Seated, no help until you ask. Then it turns out the kitchen is closed, while it says lunch is open until 3:00 PM... but the waitress thinks we should have smelled this, I think.

Brasserie De Jezuïet in Oudenbosch is highly recommended. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and makes you feel instantly welcome. They offer delicious beers on tap, such as the local Basiliek beer or a refreshing Lentebier. The snacks are surprisingly delicious: from a tuna melt toasted sandwich to a spicy chicken sandwich, always beautifully presented. The prices are fair, so you don't have to break the bank for a drink or a light meal. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, with charming touches like rosaries on the menu. The terrace opposite the magnificent basilica completes the experience. Dogs are also welcome and are immediately provided with a bowl of water. Perfect for relaxing after a walk or a visit to the basilica. In short: top-notch service, delicious beer, and fantastic snacks at a reasonable price!

Great advice about a fantastic quadrupel beer, and a nacho made especially for me (actually for two people) with ground beef and cheddar. Best ever...and all for only €9.50.

Nice place to have something to eat and drink

Long wait for food. After 45 minutes, they told me they didn't dare serve a dish anymore. I doubted it was still good. So, I guess the ingredients weren't fresh. They also didn't know what ingredients were in the bread. The location is nice. Beautiful square.

Very disappointing experience – agreements are not kept Prior to our visit on Saturday 17 May, I contacted De Jezuïet by telephone to inquire whether we would be welcome for coffee and cake with our group that morning at 10:30 am, on the occasion of a 50th wedding anniversary. I was expressly confirmed that this would not be a problem at all. To our great disappointment, we were informed on location that the business was closed. No explanation, no alternative, no effort to resolve the misunderstanding. For an occasion that meant a lot to us, this was particularly frustrating and painful. Fortunately, restaurant Het Zusje came to our rescue. Although they were also closed at that time, they still opened their doors and kindly welcomed us with coffee and cake. A textbook example of customer friendliness and hospitality – exactly what was unfortunately completely lacking at De Jezuïet. In short: a very bad experience with De Jezuïet. Keeping agreements and communicating clearly is apparently too much to ask. In any case, we will not be coming back here.

A café in the very attractive Oudenbosch. Staff friendly. Enjoyed soup with coffee. Coffee very tasty. I didn't think mushroom soup was anything special. Watery and little taste.

The case was actually closed. Everything was prepared and decorated for a staff party. But they were happy to make an exception for a cup of coffee. Great attitude.

Popped in today after a brisk walk. Nice drinks, wine and a snack board. It was pleasantly busy and later it became quite full. The staff quickly responded to this by moving the tables a bit so that everyone could sit. You can get different beers here and the food tastes and is nicely presented. Outside is a spacious terrace and around the corner the beautiful basilica.

Very very disappointing. We enter the terrace and ask the waitress if we can eat something quickly. That's possible, says the waitress. Someone will be there within 2 minutes to take the order. After 20 minutes someone comes to ask what we want to drink. We ask about our order. The waitress says to look but doesn't come back. After 5 minutes our drink arrives. Not quite what we ordered but okay. No food after 10 minutes. Just ask again. Waitress responds "I don't know" and walks on.

Super nicely decorated tent with a great enthusiastic entrepreneur! Details such as the rosaries on the menus indicate how detailed the competition is in this great tent! Definitely recommended!!

Last weekend, after walking the dogs, we sat on the spacious terrace in the sun. A bowl of water was immediately provided for the dogs, which was very nice. Then we had a super delicious meal. We had an extensive sandwich and sandwich with brie, honey and walnuts. Both with a bowl of fresh salad and a nice beer. Pleasant and knowledgeable service. With a view of the Basilica. Recommended!! 🤩

Had a beer on this occasion. Friendly people, nice. Unfortunately, the decor is somewhat unpleasant. The case is quite long, and straight. Now it wasn't busy, which also made the atmosphere a bit less. I didn't eat anything, so I can't rate that. Had a nice "Basiliek beer".

Very bad! If you want to have a bite to eat, some grumpy guy will come and tell you that you can't order something "because there are only two of them!!" 😡 Then keep things closed if you cannot provide service.

The lady serving paid little attention to the guests. Dressed sloppily and was constantly chewing gum. I think she radiated that she didn't feel like it at all. Very unfortunate because even though we had to wait a long time for our lunch, it tasted very good. Nothing but compliments about the other staff. The late lunch was made up for by the lady behind the bar with a free drink. Thank you!!

