Sushi Time in Wijk 10 Binnenstad

We ate there and the waiter accidentally knocked over plates and glasses, leaving us covered in wine and cola; also, my phone rolled onto the floor, causing the schedule to crack... that was supposed to be covered by insurance, they said they would contact me the next morning. After not hearing anything for a week, I decided to call anyway... "Yes, they are busy and it is the holidays, sir, but they are putting you on the contract, I will call again immediately tomorrow," but after being strung along for a month, I called and indicated that I really wanted my money and that I was coming by, and suddenly the money was ready... no insurance bullshit.... Just be honest, if you break something, just pay for it... After all, we pay properly when we have eaten (177 euros); the dry cleaning wasn't covered either... in short, good food, but if they make something dirty or wreck a customer's property, they are nowhere to be found... unfortunately, they aren't very hospitable either. I would just look elsewhere or drive on to another sushi bar. Absolutely NOT RECOMMENDED !!!!

The food quality was really bad. Not fresh and not very flavorful.

I often eat locally, always the same quality, and just had it delivered to my home, and the quality of the food is the same when it's served in the restaurant: thumbs up! Finally, a delivery restaurant that knows how to do it right!

The food is subpar. And there's a very rude girl working there who absolutely doesn't belong in the hospitality industry. We won't be back. A real joke.

I ordered food here, and it took over an hour to arrive. I greeted the delivery driver, but the woman at the door didn't say a word back, not even a hello or goodbye. She glared at me and simply handed me the food. It was truly strange.

The two of us had lunch on a Sunday afternoon. It was very quiet; we were the only customers. The restaurant didn't have much atmosphere; the chairs were stacked in the entrance hall, and coats were all piled up on the floor in the coat closet, even though we were the only guests in the restaurant. The food was fine, with plenty of rice with the sushi, which could have been a bit less. The fish was nice and fresh, though. The service was excellent. There were three employees in the restaurant, so as soon as we finished a plate, they were ready to collect it. The same goes for drinks; as soon as my bottle was emptied into my glass, they came to collect it and ask if I needed more. One of the ladies didn't speak Dutch and spoke limited English, but luckily that didn't affect the service. She was very friendly, though. Is it recommended? It's fine for sushi, and the hot dishes are also delicious.

Never again. A mess upon entering and a big mess on and behind the bar. Dirty cutlery is taken away from dirty dishes in front of your eyes and rinsed when you ask for it. Food tasteless, very salty. Dishes arrive much, much too late. Some don't come at all. We have been to quite a few tents but this one doesn't come close to anything. 1 star is too many.

Went here for dinner with my daughter on Wednesday evening and it was inedible. Restaurant was a real mess, music was broken, but above all the food, which was not edible, everything was old. First round left more than half of it, left 2nd round as well and went home. I did indicate that it was not tasty and the sushi was old, but little to no response. I would definitely NOT recommend this restaurant if you don't want to get sick because I wasn't feeling well from those few snacks all evening

We waren hier gisteren 4 oktober 2023 Ik was hier samen met me dochter Eerste ronde vond ik al niet geweldig meer als de helft niet opgegeten 2 e ronde 6 dingen besteld en meer als de helft laten staan net zoals de 1 e ronde. Hierna zijn we ook vertrokken bediening keek ons vreemd aan. Ze vroeg was het naar wens? Ik zei wilt u een beleefd of een eerlijk antwoord? Het eten was gewoon niet vers dat was ook zeer goed te proeven. Heel spijtig hele avond buikpijn gehad

The owner of this restaurant is a very strange woman, she is not social at all. Also the food is not tasty, some things are not warm at all. The noodles also smelled like fish, very gross! Everything in the restaurant is sticky, the floor, the chairs and the tables. DISGUSTING! Hygiene is also terribly bad. There were still food scraps on my plate and knife. NOT TO BE REPEATED!!!

