On December 20th, my husband and I were sitting at the long table near the restrooms. There were about four other guests in the restaurant who had already been served drinks. The young man taking orders simply ignored us. He walked past us and out. He walked back without looking at us and lingered at the bar. I tried to make eye contact, but it seemed as if we didn't exist. He clearly wasn't interested. It took about 15 minutes for him to come over. I said to him, "Did you really not see us or did you not want to see us?" The young man simply looked at me but didn't answer my question. We found that very strange. We quickly left after our drinks and payment.

Since Google deleted my previous review at Spijkers' request, I'm writing a more detailed version here. We organized a birthday party here. We were told we could play our own music through the system they had in place. On the day itself, they said the music wasn't working and only the standard playlist. When we brought this up afterward, we were told it was our own fault. We were told beforehand that one of us had to eat gluten-free. That wouldn't be a problem. We were served toast with toppings. Between them was a thick slice of cucumber with the same topping. I can tell you, it's not very tasty. Moreover, the toasts touched the cucumber, and there was cross-contamination. This isn't the first time. Last time I was here, I asked for gluten-free bread. It ended up being regular bread. When I pointed this out, the response I got was, "You'd just push it aside." That's not how an autoimmune disease works. Anyway. The food is otherwise excellent.

Perfect! We really needed a quiet place after a long drive to get everything, I enjoyed it.