Beautiful business in a beautiful location. Unfortunately the weather wasn't that good so we sat inside. That was a shame, because there is a nice terrace on a nice square. We were helped friendly and quickly. Food was excellent price-quality ratio. We will definitely come back (when the weather is nice).

Had to wait very long for my order. Ordered 2 slices of bread with tuna, bread was very dry and the tuna had been scraped on it. In my opinion, definitely not worth it. I won't be coming back here again. I was very disappointed that someone else had a good meal here. But not for me anymore. This was also reported to service, but either they never receive any complaints or they simply ignore it, which is a shame. Location is nothing wrong with it, but it's not worth it.

Bread with brie was first served with a thick layer of honey. Unfortunately not a fan of honey so I asked if I could get one without honey. That was neatly arranged, but it was such dry (perhaps old) brie that it was barely possible to remove it. All in all, I was able to eat half a sandwich. Not for us anymore, a pity is a good thing. Maybe hire a real chef instead of asking a boy of +/- 14 years old if he wants to quickly make another brie sandwich.

Heerlijk geluncht op het ruime en zonnige terras met uitzicht op de basiliek.

Prima lunch, alles zag er netjes uit op het vuile glas na. Vlotte bediening al kwam de gastvrouw wat gestrest over. Normale prijzen.

Heerlijk gegeten en vriendelijk personeel ook hangt er een gezellige sfeer maar ja wat verwacht je anders van Brabant.

Over het eten kan ik geen oordeel vellen. Aangezien wij er niet gegeten hebben. Verder was het er prima toeven. Op 1 persoonlijk ding na misschien was het gevoel dat ik ergens in een nieuwbouw wijk zat en niet ergens in Brabant.

We hadden om 13.00 uur een tafel gereserveerd, zaten binnen omdat buiten geen tafel in de schaduw vrij was. Personeel was niet echt heel vriendelijk. Hebben na een hele poos zelf maar gevraagd of we eten konden bestellen. Uiteindelijk hadden we pas om 14.15 uur de 12 uurtjes voor ons neus staan. Deze waren goed maar niet bijzonder. Terwijl wij zaten te eten kreeg een personeelslid de mantel uitgeveegd. Zo iets doe je niet waar klanten bij zijn! Conclusie: hier zullen we niet snel weer heen gaan.

Bij aankomst meerdere mensen raakt het personeel in paniek. Vergeten bij drankbestelling te vragen of men ook iets eten wilt. Wil je wat eten dan wacht je erg lang.

Leckerer Kaffee, leckerer Apfelkuchen, sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Wir haben schön draußen auf der Terrasse in der Sonne gesessen. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Tische draußen nicht so schön; es gibt keinerlei gemütliche Deko.

Leuke plaats, vriendelijke bediening. Het Eten was lekker maar erg eenvoudig had er wat meer van verwacht. Tip: gebruik een meer smeuiige brie deze is niet exclusief wat je wel verwacht. Wat weinig sla ook, simpel appeltje erin. Ik zou het volgende keer niet meer bestellen.

Leuke brasserie voor een lunch of baco. Super leuke middag gehad op het buitenterras. Leuke kaart, verschillende soorten bier. Kortom,, een fijne plek voor lunch en borrel. Kom graag weer terug.

Leuke brasserie vlak bij de basiliek van de Heilige Agatha en Barbara. Vriendelijke man en vrouw in de bediening. Gekozen voor het 12 uurtje. lekkere stevige champignonsoep, prima kroket, lekkere kaas en ham en lekker gebakken eitje op vers bruin brood. Helemaal prima.

Super vriendelijke bediening, lekker Hertog Jan en Hollandse Trappist La Trappe aan zeer goede prijzen, we komen graag terug.

Vandaag een lunch genuttigd bij deze brasserie, nadat we bij een andere lunchroom om de hoek (voorheen een snackbar) zeer onklantvriendelijk behandeld waren. De uitbaatster kan beter een ander beroep kiezen, hier is ze helaas ongeschikt voor. Bij deze brasserie wel een vriendelijke ontvangst, vlotte bediening, smakelijke soep en zeer redelijke prijzen. Kortom, aanrader!

Ik kwam onverwachts en schoof aan tafel bij andere bekenden van mij en werd direct door Walter de Wit van een consumptie voorzien 👌 de Kroon was dicht om16.00 en dit op maandag middag met carnaval 🤔 wilde van mijn laatste muntjes af maar dan maar naar Wit 🍺😁 het was heel gezellig en ongedwongen relaxte sfeer..dan komt een x daar eten vanzelf nog wel een x