Tasty food, even for someone who doesn't eat fish

I have eaten here before, the food is really not special and it is not a nice restaurant. Plates were missing pieces, wallpaper was loose in some places. Those little things make it seem like everything is not very well organized. Picked up sushi today and it really wasn't tasty. We also received a few pieces of wrong sushi and not what we ordered. Furthermore, the lemurs were poorly filled. I don't know how long the salmon had been in the refrigerator, but it was unedible. Don't even get me started on the soybeans... not recommended!

Bad service, called after 1.5 hours of waiting. The delivery person would be on his way. It's now been 2 hours and the order still hasn't arrived. It's that I already paid online. But how bad.

Wij hebben hier op Hemelvaartsdag 2023 gegeten, Het was super lekker en de bediening was zeer vriendelijk. De reden dat wij zo’n hoge score hebben gegeven is omdat wij zeer tevreden waren over het feit dat er rekening mee werd gehouden dat mijn echtgenote een maagverkleining heeft en dus heel weinig sushi op kan. Vanwege dit feit hoefde zij alleen de vier sushi af te rekenen die zij gegeten had. Toch netjes voor een restaurant met een all-you-can-eat concept.

1 star is still too much, waiting more than 3 hours for an order that according to them has been 'on its way' for more than an hour. After calling about the status of your order, you also get an unfriendly lady on the phone...

The food is of excellent quality. Unfortunately, the service was not that good, no one asked if we wanted something to drink, no one explained the concept upon arrival. The food and drinks were quickly placed on the table without explanation, when we asked what was what we got two high eyebrows “do I have to explain all that?”. Once, but not for us anymore :) Turning on some music would also be nice.

I had a really bad meal and I don't even want to start talking about the shrimps, never again, bah, just bah, just without any of my money, 80 euros would have been better off going to Mac Donalds, I was full for 10tjeee

Delicious food in a relaxed environment. Top! Surprising dishes, cold, warm. Meat, fish and vegetarian. Too much and too bad. Recommended☺️

Lovely staff and the sushi is very tasty. Furthermore, no music which is exactly what we were looking for. It was also halal because no alcohol was used in the sushi rice!

Sushi and hot dishes are great. Sushi is quite nice and large. Service is friendly. Not really a negative point, but perhaps the soft music would make it even more complete. Otherwise, a very good restaurant with delicious sushi.

Went for dinner many times, it was always delicious. However, I went again on Sinterklaas evening, but I have rarely eaten so badly. Sushi was decent but all the hot food from the kitchen was not okay. Unfortunately... next time I will eat sushi elsewhere.

Ordered food and mistakenly opted for delivery instead of pick-up. We weren't home so the delivery person went back. When we came to pick up the food, they had even remade the hot things for us. Top service and always delicious food!

It was a bit difficult to understand how ordering works. Very tasty sushi and all other things were fresh and tasty.

I've been before and it was great. Last time it was a flop. Didn't receive things that were ordered. What we got was also not good or not tasty and we had to wait a very long time for drinks. Staff was friendly. I don't want to say that I would never go with me, but I do hope for improvement.

Nice meal. Maki was very large so you couldn't eat it in one go and because you had to bite it off it fell apart. Hilarious when you are together for a while, but not very charming on a first date, for example. Squid was tough and chicken balls on a stick were tasteless, but otherwise the quality was very good, service was enthusiastic and extremely friendly (particularly a blonde young lady serving did a very good job). We had a wonderful evening.

We see quality decreasing. We've been coming here for years. The quality used to be good, but now a lot of salt is used in the dishes. Fish is also less fresh. There is work to be done to improve this. The decoration could also use a freshening up, but it's not cozy.

Yesterday we visited Sushi tijd in Almelo again and we were (again) very pleased to have such a restaurant close-by. The name 'Sushi tijd' (Sushi time') does not fully reflect the variety of food one can order as the menu also includes Chinese and some Western small plates. Staff is very friendly and the ordered dishes are presented within 'no-time' after ordering. One can observe the make of the (always fresh) sushi rolls by the semi-open kitchen / working place. It is not an extremely cheap place but you just pay for the high quality of the food.

