⭐ 1/5 An extremely disappointing experience at Ploshtad 47. At these prices, we expect much better service. The staff were rude and unprofessional, with an arrogant and dismissive attitude. The food and drinks also failed to justify the prices. The beautiful interior did not make up for the poor service. I would not visit again, nor would I recommend it.

I had a great experience with my girlfriend, we found it by chance and we loved it. The food is great and the employees are super polite

We had a tight schedule, so we kept it simple, but that was taken into account really well. As a result, we were able to be on time for our next appointment. The gluten-free food due to celiac disease was also taken into account very well. We didn't have any issues at all. We will definitely come back here for a more elaborate dinner. Thank you.

The food was very tasty, and the service very attentive. Considering the time (6:30 PM), the atmosphere was very relaxed; nice music was playing at the right volume, and you could still have a pleasant chat with each other. All in all, a successful visit.

The food was good and we enjoyed our meal, but unfortunately, we found the prices quite high for what you get. The cocktails were also on the pricey side and were served in very small glasses. What was particularly disappointing was the service. There were perhaps seven tables occupied on the terrace, yet it was difficult to get someone to come to our table to order another drink, for example. At a restaurant with this price level, in my opinion, you should expect much better and more attentive service. In short: the food was good, but the value for money and especially the service could certainly be better.

We walked in by chance last week and have been back twice since. Lovely menu with oysters and sushi, and passionate service (Mike). If you like spicy food, ask for the oil with habanero peppers! When we are in Rotterdam again, we will definitely be back.

Waiter M was flirting heavily with the ladies to our left. There was a long wait before the order arrived. M also forgot to give one of our table companions a drink. M also made a cynical remark about how we were spending our Friday evening. On top of that, the wrong order was brought to our table.

Highly recommended! We enjoyed a delicious lunch here. Additionally, the location is ideal, within walking distance of Rotterdam Central. Albert assisted us very well and professionally. The interior is tastefully decorated, and the extensive wine list is a real plus. All in all, a very pleasant experience and definitely worth repeating.

There is a dress code for visitors. It is very contradictory to see that the staff wears worn-out or muddy sneakers and torn clothing (shirts).

The price-quality ratio is skewed.

My group sat down and before even being handed menu's the waiter was trying to up sell us on champagne and oysters. We had to ask for menu a number of times before he would stop trying to up sell us on random stuff. We ordered food and drinks and the up selling continued. It got very uncomfortable. Everyone's drinks came out apart from mine. They seemingly forgot. The waiter said a mistake had taken place and then eventually my drink came out. The pineapple rum punch tasted like a slushie with artificial flavour (and colouring) and little to no alcohol. It was really bad, it looked and tasted like a child's drink. There was a very long wait for food and drinks. I asked for my lamb to be cooked medium. It was delivered very rare and bloody. Not what I asked for. The food wasn't bad but the terrible drink and very uncomfortable table service would put me off recommending this restaurant. There are better restaurants nearby.

Wine & Food Walk, lovely sushi restaurant with freshly made sushi. The food and wine pairing was exquisite. It is a pity that the tables remained full of dirty plates and were not cleared. Very messy because of this.

I have eaten at Square47 several times and always left with a really good feeling. I was even proposed to here last Saturday, so this restaurant will always be a beautiful memory for me.

We had reservation at 9pm, we waited almost 2 hours for food menu after asking 4 times for it. In the end didn’t get it only drink wine, didn’t try any food which might be tasty but service was at lowest point. Waste of time

Shocking experience. We arrived two hours before a show and still waited nearly an hour between our starter and main course. Requests to speak to the manager were ignored completely. One waitress was genuinely lovely and did her best, but the restaurant clearly lacks organization. No single staff member looks after your table, so there’s no communication or oversight. The manager was dismissive and completely uninterested in resolving the situation, which reflects badly on the establishment as a whole. To make matters worse, the unisex toilets were filthy, and food was not worth either the long wait or the high prices. Save your euros and choose another restaurant.

We had a delicious meal; we had small sharing dishes, lovely wines, a wide selection on the menu, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. There was also a supervisor motivating and directing the somewhat newer staff, which was great to see. Additionally, a disabled lady entered the restaurant who could not speak and indicated what she wanted with her hands; the supervisor handled this so wonderfully and respectfully, it was beautiful to see. Those are qualities!! It is a very fine restaurant that places a very high value on the quality and presentation of its food. Naturally, there is a price tag attached to this, which is certainly worth it.

While waiting for a performance at the Doelen, we ended up here. What lovely / friendly staff! They really know what they're doing here. Had a delicious meal for a great price. Don't look any further, just go eat here. You really won't regret it.

For the main course, the surf and turf. Now, this was quite a disappointment. For that price, I had expected a bit more. The tournedos was really, really small. It was also not well-seasoned and a tad too raw. The prawns were okay, though. All in all, the price-quality ratio could be better.

