Heerlijk op het prachtige terras geluncht. Originele en heel smakelijke lunchgerechten en fijne en attente bediening.

Een avond heerlijk genieten! Geweldige avond gehad. Bas en Ramon zijn perfecte gastheren die je heel erg welkom laten voelen. Ze stralen echt tijdens het werk waarbij je kan zien dat ze trots zijn op wat ze bedienen/ serveren. Het eten is echt een cadeautje! Als vegetariër is meestal een verrassingsmenu geen succes (knolselderij, rode biet enz zijn vaak dingen die je dan krijgt) maar de chef/koks van Bij de Jongens maakt het voor elke vegetariër een feestje! Zo veel smaak, variatie en geweldige combinaties. Dikke complimenten! Daarnaast weten ze precies wat je als zwangere wel en niet mag. Echt een avond ontspanning en puur genieten (tip… neem thee en koffie na. Staat je dan een leuke verassing te wachten!)

Heerlijk gegeten. Wat een ervaring. Je zou denken dat dit minstens er sterrenrestaurant zou zijn. De gerechten zijn stuk voor stuk overheerlijk en de bediening vriendelijk en kundig. We kijken nu uit naar de volgende keer

Was superlekker! Broodje buikspek … aanrader! Leuk personeel en een fijne sfeer. Het eten werd snel opgediend en toevallig had ik ook weinig tijd.

Prettige ontvangst in een gezellige zaak die goed en gezellig is ingericht. Daarnaast ook een mooi terras. Leuke kaart en naast de voorbeeldige bediening ook topchefs in de keuken. Bestelde gerechten waren goed verzorgd en zeer goed op smaak. Daarnaast zijn ook de details op orde, mooi flesje mineraalwater, heerlijke koffie en verrassend goede kwaliteit voor een zeer redelijke prijs.

Delicious dinner tonight. Price is good, food is really good and my wife's dietary requirements were well taken into account. A peppermint with the bill would complete it ;-)

Atmospheric restaurant, friendly service and the presentation of the dishes is great.

What a fantastic evening we had at Bij De Jongens food & drinks! There were three of us and we opted for the three-course menu: twice the meat/fish menu and once the vegetable menu. With the vegetable menu we also had a special request not to use refined sugars, and the chef surprised us positively with that! We were pampered from the start. The pre-dinner amuse-bouches were absolutely brilliant and immediately set the tone for what would be an unforgettable culinary experience. Every dish that followed was a true work of art, not only beautifully presented but also a true explosion of taste. A pleasure for both the eye and the taste buds. The dessert without refined sugars was a challenge for the chef, but he proudly presented his creation. And rightly so: a beautiful and tasteful masterpiece! A big compliment to him, because such a request is usually announced in advance, but he managed to solve this perfectly on an ad hoc basis. In addition to the culinary delight, the friendly and attentive staff made the evening complete. We felt really welcome and valued as guests. In short, a fantastic evening that we will not soon forget. This restaurant is an absolute must for anyone near Hattem. Be surprised by the chef and the great team - you won't regret it. Very nice place to eat/drink in Hattem! We ended up here for lunch by chance and were pleasantly surprised. We love the decor and atmosphere, even the toilets;) We had a delicious lunch, the lunch table with various dishes is highly recommended! The service was also very friendly, thanks :)

Great food. But why wait so long? After a ballet performance in Meppel we had a nice dinner here. Reserved table at 7:00 PM. Delicious food in itself, but what is it with many Dutch restaurants that you have to wait 2 hours for your main course. It's a shame that you have to wait so long for everything. Food itself is fine. But still, a waste of experience.

Wat een fantastische belevenis. Heerlijk laten verrassen door de chef-kok met als hoofdgerecht Hert. En de klantvriendelijkheid waarmee dit alles plaatsvindt, gewoon TOP. Geweldig!

