No attention for guests. The food was delicious, but we had to wait endlessly for drinks, clearing tables, and the bill. Despite the tasty food, definitely not worth repeating.

Although I ate there a few months ago, I am writing the review now anyway. De Rede used to be a good restaurant and "the place to be," but things have changed since then. Upon entering, we found a heavily occupied regulars' table with noisy local business owners, including the owner. It happens, but when you have guests, it is nice to let them dine in peace. After some time, we were served and ordered a steak with fries from the menu, which was varied in itself. Medium well done, please. We received our order, and unfortunately, the steak was still very rare. The plate went back to the kitchen, and to my surprise, I got my plate back with... the old, still just as red steak! There were also old, previously fried fries with it, and that was the end of it; I ate it and left. I reported it to the manager, who found it all very unpleasant, but that was all. Bad. I took photos because otherwise it would look like badmouthing, but that is not the case here. Their reaction doesn't surprise me at all; no apologies, just simply "too long ago." Yes, a few months... disappointing, just like the dinner.

Good food, friendly service. One of the dishes was vegetarian, and that dish was also very tasty. It would be nice if you could choose a little more fresh vegetables to add to a dish.

The tastiest fries and carpaccio

Cozy restaurant, quite extensive choices, friendly service, delicious food, lunch menu was decent, delicious asparagus soup.

I found the food not very special and unimaginative. The atmosphere was good and the service was fine.

Ordered lunch: farmer's brown bread with aged cheese looked good, but the bread was just plain old! Really not tasty! After mentioning it, I was told it had been sliced ​​this morning! I replied that it was old anyway and that that was simply unacceptable! Very disappointing.

A huge letdown. After five attempts, the kitchen was still unable to serve a medium steak; it remained raw meat. Offering a three-euro drink as compensation for a main course of €37 is laughable and shows little respect for the customer. The waiters were incredibly friendly and tried to salvage the situation, but received no support whatsoever from the kitchen or the manager. The latter didn't even show up. A low point in terms of service and quality.

I can't say much more than amazing; the food isn't my taste, but I do think many people will like it.

My two starters from the new menu were tasty: the tuna and certainly the duck burrata. But the spareribs were frankly one of the worst we have ever had. Tasteless; only the glaze had any flavor. Otherwise, the meat was tasteless. We went back to the kitchen, but in short, this is just how they make it. It remains inconsistent, after all. One is good, the other not worth repeating. Tuna dishes are always good, including the tuna with noodles.

I've eaten here often, but lately it's been a bit down. This time I ordered the spareribs, but what a disappointment. Tasteless; I left more than half of them. I mentioned this when the waiter asked if everything was to our liking. He took them back to the kitchen, but they indicated that there was nothing wrong with them. Fine, tastes differ, but for me—and I've eaten quite a few spareribs in my life—these were the worst.

We ate at the Italian place. The pizzas are a bit greasy but taste good.

Our granddaughter treated us to dinner, and we chose this restaurant. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We will definitely come back here again.

It is a really nice location right in the center of Dronten. It is a busy place, but very welcoming for dining, and the way everything is divided into different areas is a very nice idea. Furthermore, the food is delicious, the portions are large, and it is delivered quickly. The staff really have an eye for detail and wear very nice work uniforms. We will definitely be back here sometime. 😉

What a fantastic restaurant this is. Friendly, helpful staff. Good, tender cuts of meat. Delicious white fries. Great atmosphere and good prices! I was pleasantly surprised.

I've eaten at De Rede many times, especially for lunch. The carpaccio sandwich was always a favorite, but this time it wasn't rich in carpaccio, but far too much lettuce. It was almost like a Wisentbos sandwich. They mentioned it, but nothing was done about it. Furthermore, the service wasn't exactly hospitable. (Luckily, the service changed later, by the way.) It's not what it used to be. It's a shame, and I'll skip it next time...

I come here for lunch regularly, but today the service was particularly impressive thanks to a new employee (Zoe). She's incredibly sociable, approachable, and clearly customer-focused. Everything went with a smile and genuine attention! A real asset!

Highly recommended, had a delicious meal with colleagues, venison steak and then Dubai ice cream, delicious, definitely again until next time.

