Had a lovely meal with a group. The food was good, but the price was steep.

We went to this restaurant yesterday and made a reservation. The service was friendly, and we had excellent food. Nothing special, but it was okay. The terinesu dessert was so large that it wasn't a dessert but a meal in itself. Inside, however, it was freezing cold. It was dingy, and the ceiling lights were covered in dead flies. The waitstaff explained that the owner had told them not to turn on the heater, so they were wearing thick sweaters. They said the staff were also cold. My wife and I put our coats back on and ate. We finished our meal and left as quickly as possible. Not recommended.

Had lunch, and the fried eggs were served without butter on soggy bread, and overcooked so much that the yolks were dry. Not worth repeating.

We had a lovely evening with our team. The food was fantastic. Highly recommended!

My daughter and I came to reminisce about my husband. We received a very warm welcome. They took the time to listen to our story. That was wonderful. We'll definitely be back!

Great atmosphere, cozy and thoughtfully decorated. Friendly service and excellent coffee. I didn't eat there, so I can't comment. Just one more tip: a play area for children would be a definite addition, in my opinion. This is a fun place to take my daughter, and it will attract even more parents if the children can play there too.

We had sour cream butter on our Zuidlaarderbol, and after informing the staff, we were given the same sour cream butter with our main course salad! We informed the staff again, and they casually said, "We tried it, and we weren't too bad!"

Incredible experience in my former childhood home of Zuidlaren/Schuilingsoord topped off with this new, modern and quaint restaurant on its mainstreet. The servers were efficient and helpful, while the food was exquisite and presented in a delightful way. Their appeltaart is easily the best in the world. Having lived in the US for 4 decades and travelled to over 20 countries, their pie is the most meticulously prepared and best tasting. Thank you for a warm welcome back to Zuidlaren.

I can only say it was a wonderful dinner. It started with the friendly welcome. The service was excellent; in Twente we say "they understand it," meaning: they understand how good service works. The food was excellent, from appetizer to dessert, and the coffee was also delicious.

We sat outside under the canopy. It looked rather grimy there. The table was also very dirty. We had to ask them to clean it first. It wasn't a pleasant place to sit. Inside, it looked neat and cozy. The food was fine, but not particularly plentiful or delicious. The staff was friendly.

I had the "Samen een Vorkje Prikken" (a kind of tapas). The dishes were delicious and more than enough. I didn't like the fries as much, and the mayonnaise was very thin. My partner had to wait two hours for his main course. That was a shame. His fish, which was fried skin-on, was presented incorrectly, with the skin facing up, which he didn't notice at first because there was so much sauce on it. We suspect the kitchen was understaffed. Service was otherwise good. Friendly young women.

Gisteren met een vriendin lekker een middagje op het terras gezeten. Kopje latte macchiato, muntthee. We hadden geen trek maar hebben een heerlijk middagje gehad. Het personeel was heel attent en vriendelijk met veel aandacht zonder opdringerig te zijn. Veel aandacht voor details zoals het inschenken van de koffie in de latte aan tafel. Waar ik elders meerdere keren moet vragen om een asbak werd deze, bij het zien dat ik rookte, automatisch en snel gebracht. Top personeel! We komen zeker terug! (En wat waarderen de honden de waterbakken!)

1st Pentecost day celebrated my partner's 50th birthday there with a delicious bbq. It was really arranged to perfection good service delicious bbq meat salad and delicious homemade fries. Also the homemade salad petto and mayonnaise delicious it is a beautiful location to celebrate a party or to eat deliciously. Our family and friends also really loved it and that says enough go for a nice lunch, dinner or drink or party to Cosineros 👍😋😋

The food itself was tasty, but both the starter and main course were cold.

Such a delicious meal and such a great atmosphere! My son in the who, what and why phase asked the waiter a few questions and got some great answers. The homemade chips were the best he had ever tasted. He took the thick toasted sandwich with big eyes and a "wow!" It was really great fun and cozy here. A "minibar" for dogs was used several times and led to spontaneous conversations between people.

Had a delicious double espresso with a glass of water. Then we had a brie sandwich with pesto and nuts and, on the server's recommendation, a warm ham sandwich. 2 thick slices of cornbread with warm ham and a delicious dressing. Nice cozy food and drink restaurant with a no-nonsense atmosphere.