Geweldig restaurant, zowel vwb het diner als ook de service en locatie. Wij kenden het restaurant niet maar afgaande op de positieve recensies van diverse sites gekozen om hier een keer langs te gaan. Een heerlijk 4-gangen verrassingsmenu + bijbehorend wijnarrangement gekozen en het was gewoon heel erg goed allemaal. Dank "Jongens en Dame", wij raden jullie zeker aan bij iedereen!!

We had a delicious meal, despite the hassle we had beforehand. We were assigned a table at the very back of the restaurant...it was a separate room...where the two of us sat. We indicated that we did not want to sit here...the lady who served us said that this was not possible...all tables were occupied...eventually after a lot of hassle... A table has been created for us in the restaurant....in the end we have a nice evening.

Coffee and pastries were tasty. Was very busy so the wait was a bit longer.

On this drizzly gray evening, a beautiful shower of stars descended on our plates. What a festive evening. If a restaurant manages to distinguish itself with an appetizer, you can almost be sure that such an evening will be a culinary highlight. And so it happened. Top level dinner, friendly and passionate staff who do everything they can to provide us with an excellent evening. We found an oyster with a golden pearl along the IJssel. Big thanks.

Dit restaurant, gelegen in het hart van Hattem, is een prachtige plek om te eten. Zeer goed eten, supervriendelijk personeel en een leuke inrichting. Bij binnenkomst eerst in de kleine achtertuin een heerlijke prosecco gedronken waarna we aan tafel werden gebracht waar we een verrassingsmenu kozen. Alles was heerlijk en verrassend, afgesloten met kaasplankje met mooie kazen Zeker een aanrader om gezellig te tafelen. Wij komen terug!

One word fantastic, what creativity, great food and great service

Op deze mooie vrijdagmiddag lunchen in Hattem. Keuze viel op dit terras en gelukkig maar want we hebben genoten van een wrap met kip, salade met tonijn&meloen, carpaccio en zalm op brood. Heerlijk!!

Very uniquely prepared with a lot of love. 3, 4, 5 course or surprise menu from the chefs. Very friendly staff. It's wise to book in advance because it fills up quickly. You can sit indoors or outdoors, heated.

From the moment you step inside, you are welcomed into a particularly tasteful ambiance that feels both cozy and inviting. The food is truly excellent; the dishes are carefully prepared with fresh ingredients and with an eye for detail that makes every bite a real treat. Whether you choose a classic or a surprising new dish, the flavors are always perfectly balanced and the presentation is excellent. An excellent selection of wines is served that takes every meal to a higher level. What really makes Bij de Jongens special is the staff. Extremely courteous, friendly and always willing to make you feel welcome and comfortable. They know the menu inside and out and are happy to provide recommendations that will complete your culinary experience. It always feels like coming home, and we like to be pampered here.

Not a great experience. Ordered a Ceasar wrap salad. It then came as the regular Ceasar salad. We still had to pay 13,50 for this ceasar salad instead of 6 euros as a Ceasar salad side as is mentioned on the menu. Way overpriced place.

Met een tafel van 8 namen de we proeverij lunch. Een bietenwrap, de vegetarische was o.k. de kip teleurstellend, weinig smaak. Een mini mini kopje soep, wat lauw, wel o.k. Een mini mini kroket ongeveer zo groot als een halve duim met een klein broodje. Een mini broodje kaas of tonijn, die was o.k. We hadden prosecco 45 euro de fles.... Niet gekoeld! We hadden plat en bruis water, niet gekoeld! (Ongeveer om 13.00 uur, dan al door je koeling heen?) Ruime een half uur moeten wachten voordat we eten konden bestellen. De koffie zonder suikerzakjes. Op zich is dat geen probleem, maar als je het bij elkaar optelt is het geheel beneden de maat.

A beautiful place on the inside. Service on the terrace is slow. The focus of the service is more on the diners inside. If you only want to have a drink on the terrace, it is better to sit next to it at brasserie De Markt. I can't say anything about the food.

