Indonesisch Restaurant Sari in Wijk 00 Heemstede-Centrum

Never before have I been treated so inhospitably and rigidly by the owner of a restaurant. The four of us were treated so disappointingly. 2 ordered a rice table, 1 wanted a different rice table and 1 à la carte. It was not possible to order the third rice table. So you want to order some starters and some side dishes, which cost more than a rice table. Plus €5 extra because it did not include a main course. Not possible, the person who took the order responded sharply. When asked about the owner, she responded sharply with: rules are rules! Then we'll get on, we said. After paying €30 for drinks, we left and had a delicious meal at the restaurant next door. At least they know what hospitality is there.

This is not a restaurant, this is a prison camp run by people with the flexibility of a block of concrete. We wanted to order 3 rice tables. Two the same one different. Couldn't. Rice tables go per 2 people (it says 'from' on the menu). No problem, I'll take 4 types of satay with noodles. This is only possible with an additional 5.00 euros in cover money. What? My order would have a higher turnover than the rice table. Grumpy, unfriendly and rigid attitude. We were told that 'rules are rules'. Could Marjolein Faber be behind this? Paid for four wines and a beer (€ 29.90) and quickly left, never to return!

Excellent restaurant, nice and friendly service. What disappointed us a bit was the menu choice. Little choice for vegetarians/pescetarians except the rice table.

Strange that you have to pay separately for the rice or noodles at a rice table

Take away food only! The dishes are very tasty and well packed. Still at a good temperature when you get home.

We often pick up food from Sari and it is always super tasty!

Something has changed compared to the past, the food is very poor and certainly not worth the 90 euros, so it is our last visit to Sari.

Recently ate again. All tables are occupied, so it is a busy affair with the collectors passing through. The rice table was again more than sufficient. And super tasty. The service is attentive. Highly recommended!

Sari, a new owner, has certainly not improved 3 rice tables for 90 euros And that was certainly not the case, regardless of the fact that I had to pay for the plastic bags. The composition was very poor compared to the past and certainly not worth the 90 euros. It was therefore my last visit to Sari.

Delicious food, quiet and not too hot inside. Spacious. Classically dressed service, also very friendly. Ate a small rice table, which was fine. Definitely recommended and we will definitely come back when we are in the area!

After a long time we ate at Sari restaurant again. It was full of visitors which is of course a good sign. It is quite annoying that people are constantly walking past the tables to pick up food. Very noisy due to the wooden floor and the lack of rugs and/or curtains. So no, you shouldn't come here for a quiet dinner. The food is excellent and the employees are friendly and hospitable.

Ordered and collected a large rice table. When we get home (5 minutes) the food is lukewarm, especially the rice, soggy and cold. Several dishes lukewarm. Called employee. She felt sorry. Maybe I could heat it up in the microwave, I got the answer. I was also able to return the dishes that were lukewarm and cold and get new ones. Well...it's a shame they got their answer back

Overcooked satay Kambing, Gado Gado consisted of 1 type of vegetable, very little egg, sauce. 2 people serving in a full restaurant and just waiting and waiting. Food was also very mediocre this time.

My favorite Indonesian restaurant, always delicious food (takeout). We regularly get the excellent Indonesian rice table Sari here. The grandchildren also enjoy this very much. Lots of different vegetables and meat in very generous portions: four of us eat the 'Sari rice table for two people'. Highly recommended. Why pick up? The restaurant is almost always fully occupied. Also says something about quality!

This is the third time I have eaten here and it was disappointing. Overcooked satay Kambing, Gado Gado consisted of 1 type of vegetable, very little egg, sauce, almost no prawn crackers. The shrimp had a crispy coating, but the dough was undercooked.

I think the small saucers can be a bit warm. Everything else fine

Wát een upgrade sinds de laatste keer een aantal jaar geleden! Hele mooie verschillende en verrassende smaken! Ik ben echt onder de indruk!

Absoluut fantastisch. Sterk aanbevolen.

