Yesterday, my boyfriend surprised me and took me to this restaurant. We loved the food. The picture shows the salmon, as I'd already plated my dish (de volaye), so I'm not including a picture. The presentation was very nice – but for me, it's the taste that counts. The duck broth was very good, the salads (about five) were also very good, and the fries, served with some spices, were also to my liking. I'm a bit disappointed because I'd like to try something else there. The portions are large, enough to fill you up. I hope we can go back. I really recommend it ❤️

We visited restaurant 'Silver - Wine and Dine' on a quiet Thursday evening in July and were warmly welcomed by chef Corrie herself. With over 50 years of experience in hospitality and the mouthwatering photos online, our expectations were high... Originally, we booked a four-course dinner featuring dishes from Corrie’s recently published cookbook. But after tasting the refined amuses, we decided to upgrade to five courses. That turned out to be an excellent choice. Each course celebrated vegetables, texture and balance in a creative way. From pastrami with garden peas and carrot, to beautifully prepared golden beetroot, earthy mushrooms with truffle, a perfectly cooked dry aged entrecote with carrot, and finally a light but inventive dessert based on strawberries. Every dish was presented with care and explained with passion. One of the standout elements of this place is chef Corrie’s visible presence. She mentors her team of kitchen and service trainees with expertise. The entire menu also is both gluten free and lactose free by default, which makes it inclusive without compromising on quality or taste. Because it was a quiet evening, Corrie even took time to chat with us. We enjoyed the experience so much that we decided to buy her cookbook on the spot. It is filled with zero waste recipes and useful culinary tips. The wine pairing was another highlight. As both chef and sommelier, Corrie sometimes works in reverse and adjusts the dishes to match the selected wine. This approach felt fresh and made every pairing feel intentional and well thought out. Since I had to drive home, I opted for the sip arrangement. It offered more than just a taste, but still allowed me to enjoy each wine responsibly. This is not your typical fine dining experience. It is a place full of personality and creative choices. We truly enjoyed our evening and look forward to returning. In the meantime, we will be cooking from her book at home!

I ordered once, but a week later, my first pickup from them went horribly wrong. They were still happily keeping the door closed during opening hours, even though they watched us (with children) wait outside three times. We ended up waiting for 30 minutes and rang the doorbell several times before leaving. The staff there have no manners and don't deserve customers if this is their behavior.
