We zijn er nu al paar keer geweest en blijven verrast door de fijne sfeer, inrichting, heerlijk eten en de charmante, ongedwongen bediening. Zowel lunch als diner zijn aanraders. Wel reserveren want ze zitten vaak vol. Ook fijn dat je er gratis kan parkeren.

20/3 heerlijk diner gehad met (oud)collega’s. Op zonnig terras een witbiertje vooraf, daarna binnen aan ronde tafel met z’n vieren. Op verrijdbaar bord met Michelinmannetje 😉(van de autobanden) , werden de gerechten buiten de kaart toegelicht. Meeste bestelde buiten de kaart om en werden positief verrast. Heerlijk 3 gangen gegeten met wijntje erbij. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Gratis parkeren vanwege industrieterrein locatie (nadeel is dat je even moet speuren waar het is (ligt iets van doorgaande weg af, maar zit een doek met naam restaurant aan hekwerk parkeerterrein. Koste mij een extra rondje omrijden, want had het eerste keer niet opgemerkt)

This is truly a place to enjoy hospitality and fantastic food. The decoration is cool, bizarre and yet not too flashy. It's amazing how you can create a peaceful whole with countless model cars, old vending machines, a norit museum (no joke), etc. etc. in a kind of greenhouse. The food is really delicious, good quality products, original dishes outside the menu. The 'Cuckoo' was truly extraordinary. We hope to see that dish on the regular menu. The only thing that could be better is if there was also a nice specialty beer on tap.

Dry chicken that was not sticky but just soaked in some ketjap manis. Salad was 90% lamb's lettuce with a few tomato quarters and some salt grains the size of hailstones. And you pay 20 euros for that

Excellent in terms of atmosphere and service, but asking €23 for a sandwich with portobello and fries is no longer proportionate. I understand that rent, energy costs, staff, etc. have to be paid, but at a certain point the quality and quantity of a dish is simply no longer in proportion to the price charged for it.

What a fantastic place! We received a very nice welcome from the striking owner who welcomed us by name. The staff does everything they can to make you happy and is super attentive. The decor and atmosphere are really great, I have not often eaten in such a cool place. And the food was great too! We will come again soon!!!

Mijn favo restaurant nu en voor voorlopig💓 Na 1 bezoek wist ik het al: alles klopt zodra je binnen komt, op alle fronten. Vooral de overheerlijke, gezonde verse gerechten die met liefde worden bereid. Goede sfeer, relaxed publiek, want alles is daar lekker, gezellig en ongedwongen daar want draait het bij B.A.S om daar te ontspannen en genieten! Het team is een goed geoliede organisatie, hebben alles inder controle en je voelt dat zij plezier hebben en dat proef help je bord😊 Je kijkt je ogen uit met zoveel vintage entourage, kortom een geweldig restaurant op alle fronten, die het bezoeken meer dan waard is!!

Haven't had such a good meal and such a pleasant meal in a long time. The food was super fresh, sufficient and delicious. The owner and the rest of the staff were all very friendly and witty. The Dame Blanche is highly recommended, the best we have had so far! Because of this experience I would recommend this restaurant to everyone!

The employee was rude and interfered in our affairs without asking. I went here for coffee with a friend and he went to pay for it. The employee then said: "In the Netherlands, the women pay." This felt inappropriate and sexist, as it gives the impression that there are fixed expectations about who pays, without taking our situation into account. I had treated my friend to lunch earlier, and now he paid for the coffee. I didn't really understand what he was trying to achieve with that comment and we both felt uncomfortable about it.

So even more critical, but here for BAS they are so enthusiastic, that can't go wrong and it didn't. The surroundings do not suggest that a catering gem is located here. If you offer a lot of choice, not everything can be great and the risk of a mistake is much greater. I chose the Carpaccio and partner the bavette. Good wines in generous glasses. I often choose carpaccio, but I didn't eat it as tasty as here: a nice layer of super tender meat sprinkled with a mixture of fresh green herbs, capers, pine nuts, slivers of olive, parmesan and spring onion, sprinkled with beautiful olive oil and truffle mayonnaise and topped with riccolo. Delicious. The party was topped off with a special cheesecake. Too bad we live in France, because you would wish this address was close to you. Really a top tent!! When we are in the Netherlands we will definitely eat here again

What a great restaurant! I was taken there once by a friend at the beginning of this year and have been back several times since then to try more dishes. There is a really great atmosphere here! Staff is very friendly and the decor is very unique! If you like them, the snails are highly recommended! But the duck was also great! I haven't actually tasted anything that wasn't tasty. This is truly a gem of Amersfoort!