De Rede: eerst altijd een ongedwongen sfeertje, waar je best goed kunt eten. Maar na een tijdje niet meer bij De Rede geweest te zijn viel het me tijdens mijn laatste bezoek toch enigszins tegen. Een interieur dat niet netjes is, plakkerig tafel, ongetraind super jong personeel, de armoedige presentatie van het eten en de cappuccino leek wel afwaswater. Kom op De Rede: jullie kunnen dit beter. Het management moet veel meer oog voor detail krijgen en het personeel fatsoenlijk opleiden.

We went to De Rede for drinks on Monday afternoon. We were the second table, and it took ages for them to come! We ordered snacks and nachos! The cheese soufflés had no cheese left, and the nachos were a solid block of concrete, and you couldn't eat a single piece. Something was said about it, but it took a long time to find a solution! We're not happy with the lack of prices on the menu, and the service is poor.

Has it changed hands? Had ordered drinks had to wait half an hour for them! Had to ask for menu card which was almost thrown on the table! The table was not clean and the toilets were filthy! Ugh yuck your appetite goes away. Been coming for a long time but this was the last time!!!

We had a schnitzel here last night and I ordered a mojito. I think the real cocktail shaker was on break at that moment because this mojito of €10,- was made with a little prosecco and sparkling water. Not okay for that price and let alone taste because that is absolutely not how you make a mojito. I sent it back and the lady did take it off the receipt. So thanks for that. The coffee with something nice for that price was also very disappointing. It was a box with a few coffee beans and 2 nougat sweets wrapped in paper. Schnitzel was okay. Quite a big piece what you get. It is more personal whether you like very salty, because my husband and I thought it was way too salty while we really like a nice piece of schnitzel. We sat outside, the atmosphere was not there. The ladies serving were friendly but the waiter who could not make cocktails had a really pleasant attitude. I'm definitely not a vinegar pisser, but unfortunately the price-quality ratio was poor.

Tafel gereserveerd en moesten 15 minuten wachten aan de bar. Er werd niet gevraagd voor een drankje. Aan Tafel hebben we 20 minuten moeten wachten om bestelling door te geven. Zo druk was het niet om 20 uur. Na hoofdgerecht gevraagd om dessertkaart. Na 15 minuten niets, serveerster stond met collega's te kletsen. We stonden op om af te gaan rekenen en toen verontschuldigde de serveerster zich, te laat voor ons. Al met al een eenmalige teleurstellende ervaring in Dronten.

A great cafe with large portions.

Went to eat at De Rede with 4 people. We waited 2 hours for our main course. This meant there was no time left for a desert due to other appointments outside the home. The food was mediocre and had to be eaten in a hurry due to the extremely long wait. We will not return because of this.

The food was good to eat. Tasty. Only it took 3 hours before we were done. Booked at 6:00 PM and left the tent at 9:00 PM. The rest of the food was tasty. You could park nearby and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommended if you like long waits. The Dutch triffel is highly recommended and was perfect.

Ate here last Friday, the food is definitely worth the 5 stars, delicious tartare as an appetizer and pastured beef as a main course with delicious smoked garlic gravy. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was very bad, we were seated in the right-back section right next to the toilets. There was no atmosphere at all and it was stone cold. Service from the waitress was also excellent, although we had to wait a very long time for the main course after the starter had finished. Only after an hour did the main course arrive... It is especially unfortunate that the host who did the reception did not bother to greet you at all upon entering and upon leaving the best man looked at us for a moment, but there was no way of saying thank you or have a nice evening.. All in all, you can enjoy delicious food here, but don't expect a pleasant evening in terms of atmosphere.

Nice restaurant and delicious food

High tea for 6 people on Sunday afternoon (2.15 pm). Cozy restaurant and excellent parking space within a 3-minute walk. High tea was ok. although a little more emphasis could be placed on "savory" instead of "sweet". On the other hand, a glass of soup with a small croquette sandwich and truffle mayonnaise beforehand looks beautiful and tastes delicious. Service could be more attentive and friendly: the service ladies could pay more attention to customers in the restaurant instead of chatting a lot with each other, so that gesturing customers were hardly noticed. A time of 2.5 hours has been scheduled for high tea. Then it is "not done" to ask twice if you have finished eating (after more than an hour and a half and the dishes are empty) and say that they need the table for dinner. Not a friendly face when clearing the table and asking if everything was to your liking. In any case, this is not "service with a smile", maybe they didn't have their (Sun) day? 🤔

Nice place to have dinner, lunch or a nice drink. Very nice service and there is always a nice active atmosphere. The Egg Benedict is definitely recommended

We went by spontaneously and to our surprise there was enough space, while it is normally always packed. For lunch we both chose a grilled cheese sandwich and shared a portion of sweet potato fries. The food was, as always, of top quality! The price-quality ratio is certainly decent, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. A nice place with good food. We will definitely come back!

