Retro Fusion - polska restauracja in Stadshart

Yesterday, my boyfriend surprised me and took me to this restaurant. We loved the food. The picture shows the salmon, as I'd already plated my dish (de volaye), so I'm not including a picture. The presentation was very nice – but for me, it's the taste that counts. The duck broth was very good, the salads (about five) were also very good, and the fries, served with some spices, were also to my liking. I'm a bit disappointed because I'd like to try something else there. The portions are large, enough to fill you up. I hope we can go back. I really recommend it ❤️

The best Polish restaurant in Lelystad – and the only one, but what a unique one! The place is beautiful – clean, well-maintained, with a warm atmosphere that immediately feels like home. The staff is incredibly friendly, smiling, and very helpful – it's a pleasure to be a guest! And the food? Simply heavenly. I had the Hungarian pancake – and seriously, it tasted like my grandmother made it! The meat was tender, perfectly seasoned, and melted in my mouth. The pancake itself was crispy, fresh, and fragrant – a true poetry of flavor. The soups are a whole other story: the żurek (sour rye soup) – a marvel, perfectly sour, thick, and aromatic. The broth – like Sunday's at Mom's, clear, full of flavor. And the pork tenderloin – juicy, tender, and perfectly prepared. This place is a true gem on the Lelystad map. The only Polish restaurant in town, and the cuisine is truly made with love. You can feel the passion and respect for Polish tradition in every bite. I highly recommend it to everyone – both Poles craving flavors from home and anyone who wants to experience true Polish cuisine. I will definitely be back and encourage everyone to try it – because it's truly worth it!

Delicious! The broth is unlike anything I've ever had – truly amazing. The pork tenderloin and Hungarian pancake are so good I could eat them every day. I'll definitely be back! ❤️

This is exactly the kind of restaurant I've been looking for. It's hard to please, but the food there is exactly how it should be! It was delicious, and the service was very friendly, and you can immediately feel the customer care. I highly recommend it!

Hello. Today we had dinner for two people. I ordered the żurek and a roulade with Silesian dumplings, the second course we ordered was a pancake with Hungarian goulash. As for the żurek, it was good but I missed the acidity. The roulade was also good but there was probably bread or other baked goods in the filling, that's my impression. I couldn't call it a Hungarian goulash because the taste of paprika and spices should stand out which would indicate a Hungarian dish, which is why I only give 3 stars when it comes to dishes.

Very good food, nice service. The only downside is the lack of beer 😌

I was there for the first time on Sunday. From the very moment I entered, I was greeted very nicely by the man at the bar and the waitress. Service at a very high level, very communicative. The borscht recommended by the staff was simply amazing. The second course was very tasty. There's not much more to say, the restaurant is highly recommended and I will definitely come back soon. A charming and delightful place that really suits our tastes; with food, decor, and cultural and homely service at the highest level. The toilet is clean and fragrant. The bathroom is equipped with accessories for women, and even for the hygiene of small children like no other place. There is also a corner with toys for children. In addition, we received a sweet dessert for the trip in the form of delicious donuts. We will definitely visit this beautiful, fairy-tale place with fabulous flavors and service. Finally, food in the Netherlands that is not only at a good price in terms of quality to price, but also the portions are not poor, if you are looking for a place with a very nice atmosphere, the employees are nice, polite and do not look like they are fed up with the work, and the cuisine is so tasty that your taste buds remind you of the times of dinner at grandma's, I definitely recommend this restaurant. I will add that after talking to the cook, it turns out that the meat, bread and other products are imported from Poland, and not just any of the cheapest producers. Everything was fresh and very good for a price adequate to the quality of the meal 😁 I RECOMMEND WITH A CLEAR CONSCIENCE

Tempted by positive opinions, I went for Sunday lunch, but unfortunately the dinner was a bit disappointing. After a long period of waiting for the dishes, it turned out that there were pieces of sand in my salad mix, which was the decoration... At the very end, we ordered dessert and were informed by the waitress that the only dessert today was the "dessert of the day", i.e. apple strudel. Then it turned out that the people next door got cow cheesecake. At the very end they charged twice for the cheesecake instead of the cake of the day. Generally, tasty dishes, they could be a little warmer, e.g. oscypek cheese, but our visit did not fully meet our expectations

We walked through Lelystad and wanted to eat, but no restaurant caught our attention, except Retro Fusion. They still had the Christmas decorations in the window and it was so 'Retro' that we went in without any hesitation. We received the menu and were told the daily menu - Beef roulade with Knödel, Red cabbage salad and warm vegetables (I think white or China cabbage with fresh dill). We had a very tasty meal and enjoyed it, a truly traditional meal. Simply delicious!!

Delicious food, in a nice atmosphere. We were a group of 16 people and yet we were served efficiently. The staff took care of everything. We felt very good there and ate everything with relish. We recommend this place and the cuisine. We'll be happy to come back there❣️
