Highly recommended. For lunch, dinner, or just drinks. The friendly and welcoming staff are truly fantastic. Opposite is a large parking lot where you can park; the Zuidlaarden horse market is always held here.

Cozy atmosphere, everyone really enjoyed our lunch, and the service was very friendly. It's also a great place for dinner! We love coming here. Reservations are recommended, as it's a favorite for many.

Two coffees, a rosé, and a glass of red wine. Which, by the last sip, was literally full of dregs (unnoticed, of course). Such a shame, you're essentially throwing away a third of your wine. I mentioned it to the waitress. She said it had happened before. That's it. I didn't really expect anything, but it also says something about the service; no apology was forthcoming. I think it's a fine place otherwise, but I still left dissatisfied. And 19 euros lighter.

The food was okay, and the service was excellent. If it's full, you'll be sitting very close to the adjacent tables, essentially eliminating any privacy. The price was definitely a bit steep for the quality. The appetizer (pictured) was around €30 for two people. Delicious, but really steeply priced.

We went to dinner with friends at "Olle Stee" today; it was pleasantly busy! They have a variety of tasty drinks, specialty beers, and an extensive drinks menu. They also have a daily special and several interesting, and what turned out to be, delicious, special offers. We were given time to make our choices and were advised to try something new or different. Everything was well-organized, and it was a pleasant experience.

Cozy terrace in the center of Zuidlaren. Nice seating in the sun. Service was excellent. Wide selection on the menu and fast service. Delicious and well-prepared fried eggs. Reasonable price, and the restrooms were also perfectly fine.

The chicken burger was quite greasy from the fryer. The steak had a strange smell. The side dishes were delicious. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere.

Last Saturday, we sat down on the patio for a bite to eat and a drink. We didn't see any service at the table. There were a few staff members at the door but they weren't paying attention to the guests. Suddenly, two employees came to the patio, "Ha, maybe we could order something." They started to neatly arrange the tables on the patio. Then we left, which was a very clear signal.

Had a delicious farmer's schnitzel and the cheesecake was also delicious. The staff who work there are friendly.

Good food and super friendly staff. They even catered to food allergies very expertly. The atmosphere was great, and the fact that we were the last to leave wasn't a problem at all. We had a very pleasant evening here with excellent food prepared with care. A fantastic place.

We've been coming to Zuidlaren several times a year since 2018, but we'd never been to Olle Stee before. After last night, I'm ashamed why we'd never been before. The atmosphere is charming, like a village. Lovely terraces and a cozy interior. Friendly staff and very tasty food at a good price. We'll definitely be back in the coming weeks. This cozy restaurant has been around since 1957. Top location.

We spontaneously booked a table here because we were going away for the weekend. I saw that we "only" had an hour and a half, but they called to check if that really wasn't a problem. It wasn't for us. And then I've honestly never had such a delicious farmer's schnitzel! The atmosphere among the staff was also great, and it radiated to the guests. I'd love to come back!

The food was excellent, the service was very poor. We waited 35 minutes to order drinks after dinner, and then nothing. Then I paid the bill and moved on. Unfortunately, I won't be coming here again and I won't recommend it to others either.

Delicious food. We came here for the 2nd time. Unfortunately the menu had changed in the meantime. I had already decided what I wanted to eat. Now it had to be something different. The starter was delicious, steak tartare. The main course was gorgonzola tart. I would have liked more gorgonzola. I didn't taste it. I think it was because of the onion. Otherwise it was tasty. Cheesecake for dessert was delicious.

With a view of the beautiful green, in the middle of the cozy and shopping center of Zuidlaren, this was an evening not to be forgotten. The price/quality ratio is more than fine. It is an honest menu that is offered and dishes outside the menu. You can tell from everything that care, taste and creativity are used here. The dishes were all surprising and delicious. What really made this experience complete is the service – friendly, knowledgeable and with sincere attention. They are the icing on the cake! The atmosphere is just right. You feel that the team enjoys working and I think that comes directly from strong management that knows how to create a pleasant working culture. You feel that as a guest, and it makes all the difference. As far as I'm concerned: five stars out of five. Here we celebrated the beginning of spring with a delicious lunch on a sunny March 21st. We had made a reservation in time and hoped for a table outside but unfortunately the terrace was completely full. But anyway, it was also great to stay inside. Cozy restaurant for coffee/tea, lunch or dinner or a drink with a snack. Friendly and smooth service. Clean place. Cozy sunny terrace on the always lively shopping street in the center of Zuidlaren. My husband enjoyed his omelette Olle Stee and I enjoyed my croquettes on delicious brown bread. Nice fresh cup of coffee and fresh mint tea with it. We were very satisfied so nothing wrong with Olle Stee.😉 Thanks for the pleasant stay and keep up the good work👌

We dined several times and there is a friendly, calm atmosphere. nice staff and manager. My son is vegan and went there for the first time on Christmas Eve. His wishes were more than adequately met. Also recommended for vegans. Oh yes, the food, delicious and nicely served.

I had a good meal here. My starter was mustard soup. That was fine. My wife had sandwiches with spread as a starter. Also fine. I had steak cooked medium, which was fine. My wife had farmer's schnitzel, which was fried a little too long. And our vegetables were el dente. Just a little too hard. But I know we are spoiled. So I give the food 3 to 4 stars. Staff was friendly, 5 stars. I can't give it 4.5. It's a nice restaurant to go to more often.

We had been eating for 12 hours, it looked good and tasted delicious. Good service, atmosphere is good, but the tables are close together and therefore often drown out the conversations of the other table guests.

We had a very nice evening at Olle Stee. We received a friendly welcome and the reservation sign on the table with our name was nice and made it personal. The gentleman who served us this evening was very friendly and has good taste in desserts. On his advice, we chose a dessert that we certainly liked (blueberry cobbler). The other dishes, mustard soup & pulled mushrooms, satay & crispy chicken burger, were also very tasty.

Service was excellent upon arrival and departure. But during the meal, the lady who served us was in a pleasant conversation with (famous?) customers for a long time, so she did not see that we wanted to order something to drink. At a table further away, she picked up the menus herself and ordered drinks at the cash register. ... Not a big deal in itself... but still something to take into account. We did not take our 2nd drink. Had to wait 20 minutes...by then we had already finished eating. For the rest... super friendly service. The food was... delicious! We will definitely come back.
