Baran Broodjeszaak in Wijk 37 Groente- en Fruitmarkt

Today I bought grilled chicken, and I wish I hadn't. The guy brought me yesterday's chicken, and the fresh chicken was still on the rotisserie spit. When I asked him if the chicken was fresh, he said yes, but I swear I'm going to throw it in the trash. I'm never going back there again.

It would be even better if there was cacık and melcan (a type of Turkish dessert) 😇

I had a really delicious meal at Baran Broodjeszaak. The food was fresh, well-seasoned, and the portions were great. The chicken dishes and the rice, in particular, were really flavorful. The food is always very tasty, they aren't stingy with ingredients, the gentleman and his wife are nice, it's prepared super fast and always tastes good. The only downside is that it doesn't always seem very hygienic inside, and unfortunately that takes away from the fun of eating on the spot. But the tastiest doner boxes of all of Hoefkade and a good price!!!!!

The restaurant is not open 24 hours a day, as stated on the website.

I buy kip curry with rice, but i got rice with kip curry... Too much of this rice.....

It is a very simple and affordable little eatery for sandwiches, mainly serving grilled items. It is small but neat and perfectly suitable for a quick bite. Definitely recommended!

Clean place. Delicious food and very affordable. An older man works there almost every day and he enjoys his work. I come here often, and you get your food quickly. We often get the chicken, which is always tender, döner, and the lamb rolls. Easy to get to too.

The worst meat I've ever eaten was döner. Rubbery meat. We didn't eat it, we threw it away.