Well worth the detour! Sometimes, by chance, you come across an opportunity where everything is just right. Clean tables, good chairs, wide range on the menu, clean toilets, service with super top-class craftsmen, who play together like a well-composed piece of music. Seeing everything, everything perfect. The lunch and drinks served with an espresso afterward were perfectly and precisely flavoured. I'm not saying anything new here. Others with real catering experience and professional knowledge also experience it this way and as an entrepreneur you can be very proud of that! See picture.

My wife had made a reservation and we arrived but did not feel the need for the menu they offered. And wanted to find another place to eat. I kindly mentioned it to the waiter who responded with extreme rudeness that I would leave and be added to a blacklist. The way I was addressed and treated was rude and disrespectful.

We are often in Hattem but until yesterday had never eaten here. It was simply delicious, faultless food. Absolutely delicious. It was the best meal I have ever eaten in The Netherlands. Congratulations to Patrick the chef and the very friendly gentleman who served us. Absolutely recommended.

Het eten zag er netjes uit. Het voorgerecht met rivierkreeftjes was lekker. Het nagerecht met ijs en fruit zag er goed uit. Maar als je een hoofdgerecht krijgt op een groot bord dat gevuld is met stukje vlees en iets van vlees tussen bladerdeeg met er tussen een groene saus dat snapt iedereen wel dat men hierna nog honger heeft. Ik heb hier iets van gezegd maar hier werd niet op gereageerd en dit alles voor €43,00 Ik vind de prijs met wat ik te eten krijg veel te hoog.

Walking through Hattem, and lunch on the terrace at De Jongens. Friendly staff and fast service, it was not really busy, but it was rainy. The terrace under the awning quickly filled up. The setup was a bit cramped, so we ended up with the backs of our chairs touching each other. If there are also smokers there, it is less enjoyable. The food was neat, delivered quickly and tasty. Common prices. Nice view.

We made a reservation, arrived at 5 p.m. and were told that the kitchen would not open until 6 p.m. And then right away, your table has been reserved by other people at 7:30 PM. In short, very dissatisfied.

It was already nice, but after the recent renovation it has become even nicer. Wonderful place for a good lunch or nice drink, but certainly also for an extensive dinner. Surprise menu is highly recommended. Friendly staff too.

We wanted a bouncer after a morning of motorcycle touring. We don't have it. Disappointed, we ordered fries with mayonnaise. To our surprise, it was no ordinary fries with mayonnaise but a treat. What a beautiful thing. But more people know that. Everything is packed on a weekday, so it's a good thing we made a reservation for lunch. The friendly staff is stylishly dressed. The dishes look neat and taste delicious. The coffee afterwards was also perfect. The tea is served in a stylish pot with a delicious mini cookie. The beer glasses are not large and the wine glasses are also sparsely filled. Not your average menu. The round table at the entrance was not ideal because of the draft when walking in and out on this rainy day.

Delicious food, nice atmosphere and service. Nice small dishes and appetizers. It feels like we never had to wait long even though we had a long evening dining. Dietary requirements were handled very well!

Had a lovely time on the terrace yesterday. Good service and amazingly original bakery bread. Delicious bread and accompanying super tasty and surprising toppings. I would definitely recommend trying it.

Sat on the terrace and had a small lunch with a glass of wine. A glass of wine is never much in terms of contents, but here they really serve very little in a glass. Two sips. And that for almost 6 euros per glass. They soon asked if we wanted another drink. Well, no. Yes, everything is becoming more expensive and that is understandable. But this is really not possible.

We had made reservations to eat 5 courses of culinary delights. Facade terrace was stated in the reservation.. not knowing that this is outside on the terrace. So cold in March. I'm not going to have dinner and spend 150 euros to cool down my food and my body. The staff understood that we left after the aperitif. The local Chinese was great. So be careful when making your reservation: the facade terrace is nice in the summer for a glass of wine and some food

Last Friday we had a delicious culinary meal with colleagues (and on their recommendation) for the first time in a beautiful and atmospheric restaurant. Of course you do that at Bij De Jongens. We opted for the chef's 5-course menu without indicating preferences. For me and a colleague, there were a few things that did not really suit us, such as: fish, certain types of fruit and vegetables. They more than exceeded all our expectations and changed our minds!! We had a fantastic, pleasant and fun evening. Thank you to the staff and chefs!! We will definitely visit again!! 🤩😁😊

