Pizzeria Friuli in Wijk 04 Westlaren

Delicious pizzas and top-notch service! 👌 We were allowed to pick up pizzas extra early for a children's party, thanks! The party animals loved them!

Never been there before, sat outside very nicely (beautiful weather), friendly staff who serve quickly and the food was very good! Ordered lasagna, which was a very big container, couldn't finish it but super tasty! 🤗

Had a lovely meal in the garden

The service left much to be desired. We had to ask for drinks twice before we received anything.

Cozy in the garden under the grapevines. Good and friendly service.

What an incredibly lovely place. You are always greeted warmly and everyone is welcome. Do you have a dog? No problem; children of all ages can come along and are taken into account. It is wheelchair accessible. The staff is friendly, patient, and cheerful. The food is extremely tasty; highly recommended in these times when you are short on cash, because here you get a lot of food for an affordable price!

My first time here. Delicious food

The coziest pizzeria in Zuidlaren

Yummy pizza. Huge though, for one person..

For over 15 years, I drove past this Pizzeria almost daily. From the outside, it is hardly visible that it is actually quite a large pizzeria, with a sort of courtyard/terrace behind it. At first glance, it didn't invite me in. But appearances can indeed be deceiving. Parking is also available right behind the building, in the same parking lot as the neighbors (Pine Design). Positively surprised by the quality of the food and the extremely friendly service, this ensured that we will be returning again soon.

We're sold! From now on, we're going to eat pizza here!!

Great place, very welcoming, friendly service, delicious food, quite a lot of it but they even offer to let you take it away. We will definitely be back.

Had a delicious meal. Choice of 121 pizzas, among others, and of course much more. Parking available.

Cozy little restaurant, review based on 2 visits. Both the pastas and pizzas are tasty. The air conditioning could be a bit better as it is filled with smoke, but it also contributes to the atmosphere.

Super pizzeria. They really work hard there. Orders are flying at you from all sides, and yet there is still time for someone who just drops by and orders takeout. Barely 10 minutes later, you walk out the door with a delicious pizza...

We come here often. The food is always good and the service is friendly and fast.

What a nice place and what delicious pizzas! We will definitely come back, highly recommended!

We ordered takeout today. The antipasti della casa for 2 people was delicious. The pizzas, on the other hand, we didn't like very much. The crust tasted like cardboard. The topping didn't have much flavor and there wasn't much of it. Hence, one star less.

We had been coming here for many years, and a favorite dish was always freshly made frito misti. That isn't made anymore; it was said to be too much work. So we had escaloppa corconzola instead, but that was a huge disappointment; the sauce was floury! And it lacked creaminess. A real miss. Too bad, we were used to much better.

Tried this one once, drove past it often, but that was it. So I booked a table. I haven't regretted it for a moment. The food is good and tasty, more than enough, and we (unfortunately) couldn't manage dessert. I also think the food is less salty. Friendly service, open kitchen. Definitely worth going back 👍

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pizzeria Friuli A fixture in Zuidlaren for over 40 years – and for good reason. From the moment you step inside, you feel the hospitality. Antonio is a great entrepreneur and a special person. He visibly cares for his staff, and you can see it in everything: the team enjoys their work, and that immediately translates into a relaxed, warm, and genuine atmosphere for the guests. The pizzas are delicious: fresh toppings, generously topped, and absolutely value for money. The pasta, lasagna, Scaloppa dishes, and steaks are also always prepared with love and care – consistently good, every time. The decor is understated and has remained virtually unchanged over the years. That's precisely what makes it so beautiful: almost authentic Italy, without frills, but with character. I've been coming here for over 40 years and I still appreciate the dedication, commitment, and quality of Antonio and his team. He's not only a successful entrepreneur, but also someone who genuinely cares about his customers. A top-notch business. 👌🍕🇮🇹 Tip: it's good when it's busy; reservations are recommended, and the garden is recommended on warm days. 👌

Very good food 👍 good conditions

Very large portions. Excellent. Friendly staff.

What a great Italian! Delicious pizzas with generous toppings. Fast and efficient service. Good parking and affordable prices. We'll definitely be back.

Echt Italiaanse pizza, supper lekker, we come everything time from Hamburg to zuidlaren for a delicious italian Pizza. Super delicious with fresh italian products.

The food was delicious. I hadn't been there before, but it's highly recommended!

A great pizzeria. We were a group of 14, and all the pizzas were delivered quickly and simultaneously. They tasted delicious. We'd love to come back.

Great pizzas. Good ingredients. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices.

Picked up pizzas These were excellent

Delicious food, cozy atmosphere and affordable

Delicious food, well-filled pizzas, and wonderful pasta. And reasonable prices.

