De Rede van Dronten in Wijk 03 Dronten Midden

We went to De Rede for drinks on Monday afternoon. We were the second table, and it took ages for them to come! We ordered snacks and nachos! The cheese soufflés had no cheese left, and the nachos were a solid block of concrete, and you couldn't eat a single piece. Something was said about it, but it took a long time to find a solution! We're not happy with the lack of prices on the menu, and the service is poor.

Has it changed hands? Had ordered drinks had to wait half an hour for them! Had to ask for menu card which was almost thrown on the table! The table was not clean and the toilets were filthy! Ugh yuck your appetite goes away. Been coming for a long time but this was the last time!!!

We had a schnitzel here last night and I ordered a mojito. I think the real cocktail shaker was on break at that moment because this mojito of €10,- was made with a little prosecco and sparkling water. Not okay for that price and let alone taste because that is absolutely not how you make a mojito. I sent it back and the lady did take it off the receipt. So thanks for that. The coffee with something nice for that price was also very disappointing. It was a box with a few coffee beans and 2 nougat sweets wrapped in paper. Schnitzel was okay. Quite a big piece what you get. It is more personal whether you like very salty, because my husband and I thought it was way too salty while we really like a nice piece of schnitzel. We sat outside, the atmosphere was not there. The ladies serving were friendly but the waiter who could not make cocktails had a really pleasant attitude. I'm definitely not a vinegar pisser, but unfortunately the price-quality ratio was poor.

Tafel gereserveerd en moesten 15 minuten wachten aan de bar. Er werd niet gevraagd voor een drankje. Aan Tafel hebben we 20 minuten moeten wachten om bestelling door te geven. Zo druk was het niet om 20 uur. Na hoofdgerecht gevraagd om dessertkaart. Na 15 minuten niets, serveerster stond met collega's te kletsen. We stonden op om af te gaan rekenen en toen verontschuldigde de serveerster zich, te laat voor ons. Al met al een eenmalige teleurstellende ervaring in Dronten.

Went to eat at De Rede with 4 people. We waited 2 hours for our main course. This meant there was no time left for a desert due to other appointments outside the home. The food was mediocre and had to be eaten in a hurry due to the extremely long wait. We will not return because of this.

The food was good to eat. Tasty. Only it took 3 hours before we were done. Booked at 6:00 PM and left the tent at 9:00 PM. The rest of the food was tasty. You could park nearby and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommended if you like long waits. The Dutch triffel is highly recommended and was perfect.

Ate here last Friday, the food is definitely worth the 5 stars, delicious tartare as an appetizer and pastured beef as a main course with delicious smoked garlic gravy. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was very bad, we were seated in the right-back section right next to the toilets. There was no atmosphere at all and it was stone cold. Service from the waitress was also excellent, although we had to wait a very long time for the main course after the starter had finished. Only after an hour did the main course arrive... It is especially unfortunate that the host who did the reception did not bother to greet you at all upon entering and upon leaving the best man looked at us for a moment, but there was no way of saying thank you or have a nice evening.. All in all, you can enjoy delicious food here, but don't expect a pleasant evening in terms of atmosphere.

Food was very disappointing. Large meal salad too much salmon and mayonnaise, didn't radiate a healthy meal salad unfortunately. Location and service fine and friendly!

Nice restaurant and delicious food

High tea for 6 people on Sunday afternoon (2.15 pm). Cozy restaurant and excellent parking space within a 3-minute walk. High tea was ok. although a little more emphasis could be placed on "savory" instead of "sweet". On the other hand, a glass of soup with a small croquette sandwich and truffle mayonnaise beforehand looks beautiful and tastes delicious. Service could be more attentive and friendly: the service ladies could pay more attention to customers in the restaurant instead of chatting a lot with each other, so that gesturing customers were hardly noticed. A time of 2.5 hours has been scheduled for high tea. Then it is "not done" to ask twice if you have finished eating (after more than an hour and a half and the dishes are empty) and say that they need the table for dinner. Not a friendly face when clearing the table and asking if everything was to your liking. In any case, this is not "service with a smile", maybe they didn't have their (Sun) day? 🤔

Nice place to have dinner, lunch or a nice drink. Very nice service and there is always a nice active atmosphere. The Egg Benedict is definitely recommended

We went by spontaneously and to our surprise there was enough space, while it is normally always packed. For lunch we both chose a grilled cheese sandwich and shared a portion of sweet potato fries. The food was, as always, of top quality! The price-quality ratio is certainly decent, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. A nice place with good food. We will definitely come back!

