After being expertly ignored by the wait staff for 15 minutes, I went to Van Speyk, where you are served and can spend your money

Very tasty vegetarian dishes and the service is very open and friendly.

The carpaccio wasn't good. It had maggots in it, and the service was a bit casual. I was very sick all night.

We haven't been to Egmond aan Zee in a while and were therefore very pleasantly surprised by the outdoor redesign of the Chill Club. Wonderful, the old flair of the former "de Klok" has returned and even been surpassed. The food was excellent; I had the spicy mussels, which were very tasty; my husband had a burger.

We'll be returning because the staff are super friendly and very attentive; good coffee and delicious food at fair (but not cheap!) prices. We'll be back❗️👍

I had a delicious poke bowl, and my wife had a Caesar salad. The fries were delicious. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Amazing mussels! So tasty, recommended!

We had to wait a very long time for everything. Fries have to be ordered separately and paid extra. Unfortunately, the fries didn't arrive until the meat was almost eaten. Furthermore, the meat was already cold when it arrived at the table. For just under €30, it was also really tiny.

We initially just went for drinks and sat at a small table overlooking the bustling summer market. We were hungry, but the menu wasn't very appealing to a pescatarian. When we happened to hear they had mussels, we stayed. Best choice ever. Delicious food, generous portions. The staff was friendly.

Delicious food, beautifully presented. We had the pointed cabbage, chicken thigh satay, sea bass, and hamburger, and for dessert, apple pie, Dame Blanche, and vanilla ice cream. The service was friendly and their timing was perfect (they didn't come by too often or too infrequently). What I also really like about this place is the spacious seating, with plenty of distance between tables, and the well-thought-out acoustics. There's no echo, and you can hear each other clearly. Highly recommended!

We were there several times, and the food was perfect again. All the dishes were prepared to perfection. The only downside was that we had reserved a table for four people and it seemed as if they had forgotten. Everything worked out after all. We'd be happy to come back.

We were just here for a coffee. The staff is courteous, the prices are perfectly reasonable, and the atmosphere is nice. You can sit comfortably on the covered terrace even when it's raining. It's also nice when there's something going on in the square in front (live music), so you can hear everything.

Insulted and hurt by the arrogant manager. This is terrible and unsuitable for the hospitality industry. Guests are not allowed to have any contact. Neither are staff. That's absolutely unacceptable!

Great place! Went for lunch; because it was busy, it took a little longer before we had our sandwiches. However, they apologized for this and the sandwiches were so richly filled, you'll be happy! Cocktails are not on the menu, but if you ask, they will also make you a good mojito! Recommended if you want a nice lunch!

Very cozy "beach club" that is not on the beach. Service is very friendly and the food is fine, for a good price. We had quesadillas and bruschettas. To lick your fingers! Finally, we were also treated to live music on Thursday afternoon. Had a great afternoon!

We always enjoy the chilled Fries so we were quite disappointed that they had also changed the ingredients on the new menu, quite tasty but not nearly as tasty as the previous one with bacon, spring onion, parmesan and truffle mayonnaise....maybe 2 variations on the menu??

Delicious food, great service and nicely decorated...Nice atmosphere. Food was amazingly tasty...I chose pointed cabbage...true taste experience. We were with 10 people and everyone was enthusiastic about their choice. Super tasty. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, we didn't like it that much. The service was rather unmotivated and took a long time to arrive. We can only recommend it with reservations. The coffee and breakfast were average. Maybe we'll come back another time and give it another chance.

Very nice restaurant with friendly staff and delicious dishes, something for everyone

A truly lovely beach bar. Right in the center of Egmond ann Zee. The interior is beautifully decorated. There's an outdoor area that's sheltered from the wind. And on cold days, you can turn on patio heaters. The food was delicious. We had a mixed platter and loaded fries. It was absolutely plentiful and incredibly tasty. We will definitely visit the place again if we go on vacation there again. The waiters were all very friendly, polite, and accommodating.

The Beach Club Chill is simply fantastic! The atmosphere invites you to relax and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. We were particularly impressed that special requests were taken into account. My wife spontaneously asked for an espresso martini, even though it wasn't on the menu - and lo and behold: it was served to us as a surprise! 🍸💫 Service like this makes all the difference - we'll definitely be back! 😍🌴

The food was perfectly fine. However, the service was very bad. Bored waiter. The plates were only cleared shortly before paying. I would have liked to drink something more, no chance, unfortunately no one came and asked if we would like to drink something else. You sit very cramped with the tables next to you. Lots of tables in a small space. What's it supposed to be like in the summer?

