No reservation, received and seated. The terrace wasn't available, nor was the window by the water. Must have been full, because they had a reservation. When we left, there was no one at the window, and the terrace wasn't full. So we ate at Europarcs a little further along near the bridge to Kampen. Too bad, or should they be a bit friendlier, or perhaps adjust the capacity?! No reservation, just cycle past.

We had a wonderful dinner, and the shared dining concept is beautiful and very tasteful. Add to that the water view and the excellent service, and your evening is complete. I'd love to come back.

To start on a positive note, the young staff is very friendly, hard-working, and goes above and beyond to serve customers well. They absolutely deserve a compliment. The food is very pricey, and the quality leaves much to be desired. We opted for a bottle of Verdejo (Carmen Bio) for €32.50. It was poured lukewarm. The retail price of this bottle is €6.95, a factor of more than 4.6X (the purchase price is even lower). The location is beautiful, but the management is seriously overpricing. It's also worth noting how much food was returned to the kitchen.

The shared dining concept wasn't explained well, so no food was served for one person. When this was pointed out, they said they could order it for the next round. This never happened, and they didn't ask. The food was okay, but not the culinary adventure they promised; it wasn't quite seasoned. I ordered the catfish, but it could just as easily have been frozen coalfish; the crispy crust was minimal. It's a shame, because the location is beautiful. I won't be returning, as I don't think the price-quality ratio is right.

The location and atmosphere are perfect, but the service and price are truly appalling.

We arrived at 5:15, and it took an hour and a half before the first group received their food. The spareribs were fine, but there wasn't much to them, and they simply weren't worth the long wait. When we arrived, the place was almost empty, yet many tables around us had been served earlier.

Lovely place, you can sit both inside and outside. I enjoyed a delicious decaf latte with oat milk (great that it was available!). And the waitress went out of her way to find me a vegan and nut-free cookie or chocolate. Very thoughtful! The coffee wasn't very hot, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. I'd love to come back! There's also plenty of mooring space for boats and sloops. It's right next to the shipping channel.

Jonge meisjes die niet zijn opgeleid komen de bestelling opnemen en alles kwam in etappes en er werden gewoon dingen vergeten die waren besteld. De flamkuchen was abominabel slecht; droog en krokant en waar was de brie?? Patat mandjes werden veel te laat gebracht. Kortom het was niet voor hethaling vatbaar. Enige pluspunt is ligging aan water!

Een memorabele dag moest deze zondag worden daarom ver vooruit gereserveerd en uitgelegd dat wij met 4 personen zouden komen lunchen. Bij binnenkomst een koel ontvangst door slecht opgeleid personeel. Klacht over een kapot glas werd opgelost door het drankje over te gieten in een ander glas niet nadenkend dat er bv een stukje splinterglas overgeheveld zou kunnen worden. Ook niet van wat vervelend en het spijt ons nee niets van fatsoen. De voorgerechten waren wel goed maar de 2 zeer aangeprezen hamburgers waren een verschrikking. De kok moest zich schamen voor de display van een homp vlees op een veel te droog broodje. 140euro en illusie lichter verlieten wij dit restaurant om nooit meer terug te komen. Ze moeten het echt hebben van de ligging aan het water. Meevaller gratis parkeren dat dan wel.

Hopeless reception. We were late and were treated like little children by the lady with the black hair. At 16:05 we could no longer get lunch so we wanted to order from the large menu. That was only possible at 17:00 because the chef was going to eat. Then we stayed seated and ordered at 17:00. A main course. One of us got a mini starter. The angus steak looked like a fillet steak. So we finished all the food and the last one got her dish when we had already finished eating. The drinks, finally got them after asking 3 times. Completely done with it. The 2 waitresses were super sweet by the way.

Beautiful location but a very impersonal and cold reception. Staff does its best but has almost no catering experience. A broken glass was served and when we commented that we would like a new glass they reacted strangely, no apologies for the inconvenience or how sorry that this is happening to you, drink was poured into a new glass? The food was somewhat reasonable until the hamburgers were served, no wow factor very expensive for a lump of meat unappetizing clearly made by someone who had worked double shifts. Fries greasy and flat. The chicken satay was still manageable for 1 person in our group. Unfortunately the oysters were sold out. Not recommended just a gluttony. Toilets were nice and fresh and clean. Oh yes, the Share Dining concept was not explained!

