Watched the World Cup match, but we had to walk to the second bar ourselves to order; the staff could have been a bit more proactive.

Waited over 2 hours, the food finally arrived but everything was cold. Spareribs cold, chicken and fries cold too. Not recommended. Terrible.

Tasty food and a nice atmosphere.

A very nice, authentic restaurant located right in the Leonardo Hotel City. The service was very attentive and quick. My burger was perfect. I would have preferred a more colorful selection of grilled vegetables, as there were only two types. The "Beeramisu" was absolutely delicious and exactly to my taste! All in all, I highly recommend a visit here!

Nice cold beer. The chicken always gives me diarrhea. Maybe wash it well? It always tastes good though. One time they added one beer too many to the bill; not a big deal for once, but I hope it doesn't happen more often. Otherwise, friendly service. On busy evenings, do reserve in advance; it fills up quickly.

Went for drinks here yesterday with old colleagues! It was really fun, the glasses stayed full, had some good food, played a game, my evening couldn't have been better.

This review is for Amy I dined there in February and promised I’d post a review. Sorry this is late! Amy was our server and she was so patient and kind to me and my colleague while travelling for work. The food was incredible - truffle fries were amazing, the poussin was also amazing. Thank you so much for everything Amy!

After a wonderful day, we dined at the Bierfabriek. We reserved quite some time ago and arrived at 5:50 PM. We had two nice beer tap tables and a menu that had been discussed in advance. The starter snacks were fine, but they did take a while to arrive. After asking twice how much longer it would take for our delicious chicken to arrive (due to our other commitments), we received our dishes at 8:15 PM without cutlery or napkins, and just as the chicken was almost finished, the fries arrived. We didn't have time for dessert. Good food, poor service, and poor handling. For 12 people, the compensation was €63: €48 for the dessert we didn't receive and €15 for the drinks and the long wait. We did get a complimentary shot, though. Sorry, but you won't be seeing anyone from this group again.

Cozy place! Perfect for a team outing (35 people) with delicious food and snacks, craft beer, and a fun pub quiz! Highly recommended!

The food tasted fine, but the portion sizes could have been better, especially the spareribs. There was also only a small amount of vegetables included, but no fries, which you had to order separately. The lemon curd (pie) was too sour, but the other desserts were fine.

The sing-along afternoon was very fun and enjoyable.

Great place to hangout with friends and try local beers. Unfortunately, when a bit more busy, kitchen gets backed up and they will refuse to take orders for an hour or more. One of the attractions, personal beer tap, was unavailable for us to use because we were only 4 people, which was disappointing. When we finally got the food, it was alright, chips were tasty, robs were a bit overcooked and dry. Overall, worth a visit but perhaps not on Friday evening

We had a super delicious meal at the Bierfabriek. The staff were also very friendly and no question was too much trouble. They even arranged for us to do the 1-meter Bierfabriek sharing experience with 2 people instead of 4. That way we could enjoy drinks all evening.

Right in the heart of Almere, on the Weerwater (Koetsierbaan), you'll find this excellent restaurant. No frills or fine dining, just a clear menu with pure, honest dishes prepared on a charcoal barbecue. They also brew their own beer, which gives it an extra special character. We enjoyed the relaxed and warm atmosphere, the tasty carpaccios, the perfectly prepared ribeyes, and the craft beers. Highly recommended for those who appreciate quality in a relaxed setting.

I had spare ribs, and the menu said the meat would be fall-off-the-forest, so tender...but that was disappointing. It wasn't tender either, and I didn't think the spring onions on the ribs complemented them. You also have to pay for every extra separately. Even if you order a starter, you practically don't need to order a main course. My wife's roasted cauliflower starter was actually even better than my spare ribs, and that starter was almost enough. And the grilled vegetables, the fries, and even the sweet potato fries... you had to pay for everything separately. Normally, you get something with your main course, but that wasn't the case here. I also didn't think the atmosphere was that great. The atmosphere was cold and the interior was chilly. It might be nice in the summer with a beer, which you can pour yourself at some tables...but I don't know how that works or whether you have to pay extra for it. But that wasn't why I came this time. Honestly, I'm not sure if I want to go back. The chairs and sofa weren't comfortable at all. Only the benches where you can pour your own drinks and eat looked better. But I doubt they'd actually be much more comfortable. After two hours, I'd had enough. All in all, a shame; I expected more.

