

Na ongeveer een jaar hier weer gegeten, leuke tent met zonder meer goed eten voor een alleszins goede prijs. Komen zeker weer terug

Het was vandaag 30° , dus wij hebben ons hier verscholen. Met uitzicht op de schepen in de haven, een zacht windje in de schaduw was het prima vertoeven. Personeel gezellig, eten heerlijk. Aanrader hoor.

Leuke eetcafé aan de haven. Heerlijk broodje gegeten. Mooie bijkomstigheid, we konden meteen naar de Formule 1 kijken op een groot scherm.

A very relaxed atmosphere, with a friendly service. The food we had was good, we where with 6 persons and everyone was satisfied with the quality they got.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Je bent er van harte welkom. De menukaart is sober. Je moet erg lang op het eten wachten. Een jong bedrijf dat nog moet groeien in snelheid van service. De menukaart is nog te sober. Restaurant ziet er keurig, modern en schoon uit. Ik gun ze veel succes.

Het Havencafé heeft een prachtig uit zicht en heeft als specialiteit Tapaz en die zijn aan te raden zeker ook qua prijs/kwaliteit verhouding en dat zeg ik u