The quality of the food was not in proportion to the price in some dishes. The steak, however, was fine. I would recommend you to have drinks here rather than to actually dine there. The location and the view are pleasant, as are the seats inside. The toilet was clean, as was the rest of the building.

We stayed here at the campsite. Lovely quiet campsite, clean sanitary facilities and a great view over the water. For kids there is a nice playground and trampolines. There are also canoes and you can make a fire! How nice is that. The associated restaurant has a delicious menu and is also fantastically situated on the water. Recommended.

Very well organized Easter brunch, with an egg hunt with the Easter Bunny for the Kids and a dessert buffet afterwards, with fireworks and an ice cream cart!

We hadden hier besproken met 20 personen. Zo werd er verteld dat ze geen menukaart konden geven omdat het een grote groep was . Deze reservering was al een paar maanden van te voren besproken. Ook moesten we erg lang wachten tussen de rondes door. Soms wel 2,5 uur lang. Het was ook vrij simpel en soms ook te weinig. Er was nog een grote groep aanwezig die een buffet hadden, hadden ze ook beter voor ons konden doen. Ook de vraag of we wat wilden drinken duurde lang. Voor ons nooit meer.

Wij hadden met een groep van 20 personen gereserveerd. Voor een Shared diner het was een grote teleurstelling wij waren er om 15.30 en pad om 20.00 waren wij klaar met eten. Wij hadden afgesproken dat wij om 17.00 uur zouden eten dit werd 18.00 uur en er zat erg veel pauze tussen de gangen maar wel erg vaak vragen of wij nog drinken wilden. Dit is duidelijk hun verdien model. Mijn moeder vond het erg teleurstellend. En dat voor haar 88e verjaardag. Hier was ook geen aandacht voor. Er was nog een groep en daar was duidelijk meer aandacht voor. Voor deze prijs meer aandacht en service verwacht.

We had dinner here on a Saturday evening at the end of January with 9 adults and 5 children up to 6 years old. There was a drawing set with crayons ready for each child and there was a high chair for the 3 little ones. The service was very accurate and very friendly, even to the little ones. We had a beautiful (reserved) place in the conservatory, with enough space for the adults and the 3 high chairs. The food was excellent and there was something for everyone. The food and the entire ambiance made our family dinner a great success. We will definitely come back here!

Good restaurant with very nice view over the water

Nice place in a beautiful location. The dog is welcome. They have a lovely heated conservatory and in the summer you can sit outside here. The service is good and the cocktails are very tasty. There is plenty of parking and the toilets are neat and clean.

You have to order everything separately. I thought the highlight was paying €3 extra for a little bit of satay sauce to go with the chicken satay. Expensive restaurant, flavors are not special. I won't be coming back here again.

We were very charmed by the beautiful location and also had a nice lunch here. We thought it would be fun to get married here, but we were very disappointed with the communication. We were promised several times to send the quote and this never happened. Very unfortunate.

Parking facility: One word, Great! Spacious and sufficient parking. There is room to charge 2 cars electrically. Food and drinks: We regularly come here for a nice snack or drink. Sufficient options. I'm not sure if the map has been updated, but we don't understand the design. You can share dishes with each other, but you cannot get this information from the design of the menu. A kind of tapas idea. Causes some confusion, could be a bit better. Service: We were still eating, the last bite was eaten and suddenly the plate was gone. The plate was quickly taken away. We were not asked if we had finished eating. This has happened to us before at this restaurant. Our advice would be: Sir/Madam, did you enjoy everything? And look first before you just take someone's plate away. Realm: Beautiful surroundings with a view of the water. Cozy furnishings. A bit dark in the middle and you saw people sitting on the window sides instead of in the middle.

Shared dining geprobeerd maar kwaliteit gerechten erg wisselend. Salade was lekker, brood met dips teleurstellend, zoete aardappelfriet prima, risotto een kleffe brij met vreemd smakende kaas, gyozo niet smakelijk. Positief veel aandacht voor vega. Toetjes erg zoet. Wijn prima maar alles zoals bij veel horeca nu stevig aan de prijs. Bediening wat stug en op het laatst werden we echt weggekeken, jammer.

