Most worthless shop ever, ordered 3 times and they still can't deliver. Delivery time 5:10 PM, then they call you up and say yes, can't deliver, pick-up only at 8 AM.

Tired from work and didn't cook, wanting to eat sushi from here placed my order and got called and canceled because of poor delivery services. No other options and guess what, still open and taking orders. Would have been nice if this was notified on your order display. 🙄 bad business and such a shame. Never again.

Definitely do not order from them. I ordered twice and both times they couldn't deliver it. First they said it would be later, and then they called to say it wasn't possible after all. Worthless company.

The sushi was tasty, but when we ordered, it said ASAP at 19:10. In the end, at 19:25, it still hadn't arrived, so we called. We were told that it would definitely be here within 10 minutes, but eventually, it didn't arrive until 20:00.

Ordered here for the first time, so enthusiastic that we are leaving a review right away. The sushi is *so* delicious! Called to ask what time we could expect the food, a friendly man on the phone and the delivery driver was also very friendly. But above all, the taste of the sushi makes this review 5 stars!

I placed an order for about €30 worth of sushi at 5:45 PM. Then I got a message that it wouldn't be delivered until 7:45 PM... And I could have just ordered 6:15 PM? I understand that when it's busy, it can be a bit late, but two hours later is a bit extreme in my opinion when you can order at home within 30 minutes. That's why I called to make sure everything was correct, but the person I spoke to seemed rather unfriendly and blamed me for ordering much earlier. I've ordered sushi from this restaurant many times before and never had any problems ordering around this time, so I was quite surprised.

I tried a lot of sushi in the Netherlands and everything was pretty bad compared to what I was used to before moving here. BUT Barracuda has surprised me. It was really delicious 😋 Upd: still really good! We tried other new places and returned here .

My order, which I had already paid for, was canceled by the owner. I had one missed call around 7:40 PM. I called back around 7:00 PM, and they said, "We don't have enough delivery drivers, we're closed now, you won't get any more sushi," and "you should have answered the phone." The owner also remarked strangely that it's common knowledge that you should answer the phone. They said pickup wasn't an option either, supposedly closed (though they did answer their own phone). What a disappointment; this is incredibly customer-unfriendly.

The food was delivered 35 minutes later than indicated when ordering. The person on the phone reacted very nonchalantly when I called to say they were late with the delivery. The food tasted great, but the sushi without seaweed fell apart when you picked it up with chopsticks. Don't order if you have to eat within a certain timeframe. Because of the way I was spoken to on the phone, we obviously won't be ordering from them again.

An adventurous soul when it comes to sushi, that's how I would describe myself. So, when the sushi craving struck, I decided to leave my fate in the hands of the experts. After an extensive internet search, wading through countless reviews, I came across Barracuda Sushi in Almelo, hailed as heaven on earth for sushi lovers. With high expectations I drove to Barracuda, ready to order a tasty selection of sushi for two people. I walked in, full of anticipation, and asked for a mix of their sushi. But what was I told? “We don't do that,” they said. I looked at the employee in bewilderment. Why not? At a restaurant you can also ask the chef to put together something tasty. The employee asked Bart again, we don't make a mix ourselves, do we? Apparently they had had too many complaints about the combination or taste of the sushi. With a surprised look I asked myself: "How? You also make boxes, right?" But no, to no avail. They suggested that I place the order via the website. As if that would suddenly make the sushi tastier! I tried to carefully explain that I am quite used to eating out. If something doesn't taste good, oh well, bad luck. Unless it's not fresh, of course! I just picked them because of all the great reviews. But alas, my argument fell on deaf ears. Disappointed, I walked off. Then back to the drawing board. Or rather, back to my phone. I continued my search via Thuisbezorgd, but one thing was certain: I would not order from Barracuda. Thank you, Barracuda, for this lesson in sushi etiquette. And thanks for pointing the way to another fantastic sushi restaurant. You really helped me!

What a pity the quality is really deteriorating!!! We hadn't placed an order here for a few months. Fancy sushi tonight and picked it up on site. What a disappointment, it was really inedible, the rice was dry, inside was chicken with what was supposed to be a crispy layer, this was a lump of breadcrumbs, too much sauce, tasteless. This way you lose your regular customers by cutting back on the quality of the ingredients.

The quality of the food is increasingly deteriorating. You will be treated very rudely on the phone and if they don't like it they will disconnect the connection. We will order elsewhere from now on.