After a few hours of shopping I finally ended up in Dronten and discovered this very nice shop! Good service with ditto kitchen. Extra plus... open kitchen where the chef does not shy away from talking to the guests! Will definitely come back again, but first visit the branch in Lelystad Haven😉

Twee maal de heerlijke uiensoep besteld.... Echter was het bakje voor maar 35% gevuld in die van mijn partner zat net iets meer in. Aangegeven bij de ober die zei dat het werdt afgewogen.... Dus ze liegen ook nog of behandelen mij alsof ik achterlijk ben. Kom op jongens voor wat water en uien vragen jullie steeds meer en meer en jullie geven minder en minder. We kwamen o zo vaak, dit gaan we echt beduidend minder doen. Jammer.

Had delicious pasture beef as a main course. Very tastefully prepared with crispy vegetables. Well served on the plate. Had a spinach for dessert. Surprisingly with a bowl of fire with which you can heat the marshmallows. Conclusion: good new card. Definitely come back again

Asked for extra cassava chips, this was apparently only possible for an extra amount of €5 for a small bowl. Not very customer friendly. Service from the staff is good.

Nice, attractive restaurant on the large square in the center of Dronten, where you can also enjoy a cup of coffee and something tasty. Good, friendly service and good parking nearby.

After assigning the seat, no one came to pick up the order. After waiting 20 minutes we went to the bar and asked if they wanted to take the order. Then we waited another 10 minutes, but no one came. Because of this we decided to go to another restaurant.

We ordered a tuna and salmon salad with bread. I could have made more of that myself. Suggestion: do not use a ready-made salad with a lettuce leaf, but for example with some smoked salmon or other fresh fish, a sprig of dill, a tomato... that improves the presentation and taste.

We had dinner here two weeks ago and we really enjoyed it. We had eaten at De Rede in Lelystad before and the offering was actually the same. As a starter we had a 'Plate to Share' which states that it is for two to three people. It is certainly for three people, so it is way too much for two people as a starter. Tip to De Rede: make a choice for two or three people (with a related price). As a main course I had the 'fish from the harbour' and it was excellent (a plaice) and my partner had the Sea Bass, also excellent. Even though the starter was 'huge', we also ordered something delicious for desert. These portions were also on the large side for us, but very tasty. So all in all, a delicious meal and you really get value for your money. The staff was also very friendly.

We had a lovely time outside on the terrace. The food was very good. Good fresh carpaccio that was not overloaded with sauce so you could taste the meat well and salads were also very good. Definitely recommended if you want a nice bite to eat in Dronten.

First time eating. Assessment is therefore for this one time. Very nice restaurant. Good service, nice prepared meals. Spare ribs super tender and a lot of meat. I personally missed the marinade, it was applied very little, which could really be a bit more generous (now I really have to use the garlic sauce and I normally never do that). Other dishes were very tasty. Shrimp also great. Dessert very good.

Voor een verjaardag gezeten. Wordt alcohol geschonken aan twee zwangere vrouwen en kind van 6, terwijl er expliciet mocktails zijn besteld. Klacht bij Wilma neergelegd. Hierbij nooit gevraagd om Een te goed bon, maar een waarschuwing om alert erop te zijn met alcohol schenken en geen jonge meiden alcohol te laten schenken!! Nooit meer reactie gehad van Wilma na meerdere malen contact legging. Heel onbeschoft bejegent tijdens confrontatie in de Rede en dat ons eigen schuld was dat communicatie uitblijft, want dit is hoe zij werken en waardoor er geen tegoed bon gegeven wordt, terwijl er nooit gevraagd is naar een tegoedbon van 10 euro. Heel kwalijk voor ongeboren baby’s en kinderen. Punt was om alert te zijn. Fouten worden gemaakt, maar gaat om de manier hoe er nadien gehandeld wordt. Wilma is erg onbeschoft, niet klant vriendelijk en werkt niet oplossingsgericht, komt geen beloftes na en is ongemanierd naar klanten. Erg kwalijke gang van zaken.
