Restaurant Silver Wine & Dine in Stadshart

We visited restaurant 'Silver - Wine and Dine' on a quiet Thursday evening in July and were warmly welcomed by chef Corrie herself. With over 50 years of experience in hospitality and the mouthwatering photos online, our expectations were high... Originally, we booked a four-course dinner featuring dishes from Corrie’s recently published cookbook. But after tasting the refined amuses, we decided to upgrade to five courses. That turned out to be an excellent choice. Each course celebrated vegetables, texture and balance in a creative way. From pastrami with garden peas and carrot, to beautifully prepared golden beetroot, earthy mushrooms with truffle, a perfectly cooked dry aged entrecote with carrot, and finally a light but inventive dessert based on strawberries. Every dish was presented with care and explained with passion. One of the standout elements of this place is chef Corrie’s visible presence. She mentors her team of kitchen and service trainees with expertise. The entire menu also is both gluten free and lactose free by default, which makes it inclusive without compromising on quality or taste. Because it was a quiet evening, Corrie even took time to chat with us. We enjoyed the experience so much that we decided to buy her cookbook on the spot. It is filled with zero waste recipes and useful culinary tips. The wine pairing was another highlight. As both chef and sommelier, Corrie sometimes works in reverse and adjusts the dishes to match the selected wine. This approach felt fresh and made every pairing feel intentional and well thought out. Since I had to drive home, I opted for the sip arrangement. It offered more than just a taste, but still allowed me to enjoy each wine responsibly. This is not your typical fine dining experience. It is a place full of personality and creative choices. We truly enjoyed our evening and look forward to returning. In the meantime, we will be cooking from her book at home!

We dined at Silver for the first time, and it made a very positive first impression. They can accommodate all dietary requirements (including halal), provided we communicate them in advance. The dishes are well-conceived, and the flavors and textures blend perfectly. This certainly won't be our last visit! The staff is also very friendly. Kudos to the team!

The Wine Sip pairing proved to be an excellent choice: smaller glasses of carefully selected wines that perfectly complemented each dish. The sommelier provided clear and accessible explanations, with a fine balance of expertise and enthusiasm. You can tell they're passionate about their work here. The service also deserves a compliment: friendly, professional, and attentive to the right moments. The pace between courses was pleasant; you have the space to enjoy yourself, without it feeling sluggish. Conclusion: Restaurant Silver knows how to offer guests a complete evening out. The Surprise Tasting Menu is a culinary journey full of refinement, and the Wine Sip package completes the experience. What a culinary surprise we discovered last night in Lelystad! I had made a reservation for 7:00 PM and from the very first moment we were welcomed with great hospitality. The menu was a complete surprise and we were served a special aperitif beforehand – a wonderful start to the evening. We chose the BOB wine arrangement with the 6-course menu, and that turned out to be a perfect choice. What followed was a true taste sensation: six wonderful dishes + 3 rounds of amuses, each beautifully presented, colorful and with surprising flavor combinations that were perfectly balanced. The chef took the time to explain each dish in detail, and we also received a nice explanation about the carefully selected wines. We received all the attention and were truly pampered. There was also enough time for a nice chat with the waiter/sommelier, which made the evening extra personal and relaxed. In short: it was a fantastic evening and we immediately have a favorite restaurant! We will be back in two weeks for the tasting – we are already looking forward to it!

If you want to have a fine dinner, you can do that here! Had a nice 6-course menu, with amuses and a perfect (half glass) wine tasting arrangement. Great service, attentive staff, nice owner (also the chef). All dishes are presented super, both in the presentation of plates and in the explanation of the waitresses (or chef himself!). We will definitely come back here! Also because the price quality is excellent. I will keep an eye on the website and socials in any case!

Had a wonderful evening yesterday where we were able to experience the 10-course Tasting. A delight with diverse themes and each with delicious flavors and its own depth. We also had a wine tasting to experience the flavors and refinement of the chosen wines with each course. We are spoiled. Enjoyed it and we thank Corrie and her young kitchen brigade. Last Thursday, as Ledysted residents, we ate here for the first time because we had something special to celebrate. The food and the accompanying wines are a special experience, both in terms of taste and the way the dishes are served. The 4 appetizers and the 4 courses are real works of art and provide a great taste explosion. The treats offered with coffee also turned out to be of a surprisingly high standard, but we thought it was a bit lame that they were charged separately. Furthermore, the pace could have been a little slower for us, but that is of course very personal. In short, highly recommended for a special occasion or to surprise family and friends.

