Recommended by friends. Very tasty bread. The oatmeal sourdough was finished in one afternoon.

For delicious bread, Batard Bakery in Amersfoort is a real asset. Good loaves, croissants, and—not entirely unimportant—baguettes just the way they should be. The owner is incredibly friendly and happy to help, and there is a relaxed atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable, naturally more than a supermarket, but that is to be expected. The taste of the Batard Blonde was delicious; highly recommended to take with you if you are getting a baguette!

What a lovely bakery! I ordered baguettes here for a dinner in the garden, and we enjoyed them so much with our 13 guests! I will order from here again next time.

Cozy neighborhood bakery with a wide range of breads and delicious treats.

We came when they were actually closed, so unfortunately we could only buy cookies, but they were good.

The people are so friendly and always up for a quick chat. The different types of sourdough breads are divine! We went there every morning during our stay and had to buy a new loaf every day. We also got a great recommendation for a bakery in Utrecht. I am really impressed by your craftsmanship and the love you put into this bakery. I would love it if you could develop a vegan alternative to your sweet pastries, they looked really great. Just because of you, I definitely want to go back to Amersfoort! 🫶🏻

Beautiful shop, friendly staff, and quality bread. A bit pricey, but worth it. Delicious for Sunday breakfast or Easter.

Well. I don't think it gets much better. What a delicious sourdough bread. Real quality. Unfortunately, good bread is sometimes expensive. It is a bit of a luxury product. But great! So nice to have this bakery nearby!

Echt heerlijk brood!! Perfect knapperige korst en lekker zacht vanbinnen. Ook de croissantjes en koekjes zijn altijd top. Aanrader!!!

Erg goede kwaliteit bakker. Heel klein opgezet, met klein assortiment, maar alles is van top kwaliteit. Daarbih ook hele fijne mensen.

Ik haal meerdere keren per week brood bij Douwe. Geweldige desembroden en telkens een andere soort. Voor de liefhebber vanalles speciaals, maar ook gewoon een fantastisch stokbrood. Lekkere kleine broodjes en zoets zijn ook altijd aanwezig. Echt een aanrader. Zijn bakkerij is klein maar fijn en je kunt altijd meekijken - zo leer je de ins & outs van het broodbakken!