It was a lovely evening at Beach Club Chill. Good food, we had excellent cod, delicious Affligen Blond, went perfectly with it. I really liked the atmosphere. Many thanks to Vincent, the service was just good.

Hesitated the name for years. In terms of food, I'm not really into beach clubs, I'm always looking for a classic restaurant. To be honest, everything was full in Egmond aan Zee, so we felt compelled to eat here. Ooh how we miss/missed the Clock. Ooh, we are pleasantly surprised. Atmospheric modern interior, hospitality in combination with a delicious menu. The food was like the menu. After skipping the Clock for too long based on a less challenging name, Chill has surpassed us so they will definitely see us again.

The service was super friendly and tried very hard. Our food (salmon & burger) was very tasty, only the mojito was really very bad, only tasted like water, and there was only 1 mini piece of lime in the cocktail.

We ate a very tasty carpaccio sandwich, it was fantastic and the staff is very sweet!

We had a delicious meal! I have rarely eaten such well-prepared meat (I had steak and stew). Friendly service, who even sang for our birthday table companion.

Worthless, people after us were served earlier (it was not recorded that other people were paying), I was told that I had to pay for 6 people (wrong table number entered) apple pie. Too expensive, whipped cream 1.00 while they get it at a supermarket (not real heavy whipped cream). Like the whole of Egmond, they want to have a name like Scheveningen, Zandvoort. Good luck with that. Always liked it, but not anymore. Oh a German guest ordered 4 ice creams (don't laugh, 2 scoops so 8 scoops for 16.00 euros

Great location in Egmond with exceptionally friendly staff and delicious food! They even made us a delicious affogato that was not on the menu We will be back!

Unfortunately, we didn't have good experiences here. Four simple main dishes were ordered, the first were served after over an hour, the last dish after about 1 1/2 hours. The portion size is extremely manageable and is barely enough as a main course. It was not possible to reorder drinks because the waitress no longer felt responsible for us. If this is standard in the restaurant, you should definitely avoid it.

We were at Chill on New Year's Eve and absolutely loved it. Ambience ok, Staff top Roast venison was great. Great wine recommendation. Dessert great A wonderful evening, we would love to come back.

We spontaneously stopped in for a mulled wine. Surprisingly good, somehow refined with rum and amaretto, very tasty. We then ordered the chill fries, fresh potatoes, spring onions, truffle cheese... Honestly delicious and generous in portion. We will definitely come to eat next time we are in Egmond. Dogs are welcome. The atmosphere is cozy. The service is friendly.

Food was really good, unfortunately the service left something to be desired, the Savignon Blanc was not dry and almost room temperature, when asked we were told that it was usual, it's a shame because the rest was actually at a very decent level, we will agree Give restaurant a second chance……

The food was fine, but not super good. the wines were a bit disappointing. I wouldn't give it a 4.5. (Which is now the average in terms of reviews)

We were really positively surprised. The service was very friendly and the food (we had the butternut squash) was very generous in portion, beautifully prepared and very well balanced in terms of taste. The slightly higher price is absolutely justified.

I deducted stars because I find it very unhygienic when a not particularly small dog sits on the bench at the table with its butt (perhaps just given birth.....) like a human. In front of there she is also fed on the table and drools. Unfortunately, the staff doesn't intervene and say that a dog belongs under/on the table on the floor. I don't know if I'll go there again. Unfortunately, the toilets weren't the cleanest either, but it's the guests themselves who are disgusting. The prices are quite high, but just acceptable. Service very friendly, cake slices okay.

There are different seating options: outside, in the winter garden and inside. When it comes to drinks, there is a huge wine list to choose from, but also different types of beer. First of all we had the bread platter with two spicy dips - recommended! The three dishes we ordered were all very tasty and visually well prepared. If you like live music, you should stop by on Thursdays (according to the announcements in the restaurant).

Beautiful place in the middle of pleasant Egmond aan Zee. Atmosphere and service are great and the food deserves a high rating. Just a pity that they have a coffee machine and no real espresso machine. That would complete it. Definitely recommended!