I went to the Beer Factory in Almere with my "Valentina." I was probably too focused on the food instead of what the name implies (Beer Factory). Inside at 6:00 PM, food (chicken) on the table at 7:25 PM after asking three times... A free drink as compensation for the long wait, which of course didn't alleviate the irritation. Finally, I decided to finish with a ball of ice cream with whipped cream and a cappuccino for my girl. After 25 minutes, still no cappuccino... I asked for the bill and was done with it... the cappuccino was on the bill, though... Apologies again...

We weren't allowed to tap our own beer and a number of dishes/desserts were sold out – at half past seven on Friday night. Peculiar. The fries were soggy, though thankfully with real mayonnaise. The chicken (well, a small chicken) and burger were tasty. The lettuce wasn't super fresh and wasn't dressed. What was disappointing was that, even though we weren't eating in the event hall, the music blasted from the speaker above the table at dance volume. It made conversation impossible. Even after asking three times, it proved impossible to turn things down a bit. According to the staff, it was the DJ's fault. Friendly staff who disturbed us as little as possible. But all in all, this is definitely the last time for us.

Their crafted beers are nice. There's one with aroma of coffee and chocolate which is nice to try at least once! Check their program, some nights it could be crowded as there can be live music but it's nice also if you like dancing and Live music. If you want to chill out then visit at other times.

Unique cafe/restaurant with local beer and delicious food at an affordable price. For some dishes, you shouldn't be afraid to get your hands dirty (and enjoy the gnawing).

Last Sunday, we ordered a 1-meter board for 4 people. It was outrageous how little there was for all 4 people. And that was 30 euros per person. Price/quality is way too high for what you get.

Loved the place! Just had a drink but the staff was super nice.

Had high hopes from but turned out to a waste of an evening because of terribly slow service. First, the server (supervisor) refused to give us the table with the beer taps - because as it turns out it’s only for big groups. 5 out of 6 tables with beer taps were empty but still we were refused to take those tables. Anyhow, the beers were served within respectable time and the other server was very kind ( and very busy ). We ordered sweet potato fries, sticky cauliflower and special chicken. Fries were very nice, but the cauliflower portion was huge with pieces of a size of a tennis ball. HUGE!! The server told us that we were served one whole cauliflower!!! Then we waited for the chicken which never arrived. In total we waited 1hr 40mins, but it never came — it was always “in process”. NOTE - we placed complete order at the beginning. Finally we left without having the main course. Not coming back here anytime soon. The place is terribly understaffed, poor server was attending all tables and I actually felt bad for her.

Last Monday evening, my girlfriend and I dined here. We had a platter with various dishes. A whole roast chicken, spare ribs, and torpedo shrimp, served with a Caesar salad and two kinds of fries. It was delicious and plentiful! Even though it was a Monday evening and quite quiet, the decor with its many nooks and crannies made it very cozy! The service was quick and courteous. This is one of the best places in Almere, the chicken is always so tender and amazing, the quality has not changed since many years and it is just amazing. The beer is always fresh. I didn’t like the nachos that I ordered but ok. Over all, if you order chicken you are going to definitely have a good time.

On November 12th, we dined here with four people before going to the theater. The food was truly fantastic, as was the service. Very friendly staff and excellent service. They also took into account that we were going to a performance at the theater, giving us plenty of time to enjoy our meal. I had the sea bass, and I highly recommend it!

Oktoberfest is probably a fantastic party. It's a shame not everyone comes in costume.

The food at this restaurant is undoubtedly excellent; the chicken, in particular, was fantastic. We arrived at 6:30 PM, yet after our appetizer, we still had to wait over an hour for our main course, even though we repeatedly mentioned our 9:00 PM appointment. We finally made it just in time, but only by rushing. When our food finally arrived, it turned out they had forgotten an entire dish, along with the accompanying "world famous" sauce. This left one of us without any food at all. Our waitress did her utmost to resolve this issue politely and kindly and provided appropriate compensation—which was appreciated. Her male colleague, on the other hand, clearly didn't appreciate us pointing out the missing dish. He suddenly reacted very rudely to us, as if we were responsible for his mistake, and didn't even apologize. All in all: fantastic food, but the service really needs to improve to complete the experience.