We'd booked a pizzeria, but ended up at the wrong one, which turned out to be the right one. We had a truly excellent pizza. Friendly, efficient service, and reasonable prices. Only... those damned mini bottles of cola again for €2.40 for 200ml. That's €12 a liter, bizarre and such a shame, it deducts a star! Otherwise, we were really satisfied, including the children.

We had huge, generously filled pizzas. Service was fast, good, and the food was delicious. Plenty of reasons to go there. It was funny that I was supposed to get tuna on my pizza, but it ended up with shrimp😂😂. No problem for me.

We took our pizza to go. It was delicious. The staff was super helpful and friendly. 👌🏻

Just a tasty, good meal in a pleasant but busy spot in the city center. Friendly staff. The pizzas are really good, by the way!

A really nice pizzeria with a huge variety of pizzas (118 plus specialty pizzas). The food was delicious, and the service was also very friendly. There are plenty of seats, but reservations are recommended, as it's often full.

Nice, lots of pizza and pasta but you always have enough and the dessert I liked best was dame blancé, I liked it best of the two, my favorite was tiramisu

Enjoy a lovely summer meal outdoors. We made a reservation for eight people, and everything went smoothly. The pizzas were very, very well topped. They could have used a bit less topping, though :-). Friendly staff. Delicious food.

We had a delicious meal again!!!

Insanely good. A little piece of Italy in Holland. Excellent quality, great value for money, and very friendly service. We'll definitely be back. Keep up the good work!

Together with the family we had picked up some pizzas for a small celebration. And we were unpleasantly surprised. The pizzas were all fine, but for the price we had expected a bit more. I had chosen the pizze speciali, the norcina, but was surprised with a fairly unremarkable pizza. The star of the pizza; the salsiccia di norcina, was tasty in itself, but did not justify such a ridiculous price. And the Spanish pepper was almost impossible to find. I prefer to eat a pizza from Domino's. There are other pizzerias in the area with a much better price-quality ratio. I don't know about the restaurant itself, maybe the meat, fish and pasta dishes are worth it. But I wouldn't pick up a pizza here.

Don't answer the phone. Called several times, even during opening hours. Reservations are therefore impossible.

We had a delicious meal and we were able to go with 5 people without making a reservation around 6:00 PM. A huge menu makes the choice a bit difficult because there are many good dishes on it. The service was extremely friendly and professional! We will definitely come back again to try something else on the menu!

The pizzas looked good, but they had no taste at all...flat, bland... Finally I asked for a salt and pepper shaker to season things myself.

Nice pizzeria. The food is tasty, the staff is friendly, the interior is sufficient and for a fair price. Been many times and many more to come!

Delicious, richly filled pizza.

Pizzas not too salty. That's nice. You can sit there, but we usually pick them up.

Delicious food, once had a meat dish instead of pizza. Meat was tender and the sauce was very tasty.

Delicious pizzas for a normal price. Pizza is large in size. Restaurant has a very cozy and pleasant atmosphere

We ate here for the second time and the food was great again!

This time the food was not 5 stars because the base of the pizzas were a bit more tasteless. No salt added I think.

Delicious food. Top quality. Friendly people who serve you. Pleasant.

Very good Italian in Zuidlaren. Delicious pasta, pizza and desserts. Easy parking (behind the building).

Pizza is tasty, just not enough cheese and the dough is dry. Management is mainly busy with each other. Dessert is not what is on the menu, I ordered the dama bianca, which is on the menu in a shoe, but I received it on a plate. Very dated appearance both inside and out

The two of us ate here; my wife thought it was perhaps the tastiest lasagna she had ever eaten. I personally had the tortellini al ragu, which was also excellent. The service was adequate and friendly and, thank goodness, not overwhelming. Recommended!

Unexpectedly good and tasty pizzas. Big too! Friendly service where I took the initiative to get a high chair and even the option to make my own sandwich for my daughter. I didn't think the appearance of the outside was very special, but I will definitely come back because of the good pizzas and good service.

Excellent local restaurant in Zuidlaren. Great pizza and house wine 😋🥂 The waitress was super patient with our group of 8 💪 Definitely a place to enjoy nice dinner 👏

Ordered pizza at 9pm for collection at 9:45pm. When we arrived at 9:30 PM it was just ready. When we arrived home (a 3-minute drive), it was not yet cold. they just put the pizza in much earlier. So we will never come here again.

Delicious food, but because it was busy, the service could have been a little better

Great pizzeria, delicious food for a good price and very nice staff

There was no ventilation at the front of the store, making it sweltering (on a warm summer evening) and blue from the smoke. That can't be healthy. Or comply with the rules. Food was decent. Choice was huge.

