Bollen en wafels in Wijk 02 Centrum

We went out for dinner with friends using the Albert Heijn voucher and it was really delicious. What was new to us were the fries with Parmesan cheese and truffle mayonnaise. There was a surcharge for this, but we didn't mind and it was delicious. Friendly staff and not too busy on Friday evening.

The food itself was fine, but the evening was completely ruined by the poor organization. We waited an hour and a half for the starter and then another hour or so for the main course. Over 2.5 hours for two courses is, in my opinion, truly unacceptable. And unfortunately, this turned out not to be an isolated incident at our table. Several other tables also had to wait an exceptionally long time. Additionally, there were frequent issues with the simultaneous serving: at various tables, one dish was already being served while the other guests were still waiting. Eating together becomes very difficult this way. It is a shame, because there was little wrong with the food itself. But good food alone is not enough for a successful restaurant evening. The service, planning, and organization really need to improve significantly here. Unfortunately, this is not a restaurant we will be returning to anytime soon.

Not really atmospheric. Unfortunately. The food was very tasty though.