Update 9/7/24 Coffee Verkeert, without coffee for 3.40 euros, but pure milk. After the complaint, coffee without a saucer, without cookies, without a spoon. The naked cup on the table. Very disappointing. No star this time. Previously our favorite cafe, de Klok, which unfortunately burned down. So now we visit the Beach Club Chill. Delicious food. Great ambience. Highly recommended. Very young staff. Very friendly, but it sometimes takes a moment longer, but on vacation?

What a cozy and nice restaurant. We had dinner here with our family. The staff was very friendly and there was a very nice atmosphere. And oh what a delicious meal we had here. The men had spare ribs, well they have eaten a lot of spare ribs but these were really the best...the meat fell right off the bone👌. The tacos and hamburger were also delicious. We will definitely come back here when we are in Egmond again

Wat hebben wij n geweldige avond gehad, super blij verrast met een uitstekend verrassingsmenu, een ster waardig en we zijn echt wel wat gewend. Mooie gerechten, mooie opmaak, n juiste balans in smaken. Leuke jonge bediening. Maarrr de Chef kok verdiende vanavond wel alle eer, mooie uitleg van de gerechten, blij verrast. Vrienden mee die ook heel blij waren met onze keuze van dit restaurant, graag tot een volgende keer.

We only stopped for some drinks, but I saw some dishes passing by, and they looked really good. The service was very attentive and nice. It's great to sit outside and watch people passing by.

Tonight we had dinner at Chill and we had the special of the day: tenderloin skewer with black garlic gravy. It was really delicious! The flavor combinations, perfect and high-quality meat, the tasty grilled vegetables and the generous amount of fries with tasty mayo. Everything with good service and affordable bills. We will definitely come back!!

Very nice atmosphere, restaurant is in the town center. Nice to sit outside, partly covered. Service consists of very young staff who are very friendly. I thought the food we were able to enjoy there was outstanding: the variety of starters was sensational, the luxury plankije was also really tasty. Price performance is also right. The only thing I have to complain about is the cocktails, which are unfortunately a bit carelessly prepared. (The gin and tonic didn't even come with a slice of cucumber, and other cocktails for €8.50 didn't come with any decorations other than the straw).

Wow, a must when in Egmond. Ambience, service and food great. The burger and the mussels are a delight. Unfortunately we didn't really like the music today for entertainment purposes.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the food was fantastic! From the starter (a taste of chill) to the main course (excellent mussels and burgers) to the dessert (delicious apple pie), everything was perfect! One star deducted from the service because we had to wait for some time - but that was due to the high number of guests. Otherwise very friendly and helpful staff! All in all very recommendable!!

So far they get a 4. But that's because it's still in the afternoon. Attentive staff. And what's driving me wild at the moment is their pink gin and tonic. Must say one of the best cocktails I have tasted so far. And I should know that.😎🍹

Essen (Burger und Spareribs) deutlich überdurchschnittlich, nicht nur für holländische Verhältnisse. Bier und Getränke (diverse Cocktails) top. Reservierung des Tisches problemlos. Gerne immer wieder, wenn in Egmond.

Germany vs España seen at the Beach Club. Table reservation was easy, food (burgers and spareribs) was really good. Drinks (beer and various cocktails) are only recommended. Service absolutely top. Very friendly, very attentive. Not my last visit to Beach Club Chill.

It's nice, the food and drink is good, you have to wait for the service every now and then. But that's understandable since it's almost always full in the evenings. There is a mega extra ⭐ for the broadcast of the European Championship games, the atmosphere is fantastic.

We come to Egmond several times every year and have been regular guests here since it opened. So far everything has been good and we have always been satisfied. However, on our last visit at Pentecost, a young waiter had a mishap. While serving, he poured a large glass of beer over my wife. It was really soaking wet from top to bottom and the beer was even in our backpack. As compensation we were handed a towel and offered a new beer. However, since beer is not water and everything was sticky and smelly, we couldn't accept this. We then asked the manager for an interview. He then said my wife could stand in the sun to dry. After all, he couldn't buy us new pants! We found this to be an impertinence. Since we were there for three days and my wife didn't have any other long pants with us, we would have at least expected that we would have been offered to have our things cleaned. As I said, a mishap can happen to a young, probably quite inexperienced man. But the management's handling of this is a disgrace. We will continue to go to Egmond several times a year but we won't see this restaurant again. There are enough other options in Egmond that give a guest appropriate appreciation.