Bartje now also sells delicious fresh sushi, definitely recommended. 2023 edit: No more kibbeling or gourmet food is sold, it is now mainly. Sushi. But top quality!

Day fresh fish ?? it doesn't taste like old, rotten sour fish. Ordered from friends after an hour and a half of nothing. Didn't smell very appetizing, sour taste. So the fish was no longer good and suffered food poisoning. It's nice if you have a large order and have eaten something that you then vomit and get diarrhea, stomach cramps, etc. So I won't steal anything here. There's fish on the sushi!

Sushi was tasty and nice that they delivered in Vriezenveen. I did think the €12 delivery costs were very high, and it was a pity that we still had to heat up the soy beans ourselves.

If you like sushi you should definitely eat here. The card is very surprising and contains many innovative combos. It was difficult to choose because the choice is huge. The sushi was already a picture to the eye, but the taste was truly heavenly. We really enjoyed every bite. Fresher than fresh and delicious flavor bombs that are a party in your mouth. The staff were very friendly and the owner clearly passionate about what he is doing! You can see that in the food! We will definitely come back!

Ordered kibbeling, €5.50 for a very small portion that tasted okay, not fresh. Couldn't eat inside, even though the restaurant part was empty? We had no ravigotte sauce with the kibbeling and no drinks to take with us. Bah

Ordered food at a quarter to 8 via home delivery, received confirmation that they have received my order and are working on it, but they will close at 8 o'clock. Delivery time 35-55 minutes, so you assume they will deliver. Half past 9 no message received yet so called a few times, phone not answered. Still haven't received anything at 9 o'clock.. It won't happen next time, but if necessary, call to make sure people can order somewhere else! New thing and bad thing at the same time :)

Placed an order with you for almost 80 euros, which firstly contained no soy sauce at all, which is of course a great shame. Once we received the order, we were curious how delicious it would be for you. (Often heard). Kibbeling was delicious, we are honest, but we had four rolls of sushi, 2 of which went straight into the trash. Very unusual but also had a nasty taste. I immediately contacted you, and I had to send an email with my complaint, which we think is a strange way to help customers further. But in short, not really helped and we were not really able to enjoy our evening meal. Too bad it has to be this way.

I give 4 stars for food but only 1 for service because I was told I'm not allowed to eat in unless I order sushi. I wanted to have a salad and haring but I was told I'm not allowed to eat in because of new rules. No wonder the local was empty at 5 o'clock in the afternoon. The customer is the king! Treat him like one.

Unfortunately no more fried fish or kibbeling, it was one of the better ones in Almelo. Many people very disappointed.

For the real Sushi lover, this is THE PLACE 2B!! We have eaten here a number of times and order regularly. They are good, clean, diverse and above all fresh and consistent! These people know how to make and present good sushi. Whether you eat at the bar or order it for home, it is simply great! Best Sushi in Almelo… The food at Barracuda is especially enjoyable. It's cozy and especially eating at the “bar” makes it fun! You see that the sushi is freshly prepared and you receive your sushi fresh on your plate while enjoying a nice drink and great music! In short, highly recommended!!

The boss is not very careful when it comes to hygiene. I'm also dropping out now. Shame. I would have liked it that if a container of sauce falls on the greasy floor, it is not returned to the bag of kibbles. Can't be true right? If I say something about that as a (regular and loyal) customer, I get a big mouth and I shouldn't complain!? The only correct response was a sorry apology and a new and clean container of sauce. Fried fish was undercooked. Kibbeling was greasy and had an aftertaste. Thick oliebollen batter... It didn't look fresh and it didn't smell good. Never again for me. Too bad because social media gives a completely different picture of this case. So you see that you shouldn't just assume that.

We receive a call that within an hour is not possible due to the crowds in the store..... But it is 3 hours later!!! Collection is possible... (Why would we order). Cancelled. Today I happened to visit Bartje's fish shop and wanted new herring with which the company scored highly. When I got home I devoured the delicacies and had nothing but praise for the taste and freshness. Delicious, but what a downer all those bones that were still there, it looked like they had been mechanically stripped of bones like those miserable cheap supermarket herrings. These two were probably not cleaned in the same way as during the test. I can't get higher than a 6 despite the flavor and freshness, but I do get a 9. Deserve. After half an hour I'm still pulling bones out of my teeth Pity. .