I waited 30h to be served and another 20 min to get my drink. the server was rude and she was making faces. the bathroom is common for guys and girls and it's really dirty, pee everywhere. For a drink that costs 18€ you would expect more. Disappointing

This was a bad experience, we waited 20m to be served and the bathroom smelled like pee, the cocktails were pretty expensive and I expected a better service, the waitress was also looking disgusting to a dirty napkin and did not change it.

I had come with my mother for an early Mother's Day dinner. We were about 30 minutes early, but that wasn't a problem. Our coats were taken at the door by our waiter, Kelvin. He was very hospitable and attentive. The food was delicious. It was nice and quiet inside until a larger table arrived, and then we noticed for a moment that it was getting busy for them and we had to wait a bit, but that is understandable. We also had a fantastic shared dining experience.

Unfortunately, the service was not top-notch. There was a lot of chaos among the staff, and orders were not fully passed on to the kitchen, meaning you had to wait quite a long time for the food. The food itself was fine.

Sterre has everything a person who comes here wants, she is kind, warm, very friendly, just the perfect attitude, the place is also really nice, the terrace clean, service is fast, loved it.

One meal tasted good, but payed 4-5€ just for a small (really small) cup of sauce. The other meal was not good. Both meals were just to small, almost no sides and if you didn’t pay attention there were hidden cost (like the sauce with the entrecôte). Over all it was just to small and to expensive for what you get, we expected more and were really disappointed, would not visit again.

I came here for dinner with my boyfriend; I rarely write reviews, but I felt it was really necessary this time. From the moment we entered, we didn't get the feeling that they were waiting for us. It was very unfriendly and not welcoming; everything seemed robotic. From the way you were spoken to right up to the door, it was not fitting for this type of restaurant. The food was very tasty, though, and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. The price of a standard drink and the hidden extra charges were also ridiculous. It's a shame; I won't be going here again in the future.

I went yesterday with my fiancé, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the waiter who served us was kind, attentive, fast and friendly, he greeted us with a smile and helped us choose from the menu, recommending some very good dishes! We had a delicious lunch at Square '47 in Rotterdam. The location is superb, right in the city center and within walking distance of Rotterdam Central Station, a perfect stop during a day trip to Rotterdam. The restaurant is very attractive and cozy inside and has a lovely terrace. We had a salmon club sandwich and a carpaccio sandwich, which were delicious. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended if you're in Rotterdam and looking for lunch!

The service was good, and the restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere. The food was delicious, but some dishes were a bit disappointing. For example, the foie gras we ordered with the carpaccio was quite bland. Perhaps we just ordered the wrong piece, so I still recommend it!

We went on a date here yesterday with my girlfriend. We were greeted very kindly by Stefanie (even though we actually arrived too late). She then showed us to a cozy spot upstairs by the window. After taking our coats, she noticed a tag sticking out from the side of my girlfriend's pants, which she tucked back in for her. We thought this was really kind. She also complimented our outfits afterward, so our evening couldn't have been better. Later in the evening, we were served by Xavier. He knew exactly when to come to our table and even made small talk, which was really nice throughout the meal. My girlfriend and I are both 22, and we don't often find younger people taken seriously in the city center. But the food and service here were phenomenal. For the price you pay, you leave with a full stomach and a wonderful memory. Definitely worth repeating :)

A warm welcome, coats taken, a wonderful Christmas atmosphere, comfortable chairs, a beautifully set table, and Kelvin, our host, was super friendly and made us feel completely at ease! The oysters were huge and delicious; we chose the shared dining option, with four dishes, and we were already full! Then came dessert, delicious! We'll definitely be back! We thoroughly enjoyed it!

The dishes were overpriced, but the food was okay, but it wasn't explained at the table. I expected more from a luxury restaurant. It's a shame.

We had lunch here and ordered the carpaccio sandwich and the Wagyu burger. The carpaccio bun was extremely hard on the outside and soggy on the inside! The Wagyu burger was dry, tough, and bland. The service was excellent, but the food was very disappointing!

The food was awful. We went there for a birthday party and ordered a 300g medium steak—truly awful. My plate was covered in blood! The sushi chicken was passable, but the sushi with beef was awful, making me nauseous. The carpaccio was also inedible. The only things that were good were the fresh fries and cocktails, and the sushi chicken. Otherwise, I highly recommend it. I'd rather go to El Guachos than here, especially for €580. It's unbearable, and I wasn't even full. I'd rather eat one delicious kapsalon than this.

Sat outside on the patio. Initially, the service was good, just drinks. Later, when we wanted to pay, it was difficult to get anyone's attention. Finally, I made eye contact with the hostess (?). I cautiously raised my hand, and she completely ignored me. Paying, they placed the bill and quickly walked away. Yes, we wanted to pay by card. Can we pay or not? It was a shame about the experience. It started well, but then it was just staff that had become the top-notch.

The food is delicious, but apparently, you're not welcome here if you have a child still in a stroller. Such a shame.
