Good Italian food in a pleasant, friendly atmosphere. Upon arrival, we were greeted with olives, bread, and herb butter. Then we had bruschetta, tagliatelle that was incredibly fresh, and homemade tiramisu. We had a truly wonderful meal!

What a pleasant experience in this small, charming café! The staff greeted me warmly and immediately made me feel welcome. The cappuccino was excellent—both strong and creamy. The pastries all looked delicious, but the lemon tart was truly fantastic. The atmosphere was relaxed with a touch of elegance. The decor combined modern elements with vintage details, creating a charming ambiance. The music was soothing and pleasant. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The price-quality ratio was excellent. You can feel the passion they put into their work here.

Via thuisbezorgd besteld om 18.30 u, om 19.35 nog geen eten. Gebeld en dan wordt je gewoon weer 5 minuten in de wacht gezet. Dus opnieuw gebeld en dan basalt ze dwars door je heen en wordt je weer in de wacht gezet. Uiteindelijk aan de telefoon vertelt ze doodleuk dat je pizza's net in de oven zitten en nog 7 minuten moeten, dan inpakken en dan wordt het bezorgd. Uiteindelijk om 19.50 u de pizza's en dan nog zeggen "zo dat duurde lang he". En dan rekenen ze € 3,50 bezorgkosten en SERVICEKOSTEN, nou haal dat er maar af.

*From Italian restaurant to religious mass* What happened here?! What a huge disappointment. This was once a charming, authentic Italian restaurant with charm, delicious aromas, Italian music, and a warm welcome. But apparently, they've completely changed course here—and not just a little. Upon entering, you're no longer greeted by Italian sounds, but by loud religious chants. No more Andrea Bocelli or Eros Ramazzotti, but church choir singing that belongs more in a Sunday service than in a restaurant. As if that weren't enough, the walls are now adorned with Bible verses. Seriously? The atmosphere is gone, the Italian identity completely lost. You don't feel like you're in Italy, but in some kind of missionary eatery. And yet I just came for Italian food. Why this extreme turn? If I want to go to a Christian meeting, I know where to find one—but this is a restaurant! The food is still okay, but frankly, it tastes worse if you feel uncomfortable in the overly religious setting. In short: this restaurant has nothing to do with Italy anymore. Such a shame, and for us, this was our last time!

We were parked in a parking lot with our campervan and ordered by phone. What delicious pizzas, truly one of the best ever. Delivered within half an hour, as agreed. Highly recommended!

A good restaurant and therefore very busy. Book in advance to avoid disappointment. Due to high demand, it can take a little longer. If you're not in a hurry, you'll have a great evening.

Not bad, but it doesn't leave you with a good feeling. The combined fish dish was okay, good sauce. But otherwise, it was completely bare. No garnish, just fries or potatoes of your choice. But that was it... 31 euros, seriously? Three pieces of fish with no garnish... no vegetables... nothing. That's just not right. The place is packed, so we're probably wrong for now. The service was also motivated; it took a long time, but that was handled well; there was nothing they could do about it. But really; it doesn't feel right. A lot of money, and not in proportion. They thrive on the location and the affluent surroundings. Until that change comes. The owner is nice; we used to come here a lot, but this has made us decide to check it out again in a year or two. House wine from €6.50/glass... Beer? 5 euros... And don't tell me that "everything is getting more expensive," we get that... But 23 euros for simple pasta with nothing... Not bad, but that's how it feels in the end.

Komen hier al jaren. Was altijd goed. Eten nog steeds goed. Service super slecht. 3x om de menukaart moeten vragen. Voorgerecht kwam wel redelijk snel. Hoofdgerecht na 3 kwartier nog niks. Gevraagd waarom. Eigenaar geïrriteerd. U ziet toch dat we vol zitten!! Na 1.5 uur eindelijk ons eten.. dit kan gebeuren. Maar de reactie van de eigenaar was beneden pijl. Wij komen hier NOOIT, NOOIT MEER!!!!

This dinner was a flop. The only reason the restaurant deserves two stars is the food, which was delicious. But never before have I had to ask the young waiter, after a rather long wait at an unset table, if I could take a look at the menu. He simply forgot about us. The table remained unset until the food arrived. Napkins were also forgotten. Nobody wants to start a relaxing evening like that. The ambiance is nice. Nevertheless, I wouldn't come back.

