Good cocktails, huge range of drinks. You also get water on the table. The choice of snacks is limited (meat, nuts, olives) but fine. The host is not very charismatic, but is very skilled with cocktails.

A great little bar with a lot of interesting Whiskeys. Selected a Japanese Whiskey flight (3 near whiskeys) after the recommendation of the bartender. A great experience.

Cozy little bar with delicious cocktails. 1 of our group (6) tried a Japanese whiskey flight. Good story, sir, takes his time. Also a glass of water next to the drinks. All super delicious!

Great bar with a phenomenal selection of whisky, bourbon, rum and good cocktails. The gentleman at the bar clearly knows his spirits incredibly well. Hospitality is sorely missing though. His manner is brusque and a bit rough. He was the only one making drinks and taking orders, can totally imagine it was rush hour, will give it another chance some other day. It’s a bar I would love to be a regular at, but not with this level of service again.

Delicious cocktails but very unfriendly bartender where every question is one too many.

I've heard this place is nice in the weekends, but I went with 3 friends on a week night, and the service was not good. The bar tender was grumpy, watching videos on his phone, didn't greet us and didn't take initiative to give us the menu. This made the atmosphere just awkward because there weren't many other people.

Cocktails were incredible, but the bartender seemed like he was angry we were there and there was seriously no heating on. Just wear an extra sweater I guess.

Amazing coctails with cozy athmopshere

The Japanese whisky cocktail on the specials board was incredible and I’d definitely recommend popping in here for a drink or two. The atmosphere is really cozy and dark. We didn’t try any of the food as it seemed like it was mainly for drinks.

Super tasty cocktails! Upon arrival the bar seems closed, but once inside the tastiest cocktails are waiting for you. The cocktails are perfectly balanced and delicious.

Great place for great drinks! Small in size with a cosy atmosphere. Cocktails and whiskey/whisky, probably one of the best places around! The Ramos gin fizz, what a treat! Seems there are some comments on the service. The owner does a great job; making great cocktails takes a bit of time folks. In a time where everyone seems to want everything "here and now!", the pace might not seem up to speed. I say: relax, you're here in your free time, no need to rush! Have not tried the bites to eat, so cannot comment on those. But on that front it is only snacks, no kitchen.

Arrived at the bar (Sunday evening) after reading reviews about service being poor and drinks being amazing. I don’t think the service is anything to write home about, but that’s not why I came. If you came to be amazed, let it be because of the libations. I had the espresso martini which was fantastic, and then followed that by the Old Fashioned which took some time but was PERFECT. If you enjoy an old fashioned, this is the place to get one. I also tried the Yellow Bird which was really fruit (sweet) forward, but flavor fantastic. As the rest of the reviews state, if you come for drinks you won’t be disappointed. Bravo. Did have some good conversation with the bartender as well once he was done doing his work on the computer. I did hear him engaging in educating other customers on different drinks and whiskeys as well, so nice to hear that passion. Definitely recommend.

Op aanraden van een vriendin hier afgelopen weekend een cocktail wezen drinken. De cocktails waren fantastisch! Goed gebalanceerd, uitgesproken. Niet de zoete of zure meuk die je al gauw in andere barren geserveerd krijgt. Toch zou ik huiverig zijn om terug te gaan, en dat komt omdat wij ons geen enkel moment welkom gevoeld hebben in deze bar. Ik had het idee dat elke vraag er één teveel was en dat hij liever niet had dat we daar zaten dan wel. Nu heeft iedereen natuurlijk z'n dag wel eens niet en dat kan gebeuren. Cocktails maken kan hij in ieder geval als de beste!

Geweldige en unieke cocktails. Daarnaast hebben ze veel verschillende whiskies die je kan proeven. Prijs is aan de hoge kant, maar dat is overal zo momenteel. Service is goed.

Wilde graag de cocktails proberen, maar na 20 minuten wachten nog geen bestelling kunnen doen. Uiteindelijk bestelling opgenomen en de cocktails waren goed, maar geef liever een andere plek de volgende keer een kans.

Lekkere en bijzondere cocktails! Er wordt niet lullig gedaan over de hoeveelheid alcohol. Het is geen grote bar, en hij lijkt van buitenaf misschien dicht. Maar de eigenaar en cocktails zullen je verbazen!

Super leuke cocktailworkshop gedaan! Ruimte om zelf een cocktail door te geven die je wil leren. Heeft duidelijk heel veel kennis over alcohol en cocktails, daardoor heel interessant om naar te luisteren! Voor de workshop wel van tevoren reserveren natuurlijk. Dank voor de leuke tijd, wij komen zeker terug!

