Plenty of space but closed off, very unfortunate. And on a Sunday at that!!! In high season. Response: I am not saying you were closed; there was still plenty of space, but a large part of your terrace was closed.

36 degrees but we sat comfortably under a covered terrace. (Wedding) Our niece and nephew's party, a lunch, so delicious. We received a glass of champagne with soup, a choice of mustard or tomato soup. Afterwards, a beautiful, tasty buffet with a bit of everything. Truly a top location and the service was top-notch too. Friendly, and you couldn't go thirsty because they came by every time. Yes, this was a great success. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a successful, delicious lunch.

Service started out acceptable. By the end of our meal, we got stuck over 45 minutes with 4 meals worth of dirty dishes on our table. All empty tables around us were cleaned. We were flatly ignored. My partner went to order dessert at the bar, which also never came.

The first time was great. The second time, the service was unfriendly and drinks were forgotten. I won't be coming back.

The restaurant is okay. The beach and the water are definitely not suitable for swimming...the water is less than 90 cm deep.

It was all very black inside. On top of that, the music was very noisy. The service was nice, but it seemed like one girl was doing everything and the rest were hanging behind the bar. The food was okay. The fried egg at lunchtime wasn't a fried egg and was cold.

Mother's Day Lunch. Was meant to be a special Mother’s Day treat from my children turned into a disappointing experience at Beach Club Nu. From the moment we arrived, the head waiter seemed unfriendly—so much so that I can only assume it was due to an instant dislike for us. The service was slow, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy, and it took a long time just to get our drinks. My goats cheese salad was another letdown. While it’s of course the restaurant’s prerogative what cheese is served in its salads and sandwiches, the thin slices on my salad were far from what I’ve come to expect—warm, thick slices of ripened cheese. For comparison, if my husband orders a Caesar salad with chicken, he receives fresh pieces of chicken, not sandwich slices. When I politely raised my concerns, the waiter was defensive rather than empathetic, pointing out that I hadn’t even tasted the salad yet and mentioning costs such as labor. As a business owner myself, I understand costs, but a few salad leaves are not comparable to meat or fish, and customer experience should always come first. Being rude and unhelpful is inexcusable, especially on a day meant to be special. The other dishes saté, ribs and mozzarella roll were ok. While the food may have potential, the attitude and poor service ruined what should have been a memorable celebration.

Normally, we are not quick to post a bad review but simply state verbally if something didn't suit us; however, I am making an exception this time. We visited here a few years ago, which was a pleasant experience. This time, on top of that, it was Mother's Day, but it was a disaster that started right upon arrival. The weather was slightly cooler than expected, so we wanted to sit inside. This wasn't possible because there had been a party and they were still cleaning. Of course, that was no problem at all, but our request was rejected with a sigh—not very polite... We ordered drinks and then some tasty lunch dishes; however, my wife's goat cheese salad was not what she had expected, and she wanted something else because of it. To give you a brief idea of ​​the salad: a small handful of lettuce with a few "slices of bread" goat cheese on top... I have never seen anything like it! This was simply unacceptable, especially for the price this salad is listed for on the menu. Our biggest problem was the way the same waiter handled this. He simply couldn't accept it at all and even said very rudely, "She didn't even taste it" and "I'm certainly not taking it off the bill." We were very surprised by his reaction, and after some haggling, we were able to get a 50 percent discount on a new dish. That was not what we were looking for at all; it is about a bit of understanding and a decent solution. Well, I'm sorry, but we have never experienced anything like this before. We eat out very often, and besides, we are not critical at all and never send anything back to the kitchen. Scandalous is the right description for this visit to Beachclub NU; very regrettable! We are very curious whether the manager of this establishment is aware of this rude employee.

Beautiful location by the water, unfortunately part of the terrace is closed off, resulting in few sunny spots. However, it is a large, neat terrace and tastefully decorated. Inside, there is also a nice, spacious area and an excellent menu. We ordered a soft drink and a nacho platter, and this was fine. There is enough parking behind the barrier now, but on summer days it is really too little for the restaurant; 15 I think. There is a large paid parking lot next to the beach, which is very large.

Quite pricey (13.50?), but I had a delicious, generously filled salmon sandwich here.

Had a delicious meal on a beautiful terrace. Pleasant and friendly service. Extensive menu and a bouncy castle for the kids. Unfortunately, there were some noisy people on the terrace, but of course, the restaurant can't do much about that.

Upon entering, you first have to go up a tap. Upstairs, you have a beautiful view of the lake. On a weekday, it is very quiet there for lunch. I did have a very tasty sandwich with smoked salmon, though.