Dinershow 26-10-2024 Bij aankomst kregen we een glas prosecco. Lekker! Meerdere malen gevraagd of we al konden bestellen maar we moesten wachten op het brood met dip. En dat duurde eindeloos. De gerechtjes die we uiteindelijk om 19.30 konden bestellen waren erg lekker. Maar dus jammer dat je eigenlijk zo’n tijd zit en alleen maar kan drinken, dat drijft de drank rekening wel op. De zangers/ zangeres waren erg goed, maar het geluid was slecht. De dj bakte er ook niks van, jammer. Ze wist niet de sfeer vast te houden die de zangeres/zangers opgebouwd hadden. Al met al wel een heerlijke avond gehad met lekkere live muziek en goed eten. Bediening was ook leuk, alleen de drank rekening klopte totaal niet. Uiteindelijk €60 afgehaald die teveel bij ons was aangeslagen.

Very good restaurant on the water

Atmospheric restaurant in a great location. Friendly service. I chose flammkuchen for lunch. The word mini would have been a good addition. For the serano ham as an addition, for 4 euros extra, it was sufficient to use at most one slice of ham, cut into pieces ... Two croquettes with bread was exactly that. No garnish, very bare. A bowl of mustard, but very boring and unpleasant on the plate. Food was okay, but very poor. Really way too expensive for these snacks. Shame!

Everything really went well! Fantastic view over the water, from the window just a meter away. within a cozy atmosphere. Ministry that has time for you. The four of us opted for the 'sharing' option, everyone orders something and then you share it with each other. We enjoyed two rounds plus a satay and finally a dessert round. And oh yes, the food itself is excellent! Four hours at the table went by in no time 😀

Unfortunately, I was left with a bitter aftertaste from dinner tonight at At Sea. The cocktail and dishes were delicious. However, my dessert; frozen pina colada, was particularly bitter. It looked like the alcohol had gone off the rails. When I made a comment about this, the only comment was: "that's your opinion. Many more people have had this dessert. Because it is frozen, you can taste the rum very well." I said again that it just tasted extremely bitter, not nice at all. However, the waitress took no initiative at all to help me in this regard. This dessert immediately did not taste good and I did not eat anything else. Apparently you are not allowed to criticize something that does not taste good at all and that something else was not offered as compensation. Nor was anything done to take it to the kitchen to taste whether what I commented on might be correct. I think this was a very bad turn and we left immediately. We have eaten with you many times because we like the concept. However, I feel that I have now been treated poorly and not in a customer-friendly manner!

It's been a long time since I've been here and they have changed the concept to shared dining. Something you have to love. It would be worth it if the price-quality ratio was also good, but I think €11 for 4 pieces of meat is really overly expensive. Location is nice and service is friendly. Nowadays the outside part is covered and it was really warm inside. Nice for once but personally not worth it.

You pay a lot for dishes and there is very little to eat. You literally can't fill a hollow tooth with it.

We had lunch there today (Sept 18), the food was delicious. The location is beautiful on the water. What was a bit of a downer was that the young man who served our drinks and food had terribly dirty nails and was constantly running his hands through his hair.

Ordered bitterballen, both meat and vegetarian. The latter were indefinable in terms of filling and the others were simply unappetizing. A Gin Tonic with fruit is almost always tasty, but small pieces from the freezer are not done. And it would be nice if people who do not want to sit in cigarette smoke were also taken into account outside. Clearing tables took a very long time. Taking orders, on the other hand, went smoothly.

Have a drink with a snack board. Beautiful location right on the water. We are on holiday and will definitely be back next week.

Lovely place to eat or drink coffee. You can sit outside and inside. You can look straight out onto the Drontermeer. There is an escape room.

Either there was no service or it was very slow. Ordered two salads for lunch. On the plate we found a few lettuce leaves, 2 cherry tomatoes, a lot of dressing and lukewarm cheese. For a meal salad, it is the leanest we have ever been served. Price is high and quality is sad. Too bad because the location is great!

