I really can't think of a single negative. It's good to know that the terrace is open without reservations, so you can just sit down!

A unique find. A lunch spot with a super cute decor, decked out in the most beautiful colors imaginable. The sandwiches and pancakes they serve look fantastic, beautifully decorated with lots of color and flowers. The taste is also excellent. What's really nice is that if you can't decide, you can order a combination. That's really great, because there are so many delicious things on the menu that choosing is difficult. The napkin around the cutlery looks cute with that little bow. I also had a caramel latte, which was also good. It would have been even better with whipped cream and caramel cubes. The cookie that came with it, however, wasn't that good. And if I had to mention one downside, it's the light in the bathroom. You can hardly see anything when it's on. I don't live nearby, but I would definitely come back here again if I'm ever in the area. Legend 1) Terrible! I advise against it, I'll never come back! 2) Too bad, below my expectations, I won't be back. 3) Okay, nothing wrong with it, but nothing special, nice for a one-time visit. 4) Excellent, worth coming back. 5) Excellent! We happened upon a spontaneous visit to Deventer and discovered this wonderful little café. The service was extremely friendly, and most importantly, the snack of toast, yogurt, and cake was not only fresh and lovingly prepared, but also incredibly delicious. Sitting outside also offers a great view of the hustle and bustle of the pedestrian zone. We'll be back.

Attentive, friendly and with a smile that immediately puts you at ease. She knew exactly what I needed and gave fantastic recommendations. I felt like I was getting VIP treatment! And then the kitchen... My compliments to Rozalien, the chef. What she conjures up from that kitchen is pure perfection. Every dish was prepared down to the last detail, with flavor combinations that make your taste buds dance. Fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. You can simply taste the passion in every dish! We enjoyed our visit to Toast. We had made a reservation in advance and that was definitely necessary. It is a popular spot in the heart of Deventer, so it is not surprising that it was packed. The food and its presentation were great. We will definitely come back!

Charming, Instagramesque atmosphere with delicious food and friendly staff. We ordered two brioche benedicts and green teas, and everything was spot-on, tasty and satisfying. After our breakfast, we left feeling happy and full. The total came to just over 30 euros, which felt reasonable for the quality. A tip: if you’re planning to visit on a Sunday, try to go early. By the time we were leaving (around 11 am), the place was almost packed.

But even as a cis man you can feel comfortable here. The extensive menu offers sweet and spicy little things to combine between €5 and €15. The friendly service advises me and my choice falls on the "Brunch Deal (toast omelet and avocado, freshly baked croissant, Greek yogurt, homemade strawberry jam and granola. Fresh orange juice, coffee/tea)". Since everything is freshly prepared, the guest should bring their time - but I wouldn't recommend Toast for a quick lunch. I enjoyed it excellently. Cozy to sit in, high tea was neatly arranged and very tasty! The only downside was that when people came in or left, a cold front came over you because we were right next to the door. Fortunately, it was not extremely cold outside at the time. But this is definitely recommended!

You have to experience this once, my daughters 8 and 11 loved it.. nice pink trendy styling and super fun and tasty dishes, something different from the standard lunch menus. We will definitely come back!

Super nice PINK lunchroom with delicious food & drinks! Everything has been taken care of down to the last detail: sweet flowers in the food, pink coffee and even a bow on the pink napkin of the cutlery. And everything is affordable too. Highly recommended! Love it!!!

We visited Toast for high tea on a busy day full of groups. Although I had made a reservation well in advance, upon arrival we were put at a cramped table, right next to the neighbors, which offered little privacy. To our surprise, all the food was served within five minutes, while we hadn't even chosen our tea yet. Both savory and sweet dishes came at the same time, which I already find strange. The food was put on the table with the message 'otherwise it will be cold'. Which suggests that the food was not prepared when we arrived, but had been ready for a while and they had to get rid of it. The food was really delicious but I got the distinct feeling that we were a 'burden' to have around because they were so busy with the groups. In addition, I think it's a real turn-off that everything is served at the same time. When I come for high tea, I expect to sit for at least two hours instead of standing outside again within 75 minutes... Nice place, good food, but the last time for us.

'instagramable' lunchrestaurant. Alles mooi in het roze. Het leuke van dit restaurant is dat je veel van de lunchgerechten als combi kan kiezen. Zowel toast met burata als de pannekoekjes zijn een aanrader. Minder is als de voordeur opengaat het hele restaurant in de kou zit.

