Bistro Deux in Wijk 00 Heemstede-Centrum

Cozy, nice bar where you can wait until a table is free.

The starter was tasty in itself. The choice was very limited. The main course was really incredibly boring and completely unadorned. Steak with a splash of gravy on a plate and a small bowl of salad on the side. We didn't even order dessert. The choice was very limited. For 11 people, we got 3 very small bowls of fries with very small bowls of mayonnaise without a spoon or anything. For one person, they had forgotten the main course and it still had to be made, while the other 10 already had it. Scandalously bad! Also, there was a very long wait for both the drinks and the desserts.

Had a delicious meal. Friendly service. Great place!

We had the most wonderful dinner here. The filet mignon was absolutely the best and perfectly prepared! We enjoyed the warm atmosphere and the service was personal as well as professional. Highly recommend restaurant!

Very nice menu, especially the small bites. Service was top-notch, quick and professional. We enjoyed sitting outside. I didn't go inside, so I can't say anything about that.

We dined here tonight with seven people and we enjoyed it so much! It is actually quite remarkable that this is only our first time here, considering Restaurant Deux has been a household name in Heemstede for years. The menu offers something for everyone: from nice shared dining dishes to elaborate starters and main courses. In addition, there were also surprising dishes off the menu. The steak tartare (see photo) was one of them and was very well received. The prawns and the various shared dining bites were also delicious starters. For the main course, we had steak, sirloin, calf's liver, satay, cheese fondue, and salmon with prawns, among other things. Everyone was enthusiastic. The dishes were perfectly prepared, beautifully presented, and the portions were more than sufficient. You can taste that the cooking is done with care and good ingredients. The service was friendly and welcoming, ensuring we had a relaxed and pleasant evening. The only minor point of attention was that it was quite warm inside and there were quite a lot of flies present. Fortunately, that did not detract from the quality of the food, but with air conditioning or a solution for the flies, the experience would be absolutely perfect. We will definitely come back here again. A restaurant that is highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious and varied food in Heemstede.

Enjoy the cozy atmosphere in the establishment renovated in 2026. With the bar on one side and the restaurant and expanded terrace on the other, perfect for enjoying a delicious drink and a bite to eat. The food here is always tasty. We enjoy the variety of bites and flavors. This is what keeps us coming back, in addition to the great service and kitchen team.

It was delicious again. The new menu is here. It looks good. Nice that you can sit outside. Friendly service. Ate there for the first time after reopening on 25-07-26 and yes, very nice and familiar, it looks beautiful and the food was tasty. We will go again in six months.

We had a delicious meal. An allergen menu was available, and adjustments could easily be made to ensure we still had a tasty main course and dessert!

Always a great time!! And good!!! You’ve just gone through a huge renovation. The atmosphere is the same and the food too!!! Top notch.

We had a lovely time and enjoyed a delicious meal. Attentive service, and a great menu.

My favorite restaurant in Heemstede for years: delicious food, good service, and recently expanded and renovated. The shared bites are highly recommended, especially with a glass of wine or a tasty cocktail!

We had a delicious meal; first we sat comfortably at the bar for a while and then ate at a leisurely pace.

A kitchen with absolute flavor. Truly tasty bistro food. Start off with some shared bites. The calf's liver is highly recommended: they simply have it on the menu. The atmosphere is very relaxed. A selection of beers on tap and a clear wine list featuring the current red hit: Primitivo.

It was lovely and very enjoyable again.

Perfect price-quality balance Atmospheric surroundings Very friendly staff Owners brother Tanja and Marco are truly fantastic, beautifully renovated, it feels like you are on vacation. I say Hats off 🙏 go there!!! Don't wait, sitting outside is also truly lovely in nice weather! Well deserved, and don't forget article HD

We have been coming to Deux for years. We are impressed by how they continue to grow. The restaurant has had a beautiful makeover. And the food is amazing, as always. The atmosphere is also top-notch!

A true gem of Heemstede: Bistro Deux. Surprisingly beautiful dishes, just a little different from the norm, with vegetables that truly shine. Flavorful, pure, and prepared with care – you’ll love coming back here. Oh, and delicious wine with a fantastic bar.

- Amazing place, where they serve a little bit of everything. - The atmosphere is fantastic. - The owners are super friendly. Would definitely recommend 👍

Nice environment and good food! definately recommended

Excellent quality, great diversity.

From the outside the place looks smaller than it is inside. We, three friends, found the food delicious and the service very attentive!

Cheerful employee, delicious and well prepared food, nice glass of wine. What more could you want?

Nice dishes, especially the starters they serve are different from what I am used to. Small dishes, nice presentation and good taste. I had the fish as main, which was a bit overcooked, which was a shame for a KATWIJKER.