We went for a 12 course tasting menu. Well prepared, good flavours.Interesting experience. Well done to the students that prepared it all, you did well. Paired with a wine tasting. There is 4 minus points... 1. it all took to long after 5.5 hours we had enough...so much so that we were to tired to enjoy desert. 2. 3 out of the 4 people in our party dont drink alcohol, they were more concernd about the 1 person drinking...we werent asked what we would like. I had to ask is it ok if we get something else to drink ( i shouldnt have to ask). 3. wine tasting they kept the same glass for all the wines.( not sure its suppose to work like that.) 4. They used the same cutlery for all dishes ( somewhere i do understand it, but if you do something high end do it properly ). Overall nice place. Good host.

We took advantage of the XL tasting. This was only in the period from July 17 to July 27. There were 30 dishes on the menu and you could make your own choice with a minimum of 6 dishes. Choice of starters, intermediate courses, main courses and desserts. The plates were works of art and what a taste sensation! We had a delicious meal and thought this was a very nice concept. As we have already indicated to the owner, we hope that Silver will do this tasting more often, then we will definitely come back.

Great meal with end of year lunch from work. It was a very nice experience with matching wine and very clear explanations by the owner and hostess. Tasted very different dishes. Different types of diets of colleagues were also taken into account. Highly recommended. The price is indeed a bit higher but it is definitely worth it and I will definitely go back again.

Awesome experience! We don't often eat at this level, so I don't think we're used to much. It was a pricey trip for us, but definitely worth the money. Delicious food, delicious wines, and great service. The personal attention was great, everything was well explained and substantiated. We will definitely come back again.

Yesterday (September 29) we had a delicious meal at restaurant silver. Well taken care of by the chef/hostess from start to finish. Very nice wine, with excellent food. Compliments to the kitchen for the beautifully and deliciously served food. Also very impressed by the tranquility and quality that the restaurant radiated. It was great that I was also allowed to go into the kitchen. We celebrated my birthday at this restaurant, we had to save some money for it, but it was more than worth the money. We had the 6 course surprise menu. Pass on the preferences/exceptions, which were neatly repeated before we went to eat. Michelin star-like menu and presentation, in my opinion, not inferior to Het Roode Koper in Ermelo. It's a bit pricey, but you actually get something. Half wines also possible, so you can taste a little more. We sat close to the kitchen, which provides a good view of the cooking through a glass wall Surprisingly quiet (holiday period) there were two tables occupied The menu was generally very good. Nice portions, nice decoration and good flavors. Would definitely come back again, the cooking is seriously good and well prepared. Bright spot in Lelystad! Walked in a bit 'underdressed', but was kindly welcomed by the owner. It is a special restaurant with its own (socially responsible) philosophy. Lots of vegetables in many variations. Beautifully laid out. The matching wines have been selected with care. Every dish and every glass of wine is explained. A total surprise for us after our search through Lelystad. An absolute must if you are ever in Lelystad.

Dit is hoe uit eten hoort te zijn! Wij komen snel weer terug!

Afgelopen week een hele fijne avond gehad bij Silver. Alles was goed verzorgd. Originele gerechten en stuk voor stuk een feest om te zien en proeven. Echt om je vingers (of bord) bij af te likken! Goede bijpassende wijnen ook. Mooie moderne zaak met een fijne sfeer. Vriendelijke bediening. De chef kwam bij elk gerecht aan tafel om uit te leggen welk lekkers hij had bereid. We hadden een 5-gangen diner. De porties vielen niet tegen, op wellicht het hoofdgerecht (entrecote) na, die was in verhouding wat klein. Het tempo was goed, niet te veel of weinig tijd tussen de gerechten door. Een heerlijke onbezorgde avond dus! We komen graag nog een keer terug!

Heerlijke avond gehad met mijn vriend bij restaurant silver. Je kunt zien dat er aandacht is besteed aan alle details. Het eten verraste me, de sfeer was goed en er was vriendelijk personeel.

De gastvrouw verteld passievol over het gerecht en de daarbijbehorende wijnen. Het is echt een mooie avond uit om niet meer te vergeten. Ook de haal en breng service is heel fijn zo kun je gerust beiden genieten van een wijnarrangement. Dank jullie wel voor deze mooie ervaring.

In onze ogen het beste restaurant van Lelystad. Erg origineel in de gerechten die je krijgt. Het eten smaakt daarnaast ook nog eens geweldig. Hele mooie zaak, schoon en verzorgd. Silver is wel het hogere segment dus houd wel rekening met wat hogere kosten. Wij komen hier graag terug.