Excellent Sushi, also a good restaurant, a bit "bare" in terms of decoration and therefore not quite cozy. But with nice people it is a great location

I'm not into reviews... but after ordering 3 times, I had to wait a long time twice and everything was lukewarm... now the 3rd time I just had to wait 1.5 hours, and the food was stone cold... plenty of sushi places in the area. Unfortunately we won't order from here again...

Delicious food, beautiful restaurant

Vanaf het begin van sushi tijd regelmatige bezoeker geweest. Inmiddels is de kwaliteit achteruit gegaan, rondes worden vergeten, drankjes worden niet gebracht, eigenaar zit op haar gemak in de hoek te eten terwijl het personeel haar best doet om het de gasten naar de zin te maken en maar blijft excuseren voor de gang van zaken. Al met al is dit de laatste keer geweest dat wij daar waren. Teveel personeel gezien, teveel achteruit zien gegaan en ongeïnteresseerde bazin die elke keer wel een ander excuus heeft!

Delicious sushi and good, fast service. Negative point for the fact that the price was €2 pp higher than stated on the menu. Upon inquiry, it turned out that this had been adjusted online, but not yet on the menu. It wouldn't have been a deal breaker, but it would be nice to clearly indicate this. A large bottle of water (0.75 L) costs €6.50. Serious?! And no, that's not mentioned on the menu either.

Sushi was warm, the rice was hard and dry and the chicken tasted of nothing. The rostis were cold. Delivery was almost an hour later than stated. No more second time for me.

We love Sushi Tijd. When you think of sushi, go to Sushi Tijd. Friendly services, great and variety of food. Best recommended. Party or family gathering. Beers, alcohol.. You will love it.

Just nice, have been going there for a few years now and always enjoy it, there is a lot of choice, ordering is easy and service is fairly fast, you don't have to wait half an hour, it's not big but not too often. The sushi is tasty and fresh (I think) so definitely go there, the only problem is that things go wrong quite often, so every now and then you don't get something, you can easily ask for it and you'll get it right away.

Sushi Time always had a good score with us. I was allowed to eat again tonight after a long time in lockdown, but had to adjust expectations considerably. The service was very chaotic, notes were hardly collected, service barely looked around at customers, we received a double order twice, we did not receive what we ordered 3 times and we received something twice that we had not ordered at all. Can happen during very busy times, but many tables were empty (we assume due to the distance between them) so it was not a full house. Most of the dishes tasted fine, except for the Ebi Tempura. Rubbery and dry in taste and did not suit 2 people at all. By the way, all Tempura were baked with far too much Tempura batter in proportion. Last but not least, staff stacks the clean empty washed trays high and then keeps the stack under control while walking with their chin on top of the top tray. Seen several times, this is of course not possible from a hygiene/covid perspective. Point of attention. Was there nothing good? Yes, the regular sushis were fresh and delicious. They need to go back to the old level with waiting staff who care about customers who pay for their part-time job 😉

Very tasty meal. The teriyaki chicken is especially delicious. The sushis were also very good. Received a bottle of Chardonnay when I picked it up. Friendly people! Recommended, 5 stars.

Super tasty food but also good delivery service. Friendly staff. I called Joe for a long time because of hungry children, she did her best for me and my order was at home within 20 minutes. Top!

We picked up sushi, it was very tasty. Fills well, and not abnormally expensive. We did get enough ketjap, wasabi and other sauce for the next 10 years.

Had to wait 45 minutes for food, had to ask twice, not everything that was ordered was brought, staff too young, they may be doing their best, I don't recommend it

Sushi tasted and looked good only they really have to spent more time on the hygiene. I send one tuna sushi back because it was to old for sushi and still next day i was a bit sick. And around us were used tissues from night before.

Tastiest place to eat in Almelo

We had a delicious meal here, sushi is wonderfully fresh, as are all meat dishes. Is quality and for a good price. Everything went smoothly and we ate enough. Definitely recommended if you are in the area.

The food is delicious. It's just a shame that the management has no control over things. Many dishes were marked but not served. Service often "forgot" our table. Too bad, but annoying. Wasn't the first time we experienced this. Next time I'll go to Hengelo for sushi.

Reservations don't matter, they just give away your table so you have to wait. Very bad!!