This place is a no nonsense place for great cocktails (the zombie is a must try). Do not expect great decor and bar tenders with fancy mustaches though 😉

This is a beautiful cocktail bar. The atmosphere is lovely, the owner/bartender is incredibly knowledgeable. The drinks are top tier, the selection is fantastic. It gets busy, like busy busy, on the weekends. Don’t be a jerk - wait or go somewhere else. This is a small bar for people who really enjoy cocktails. One of my favorites in the world.

Overheerlijke cocktails aan een goede prijs. Vriendelijke bediening door een duidelijk gepassioneerde eigenaar. Absolute aanrader om hier iets te drinken als je in Utrecht bent.

Vreselijk slechte service. Wij waren met zijn vieren. In de bar waren nog twee andere mensen. Cocktails waren wel lekker, maar het was erg koud in de zaak. De barman zat ongeïnteresseerd aan de bar op zijn laptop te werken. Hij had voor zichzelf een extra losse verwarming aan staan. We wachtten een half uur om nog iets te kunnen bestellen. Toen we eindelijk zijn aandacht hadden bleef hij evengoed doodleuk nog 5 minuten zitten. Dus hebben we de rekening gevraagd ipv nog een cocktail. Nooit meer.

Leuke, kleine zaak met heerlijke cocktails. Alleen de 'gastvrijheid' was deze keer vrij bot. Op een zaterdagavond zat de zaak lekker vol. Met vier man konden we niet bij elkaar zitten zo zei ook de man die achter de bar stond, dus wilde we gaan. Een duo zat aan een tafeltje voor vier, dus gevraagd of zij het oké vonden om misschien van tafel te ruilen. Dat wilde ze wel. Fijn, konden we toch nog plaats nemen. Na even wachten, wat helemaal oké was gezien de drukte, werd water neergezet. De barman (volgens mij de eigenaar) kwam geërgerd op ons over. We probeerde een praatje aan te knopen of hij vanavond alleen stond. 'Ja, altijd. Ik zei ook dat het vol was. Heb nu even tijd, dus als je wat wilt, moet je nu bestellen' was het antwoord wat we kregen. Snel bestelde we en enigszins verbaasd zaten we elkaar aan te kijken over hoe bot dit antwoord eruit kwam. Het voelde alsof het ons niet in dank was afgenomen dat we toch een tafeltje hadden bemachtigd. De cocktails stonden binnen een mum van tijd op tafel en waren, zoals altijd, erg lekker. Mensen komen niet alleen voor een lekker drankje, maar juist voor een leuke avond. Dat wordt onder andere (en misschien wel vooral) bereikt met een goede service. Als het nou zo druk is, dan volstaat een 'het is nu vrij druk, dus duurt het wat langer'. Dan ben je nog steeds gastvrij en geef je jezelf wat ademruimte. De mensen die er zitten, zien echt wel dat je het druk hebt en hard werkt. Ik wacht liever langer om daarna even vriendelijke aandacht te krijgen, dan hoe het nu ging. Erg jammer en een domper van de avond.

Echt goede en originele cocktails! Leuke tent en ze doen echt moeite om een memorabel drankje te maken.

Leuke cocktailbar met lekkere cocktails. Er is geen menukaart, maar je kunt je wensen doorgeven. Man achter de bar (beetje kaal met een bril) weet veel over verschillende cocktails en kan met een aantal door jou aangegeven ingedriënten iets lekkers op tafel toveren. Een echte aanrader. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug. Kom in het weekend wel op tijd want rond half 9 loopt het vol.

Een beetje verstopt midden in het centrum van Utrecht. Net na openingstijd op vrijdagavond naar binnen gegaan en genoten van heerlijke cocktails. Tikje prijzig, maar dat zijn cocktails overal. Vriendelijke bediening. Leuke ambiance, klein knus tentje!

Wauw! Wat een beleving...op zoek naar een cocktailbar in Utrecht. Via internet bij dit zaakje uitgekomen....in eerste instantie liepen wij het zaakje voorbij....het teruglopen was het zeker waard....het zag er erg donker uit....maar we zijn toch naar binnen gegaan...wauw wat een heerlijke, goede en met passie gemaakte cocktails!!! Maar ook de bites die je kunt bestellen maken het helemaal af! Een totale beleving! Bij ons volgende bezoek aan Utrecht komen wij hier zeker terug!!!!

Kom over denne lille koselige pub en da vi leitet etter ett sted å ta noen drinker. Super atmosfære og kjempe gode cocktails 😁 rask og god servering. Pluss at toalettene er rene.