We had an elaborate birthday lunch here. The acoustics are terrible. You feel like you're in a real chicken coop when you're with a lot of people, which is very annoying, and the toilets are very cramped; the doors cannot be opened simultaneously. I found it all a bit mediocre, even though I had higher expectations. We had a bread board as a starter, but this was just not quite enough for the number of people. The aioli was fries sauce (did we grab the wrong packaging?); the green pesto looked homemade but just wasn't quite. The soup and the other food lacked salt, but there was no salt to use, and by the time you found someone, you had already finished your meal. The sandwiches apparently all had different fillings, so you had no idea what you were actually picking up, resulting in some people getting a sandwich with something they didn't like. I found it annoying that you constantly had to search for the wait staff, and when asking what kind of beer they had, you were told they only had Heineken, while it later turned out they also had Vos beer. I also thought it was a shame that the coffee came from a thermos and that the tea arrived pre-made. Overall, it was actually quite fine, but with a few downsides. The omelet was tasty, and so were the bread rolls. Furthermore, the other dishes were fine too, but they just lacked salt. That is why I wouldn't be quick to host a party or come here for dinner myself. The surroundings, on the other hand, are beautiful. Update April 2026: Once again, the same experience. The food just isn't quite right, and personally, I really wouldn't host a party or go here for dinner. Once again, too little staff and not very friendly. I walked to the bar to ask for a tonic with ice. The tonic was at room temperature and the ice was already half melted. But the worst part is that it was just grabbed by hand instead of with a scoop. A lot of beer was being drunk, but because they were short, you got the largest glass they had so it wouldn't have to be run as much; they also didn't ask if that was okay, and you just got it. That was not desirable.

The soup was cold. There was a hair in the crème fraîche with the nachos. The tarte tatin (cookie) for dessert was far too soggy and tough. Overall, the food was poor quality.

We had a wedding there, and the food and drinks were excellent. Only the tables were rough on the underside. My wife got a hook on her pants, and my daughter has also heard from several people that the furniture wasn't all in good condition.

It's really annoying that you pay €5 to park, even though the venue is only open for a private party. The website/entrance indicated they were open, but once you arrived, you weren't allowed in. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time this has happened.

We were here with six adults and two small children. The ambiance was simply fantastic. Right on the water and with a large outdoor area. Both terraces were shaded by umbrellas or awnings. The interior is stylishly decorated. The service was friendly and attentive. All the adults had spare ribs, which were simply fantastic. Slow-cooked and with a great barbecue sauce. They were accompanied by crisp mixed vegetables and steakhouse fries. We received our food in a perfectly reasonable time, and the children's meals arrived at the same time. A good beer selection, as well as cocktails. Highly recommended.

On August 2, 2025, we made a reservation for dinner. We chose a surprise 5-course dinner, what a fantastic choice! We even had 7 courses. The service was excellent, very attentive. On July 4th, we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary here with a hot and cold buffet. We couldn't find any negatives. We had 60 guests, and we received positive feedback from everyone. The service, the welcome, the food, and the drinks were all excellent. We were fortunate, however, that the weather was beautiful and we were able to use the rooftop terrace.

Sitting there is beautiful. The food was also okay. There were just so many unbelievable creatures flying everywhere, and you couldn't get rid of them. It was like sitting in an ant nest. Disgusting! You couldn't eat without touching your face at least 20 times, without having to get them out of the food and drinks and off your body. It was an absolute disgrace.

What a beautiful venue! I was able to add my mobile cocktail bar to a wedding and I had such a wonderful time! The team, the venue, and the food were fantastic!

Restaurant and terrace no experience with. but the beach is just dirty. Bird droppings and a lot of plant remains. Could be cleaned.

On June 25, 2025, we organized a summer barbecue with TICNED at Beachclub NU – and what a great experience that was! With almost 200 guests, the bar was high, but everything went really smoothly. The Beachclub NU team had arranged everything down to the last detail. The food was better than expected: fresh, tasty and more than enough. Our guests praised the variety and the quality. The service was fast, friendly and professional – exactly what you want at a large event. The DJ felt the atmosphere perfectly and provided the right music all evening. The view of the beach and the stylish decor of the location gave the evening an extra touch. We received many compliments about the setting of our barbecue – and they are completely justified. This was not the last time we organized something at Beachclub NU. We would love to come back!

It's Saturday afternoon not even 2pm and they're closed? No mention of this anywhere, sad smiley face. Should be open from 11:30 to 21:00 according to Google Maps and official website.

Unfortunately the food was disappointing, we had a bowl of burnt fries, the chicken skewer was rolled through the satay, so I couldn't see any chicken. The chicken was more "glassy/greasy" and not tasty. Even the whipped cream with the ice cream seemed old and unappetizing, I didn't taste it anymore. Sorry and also the fresh juice, there was foam on it, the peel of the orange was tasteable and the bottom half was watery. I thought the accommodation was beautiful and the staff looked good too. Recently had a similar experience in another restaurant in Elburg. What's the reason? No idea, but eating out... my fun is a bit gone.

