We happened to sit on a terrace here, but were incredibly surprised. The staff were incredibly friendly and smartly dressed. We ordered drinks and a pastry. The pastry was presented so beautifully...with love, so to speak. The terrace was packed with people for a reason. Very pleasant. When we dine out again, I can't wait to choose this restaurant; the menu is already delicious.

Ben, it was fantastic again tonight. We thoroughly enjoyed your honest dishes. The wolf is all over the news, but they're keeping their hands off one wolf. That was the surprise of the evening... the wolffish.

The food tasted good but was very small, and you'll go home hungry. Side dishes were suddenly charged without being mentioned. The service is friendly.

We found this place through Social Deal and opted for the 4-course surprise menu, and what a surprise! We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious, exceptional combinations of flavors and colors. Everything was served quickly and with great friendliness by the staff, who knew and explained everything we had booked. Highly recommended.

We visited the Lagerhuis on Sunday morning and were able to sit outside on the large terrace. The service was very good and friendly; we had delicious apple pie with a perfectly paired caramel sauce and cheesecake. The chef was also there and showed me the elegant interior, which is a plus for many Germans; he speaks perfect German. If we're ever in Wolvega again, we'll definitely stop by the Lagerhuis again. The price/performance ratio is good.

Very good restaurant with good service and cozy atmosphere with a wide choice of wines! I ate Carpaccio Suprim there the day before yesterday and it was delicious with a Gin Tonic which is also excellent I can't think of a better place with a beautiful terrace and very good service very nice are the people who serve there. This Saturday and Sunday you have a six course menu and a guarantee that you will not leave disappointed. You must make a reservation this weekend 12-04-2025 - 13-04-2025 then the nice weather is also there. The kitchen opens around 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM. And otherwise it normally closes at 00:00, it also depends on how many people are still there, but that is around 00:00. A good recommendation in Wolvega is the best place to eat and drink. ♥️🍀.

Booked via social deals. 5 course menu. So expectations were high. Disappointing because the main course was chicken cordon blue, it couldn't have been cheaper. Dessert was the most unappetizing lemon ice cream with a dollop of whipped cream and a dry piece of cake. It certainly wasn't worth the price, maybe because it was booked through social deals? Normally good experiences at other restaurants with social deals. But in this restaurant it was mediocre.

What a wonderful evening we had! We received a warm welcome, the employees are all very hospitable, the food was really delicious! Worth repeating!!

Delicious dishes, just a little bit different. Extensive map. Side dishes very diverse. Excellent chef and compliments to the staff. A restaurant that does not skimp on good staff, that was noticeable. We came across this by chance, but will definitely come back.

Hospitality at its best Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by host Ruben, who immediately put us at ease. His enthusiasm, expertise and eye for detail made us feel really welcome. A culinary tour de force The kitchen of Het Lagerhuis surprised us enormously. The chef and his team have created a beautiful menu with great passion and craftsmanship, where each dish was a work of art in itself. The presentation was refined and the flavor combinations were perfectly balanced. We started with a subtle amuse, followed by a refined starter with beautiful ingredients. The different courses were each a taste explosion, with fresh, savory and sweet elements coming together perfectly. The presentation of the plates was a feast for the eyes – as beautiful as they were tasty! The dessert was a perfect end to the evening: a wonderfully light and creamy creation that was not only beautifully presented, but also tasted delicious. N.a.v. the reviews honors the House of Commons from Wolvega with a reservation with the aim of having a nice bite to eat, but that turned out to be a deception, my lady and the undersigned go away every weekend to eat in restaurants in Friesland and Groningen and there are very good ones according to us, so now to the House of Commons in Wolvega, welcome excellent and friendly, we were assigned a table for 4 people that was completely set for 4 people, cutlery, glasses, etc. were not missing got it!!, then asked for the wine list and ordered bitterballen, 7 pieces!! are on the menu at the House of Commons, we would like 8, fine, pay one extra, no problem, unfortunately we were presented with 7, miscommunication??, the selected wine was unfortunately no longer available, so at the request of our host, a new exclusive white wine was selected after a long time. wandering and hesitating, our host appeared again at our table with apologies that this wine was not there either, we have never experienced this before, the friendliness was gone, ordered two cups of coffee, paid after many fives and sixes, dealing with the cash register and PIN equipment did not work smoothly either, a shame a missed opportunity, we will certainly not be back, so we do not recommend this restaurant.

We were there for a belly dance show on a theme night. Great live music, plenty of room to dance, everything neat, super cozy & atmospheric and everyone friendly and helpful, highly recommended!