After a few hours of shopping I finally ended up in Dronten and discovered this very nice shop! Good service with ditto kitchen. Extra plus... open kitchen where the chef does not shy away from talking to the guests! Will definitely come back again, but first visit the branch in Lelystad Haven😉

Twee maal de heerlijke uiensoep besteld.... Echter was het bakje voor maar 35% gevuld in die van mijn partner zat net iets meer in. Aangegeven bij de ober die zei dat het werdt afgewogen.... Dus ze liegen ook nog of behandelen mij alsof ik achterlijk ben. Kom op jongens voor wat water en uien vragen jullie steeds meer en meer en jullie geven minder en minder. We kwamen o zo vaak, dit gaan we echt beduidend minder doen. Jammer.

Lief personeel maar wat een instinkende…geen prijzen op de drankenkaart zetten portie friet 6 euro zoutkorrels het allemaal wel aan.

Had delicious pasture beef as a main course. Very tastefully prepared with crispy vegetables. Well served on the plate. Had a spinach for dessert. Surprisingly with a bowl of fire with which you can heat the marshmallows. Conclusion: good new card. Definitely come back again

Asked for extra cassava chips, this was apparently only possible for an extra amount of €5 for a small bowl. Not very customer friendly. Service from the staff is good.

Had a delicious high tea. Even though we had not indicated a dietary requirement, it was still taken into account. Friendly service.

Delicious onion soup. Too bad there is no spread for the bread. Carpaccio salad is very good and a lot. A well-filling meal salad. The small glass of wine is on the pricey side. Friendly service and good atmosphere. They also take the theater's starting time into account.

Always well organised, food is good and so is the staff. Reservations are not always necessary, but recommended

Nice, attractive restaurant on the large square in the center of Dronten, where you can also enjoy a cup of coffee and something tasty. Good, friendly service and good parking nearby.

After assigning the seat, no one came to pick up the order. After waiting 20 minutes we went to the bar and asked if they wanted to take the order. Then we waited another 10 minutes, but no one came. Because of this we decided to go to another restaurant.

We ordered a tuna and salmon salad with bread. I could have made more of that myself. Suggestion: do not use a ready-made salad with a lettuce leaf, but for example with some smoked salmon or other fresh fish, a sprig of dill, a tomato... that improves the presentation and taste.

We had dinner here two weeks ago and we really enjoyed it. We had eaten at De Rede in Lelystad before and the offering was actually the same. As a starter we had a 'Plate to Share' which states that it is for two to three people. It is certainly for three people, so it is way too much for two people as a starter. Tip to De Rede: make a choice for two or three people (with a related price). As a main course I had the 'fish from the harbour' and it was excellent (a plaice) and my partner had the Sea Bass, also excellent. Even though the starter was 'huge', we also ordered something delicious for desert. These portions were also on the large side for us, but very tasty. So all in all, a delicious meal and you really get value for your money. The staff was also very friendly.

We had a lovely time outside on the terrace. The food was very good. Good fresh carpaccio that was not overloaded with sauce so you could taste the meat well and salads were also very good. Definitely recommended if you want a nice bite to eat in Dronten.

First time eating. Assessment is therefore for this one time. Very nice restaurant. Good service, nice prepared meals. Spare ribs super tender and a lot of meat. I personally missed the marinade, it was applied very little, which could really be a bit more generous (now I really have to use the garlic sauce and I normally never do that). Other dishes were very tasty. Shrimp also great. Dessert very good.

Voor een verjaardag gezeten. Wordt alcohol geschonken aan twee zwangere vrouwen en kind van 6, terwijl er expliciet mocktails zijn besteld. Klacht bij Wilma neergelegd. Hierbij nooit gevraagd om Een te goed bon, maar een waarschuwing om alert erop te zijn met alcohol schenken en geen jonge meiden alcohol te laten schenken!! Nooit meer reactie gehad van Wilma na meerdere malen contact legging. Heel onbeschoft bejegent tijdens confrontatie in de Rede en dat ons eigen schuld was dat communicatie uitblijft, want dit is hoe zij werken en waardoor er geen tegoed bon gegeven wordt, terwijl er nooit gevraagd is naar een tegoedbon van 10 euro. Heel kwalijk voor ongeboren baby’s en kinderen. Punt was om alert te zijn. Fouten worden gemaakt, maar gaat om de manier hoe er nadien gehandeld wordt. Wilma is erg onbeschoft, niet klant vriendelijk en werkt niet oplossingsgericht, komt geen beloftes na en is ongemanierd naar klanten. Erg kwalijke gang van zaken.

Had lunch on the terrace on Mother's Day. Farmer's brown bread with very rich and tasty toppings of brie and mango chutney. More than filling my appetite. Pleasant experience.

There are more and more people working with a bad attitude who suddenly can laugh when the manager comes near. The food has suddenly gone from super good and tasty to dry and often less tasty. This is something I am not used to from reason.

Our wine and pairing nibbled was a masterpiece and the desserts are a must-try. The customer service was very kind and professional.