What a great place, super attentive people and a nice atmosphere!

Been several times, always above average, but yesterday it was downright bad. It started as soon as we entered, while we were just sitting down and wanted to order our first drink, the menu was immediately explained and whether we wanted to make a choice. Starter was put on the table, but something had been forgotten, so it was quickly thrown in... There was also a strangely tense atmosphere, every now and then staff members started smoking, hasty, messy, toilet broken... almost things are not going well. After the starter we were asked if we wanted the main course straight away, we were hungry, so we answered in the affirmative and then came the big nothing.... waited for over half an hour, no one came to say or ask anything.... then the main course was served. served, no apologies, nothing, some stories about "busy" and "large group", while there were plenty of tables with 3 people, who had already eaten while we were inside earlier. So we left, no longer hungry, it was now after 8 o'clock. As an owner in this case I would apologize and drop the bill, but we only got the drinks for free. No BAS for us for the time being!

We found the place by chance and it has been a great discovery. The food, the place, the friendliness, everything is a 10. Wat een top tent. Leuke gastheer, vriendelijk personeel, een goede kaart en goede wijnen. Voorgerecht, Peking Eend, leuk geserveerd in gebakken wonton. Lekkere dressing en goed mals. De Diamanhaas was al net zo goed. Perfect medium rare, wat groenten en frietjes erbij. helemaal compleet. Als nagerecht gekozen voor een Irish Coffee. Dat was een schot in de roos. helemaal perfect zoals het hoort met geslagen room. De Ober gaf zelf aan dat ie het zonde vond dat de room een beetje was doorgelopen. De volgende keer zou hij m helemaal perfect maken. Aanrader om meer dan eens naar toe te gaan.

Perfect medium rare, some vegetables and fries. totally complete. For dessert I opted for an Irish Coffee. That was a bull's eye. absolutely perfect as it should be with whipped cream. The waiter himself indicated that he thought it was a shame that the cream had run through a bit. Next time he would make it absolutely perfect. Recommended to go more than once.

Wonderful retro decor in this old Norrit factory. Informal atmosphere, you are made very welcome by the staff. The food is always surprisingly good, regardless of whether you end up in France. I recommend Affogato a la Bas as a surprisingly good dessert 😋.

B.A.S is a very pleasant place to have lunch and dinner. Super service, attractive and nicely decorated. The food is super tasty and shines on your plate. Price is fair and the location is great due to the many free parking options. Tip: reserve your spot, otherwise you might miss out ;)

Nice thing. Only drank coffee. However, less than an hour after departure I started having terrible stomach pain, vomiting, etc. It sounds like food poisoning. 48 hours later it's over again. We really thought about it carefully and reasoned back (neither of us lost our minds), and only the coffee with you remained.

A very attractive and hospitable restaurant in an unexpected location. We went without making a reservation and were lucky that a reservation had not been made. It was pleasantly busy and we received a very friendly welcome. The owner is very enthusiastic. We opted for the cheese fondue, which was certainly tasty but could have been a little more authentic and the quantity was ok. Just with fries and salad. The affogato was delicious and we will definitely come back.

Hidden between companies, but so nice and cozy.

French cuisine remains the tastiest! We ate delicious rillette and the duck breast with blackberries was also fantastic. Afterwards a generous cheese board with, fortunately, mainly French cheeses (not that local stuff) and good wine. Friendly service and the restaurant has a nice, quirky decor. New favorite in the area, I'll definitely be back.

'Slechts' nummer 87 van de 240 restaurants hier op Tripadvisor. Enerzijds totaal onterecht, anderzijds helemaal prima! Dan blijft het een 'hidden-gem' op een van de meest troosteloze industrieterreinen van Nederland. Hoe groot is de verrassing als je binnenkomt: leuk interieur, geweldig personeel, mooie kaart met genoeg variatie aan gerechten. Je kan eigenlijk blind iets bestellen want alles is meer dan prima! Prijs/kwaliteit meer dan prima in orde! Echt een aanrader!