It was on Tuesday, a quiet day in the restaurant. The food was excellent, starter sandwich and ribeye steak as the main menu.

Very relaxed place with great service and excellent food. On the terrace in the sun you can watch the hustle and bustle in Zuidlaren while drinking a nice coffee, eating a cake or one of the many great dishes from the lunch or dinner menu. Highly recommended, plus really fair prices for the high quality and attentive service.

Hospitality is really a profession in itself. As a server you should see all your guests. After half an hour and asking once if we could be helped, we left again to buy a cup of coffee elsewhere...

Wij zitten hier op het terras. Dat is eigenlijk niet te doen. De benzinedampen komen telkens je neus in. Dus binnen eten. Bij het afrekenen zie ik een mooie uitbating. We aten een flamkuche met oesterzwammen en een carpaccio. Die bevielen beide. Personeel correct en vriendelijk.

Cozy location. We always like to drink a cappuccino there, which is very good. The absolute highlight is the piece of brownie that comes with it. Super delicious 🫶.

We were here for dinner with friends. Located in the middle of Zuidlaren with a wonderful ambience. No cluttered decoration and a clearly laid out menu. The quality of the food is really very good. The dishes are divided into “small appetites” and “really filling”. The kitchen also makes the chips and potato garnish itself - you can taste it. The outdoor seating is partly covered and very comfortable. Particularly positive is the extremely friendly and quick service, special requests are gladly fulfilled. Guests from Germany (Saxony)

Je moest lang wachten op je eten. En vervolgens wordt je die zelfde avond na het eten in het restaurant ook nog eens ziek van het eten. En het vlees was zeer droog. En mijn zwemmers van de zee waren ook niet meer goed. En kwa prijs en eten was de verhouding zeer slecht. Wij komen helaas niet terug.

Things took a long time to be served. Lunch was reasonable, but not really special.

Heerlijk gegeten. Prijs kwaliteit zeer goed. Bediening zeer vriendelijk. Gezellige sfeer. Niets op aan te merken. Leuke avond gehad.

We sat in the middle of the restaurant for +/- 45 minutes, waiting to eat (dinner) and drink something. During that time, no one from the service came to us to take an order. We just left again. There was room at brasserie Joost (30 meters away).

Had coffee in the morning with homemade apple pie. Discussed the afternoon table for the evening. We had a great meal. Very good service and good cuisine. Highly recommended.

I was there in the afternoon around 4:00 PM and actually wanted dinner, but unfortunately it was only available from 5:00 PM and I couldn't wait for it. I chose things from the menu that were on the menu, namely pork belly and a portion of home-made fries. Both tasted excellent and I also had a delicious Groningen beer, the "Dollard".

Prima eten. Alleen de sfeer is tien keer niks. Werden niet goed behandeld en de ober zag eruit alsof ze depressief was en probeerde ons niet eens te helpen. Verder prima gegeten

Na lange tijd besloten we onszelf weer een op een etentje te tracteren. Bij Cosineros waren we al een tijdje niet geweest. Duss... We memoreerden nog dat wij bij Cosineros destijds de Le Fort hadden geïntroduceerd. Wat wij vanavond gepresenteerd kregen was ronduit schandalig! Het breekbrood was okay maar de "smeersels"... de humus b.v. leek wel klei uit een play-doh pot van onze kleindocgter. Ik koos kaasfondue & flammkuchen (2 voorgerecten); mijn man "zwemmer van de dag". De kaasfondue was okay maar erg sober. De flammkuchen werd koud op tafel gezet! Daar heb ik wat van gezegd. "Het kan zijn dat de oven niet dicht stond" zo zei de serveerster (??). "Maar de kok maakt een nieuwe voor u". Dat vond ik fideel maar wat er daarna kwam... Een opgewarmde uitgedroogde bodem met verbrande uien; doorgebakken seranoham zorgvuldig weg gestopt onder een laag rucola met saus. BAH!  Dit kan toch niet?? Uiteindelijk hebben we daar ook iets van gezegd. "De kok is nieuw" zo zei de serveerster. De "zwemmer van de dag" blonk uit in disbalans...  Kortom wij zijn ontzettend teleurgesteld en vinden jullie kwaliteit werkelijk abominabel. En dit voor € 60,00.  Ooit waren we fan van jullie restaurant. Dit is voor ons de laatste keer geweest.

