Ordered the panini with brie, walnuts, honey, and arugula. The service person gave the panini with no arugula. And when I asked, he said they are out of arugula. This was not mentioned when I ordered and he took the payment. Poor customer service. My first visit to Markthall.

€16 for reheated rice in the microwave with one strip of chicken. Not to mention the sour taste of the rice and the strange color of the cooked ham. It went almost straight in the bin. I'd rather lose money than be sick on a day of vacation... AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

False advertising. They advertise you can bring your own bag on their sign for the loaded chips, but their ‘system’ won’t allow it so you have to use their bags.

I visited here for lunch on a weekday and was truly so disappointed. The food taste is subpar, chicken had a weird taste, fried rice was very dry and the quality is very small for the price they charge. I will not be eating from here again.

The idea of mixing your own meal was new to me. We had 3 meals with meatballs and chicken skewers. The meat was juicy and flavorfull. Especially the bbq one.

Today we came by this place in the markthal. There were lots of choices for people who like noodles or rice. I had a small meal and a panini because they both looked great, and they were. If we were to come back anytime, id most definetly visit again.

Nice place with a cozy bar and many different options. Chicken yakitori was new to me and very tasty. I would recommend it. The staff is friendly; they wanted to make sure there was a seat for my elderly father.

They make delicious paninis here. My favorites are the Italian or BBQ chicken. Lots of cheese, which makes the cheese pull amazing! Thanks again.

Spent 47 euros on 2 x small ribs and side (advertised on the board and the picture looked juicy) and we chose the noodles on each dish. However what we received was a dried puck of gristle in place of the meat (very sad) and the driest noodles this side of the Sahara desert. Literally the worst food I’ve encountered in a long long time. The server wasn’t interested at all, and when I asked her how the food was ‘cooked’ she replied “microwave”. Absolute garbage food and service with an astronomical cost. Avoid at all costs.

Paid 25 EUR for spare ribs and noodles that were tough and hardly any meat at all. Noodles side dish was average and had a sour taste to it too. Microwaved the meal :(

Delicipus rice with teryaki chicken

i paid almost 10 euros for 3 mid sized meatballs and a half scoop of pasta. needless to say i finished it within 4 minutes and it wasnt even that good for the price🤨

Avoid this place at all costs. Precooked rice for €37/kg and mediocre chicken for €41/kg. They just have food laying there and heat it up in a microwave. For just a bowl with this and two drinks almost €30. Yes, €30! Avoid this unpleasent surprise.

I've been coming here every afternoon for years for the delicious paninis, and occasionally for dinner as well. Delicious food and friendly staff. If you're near the market hall, you definitely have to try a panini here!

It was totally expensive for one box of noodle with chicken. For 300 grams I spent 10,20€. The noodle itself is basic and I needed to add some pepper and salt to adjust with my asian tounge.

I had a bad experience with this food stall, bought a small box of fried rice with fuyunghai, costs me 24,7€. Moreover, the taste is bare minimum eatable, very not recommended. Better find another food stall.

Food was delicious and perfect for take away. Mo is fun and service was great.

There was a lot of choice but what we ate was subpar. Fatty chicken and bland nasi that was microwaved right in front of you, some parts were scorching hot, some parts were ice cold. I found it extremely expensive for microwaved food, we paid 33€ for two small containers and one drink. It is by weight so it's hard to calculate the price before it's too late. I'd recommend somewhere else in the Markthal.

The woman there opens the trays about half an hour before closing time and fills and fills and fills. It's extremely overpriced and uncompetitive. I think there's still food from yesterday or a few days ago in those trays. Extremely bad.

Two snack-boxes of bami-noodles and fried rice with some chicken on top: 24€. No thanks - especially when prices are given by weight only, making it difficult to estimate the total amount before it‘s too late.

Bad experience with this tent in the Markthal Rotterdam. We waited 25 minutes for a Turkish bread from the grill. And we were the only ones there. The person behind the counter had no idea what he was doing. No knowledge of what he was selling. For €8.50 you got a not too big sandwich with cheap ingredients. You had to look for an abundance of pesto, cheap ham and pieces of mozzarella. It turned out that the grill was not yet on at lunchtime, which is why it took a long time, with the result that you got a half-lukewarm sandwich, with unmelted mozzarella. Everything was covered in pesto. There are so many options in the Markthal, I would choose a different tent. This is not worth the money (8.50 for a sandwich...).

I have been meaning to write a review about Big Jo's for a long time but I can't find the words to express my feelings. Without doubt the best food spot in 'de Markthal'. Every time before going to 'de Markthal' I intend to try another place but I keep returning to Big Jo's. It's magic!

Zeer leuke plek om te eten.. Ander eten en erg lekker.. En de service was uitstekend..

I have dinner at this place every other day! It also was the first proper dish I got since I moved to Rotterdam and the woman serving the food is always super friendly. - Ich ess hier ständig und ehrlich gesagt, das Essen hier war auch das erste ordentliche, das ich seit ich nach Rotterdam gezogen bin gegessen hab. Kann das Beef stew mit Reis und dunkler Soße nur empfehlen, mega lecker!

Het was super lekker op schaal van 1 tot 10 geef ik het een 9.5. En de 2 medewerkers waren super aardig en snel ( Ilham en mo )

Ontzettend goede tent, naar mijn mening de beste van de markthal! De pasta's en wok zijn erg lekker, maar de broodjes met kip zijn toch wel onvoorwaardelijk het lekkerst! Als je in Rotterdam bent moet je hier zeker een keer geweest zijn!
