The food we received did not conform to what was on the lunch menu; much of it was undercooked, such as the soup, and the ham sandwich was not ham on the bone, but slices of ham from the butcher. The rolls were underbaked and quite floury, not cooked through; a shame.

The small dishes, with a very diverse selection, were surprisingly tasty. That is probably the great strength of this restaurant. They also know how to serve a delicious lunch.

I went to eat here again after years. I actually regret not having been here for such a long time! What a beautiful place. Super nice atmosphere, very cozy decor, and top-notch service from the waitresses! Today's menu featured salmon with grilled vegetables and homemade fries, plus an extra portion of vegetables! The salmon was tasty and cooked perfectly! The extra vegetables tasted great too. For dessert, I had a mix of tiramisu and Eton mess. This was also a hit. Glad I visited here again! Highly recommended. If you are in Zuidlaren, it is a must to eat here. And finally: they also have a covered terrace. Fantastic!

This was our second visit to Cosi, a conscious choice this time. Once again, there was a good explanation of the menu, for both the main course and the dessert. And we thoroughly enjoyed both dishes! It was very nice that some extra peppercorn sauce was served with the steak; they didn't mind at all that the sauce had to be freshly prepared. We would love to eat here again. Good quality, friendly service!

I ate here years ago. Yesterday I had a glass of wine. Today, with my parents, I had something else in mind, and it was full. We were told this rather unkindly, which gave me the idea to have lunch here rather than waiting there until there was a spot available. And that was fantastic! A super friendly welcome, delicious sandwiches, and a very reasonable price too—generously filled. I recommend this place to everyone, and we will definitely be back.

We had a delicious meal tonight at By Cosineros in Zuidlaren. A cozy and atmospheric restaurant with a nice shared dining concept. You decide exactly how to structure your evening: whether you order a single dish or have four brought to the table at once, it’s all possible. No time pressure, just a nice, long, and pleasant dining experience. The dishes are of good quality, beautifully presented, and above all, very tasty. Additionally, the service is incredibly friendly and hospitable. Because there was a somewhat larger group present tonight and it might take a little longer as a result, this was politely indicated in advance. It is precisely these kinds of small things that make the difference. A very nice little place where we enjoyed our meal. And with lovely summer weather, the terrace also seems like an absolutely lovely spot to settle down. By Cosineros: delicious food, a great atmosphere, and above all, enjoyment at your own pace.

While strolling through charming Zuidlaren, we stumbled upon this equally lovely restaurant. We chose to sit in the atmospheric covered outdoor area. The friendly and efficient service served us delicious fresh tuna salad and salmon salad sandwiches. Highly recommended for a relaxing time.

Well... Just a passing grade if you ask me. The quality is worthy of a village pub, so you shouldn't have high expectations regarding the food. A bit tough here and there, lettuce with browned edges, bland flavor, and the fries are okay. The service seems to change often and frequently, they know very little of substance about the menu, and just rattles off a fixed list... Dead blowfly on the windowsill, by the way. However, if you aren't too critical, this is a fine place!

We wanted a spot where the stroller could also fit and were assigned a nice, quiet spot in a corner. Both the bread board and the Black Angus steak were delicious! What a lovely place! After a walk with the dog, we stopped in for a drink. The dog was more than welcome; they even have a dog menu! The service was very friendly and professional. The drinks and cake were delicious, clearly prepared with care. We'd love to come back!

A lovely restaurant with excellent service and excellent food. A few minor niggles. Upon arrival, we waited a long time before we could order drinks. One of us is vegetarian, and to still enjoy the shared dinner, we were supposed to ask the kitchen to add a meat dish. We received a full vegetarian dinner without any feedback. It tasted great, though, so we didn't complain. Several times, different staff members asked if we wanted another drink, sometimes in quick succession.

We popped in for a quick Sunday lunch. The salmon flambée was delicious. The croquettes on cornbread were excellent. The decor is lovely and the staff is friendly.

We come here regularly, especially because of the service and the atmosphere. But also because of a gastric bypass, you can still enjoy a meal here, namely shared dining! Delicious dishes, plenty of choices: fish, meat, vegetarian. And perfectly prepared. If I may offer a tip, the quality varies, as do the quantities. One time you get 8 cauliflower florets, the next 4... A different sauce than listed on the menu, etc. These are details that can elevate your restaurant to an even higher level if you pay attention to them.

A spontaneous dinner planned after a great offer at Cosineros. It turned out to be the "Vaste Prik" (Set Price) for two. Delicious appetizers to share, each more delicious than the last. The service was truly fantastic; such lovely, welcoming women who explained in detail what they were serving. A (yet again) very good experience.

We went to this restaurant yesterday and made a reservation. The service was friendly, and we had excellent food. Nothing special, but it was okay. The terinesu dessert was so large that it wasn't a dessert but a meal in itself. Inside, however, it was freezing cold. It was dingy, and the ceiling lights were covered in dead flies. The waitstaff explained that the owner had told them not to turn on the heater, so they were wearing thick sweaters. They said the staff were also cold. My wife and I put our coats back on and ate. We finished our meal and left as quickly as possible. Not recommended.

Had lunch, and the fried eggs were served without butter on soggy bread, and overcooked so much that the yolks were dry. Not worth repeating.

Great atmosphere, cozy and thoughtfully decorated. Friendly service and excellent coffee. I didn't eat there, so I can't comment. Just one more tip: a play area for children would be a definite addition, in my opinion. This is a fun place to take my daughter, and it will attract even more parents if the children can play there too.

We had sour cream butter on our Zuidlaarderbol, and after informing the staff, we were given the same sour cream butter with our main course salad! We informed the staff again, and they casually said, "We tried it, and we weren't too bad!"

Incredible experience in my former childhood home of Zuidlaren/Schuilingsoord topped off with this new, modern and quaint restaurant on its mainstreet. The servers were efficient and helpful, while the food was exquisite and presented in a delightful way. Their appeltaart is easily the best in the world. Having lived in the US for 4 decades and travelled to over 20 countries, their pie is the most meticulously prepared and best tasting. Thank you for a warm welcome back to Zuidlaren.

I can only say it was a wonderful dinner. It started with the friendly welcome. The service was excellent; in Twente we say "they understand it," meaning: they understand how good service works. The food was excellent, from appetizer to dessert, and the coffee was also delicious.
