Great shop, friendly staff and good food

Old charm and friendly service. Add great food to the mix and it’s a winner. Definitely worth stopping here for great food.

Well here we go, not nice, ordered schnitzel with fried potatoes and lettuce today. Got unfried potatoes only rolled in butter and the breading of the schnitzel was also still pale. After I complained, explained that this was unacceptable to me and would get a new plate. Then got exactly the same unfried potatoes and schnitzel again. When I asked the staff do you eat this yourself at home, I got the answer no. Why do you put it on my table then, it was said that no one complained. Pfffff. Not good, never come here again.

I will start by saying that I work all over the country, and today I was in Wolvega, I was quite hungry and as always I look for a nice place to eat, and this was it, I didn't have much break time so I called in advance to see if they could start with my dish, I got a very nice lady on the line who started with my dish right away, when I came in my food was ready in a moment, you can't start better, and then the food arrived, I didn't expect much for €10+- but man oh man, you get a lot for your money and it is also nicely presented, the soup was really delicious, the egg on bread was delicious with tasty ham & cheese on it, finally a croquette sandwich which was also a big fine, and you also get a nice salad on your plate. All in all a big 10, location easily accessible, ample parking, and you get good and tasty food, and nice employees, until next time : )

Excellent food. The schnitzel could have been a little bigger in my opinion 😀. Fries might have been overbaked a little too long. Nothing else to comment on.

Nice place, good food and very hospitable! Everything looks neat! For the driver they really do their best to make a place to park! Plus you can also go to the toilet at night!

Delicious meal for 12 hours...very friendly service

For everyone (truck drivers, tourists, fathers and mothers, grandfathers and grandmothers (with or without grandchildren) to get off the highway for a while to have a nice bite to eat and drink in a very friendly atmosphere for a great price. Whether it's a full meal, a snack, or just a drink. It doesn't matter at all. It's a great place to be. And: free parking next to the door.

Found this cute “away-from-home restaurant” by chance. The owner is very helpful and accommodating. You are immediately greeted with friendliness and the car drivers even park their cars for trucks. There is a nice, clean shower with toilet for truck drivers. No extra charge! I'm here with the Felbermayr truck, so there's enough space for special transports. Of course with moderation and purpose, it will be tight for even larger chassis. ;) The city with a number of shopping opportunities can also be reached on foot within 20 minutes. I am extremely excited and more than satisfied. I will definitely come here again on my next transport to the Netherlands.

Cozy and cozy restaurant, friendly, hospitable and affordable!

Take a break in this attractive, warm eatery. Top furnished with good chairs, no hard planks. My bouncer was top notch, as was the stew for my wife with a large piece of smoked sausage, even their own gravy, they had taken care of. Not unimportant, delicious coffee that was nice and hot, not the lukewarm one that they make everywhere. Highly recommended for everyone Gr Albert and Els

Called at 6:30 PM to say I could be there at 7:30 PM, no problem, always welcome and come have another meal. Code for shower/toilet. I will definitely come back and can highly recommend this roadside restaurant.

Tasty food and fast service. Ideal if you want a good meal on the go. But why were you closed last Tuesday? :( I drove there especially for it!! Can you imagine how good you can eat here haha

Beautiful trucker café. Large truck combinations can park here very easily. And if you have eaten here once, you will definitely come back. Especially when you ride such a large combination. Recommended for transport in the Netherlands.

The food was good value for money.. Unfortunately, they had mixed up our order with another one... this meant that our food took a little longer, as our son almost fell asleep and we asked if the fries were ready... the waitress did not communicate this in a customer-friendly manner... the chef resolved this well afterwards during serving it.

Yesterday we spontaneously sat down on the terrace at the Stoof. We received a great welcome and what was even better was a delicious meal. Thank you very much and you will see us again soon.

We like to eat here when we are at the campsite in Friesland. It is always super tasty and more than enough without too much fuss. The price is also just right and the staff is always in good spirits. The atmosphere is nice and casual and very homely. Highly recommended. See you soon, maybe later😀

Perfect place, wonderfully quiet off the highway. Space for 4-5 trucks, but there is great consideration when it is full. A little further there is a transport company where you can always park after consultation. Super friendly pub owner, delicious food for normal prices. Good shower, located in a separate driver's cabin with toilet and coffee maker, which is accessible all night long. There had to be many more! Until the next!

We've been driving past it for years and we thought: now we'll have lunch there. That was very disappointing... during the 12 hours a large part of the soup had gone over the sandwiches. The hamburger was “cardboard”… no, we were probably unlucky, but we won't be back

We belden om kwart over zes of we nog welkom waren met 8 personen na het EK schaatsen. Ze sluiten om 19.00. Ja hoor, was geen probleem. Ze bleven gewoon wat langer open!

Een leuke plek om te eten en te overnachten. Leuke bediening en eten was goed voor elkaar. Parkeerplaats is niet groot maar de luxe wagens werden weggezet om Parkeerplaats vrij te maken.

Heerlijk eten voor een eerlijke prijs, met bonuspunten voor het serveren van een overheerlijk nagerecht. Echt een pluspunt in verhouding tot andere restaurants.

Mijn hemel, je komt toevallig langs omdat je wat voorraadrekken moet ophalen in Wolvega, wordt je toch getrakteerd op gastvrijheid, heerlijk eten en een prachtige omgeving Ga zo door, wij komen heel zeker weten terug voor de tonic-jus met ijs en de bitterlemon-jus met ijs

Het was ontzettend druk waardoor niet alles even soepel verliep. Waarschijnlijk zal dat ongetwijfeld verbeteren wanneer dit jonge bedrijf wat meer ervaring krijgt.

Een 12 uurtje gehad, was Lekker en goed verzorgd. Vriendelijke personeel.