Delicious food and drinks. Very friendly staff. The restaurant also looks nice, like a brewery. Definitely worth going back. September 25, 2025: Unfortunately, tonight wasn't the brewery's night. Good food, good beer, but we didn't see much of the staff. When we ordered dessert, my wife ordered coffee, and I ordered ice cream, we never saw the ice cream. We paid for it and didn't pay for the ice cream. No apology or anything, which is a shame.

The food is pretty good, albeith pricey. The atmosphere is a modern brew pup that needs better lighting and cleaning. The menu needs proper descriptions, the beers were never what I expected. It's mainly the waiting staff that doesn't know what they're doing. It wasn't clear who my waiter was, and they seemed to ignore overt hand signs. So I sat there with an empty beer glass in a brew pup.

As beer and chicken lovers we have been coming here for our date nights for some time now! Always good food, good atmosphere and our favorite beer ‘SNIPPERDAG’ is top quality every time! Even with the kids we come here for a nice dinner! We will definitely keep coming back!

The atmosphere and service were very good. The food unfortunately was a bit disappointing. The taste was fine but the main course of 1 person was not warm. This was otherwise solved by the staff.

What an incredibly disappointing experience at Bierfabriek Almere! After a wonderful evening at the theatre on 3/6/2025, I thought I would end my evening perfectly with a nice beer at your place. I had even checked the opening hours: until 23:00. Full of good cheer, I walked to you at 22:25, just 100 metres away. I arrived at 22:30, saw some people still sitting there and calmly looked for a spot. I looked at the menu, picked out my beer... and then came the blow: the tap was already closed! The employee came to tell me that the last round had already been. Seriously?! It is 22:30, the official closing time is 23:00 and you have already closed the tap? That is not only unacceptable from a customer-friendly point of view, it is misleading. If you are open until 23:00, I expect that I can still place an order until at least 22:45. Now I was standing in your place for nothing and I could go home with a heavy heart. This is really below all standards and has ruined my evening. I will not come back here again.

I'm not going to call this "the time of my life" as it was a simple boring wednesday; me and my partner wanted to have some good time after payday and we wanted something worth it... Well, this place is worth it... Look at the pics to get the idea, but all I'm saying, I'll be back very soon. And the food was actually great, burger and the prawns satisfy pretty well our desires. TOP TIPS: Get the table with the beer spiller if you can, you won't regret it... (or maybe you will... xD)

The atmosphere was good, music was really nice. Beer was also good but the food wasn’t. Buffalo chicken was fine. But Cauliflower and nachos were not really good. Cauliflower was sweet and saggy and nachos had no taste at all.

We waited 20 min to place our food order, so I got up and hunted down our waitress so we could place it. There were only 3 other tables and definitely not busy. Our drinks were never refilled unless I asked. She never checked on us once. I had to ask how to pay (at the bar). Beer is served in 30cl glasses. That’s small where we com from. A restaurant that could serve 200 people and has cool decor, but only a handful of people were there. Maybe better service would help. Food was excellent, but did not make up for the poor service.

Recommended! I've eaten here several times and it never gets boring. I'm a vegetarian myself and there's plenty of varied choice here. The cauliflower is really 'to die for' ;-) It should never be off the menu! :-) Non-vegetarian colleagues, friends and family with whom I've been here were also full of praise for the food, they ate burgers, the fish platter and the chicken and were also completely happy and peppy with the special beers, which are different from the usual. In addition, both the service and the atmosphere are great and the staff is very friendly. Oh and the cocktails are yummy! There are also many games available, there are cozy semi-circular tables with their own beer tap, regular fun theme nights, live music and parties and of course you're in a unique location right in the middle of a brewery! Keep up the good work Bierfabriek and for those who read this... definitely go there for a bite to eat and/or a drink!!!

Wij zaten in het hotel wat erbij zit, heerlijk gegeten hier. Echt heel goed. En in de avond na de voorstelling in de kunstlinie nog een na gezeten. Vriendelijk personeel goede service en heel gezellig. Ik raad deze plek ten zeerste aan ook voor feestjes en groepen.