Heerlijke steak en prima saté. Had alleen iets warmer gekund. Broodjes vooraf lekker warm met erg lekkere sausjes enzo.

Alléén héél jammer dat je op de zondag voor de zuidlaardermarkt . Je eten en drinken in papieren bekers , borden en houten bestek krijgt . Niet te doen !

Service und Essen Trinken sehr lecker

Toetje gegeten via Happen en trappen... koffie met likeurtje was ook heerlijk. Fles likeur is te koop bij de Mitra aan de overkant. Likeurtje heet Berend Botje.

Heerlijk gezeten met een lekker glas wijn en een lekkere lunch. Service was ook echt top !

Wij komen hier regelmatig, soms om te eten, soms om te borrelen of voor een (bier-)proeverij maar het is ALTIJD goed! De sfeer is gemoedelijk, het personeel is vriendelijk en heeft alle tijd voor je (geldt ook voor de eigenaar Marc). Onze hond Max is altijd welkom, hij gaat plat op zijn buik liggen als we het terras van Cosineros zomaar voorbij lopen :-) want ook voor Max is er altijd een bak water en een hondekoekje! De menukaart is gevarieerd, ruime keuze! En altijd met zorg bereid en dat proef je! Heerlijk terras, of je nu in de zon wilt zitten of juist in de schaduw, het kan allebei. Maar ook binnen is het gezellig. Vanavond weer lekker eten 'bij Cosineros' en morgen nog even een biertje (de bierkaart is er namelijk ook goed!) pakken!

Niks dan positiefs over dit plekje te vermelden, als vermoeide Pieterpad lopers kwamen we hier aan en als voldane gasten gingen we hier weg. Het personeel was buitengewoon vriendelijk en attentief en de sfeer gemoedelijk en ongedwongen. Het eten was zeer smakelijk, en het feit dat je kan kiezen voor meerdere kleine hapjes is voor mensen met keuzestress of kleine maag een goede oplossing. Als vega's waren we ook blij verrast over de keuzemogelijkheden; de plantaardige coquilles; de tempura oesterzwammen; de griekse balletjes. Allemaal even lekker en met aandacht gemaakt. De prijs-kwaliteit was daarnaast ook erg goed, voor 60 euro met zijn tweeën uit eten en dan voor deze kwaliteit is een zeldzaamheid in deze tijd. Een absolute aanrader, zeker ook voor Pieterpad lopers :)

Super lekker eten en leuk personeel ! Vooral een erg leuke gastheer.

Gezellig eethuis aan de Stationsstraat van Zuidlaren. Daar al het doorgaande verkeer nog altijd dwars door Zuidlaren moet is het erg handig dat er een oversteekplaats vlakbij Cosineros is. Maar dit terzijde. De menukaart is gevarieerd, maar we schrokken wel enigszins van de prijzen die gevraagd worden voor belegde broodjes. Die lagen allemaal rond de € 7,00 tot € 8,00 terwijl wij gewend zijn om hooguit € 5,00 te betalen. Terwijl ik uitweek naar een stuk appeltaart met slagroom voor € 4,00 koos de vrouw voor een tosti van € 4,50. Als de tosti een indicatie is voor de belegde broodjes dan begint me te dagen waarom de prijzen aan de hogere kant van het spectrum liggen. Dikke plakken vers maisbrood met zonnebloempitten en een verse salade erbij. Wij sluiten niet uit dat Cosineros ook zo uitpakt bij de belegde broodjes. De koffie was uitstekend. Vriendelijk personeel.

Schitterende mensen die vriendelijk en ook snel de bediening doen. Wespen kunnen dan -zeker buiten- vervelend zijn. Koersen koffie aansteken...en de rook verdrijft de muggen. Vindingrijk. En wat een heerlijke maaltijd. Verrukkelijk. De entrecote -zeldzaam is mijn ervaring- uiterst goed snijdbaar vlees. Geen zenen en prima medium gebakken. En dat met paddenstoelen. Heerlijk. Echt complimenten aan de kok. En de vega Flam kuchen was eveneens van een heerlijke kwaliteit. De geserveerde wijn uitstekend. Het is duidelijk dat wij hier terug gaan komen. Een aanrader juist ook voor de vegetarische eters. Nogmaals een pluim.

Superfijne ontspannen atmosfeer met lekker eten voor iedereen. De piraat werd op prijs gesteld 😉.