Wat een gezellig restaurant, mooie aankleding hoge en lage tafels, uitsmijter met parmaham enkels was erg origineel, heerlijk en stond snel op tafel! En vriendelijke bediening, kortom wij hebben genoten!

Nice lunch menu, also on Sundays. Food was good and certainly not too little. The staff was not very sharp that day, but not unfriendly.

Unsociable and we did not feel welcome. The tent was still completely full when we entered. Apparently they wanted to close down...

Had a nice drink and then something to eat. I had a large sandwich and it was served in a metal basket and it was not very pleasant to eat, so we asked for a plate.

Cozy restaurant where we enjoyed a nice lunch. Because we only had about an hour to have lunch with a group of ten people, we placed our orders by telephone more than 45 minutes in advance with the request to prepare it as if. Unfortunately, we didn't get our food until we had already been in the restaurant for 45 minutes. Calling in advance was therefore of no use, despite the agreement about this. So the service could use some attention, also because it was immediately requested and nothing could be done. Furthermore, delicious fresh tea and many different choices in sandwiches and/or salad.

I recently made a reservation for lunch for a group of 11 people at noon. Because we had other appointments, I passed on what everyone wanted to order at half past 12 so that we could have lunch on time. Even though I had already placed all orders at half past twelve, the food was not served until around a quarter to one, which meant that some people had to eat their food quickly. I won't be eating here again with a large group anytime soon.

Ik kom hier regelmatig en altijd klopt het. Kwaliteit van het eten is constant en altijd goed, heerlijk eten en goed op smaak en de bediening is zeer goed op orde, net en vriendelijk personeel. Geregeld nieuwe gerechten op de menukaart en er is voor een ieder wat wils, maar de klassiekers die blijven er ook op, gelukkig.

Geweldige locatie, voor een prachtig feest! Het de Rede team weet hoe ze een feest kunnen bouwen en faciliteerde alles tot in de puntjes!! Zo erg zout, eerste keer toch ober verteld dat het eten erg zout was. Ook niet gegeten. Zou opnieuw mijn eten krijgen. Service is goed. Helaas wat ik daarna kreeg ( had ook andere saus erbij genomen) was nog erger. Dacht dat het aan mij lag maar ook mijn partner vond het verschrikkelijk zout. Werd er misselijk van ook niet meer gegeten. Voor de 1 is het lekker. Helaas voor mij niet. Ober vond het rot. Echt service is top daar. Daar ligt het niet aan. Tja eten ...ik zal niet meer daar heen gaan.

Hier lekker gegeten met familie. Vriendelijke en vlotte bediening. Een compacte menukaart, maar voor ons met voldoende keuze. Reserveren vooraf is verstandig.

Prima gegeten in de kas midden op het plein. Het personeel is vriendelijk en correct. Dat alles tegen een redelijke prijs.

Altijd lekker eten en goede service hier, een begrip in Dronten en dat is niet voor niets.

Zeer zeer slecht. We werden gewoon vergeten nadat onze bestelling opgenomen was, terwijl ze ons zagen. Uiteindelijk weggegaan en we kregen eigenlijk geen Sorry. Ik heb ze gemaild,maar geen reactie. Dus opnieuw een zeer slechte recensie. Alsjeblieft!

Niks sprong eruit maar er was ook niets op aan te merken. Dit is zo’n restaurant dat goed georganiseerd is, goed eten voorzet, maar iets meer lef zou kunnen gebruiken. Anderzijds is het ook fijn om no-nonsense lekker te kunnen eten!

Ondanks reservering moeten wachten op tafel, langwachten op opnemen van drankje, eten duurde meer dan een uur voor het op tafel kwam en het was ook niet lekker. Pre fab, weinig nootjes en kaas in de salade. Wij komen hier niet weer.

Gezellig restaurant en prima kaart.

Heerlijk op het terras gezeten. We werden vriendelijk en gastvrij geholpen. Het Redeplein nodigt nu uit om gezellig er drankje te doen. Het leeft nu. De fontein is een echte aanwinst.

Afgelopen weekend gegeten. Het duurde erg lang, het eten was niet zoals verwacht en de bediening ging met ons in discussie. Voor het lange wachten kregen wij een gratis drankje, vandaar twee sterren ipv één.

Voordat wij zijn verhuisd zijn naar omgeving Utrecht zijn we regelmatig bij de rede geweest om te eten en het was 1 van onze favorieten hier in de omgeving, goede keuken, fijne kaart, mooie gerechten,echte aanrader.. Weer een keer terug dachten we, helaas is de kwaliteit van het eten echt veel minder geworden dan dat het was.. echt jammer. Eten zag er prima uit, was op smaak maar de patat was heel slap, hamburger was te ver doorgebakken(word ook niet meer gevraagd hoe je hem gebakken wilt) varkenshaas was ook te ver doorbakken. Service was prima, er werd vaak gevraagd of je nog wat wou drinken en bediening was vriendelijk.