The portabello with goat cheese, the crispy buffalo chicken and the drunken spareribs are dishes to come back for (and we did just that). And the beer of course, that's all part of it. Ideal restaurant to always combine with a theater performance in the Kunstlinie.

It was delicious and fun as always! We had our wedding drinks and dinner at Bier Fabriek. We are 300% satisfied with the Atmosphere, staff, food, location, hygiene, price-quality. We keep coming back.

The service is absolutely not up to the quality of the food which was served more than 1h30 late with no apology presented in return. The meat was not appetizing and they didn't even have the decency to provide a suitable knife (I had a butter knife...). To flee. No commercial presence. The staff is neither conciliatory nor accommodating in view of the situation.

Vi var en lille gruppe der spiste aftensmad og fik at vide at vi alle skulle bestille deres 3 retters menu til 35 Eur ellers havde de ikke plads til os denne aften. Det var helt i orden og intet problem i det. Vi startede med champignonssuppe i en lille kaffe kop. Suppen var kold, manglede smag, ingen brød til og iøvrigt så lignede det opvaskevand. Dårlig start som desværre forsatte med hovedretten. Den maskinpanerede fabriks fremstillede schnitzel var ok og det samme var den spiseske rød pebersauce der fulgte med. Tilbehøret var 5 små kartofler med skræl bagt i ovnen virkede genopvarmet og var fyldt med sorte spots, de blev liggende på tallerknen. Hertil brocolli og selleri stænger fra frostpose der var kogt til en ukendelig mos. Talerknen ligne mest af alt noget man får på et dårligt plejehjem. Et lille lyspunkt var den hollandske æbeltærte der også virkede prefabrikeret og var utrolig sød. Hertil blev serveret flødeskum fra dåse og hjemmekøbt vanillie is. Alt i alt en virkelig ringe oplevelse. Virkede som om man bare ikke gad lave mad i køkkenet. Ærgeligt da de laver rigtig god øl og betjeningen er super søde og kunde mindede.

Had dinner at the beer factory before the theater. A beautiful building close to the theater. The staff is attentive, the food is tasty, the atmosphere is good. Everything is intended to please the guests. We ate delicious chicken wings, a chicken and tiramisu. Together with delicious beers for a decent price. In short, a winner!

Had an amazing dinner with a huge portion size. I got the "fabrieksgeheim" beer which is a nice smooth porter with chocolate tones, the drunken ribs which besides being massive tasted amazingly and a side of fries which were very yummy as well. We wanted a quick and simple dinner arriving at the restaurant, however after taking our drinks order we proceeded to sit there for 15 minutes while we waiting for our food order to be taken. Eventually after ordering, sat in the view of the open kitchen I was already put off my food seeing one of the kitchen chefs, sneeze, wipe his nose with his bare hand, pick something dirty up off the floor, not wash his hand and proceed to touch food and serve guests their dinner. You'd think with an open kitchen they would pay more attention to hand hygiene. I would advise against a visit, or if you do, sit somewhere you can't see the kitchen.

after shopping the plan was actually just a drink…. However… because of the relaxed atmosphere and super friendly service, I decided to stick around for a burger and ribs after the charcuterie. And let's be honest... Juicy burger and super tasty ribs! Next time, let's go with a group at a table with private tap👊🏻 And although not on the menu, thanks for the delicious scropino🥂

Echt een leuk restaurant in Almere! Lekker gegeten, de spareribs en burgers waren mals en erg goed. Ook de voorgerechtjes waren een goede start van de avond. Slim om de desserts niet al te groot te maken, zo sluit je de avond tevreden - en niet te vol - af. Genoeg keuze in biertjes, maar ook voor niet-bierliefhebbers is het hier goed vertoeven. Bediening is ook erg vriendelijk. Echt een aanrader!

Funny farmer's disco. Music like ABBA, Bon Jovi, old Dutch sing-along music. I expected more of a club. Expensive entrance for what they deliver.

Pretty decent food considering the large group. The spare ribs were outstanding. The presentation of the food was excellent. The place itself kinda dull.

Nice tent, but sometimes you could put some (older) staff in the right places when it is busy. There was no security and a glass collector who puts everything on the bar and then leaves it there is not really convenient.
