My boyfriend and I had something to celebrate, but didn't want to go out for dinner. We ordered from Bistro at home for the first time and wow it was delicious! The meat was wonderfully tender and the quantity was huge. The food was still very warm and well packed. It was absolutely worth the money. We received our order within 35 minutes. Absolutely recommended!

Food was delivered very quickly, the quantity was more than enough and the quality was commensurate with the price. Highly recommended if you want to eat a bit fancier, but you can't leave the house.

Parklaan 1Last night we had dinner at Boathouse, a place we regularly and enjoy eating out. Last night, the atmosphere and experience were lacking, which turned into irritation. We reserved a table outside on the terrace two days before. The table was taken because two people had walked past despite the sign saying you'll be shown to your table. The Boathouse management didn't consider it necessary to put a "reserved" sign on it. Eventually, the terrace was extended so we could sit on a round bench by the water. It was fantastic, and the young man who was new was incredibly friendly and attentive. We had rosé and made our choice and shared it with them. We arrived at our table at 6:00 PM, the starter at 6:45 PM, and the main course at 7:45 PM. Something had gone wrong with the tables. Dessert was a brownie, which was beautifully presented, but so hard you couldn't pierce it with a fork. We had a €49 menu, which also included fries. It wasn't worth it. I went home with a bad feeling; that's not how we know Boathouse. There were a lot of new young people working the tables, who really didn't see beyond their own tables. Sadly, Boathouse is no longer around for a while.