Really old-fashioned delicious food as it should be in a bistro.

Be honest, how many bistros are left? The appetizers are "to share". Very surprising and nicely served on the snack board. Main courses varied meat/fish/vegetarian. I once again had trrk in cheese fondue. No problem for 1 person. Highly recommended bistro Deux.

Nice thing. Good menu with a choice of snacks, dishes to share or traditional dishes. Tip, if you want something different, try the veal liver. All employees have a catering background. Give good attention and are very helpful. Even if you have difficulty walking, this is a good restaurant to go to.

I have been coming here for a long time and recently renewed my acquaintance after a seven-year break due to personal circumstances. They even remembered who I was and that is exceptional after such a long absence 🙏 Personal and pleasant approach, nice atmosphere and excellent cuisine...Certainly not pricey.

Onlangs in dit restaurant gegeten. Fijne tafel bij openstaande ramen. Vriendelijke ontvangst, gemotiveerd personeel. Prima wijnkeuzes. Leuke kaart.

Great seating, very friendly staff, very tasty food

Delicious food! Super good, friendly service! A really wonderful evening with good food. Recommended!

Nice bistro, lots of atmosphere both inside and outside.

Delicious fried liver. And a scroppino. What more could you want?

I moved to Heemstede last Saturday, and today I had a delicious dinner at Bistra Deux, highly recommended.

Enjoyed a delicious meal in this cozy homely bistro on the Binnenweg. The small starters for sharing are all delicious. The satay is tasty and not economical for this price. The satay sauce could be a little more exciting (very similar to the sweet Calve satay sauce). The lettuce garnish seems to have come straight from an AH bag, although it is also somewhat wilted. The rest of the guests are pleased with the sirloin steak and the veal liver. The service from this very friendly staff could be better. Often our part of the restaurant is ignored. Staff don't look around and are smoking in front of the door with friends. We often have to ask for attention. The sign in front of the door that staff is needed says it all. All in all we had a pleasant evening and ate delicious dishes.

Tonight we had a delicious meal with my friend. We all had different starters to share. One was really even tastier than the other! This boded well for the tournedos pepper sauce later. This one was also so delicious! Perfectly cooked, a really large piece of meat with delicious fries. And for dessert ice cream with something Amaretto/Macaroons. Everything really is so delicious! We often go out for dinner, but I haven't had such a good meal as tonight in a long time. We will definitely come back!!

Delicious food, lots of choice for a nice price.

Top. Delicious food. Regularly other dishes on the menu.

Good food for an average Dutch price. Location is nice too. Staff are friendly.

We sat and ate outside on the terrace again

Delicious food, nice and friendly staff

Kind, funny and accomodating staff, amazing food. The spare ribs fall off the bone and the dipping sauces compliment it perfectly. Atmosphere is really nice. We were sat on high chairs at first which were difficult for us oldies to sit on, so the staff kindly moved us to a new table as soon as it was available.

Very cozy restaurant with very friendly service. The chef makes a good job of it and it is really tasty to eat. Really great to come.

The food is good and the concept of putting your own starter together is nicely done. The price-quality ratio is decent and the staff is happy to have a chat. All in all, definitely going back

A very nice restaurant on the inside. The food is excellent, nice small starters and a nice variety of main courses. Super busy on Fridays but not disturbing. Friendly employees for pleasant service.

Had a delicious meal again on Saturday. We had a small question about the bill for our visit in December. That was solved perfectly👍🏼What a service. Highly recommended, in terms of service and quality.

Nice bistro. With lots of locals coming there. When we were there, a very noisy group was present. However, we had a nice meal.

Another nice and tasty meal with them in Heemstede, winter menu, hare pepper and deer back, it was very tasty again, as we are used to 😋👌

Heerlijk genoten van de nieuwe kaart. Lekkere Bistro

Restaurant was overigens volledig bezet. Heel jammer, bedroevend!

Nice food and nice service!!!!! I had nice time the share bites was my favorite I really enjoy them .And the restaurant was nice small cozy place !!!!

Erg gezellige plek, met overheerlijk eten! Vriendelijke bediening en leuke sfeer. Lekkere huiswijnen en creatief menu

Erg gezellige plek.

Supergezellig restaurant, goede sfeer, heerlijk eten van goed kwaliteit. Echt een aanrader.

Heerlijk eten, lieve bediening en ontspannen sfeertje

Top avond gehad, lekker buiten, lieve mensen, super eten.

Echt weer geweldig gegeten.

Lekkere tapas. Lekker biefstuk en hert. Gemiddelde prijs.

Lekker eten personeel heel vriendelijk

Aanrader.

Mooi gezellige restaurant.

Zoals altijd: heerlijk eten, vriendelijke bediening, gemoedelijke sfeer.