Delicious dishes, lots of creativity

After visiting the Bakery Museum we were looking for somewhere for lunch and saw that this was an exceptionally popular restaurant. Also during our sitting there was an increase of people trying to get a table. We put the hot plate with mini dishes for two and fries for the little one. Everything exceptionally tasty. Even the vegan mayo with the fries was better than expected. Exceptionally nice tent, but with an hour's drive it is just a bit too far to visit more often.

Good food and drinks. Good dishes with interesting flavor combinations. Smooth, friendly service and friendly owner. Nicely decorated restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Recommended!

Had a wonderful evening at De Boys. Service was good, fine wines and of course delicious food. We had the surprise menu and enjoyed an evening of fun and delicious dining. I found our place with two people at a large round table near the cloakroom to be a negative point.

Leukste plaats om te eten in Hattem. Heerlijke gerechten en supertof personeel.

Toegegeven, het is wat duurder maar de beleving, de entourage, de vriendelijkheid van het personeel en zeker niet in het minst de geweldige kwaliteit van het eten is het méér dan waard. De gerechten zijn een plaatje en smaken fantastisch! Een absolute aanrader!!

Om 12.00 uur voor lunch bezocht. Was erg rustig en muziek stond (te) hard. Zo hard dat ik eigenlijk wilde vragen of het iets zachter kon omdat ik hard moest praten tegen mijn tafelgenoot. Op dat moment kwamen er plots veel mensen binnen en overstemden de bezoekers de muziek. Acoustisch kan deze zaak beter, daarom voor sfeer geen vijf sterren. De service was prima en het eten, de klassieker desembrood met gerookte zalm was werkelijk verrukkelijk. Veel aandacht aan besteed. Heerlijk.

Op het marktplein is dit het leukste restaurant om een hapje of drankje te doen. Het eten is er lekker en je wordt snel geholpen.

Opnieuw een fantastische avond gehad met 10 personen bij Bij de Jongens. Robin verstaat z’n vak als chef als geen ander. Prachtig verrassingsmenu met oa ceviche, hert en een mooi dessert van oa rode biet. Onze gasten hadden een super avond en wij dus ook. Mede door de fijne bediening van Bas en z’n team. Dank mannen! Ga zo door!

We kwamen hier terecht omdat we een restaurant in de buurt zochten na een huisbezichtiging en we de file wilde overslaan. Het restaurant ligt aan een gezellig pleintje wat vol met kerstverlichting hing. Ik vond Hattem er sowieso idyllisch historisch uitzien, nooit geweest. Bij binnenkomst een vriendelijk ontvangst. Ik vond de keuze qua menukaart (voor diner) mager (volgens mij 3 voorgerecht-keuzes en 4 hoofdgerechten), echter was het chef's 3-gangen menu (ook een keuze-optie met meerdere gangen) erg lekker. Het was een herfstmenu met verassende smaken. Het voorgerecht, het brood, het soepje, de amuse, waren allemaal echt HEERLIJK. Ook bij het nagerecht, basilicum-ijs, nooit verwacht dat dat zo lekker was. De bediening was ook erg vriendelijk en de art nouveau-ish interieur van het restaurant, inclusief toiletten, vond ik echt heel erg nice. Als ik in de buurt zou wonen, zou ik vaste klant worden.

Ik ben hier met Oud collega's wezen lunchen. Het eten was prima, goede en vriendelijke bediening.

Sehr gutes Essen bei ebenfalls sehr gutem Service. Da werde ich gerne wiederkommen.

We hebben het 4 gangen verrassingsmenu gehad. Mooi in de sfeer van de herfst. Lekkere bijpassende wijnen. Als afsluiter een mooi opgemaakt en smaakvol nagerecht. De utstekende service maakte de avond compleet. Een aanrader!