Wat een uitstekende service van At Sea! We waren met ons gezin van 5 personen aan het kanoën op het water voor At Sea en wilden naar At Sea toe om even wat te kunnen drinken en voor een sanitaire stop. Helaas sloeg onze kano om en kwamen de dame en heren van At Sea ons heel snel redden. Gelukkig kunnen we het allemaal navertellen. Maar wat een vreselijke ervaring was dit en wat zijn we enorm goed geholpen door oplettende gasten van At Sea die ons gezien hadden en de medewerkers van At Sea. Na een warme douche en een heerlijke lunch konden we met een lachend gezicht ons dag voortzettend! Echt een aanrader om naar toe te gaan voor een lunch, diner, bruiloft of camping bezoek.

For the price I thought the food was mediocre. The small snacks are also really small. If you are a big eater you better not eat here because then you will lose a fortune. For the not so big eaters like me, it is certainly fun for once. The ambiance is great!

We were always very satisfied with At Sea, but the prices are now becoming very ridiculous. I understand that everything is becoming more expensive, but 6.50 for a fairly ordinary specialty beer is not worth anything and 7.50 for 6 bitterballen is no longer fun. Paid 20 euros for a wine, beer and portion of bitterballen. We'll skip a drink next time.

We went yesterday with 3 people, good to mention 3 people from different households and all 3 ordered something different. Service was fine and location was nice too. Food was honestly not good. All three of us had stomach problems in the evening, this cannot be a coincidence.

Top location with mediocre food! The service was good! It was well explained what shared dining is. It is very nice to have a drink. If they improve the menu and the food, it can really become a top restaurant! P.s the teriyaki chicken is really not tasty, please take it off the menu. The shashimi (tuna) was tasty.

The management and the kitchen completely ruin this house. A great location right on the lake, friendly staff, modern, beautiful furnishings. But just don’t order anything to eat!! Then it gets scary: A simple, small burger for an outrageous 19 euros. A Caesar salad that isn't a salad: The chicken is ice cold, the bacon is ice cold, there is only green salad, nothing else, there is no bread. God the righteous! This doesn't work like that in Germany or the Netherlands.

Zaterdag, mooie dag. Wilden buiten zitten (gereserveerd) maar erg luide herriemuziek (vooral boemboem en constant). Toch maar naar binnen, maar dat hielp niet veel. Scharde dining werd uitgelegd (hoewel we daarvoor niet komen), maar kleine porties delen werkt dus niet. Ze zeggen dus dat je meerdere gerechten dan moet bestellen, maar dat spekt vooral de kassa. Behoorlijk prijzig die opzet. Voor het eten zou ik evenwel terugkomen, door die herriemuziek zeker niet.

Beautiful location, the lunch was delicious, we think the dinner was a bit less, but that could also have been a snapshot. Reheated, microwaved and overpriced.

Unfortunately, they now only have shared dining there. To be honest, I'm not very fond of that. Prices are quite expensive and the dishes are not very large, but that is the concept. Next time somewhere else. Quality and friendliness are top notch.

What a beautiful place to enjoy the view, the atmosphere, the delicious food and drinks and not to forget the great attention to the guests. In one word TOP!!!

Fantastic location directly on the Drontermeer. Beautiful menu according to the "shared dining" concept: choose a few dishes that you then share. While eating you can enjoy the view over the Drontermeer, but also the cozy modern interior of this restaurant. In addition to the menu, careful thought has also been given to the lighting of the restaurant. Using LED light (Philips Hue??) they create a breathtaking ambiance at At Sea: beautiful soft neon-like light in all kinds of facets. The lighting fixtures on the ceiling and a life-size light-framed replica of The Night Watch on the wall also make this restaurant a pleasure for the eyes. What styling, respect! Visited for the first time but certainly not the last time. Highly recommended!

Had to wait a very long time for drinks a few times, the food was very tasty but the tables where you sit are very small so it is quite a bit of a hassle if you are eating with 4 people. Maybe as a tip. Larger tables would really be much more comfortable. We put our drinks on the floor, etc. The staff was friendly. And beautiful view.

It was warm and we ordered Iced Coffee. It was indeed coffee (small amount) with 5 ice cubes and some whipped cream. No soft ice cream or ice cream or anything like that in it. Shame.