Ontzettend lekker ontbeten in dit knusse, vrolijke tentje. Ze hebben een ruime keuze uit zowel zoete als hartige gerechten. De bediening is heel vriendelijk. Snelle service en super kwaliteit. Absolute aanrader.

Wat een ontzettend leuk plekje! 😍 Even een theetje en een taartje tijden het shoppen met mijn dochter. Alles klopt; aankleding, medewerkers, heerlijke taartjes en veel aandacht voor de opmaak van de drankjes en de taartjes, prachtig!

Wat een feest! We hadden niet gereserveerd, op een zaterdag ochtend, én kwamen binnen met een persoon glutenvrij (moi). Niet ideaal, maar bij Toast werden we warm welkom geheten, er werd enorm meegedacht met gv mogelijkheden en de bediening was scherp en vriendelijk. Wat een feest. Zelden zo lekker en divers glutenvrij gegeten (& de rest van het gezelschap ook!) in zo'n gezellige ambiance mét top bediening. Een aanrader!

Kan ik dit nog meer sterren geven? In tijden niet zo leuk en lekker geluncht. Het pand valt je meteen op als je langs loopt door de heerlijke roze uitstraling. De menukaart heeft een hoop leuke opties waaronder een aantal soorten pancakes en genoeg vegan/gluten-free opties. Voor de mensen met keuze stress (ik dus) kon je ook 2 gerechtjes combineren wat uitstekend was. Het personeel was super vriendelijk. Echt genoten!

Hele leuke hightea gehad voor een babyshower. Eten was lekker. Sfeer was goed en personeel aardig. Wel erg warm binnen en er brak een stoelpoot af bij een oudere dame die bij ons gezelschap hoorde.

Dit prachtige monumentale pand uit 1653 biedt een vrolijke, gezellige en vooral roze omgeving. De brunch en lunch zijn een waar genot voor zowel het oog als de smaakpupillen worden verwend. Ze serveren kleurrijke bowls, over-de-top pancakes en prachtig belegde toast en broodjes. De prijzen zijn wellicht wel wat hoog. Toast Deventer is een visueel spektakel waar kleur centraal staat. Food was nice, but the owner was not honest. The waitress offered us a breakfast deal for €5 each with coffee and a toast as it was their 5th anniversary. However, when we went to pay we were fully charged including tap water and the service. We did not claim anything for this, as we did not have a problem with paying for our food but to have been told they were giving us the promotion and then after knowing we were only in the city for 2 days to give us a different price.

Super ontbeten hier bij Toast! Het eten is een waar kunstwerkje, smaakt heerlijk, en de locatie ziet er ontzettend sfeervol uit. De eigenaresse is erg vriendelijk en gastvrij, echt van harte aanbevolen restaurant dus!

Wat een geweldig leuke plek om te lunchen ...heerlijke kleurrijke creaties op je bord ,die ook nog eens fantastisch smaken . Ik ben nog een keer terug gegaan voor een high tea ....nou die was ook super . 🍧🍰🧁 En het personeel is top ...niets is teveel ... Ik ga hier zeker nog weer eens heen

Al twee keer hier geluncht met vriendinnen en zeer goed bevallen. De Vega Bao Buns zijn ook zeker top. De bediening is vriendelijk. De inrichting moet je smaak zijn maar als je dol bent op roze en een perfecte Instagram achtergrond zoekt ben je hier zeker op het juiste adres. Ben je geen fan dan overtuigd de menu kaart wel met verschillende gerechten. Reserveren is aan te raden. Ook leuk gedeelte dat je boven kan zitten. Kom zeker nog is terug.

De sfeer is hier super! Mooi concept al dat roze en de babyshower was goed georganiseerd. Lekkere thee en zoetigheid. De hamburgers waren verrukkelijk! De spinaziepannekoekjes waren iets minder. Misschien iets van een saus of iets erbij? Tipje :)

Super gezellig voor de lunch tijdens het shoppen in Deventer. De inrichting maakt het al speciaal maar het eten maakt het af. Kleurrijk en lekker en omdat het moeilijk kiezen is kan je ook een combi gerecht nemen. Verder ook leuk als je een feestje te vieren hebt! Kom er zeker nog eens terug.
