This is the place to be for a unique experience, come and enjoy old-fashioned service, friendly service, warm hospitality, pure coziness and excellent handmade products. Highly recommended and we will definitely come back.

Peet's is a great place to be, everything is homemade, coffee is great! Small but nice, highly recommended!

A true joy is this occasion! The owner creates the atmosphere. And with her warmth it is wonderful to relax here! The terrace at the front of the building is a very nice place to enjoy homemade apple pie with coffee, tea or whatever. And in the meantime you can enjoy the diversity of people strolling by (with and especially without an SLR camera). This place is once again on my wish list for next summer! Because I would happily cycle a bit for that apple pie! 🍀

It's like visiting your favorite aunt or perhaps your dear mother/grandmother. She will spoil you with the tastiest soup or cake. A cup of coffee or one of the many teas she has. It feels like a warm blanket when you enter and a smile when you leave. A gem in Deventer

I am writing this review a little late since I visited Deventer in July this summer. Me and my friend noticed the beautiful window of "Bij Peet, koffie thee taart en soep" and immediately fell in love with it. We wanted to visit the cafe as soon as possible the next day! The interior is so gorgeous and authentic, feels like a movie decoration! You want to pay attention to every single detail, every unique teapot that is proudly standing on the shelf. There are not so many places in The Netherlands with such a homely vibe and soul. Me and my friend wanted to order some soup (and it was delicious) but we didn't stop there. The owner was so nice and friendly that she lured us (in a positive way) into buying a dessert too. A good thing is -- all the food is homemade and the menu is changing depending on the season, as far as I understood. There was also a couple with a little baby sitting next to us. It is nice to see that the place is accessible to all ages :) Even though I had no idea who the other guests were, this cafe really made me feel like we were a bit family. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Brilliant catering business. Everything is correct.

We walked in and immediately felt at home. Friendly owners, nice space with old stuff and games. We often come to Deventer but had never been here. Next time we will have lunch here.

Super delicious coffee and an excellent ball sandwich. The homemade soups and cake are also delicious and make the choice very complete for just a bowl or a complete lunch.

After having been there once for a delicious soup, I have now finally tasted the pastries. What a pleasure. A delicious slice of apple pie that reminds you of the taste of my mother's apple pie (only maybe even better, sorry mom) and of course not with whipped cream from a can but nice full REAL whipped cream. And a cookie for the dog! Very hospitable, sweet woman who takes great pleasure in representing her business well. Recommended! You must have been here once!

Really 5/5. "Peet" bakes delicious cakes and prepares delicious soup, really fresh every day. So always surprising and prepared with love. We enjoy coming here.

Nice atmosphere, good coffee. We've walked past it so many times and it was full again, but today we finally had a spot. And yes, the apple pie, as if I went to visit someone and received a home-baked piece of apple pie. Thankful we went back outside.

A place not to be missed in Deventer! Cozy vintage decor, very friendly and hospitable owner. The homemade food is also of high quality. Great coffee too. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious Arretjes cake. We'll be back!

Sometimes you enter somewhere and you really feel a warm welcome. It's like coming to the pub for coffee. Well, from the past then. The teapots and crockery are also pleasantly familiar. Delicious coffee by the way and lovely homemade cake. (And even the toilet is decorated in an old-fashioned, cozy way ☺️).

Vriendelijk, heerlijke gerechten. Vaste plek als we in Deventer zijn.

We wonen al zes jaar in Deventer, maar Bij Peet stond nog op ons lijstje. Erg sfeervolle zaak, waar we gastvrij werden ontvangen door Petra zelf. Als lunch hebben we een heerlijke witlofsoep met brood gehad. Extra leuk vond ik dat er allemaal items gebruikt worden, zoals glazen en servies die mijn Opa en Oma vroeger in huis hadden. Prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding is uitstekend. Kortom, echt een aanrader als je in Deventer bent!

Super leuk nostalgisch koffietentje, met overheerlijke huisgemaakte appeltaart! Zelf een vinyl plaatje draaien en genieten van de heerlijke koffie!

Heerlijke plek! ♡ De koffie is top en we hebben erg genoten van de vriendelijkheid en vrolijkheid van de gastvrouw. Iedere dag verse zelfgemaakte taart en soep. Wij hadden de bruine bonensoep en die was zeer zeer smakelijk! Aanrader! ♡

Wat een service! Klein tentje met een geweldige gastvrouw. Een kleine kaart, maar dat heeft bij dit plekje juist de charme. Zeker een aanrader.

Wanneer ik in Deventer ben is dit de Go-to voor koffie! Heerlijk gebak en vriendelijke bediening. De sfeer is huiselijk gezellig en het gebak is daar een weerspiegeling van. Met liefde gebakken.

Peet maakt heerlijke, verse soep die geserveerd wordt met diverse broodjes en verse kruidenboter. Iedere dag anders. Maar altijd erg smakelijk!

Wij hebben een heerlijke ouderwetse groenten soep en een pompoen soep gegeten, beiden top. Daarbij is Peet een superlieve en enthousiaste vrouw. Een adres om zeker terug te komen.

Zeer gastvrije gastvrouw. Heerlijke koffie’s en zelf gebakken taarten. Echt een heerlijke verrassing om even te onthaasten.

Verassende soepen. Altijd gezellig!

Ein sehr schönes Cafe, welches liebevoll eingerichtet ist! Klein aber fein! Kaffee und Kuchen sind ein Traum! Der Kuchen ist selbst gemacht und das schmeckt man auch! Die sehr nette Dame hat ein offenes Ohr und ein paar Tipps für den Ort über! Alles in allem sehr, sehr zu empfehlen! Für uns das beste Cafe in Deventer!😃 Weiter so!

Heerlijke soep gegeten (Thaise Champignons-courgette) Leuke eigenaren met humor en heel knus, zowel buiten als binnen.

Wat iedereen hier zegt 😄 heerlijke soep met broodjes en verse kruidenboter, heerlijke appeltaart, goeie koffie en vooral ontzettend aardige mevrouw.

Erg lekkere koffie (latte met dubbel shotje koffie), smakelijke appeltaart, vriendelijke bediening, huiskamersfeertje. Aanrader

Als wij in Deventer zijn gaan wij altijd hier wat drinken en eten. Wat is het allemaal lekker en gezellig. En de eigenaresse is super aardig en relaxed.

Un buen sitio para tomar un café y comer un trozo de tarta casera. La señora es un encanto y es quien hace la repostería. También tiene juguetes para los niños. No le falta detalle.

Een dagje Deventer aan doen. Je loopt door de knusse steegjes en komt dan dit schattige huiskamerrestaurantje tegen. We zijn naar binnen gegaan en werden warm welkom geheten door de eigenaresse. We dronken koffie/thee met zelf gemaakte wafel met aardbeien en slagroom. Voor mijn vrouw een zelfgebakken glutenvrije bosbessencake. Wat een feest om hier even te pauzeren. Wij wensen Tante Peet hele goede zaken toe. Door zich op deze manier positief te onderscheiden zal dit zeker lukken. Chapeau!!👍👍

Wij waren hier voor het eerst Wat een fantastische zaak is dit met zoveel lekkers wat zelf gemaakt wordt door het personeel...een knapperige appeltaart uit eigen keuken heerlijk maar ze hebben ook prima koffie en zelf gemaakte soep alsof u op bezoek bent bij moeders een heerlijke soep met vulling en ballen mmmmm

Cuteness & kindness overload! Fresh homemade soup warmed us up after rainy city walk. It was heel lekker as well. Thank you for the warm foods and service!