Wow, what an experience! My cousin celebrated his wedding here - from the dinner to the evening party, everything was taken care of down to the last detail. It was amazing! The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful, and there was more than enough food and drink on offer. The atmosphere was fantastic, and we all enjoyed ourselves immensely. I would definitely recommend this location to others. I am extremely satisfied!

On 2/5/2025 we celebrated our wedding party at Beachclub NU. Beautiful location on the water. Staff is friendly and we and our guests were well taken care of. We had a great party!

Overall it is a nice place and the food is excellent. Still, I would go to AtSea, because in terms of service and flexibility it is really terrible. There is no possibility to consult with the staff and they are not very friendly either.

I ordered a steak with fries. I started to eat but my sting was completely cold. A lady quickly came to solve the problem and returned within 2 minutes. I had already put a lot of fries on my plate but when I got my warm plate back there were no fries on it so I ordered half a portion of fries but I got one whole. I also had 4 tendons in 1 piece of steak and I didn't eat the others. One of us had also chosen a ravioli with spinach but there was no spinach. We did get a discount on the ravioli afterwards, but she thought it was a shame that there was no spinach. There was also a lot that was not available, such as their special ribs and the burger, which I thought was a shame. The fries were tasty but I paid way too much for what I got. It's a shame that it had to happen this way and I'm sure I won't be coming here again, which was a shame.

Didn't have a fantastic experience here. Service was very slow, took forever until we got our drinks and food. Even for the desserts we had to wait almost half an hour. Hot smoked salmon starter was good, tastier if the salmon were served slightly warm. Main courses very mediocre, I heard several complaints at the table. Entrecote was tough, schnitzel half cooked (way too thick), vegetables were cold and you really had to look for them on your plate. And why the parsnip puree?! The portion sizes also varied greatly: two bites of steak and a schnitzel from here to Tokyo. Fries were fine. The dish I wanted to have (ravioli) was not available that evening. Bruschetta is written incorrectly on the menu and the gnocchi is pronounced completely unintelligibly, so it was not clear at the table who this dish was for. The desserts, on the other hand, were very tasty and large portions. Good homemade limoncello, but it should have been stated on the menu that it was accompanied by a lemon curd tart (then I would have chosen that dessert instead of pastry...). No, I won't be coming back here unfortunately.

Actually 1 star is still too much!! We are not even allowed to take a seat... almost all tables are reserved but empty, in other places there are plenty of empty chairs, but we are not allowed to sit down 'because that does not fit into the cash register system'. As a final comment, we are told that we should have made a reservation. What a stupid policy. They'll never see us here again! Flexibility is zero. Less than zero apologies or consideration. They are clearly doing too well🥹

It does not say anywhere on the tables that they are reserved. If you sit down, you will be told "this table is reserved" and no other table available. So. without a reservation, you will be sent away without regret.

Last Friday we celebrated our entire wedding at NU and it was truly fantastic. The location is great, the food is great, service is great and the staff and owner Jelbert are super friendly, think along and have great communication. Everything is negotiable, we had such nice conversations, openly honest. At this location you are literally in the here and NOW... go here if you just want a pleasant, friendly, nice and above all delicious food and drink, if you want to throw a party, if you are getting married. Our experience was AMAZING! Thanks team!

Wash well, but please throw away the frying pans in 552. The pans are so damaged that they are poisonous. Tip: stainless steel frying pans require a little more work for the guests, but that is not your problem. We bought a frying pan. This way we don't get poisoned. And a little overdue maintenance.

Very nice place to have a drink and a meal. Too bad it was closed on the days we were at the beach. To keep the beach cleaner, the owner should put more waste containers on the beach. And limit the noise from brought-in sound systems, not everyone likes hardcore. But I understand that that doesn't work either.

We celebrated our wedding at Beachclub NU. Our wishes were well taken into account, the food was good, it looked nice and tidy, the staff was friendly and the party was fantastic with all the amenities that Beach Club NU has to offer. We always made time for us to discuss our wishes, physically and via email. We enjoyed it immensely and definitely recommend Beachclub NU for a fun party!

Here you can eat well, the vegetarian burger is tasty and filling as a big meal.

If you come from Elburg yourself and don't often think of having lunch or dinner here. Today we had lunch here while driving by. Again it was absolutely delicious! What was also striking were the 'low' prices. Had lunch for 2 of us for 30 euros and three drinks. The price-quality ratio is perfect. You won't be able to get this anywhere, especially not with the quality. We will be visiting here more often again. Absolutely recommended! 🤤

Beautiful terrace on the lake! Part of the terrace in the sun was closed, so unfortunately we had to wear sweaters in the shade. It was nice to know that they did this due to limited occupancy, we only heard this upon departure. Service was excellent as well as the food. We had a nice afternoon 👍🏻