This restaurant is located in the center of Wolvega. We were warmly greeted upon entry. Nice and attractive decor with friendly and prompt service. We enjoyed a 3-course lunch with a delicious glass of wine. We had tom kan kai soup as a starter, then a flammkuchen and a delicious cheesecake for dessert. Enjoy this delicious lunch in total.

In het centrum van Wolvega ligt dit restaurant. We werden bij binnenkomst hartelijk begroet. Leuke en sfeervolle inrichting met een vriendelijke en vlotte bediening. We hebben genoten van een 3-gangen lunch met een heerlijk wijntje erbij. We hadden tom kan kai soep vooraf, daarna een flammkuchen en als dessert een een heerlijke cheesecake. Al met genieten van deze heerlijke lunch.

We tried the shared dining concept. The food was really delicious but very small portions. It also took a very long time before the next round came. We sat for almost 3 hours. We ordered fries in between because we were just hungry. The service was super friendly. This was once for us, but not again.

Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en attent. Helaas viel de geserveerde spijsen tegen. Voorgerecht gravad lax waarvan de zalm geen goede zalm was smaakte niet, evenals de garnalencocktail die daar echt niet op leek. De kip milanese was een gepaneerd stukje kip(?) met wat tomaten ketchup en de Iberico was echt geen Rolls Royce met slechte saus die de smaak van het vlees geen recht deed, zonde! Geen aanbeveling waard.

The food is very good, but what I find especially special is the hospitality. I immediately felt welcome by the kindness of Ruben and Jesse. The lady with black hair was also very attentive and complimented me on my dress. They are fast, alert to empty glasses, explain everything very well, know about wine-food combinations and think along well. This is real hospitality, where you are seen and not just a number. Definitely worth repeating☺️

Chose the chef's surprise menu and we were really surprised. Haven't eaten this well in a while. Everything is just right here and everyone knows what they are doing and they are having a good time with each other. It's that we live so far away, otherwise we would definitely come more often. Tapas gehad met 6 personen. Smaak was oke ..maar erg weinig. Kleine gerechtjes om te delen. Was echt niet genoeg voor de hele tafel.

Als je in Wolvega wilt dineren is dit "the place to be". Wij waren er drie avonden. Lekkere gerechten, visueel aantrekkelijk en een leuk, jong team dat zorg draagt voor de klanten. De chef komt persoonlijk aan tafel vragen of alles naar je zin is. Toch altijd een meerwaarde. Mijn persoonlijke favoriete gerecht was de steak tartaar. (Voorgerecht). Mag zeker ook bij de hoofdgerechten komen. Surf en turf viel ook enorm in de smaak. De bijgerechtjes deden mij eerst bedenkelijk fronsen...maar vreemd genoeg leken de ietwat verrassende combinaties te werken. Als Belg is het natuurlijk moeilijk om mij blij te maken met (onze trots), " de friet". Die was naar vlaamse normen wat slap. Maar dat werd dan weer goed gemaakt door een heerlijke zwarte sambuca als digestief. Dank aan de chef en zijn team. Paul Van Gompel

Helaas een afknapper. Leuk en spontaan ontvangst. Gezellige sfeer in het restaurant, maar bestel echt niet Shiring diner voor 2 personen. Wat dat moest voorstellen weet ik niet, maar de hoeveelheid per gerecht was erg klein en wat je kreeg zeer eenvoudig. Jammer.

Wat een geweldig restaurant! Dit is uit eten gaan, werkelijk alle bestelde gerechten waren verassend! Alles had een eigen smaak, hier is aandacht besteed aan het eten en dat proef je! Ik kan zeggen dat het zonde is om ergens anders te gaan eten als je hier ook kunt gaan eten. Een echte aanrader en ik ga hier vele malen terug komen met iedereen doe goed eten kan waarderen.

Wij hebben gekozen voor het shared dining arrangement. 10 kleine gerechtjes die allemaal erg lekker waren. Beginnend met een amuse en 4 koude en daarna 4 warme afsluiten met echt een topdessert. zeker een aanrader! Vriendelijk personeel en goede sfeer Al met al een zeer prettige avond gehad

Was redelijk mancave allemaal. Eten lage kwaliteit. Personeel erg aardig en behulpzaam.

Heerlijk hapje gegeten vanavond. Niet gereserveerd maar gelukkig mooi weer voor het terras. De kinderstoel voor onze zoon werd na het vragen gebracht en een extra bordje en bestek kregen we ook. Een leuk tasje met wat krijtjes en speelgoed voor de kleine, zo hielden we hem wel zoet. We vonden alle 3 het eten heerlijk, de bijgerechten zaten boordevol smaak. Bediening vriendelijk, jammer dat het rustig was op het pleintje en het terras. Bedankt en we komen snel eens samen voor de shared dining!