Was with you for the first time. I thought the pizza was delicious and the service by the (tall) young man and the girl was very friendly. Definitely come again

One of the places I miss now that I live abroad. Always nice to come 'home' to Pizzeria Friuli and the Sarda pizza remains my favorite! Thank you Antonio, Angelo and the team!

Ordered a starter and a pizza, the starter arrived quite quickly, we waited for more than an hour for the pizza and had to ask several times where it was, in the end we got a very mediocre pizza that was apparently made in a hurry and where it seemed as if all the ingredients had been thrown onto a raw base. Also no excuse for the long wait.

Delicious pizzas among other things. Very extensive menu, everything I saw looked delicious. The luxury here is that you can choose to sit inside or outside, under grape vines. We sat outside last night, wonderful with this beautiful weather. Friendly staff who give you time to study the menu carefully. Good address for good food with decent prices. What I think is a bit of a shame are the long tables outside. All for 6 or 8 people. A few small tables make the atmosphere more intimate if you come to eat with two people. Atmospheric address, although you don't see it from the outside. We will be back!

Great tasty pizzas and pastas. Good portions!

Had a nice meal in the garden with the family.

A very nice atmosphere, you feel very at home. The staff is very friendly and caring. There is a huge selection of different pizzas. And the ones we ordered were also very tasty.

Delicious pizzas, friendly, cordial and pleasant service and a casual, genuine Italian atmosphere. Highly recommended.

This is the most delicious food I tasted in the Netherlands. Very tasty and extremely cozy and atmospheric restaurant👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 and another 121 types of pizza, you will definitely find your favorite

Not 1 vegan option. Tasteless soil. Not very tasty. Not recommended to come back.

Delicious food, highly recommended

I think we have been coming here for as long as this pizzeria has existed and to be honest, you can eat the tastiest pizzas here. The atmosphere is friendly, the service consists of young people, but is always excellent, and when the weather is nice it is nice to relax in the spacious garden.

Always good food here. Ate here on Friday evening. Super busy, but still a spot for two. Nice meal. The ladies at the service are quick, friendly, knowledgeable and think along with you.

We had a delicious meal there. It wasn't busy.

The food was good, although we ordered the meat medium rare and it definitely wasn't. In addition, the potatoes were served so early that they had time to cool down before the main course was served. The biggest problem is the lack of acceptance of payment cards.

Incredibly delicious food and lovely staff

The best quattro formaggi I know. Years later, I still agree with the review.

Delicious pizza and friendly/attentive service. Since I had one arm in a cast, the pizza was pre-cut and I was allowed to use a pizza cutter.

I think we have been eating pizza here once in a while for more than 30 years. Always delicious pizzas and friendly staff! Jan & Henriette Abbas Gieten

Het eten was smakeloos, slechte kwaliteit huiswijn. De bediening ongeïnteresseerd en luidruchtig met elkaar bezig.

One of the best pizzerias I've ever been to

Good pizza, authentic pizzeria.

What a delicious pizzeria! You smell the fresh pizza dough when you walk in! Very nice people who work there. And finally a cozy atmosphere inside.

After having gone here a few more times it's safe to say there's no better pizza place in Zuidlaren and most likely even Groningen (imo). It's a bit expensive but it's well worth it, the atmosphere is also great and the personal friendly.

It was delicious and cozy, good service, friendly service

Tasty dishes and a very nice atmosphere. Also very affordable, so that is of course very nice. What we did notice is that our clothes smelled like the restaurant when we got home. This may have been due to the open kitchen. In terms of service, it could also be a little better, they did not come to us when we had our food and therefore could not ask for extra drinks.

Super goed restaurant. Vlotte vriendelijke bediening.

Leuke plek om eens gezellig met je collegas en hele lekkere pizza te eten.

Pizza margaritha is nogal karig belegd met kaas.

Eet hier graag , kwaliteit is goed

Gezellig restaurant.

Great choice in pizzas, richly topped. A disadvantage of this is that their pizzas tend to be rather wet (especially if your pizza contains vegetables). Not sure how they would fix that (spread toppings a bit better, or maybe put the vegetables on the cheese rather than under it?) But that would be my main criticism.

In 1 zin fantastisch! Heerlijk genieten

Fantastische pizza, goede vleesgerechten en vriendelijk personeel. Top

het was zo lekker, ik ga hier vaaker eten ik geef de restourant een 10 top, ga er naar toe het was zo lekker niet normaal

Heerlijk gegeten Prima bediening. Behulpzame eigenaar. Echt een aanrader

Vriendelijk personeel, echt lekkere salade en pizza's. Niet te groot, maar gezellig. Ongelukje met drankje dat over iemand heen viel beetje knullig opgelost. Verder prima!!!

Great differentiation in Italian meals, (anti)pasta's and pizza's. The tiramisu is a master piece!