We were very excited to finally visit Bella Milano on the 4th of May 2025 at 18:30, as we have driven past this restaurant for over a year now. However, the excitement was short lived. After being seated, a young waitress got our drinks, but it took 15 minutes to receive a foodmenu. It then took 15 minutes before taking our order. It took maybe 10 minutes max when we received our starter (soup), this was nice and fast. However, then we had to wait 45 minutes before we received our main dish. The young waitress came to ask after 35 minutes or so, if there was a reason why my partner did not want cheese on his dish (lactoseintolerance). At that point we knew they must have made a mistake in the kitchen, however the girl said nothing else and just walked away again leaving us wondering when we would finally receive our food. I tried to ask the older waiter and he said what we thought but did not apologise and acted as if it was normal we had to wait for our food so long. When the food finally arrived the arrabiatta pasta was flavourless. Not spicy at all and even a bit watery. The side of potatoes was awful and the carbonara was alright. When I asked for some pepper, I had to wait 5 minutes to receive this while my pasta cooled off. Overall, a bad experience. The restaurant was half empty. The young waitress was not trained well and the older staff was commanding her around. The older waiters (man and woman) were fake nice and not welcoming at all. Better go to Happy Italy for a cheaper, faster and nicer experience by the look of things.

The best steak I've eaten in a long time! When we come here we are always received so warmly. Super sweet, kind, warm people and an even nicer family business. The food is really of excellent quality, they have a beautifully varied menu with something for everyone. In the summer the terrace is open and you also have a beautiful view of the water. All in all, definitely worth repeating!!!

Service was great, very friendly people and not too long of a wait. It is very nice and cozy in the restaurant, and the food is great. The pizza pollo is definitely recommended and the pastas are also very tasty. Parking can be a bit difficult, but that is the only downside to the location. Recommended to eat once!

Had a delicious meal at Bella Milano tonight, the staff/owners are extremely friendly. Still not 5 stars, because when picking up the plates my drink was knocked over my clothes, which in itself is not a disaster that can happen. What I do expect is that at least a new drink will be offered, but that did not happen, even though it was an almost full glass and it was not my own fault. The same drink was on the bill. Normally we tip quite a bit, but this time much less for this reason. But it's no reason not to go there again because everything else was good.

Five course Christmas dinner with a wide choice of which only the carpaccio was a minor disappointment... they could pay a little more attention to that. Very friendly and social staff. The very enthusiastic owner and his wife let us taste some of their homemade liqueurs after dinner. We had a pleasant evening at Bella Milano and will definitely come back again.

Bella Milano is a great Italian restaurant where hospitality and quality are central. From the moment you enter to the moment you leave, the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. At the start there is already a basket with fresh bread, herb butter and some olives ready, which gives a warm welcome. The tables are neatly set, which contributes to the pleasant atmosphere. The food is delicious, from the starters to the desserts, all of which are delicious. The prices are on the higher side, but this is made up for by the excellent quality and professional service. Here you really pay for what you get, and that is a great experience!

The atmosphere is relaxed. Fortunately, a restaurant that has the heating on. We eat quickly at many other restaurants because of the cold. But here we did everything at our leisure. Nice dinner. The food is delicious!

Last Saturday we had dinner at Bella Milano with a large group of people, our compliments that they managed to serve everything right away. Delicious food, super friendly service and good quality. We thank the team for the pleasant evening and certainly hope to come back.

It's been a while, but the quality, atmosphere and service are simply great. Beautifully located on the water. Very friendly and hospitable reception, helpful and an eye for the customer in need. Food was delicious, recommended fish soup, really filling. You could swallow the main course, it was so tender. Also generous portion. Tiramisu delicious. Service pays attention to the customer, not pushy, sincere and cordial. Asks when you want the next course, which is nice. Definitely come here more.

Celebrated my parents' 60th wedding anniversary on the terrace with 29 people. Perfectly organized and the food was delicious! All guests were very satisfied and full of praise. They are also very nice, compassionate people. Highly recommended, next party there again!

Had a delicious meal here with a group of approximately 30 people in connection with an anniversary. It was also nice that each course was on the table for everyone at approximately the same time, which is quite a job with such a group. And that was not at the expense of the taste. Great service, very sweet owners who wanted and knew how to please us completely. We had the entire terrace for our 'private dinner' and were therefore able to enjoy all the boats passing by. I think the interior itself could be a bit more modern, but the delicious food, the pleasant service and the extremely attentive and sweet owners ensure that every time, just like now, we leave with a happy and pleasant feeling afterwards.

Hier heerlijk gegeten met een groep van ca. 30 personen in verband met een jubileum. Fijn was ook dat elke gang voor iedereen ongeveer tegelijk op tafel stond, wat toch een hele klus is met zo'n groep. En dat ging niet ten koste van de smaak. Geweldige service, ontzettend lieve eigenaren die het ons helemaal naar de zin wilden en wisten te maken. Wij hadden het hele terras voor ons 'besloten diner' en konden daardoor ook genieten van alle langsvarende bootjes. Het interieur op zich zou van mij wat moderner mogen, maar het lekkere eten, de prettige bediening en de lieve betrokkenheid van de eigenaren zorgen er elke keer weer voor dat we, net als nu, na afloop met een blij en fijn gevoel weggaan.

Jullie hebben gister 25 augustus de catering verzorgd voor het 50 jarige huwelijk van mijn ouders… Dit was echt meer dan top! We raden jullie zeker aan als iemand iets te vieren heeft ❤️

Toprestaurant op een toplocatie met een menukaart vol met topgerechten. Samen met vrienden culinair genoten van een aangeboden diner ter gelegenheid van ons 50-jarig huwelijk. Het was in alle opzichten goed toeven. Mooie tafel aan het raam met zicht op het Waaltje. Heel attent worden of de screens neergelaten of werd het raam geopend als de zon of de warmte dat nodig maakte. Alle gerechten waren van verse producten bereid en voldeden aan de smaak- en kwaliteitsverwachtingen. Ook de wijnen waren passend bij de gerechten. De bediening was professioneel, vriendelijk met voor ieder een persoonlijk woord. Wij zullen zeker hier opnieuw gaan eten. Tot ziens...!

The best pizza in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, pick up through the separate door (narrow passage). Always takes 'a little' longer than the agreed time, but not annoying.

Beautiful (family) business and good food. I do think the price per dish is high. Why? The pizzas +/- €20 each are made on ready-made bases (not hand-rolled) A melanzane for over €20 resembles a starter with a lot of sauce and little bite. Waiting staff serve, but also make the desserts (remove from the refrigerator + add sauce and you're done). Nice to have eaten here, but in my opinion it is not well matched in terms of price/quality. 2 simple dishes and 2 drinks: almost €50 Given the limited choice in Craft, people will be quickly satisfied, I guess ;-)

How much you are appreciated here as a customer! We knew Bella Milano from home delivery. Quality was head and shoulders above other Italians at that time. I now ended up in the restaurant itself by pure coincidence. Fortunately, we were able to reserve a table very shortly in advance. This Italian restaurant is run by a real Italian family. The menu is very extensive with a wide choice of pizzas, pastas, salads, fish and meat dishes. But there are also plenty of vegetarian options available. The wine list is well composed. Recommended after dinner: home-made limoncello and some other home-made liqueurs, ask the owner. The restaurant is attractively decorated, but don't feel embarrassed in a T-shirt and jeans, there is no exaggeration here. The service is excellent, very polite and with attention to every visitor. This makes you feel like a valued customer. I highly recommend Bella Milano and we will definitely eat here more often.

Wat wordt je hier als klant gewaardeerd! We kenden Bella Milano van het thuisbezorgen. Kwaliteit stak toen ook met al met kop en schouders boven andere Italianen uit. Stomtoevallig nu in het restaurant zelf terecht gekomen. Heel kort van tevoren konden we gelukkig nog een tafel reserveren. Dit Italiaanse restaurant word gerund door een echte Italiaanse familie. De kaart is erg uitgebreid met een ruime keuze aan pizza's, pasta's, salades, vis en vleesgerechten. Maar ook vegetarische keuzes zijn voldoende aanwezig. De wijnkaart is prima samengesteld. Aanrader na het diner: de huisgemaakte limoncello en nog wat andere huisgemaakte likeurtjes, vraag erom aan de eigenaar. Het restaurant is sfeervol ingericht, maar voel jezelf absoluut niet bezwaard in een t-shirt en spijkerbroek, er wordt hier niet hoog van de toren geblazen. De service is uitmuntend, zeer beleefd en met aandacht voor elke bezoeker. Je voelt je hierdoor een gewaardeerde klant. Ik beveel Bella Milano van harte aan, we zullen hier zeker vaker wat gaan eten.

In een gezellige restaurant verwelkomt je een heel enthousiaste gastvrouw. Er is een mogelijkheid om een tafeltje te reserveren met zicht op het water. Vriendelijke bediening en een mooie menukaart. De keuze is zeer groot. We hebben gekozen om vis te eten. Elk een andere bereiding. De vis was zo vers dat je het zeewater nog kon ruiken. Een van de weinige restaurants waar verse vis ook echt verse vis is. We hebben genoten van iedere hap en de prachtige smaken. Het is een aanrader om te verblijven en je te laten verwennen door een fantastisch team die hun vak verstaan. We hebben zeer genoten. Chapeau.