Dit restaurant heeft een echt Indische keuken, met een pittige smaak en het aroma dat bij de echte ingrediënten van die keuken past. Het is mooi in stijl ingericht en roept sfeer op zonder gebruik te maken van uitgestalde voorwerpen of afbeeldingen. De bediening is vriendelijk en attent, maar nooit opdringerig. Ik heb genoten van mijn nasi, saté en tjampoer.

Echt bijzondere rijsttafels. In een woord: heerlijk!

We hebben uitstekend gegeten! Gewone rijsttafel en vegetarische rijsttafel. Beter dan een paar jaar geleden. Van de bijgerechten was de roedjak bijzonder goed. Zelfs de seroendeng was lekker en vers. Volgende keer ga ik het vegetarische menu proberen. We zaten met 7 mensen in het midden van het restaurant. De 7e persoon had niemand tegenover zich. Gezelliger zou zijn geweest om de 7e aan het hoofd van de tafel te laten zitten. Het geluidsniveau was hoog, voor de ouderen in ons gezelschap.

One of my favorite restaurants in the world. Food and service are always top notch.

They have a pretty good vegetarian offering. Some dishes in the rice-table contained egg, they helpfully pointed that out, and replaced them with other items for us. The flavours were all quite new for us, we loved them all. They don't have an a-la carte menu though, so be sure to go there after building an appetite!

We enjoyed an outstanding Indonesian meal. The vegetarian "rijsttafel" was excellent. Great place for those who love Indonesian and Asian food, with amazing flavours, spices, and ingredients - served with European - Asian courtesy.

Amazing Indonesian food, very generous amount of food and large choice. The meat is excellent and sauces are very flavourful ! 100% recommended !!

Goede service, erg lekker gegeten.

Ik zou graag een betere review geven maar het viel helaas erg tegen. Ben hier met mijn twee dochters gaan eten. Rijsttafel voor twee personen van €38,- p.p. genomen en een eenpersoons vegetarische rijsttafel. Eten was lauw en de smaak van het eten viel helaas tegen. Vrij flauw en niet erg uitgesproken of enorm smakelijk. Eerder gewoon oke. De lams sate was wel erg lekker, maar dat is waarschijnlijk omdat die wel vers was gemaakt en niet was opgewarmd. Bediening is wel vriendelijk maar geen enkele keer geïnformeerd over het eten. Al met al niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Heerlijk Indonesisch restaurant. Hun rijsttafels zijn verrukkelijk. Zeer compleet en veel soorten. Ook hun a la card is prima. Ook om af te halen.

Hier is het ouderwets gezellig.

Waren als eerste klanten binnen, heel klein voor gerecht. Bestelling rijsttafel voor 4 personen gedaan. Restaurant liep lekker vol. Al deze klanten zaten al heerlijk te eten, terwijl wij ruim een uur moesten wachten. Meerdere keren aangegeven. Personeel gaf als eerste instantie dat dit normaal was, uiteindelijk klein excuus. Daar bleef het ook bij, geen compensatie of een drankje. De rijsttafel was heerlijk

Leuk klein restaurant. Het eten was goed maar had iets meer op smaak mogen zijn . Dit is uiteraard persoonlijk.

Heerlijk gegeten , we moesten er een uur voor rijden maar het was het zeker waard.

Helemaal niet gepland maar verrassend lekker gegeten. We konden er rustig 2 uur zitten zonder weg gekeken te worden.

Heerlijk gegeten, personeel had het heel erg druk vanwege tekorten, desondanks bleven ze zeer vriendelijk! Wij hadden de rijsttafel “Sari”. Kleine tip: Zet de telefoon wat zachter, die bleef rinkelen😅

Uitstekende maaltijd genoten. Volgende keer eten we ter plaatse in jullie fraaie restaurant.

Authentiek Indonesisch Eethuisje met origineel eten. Verrukkelijk.

Eten was prima, maar niet bijzonder.

Een voortreffelijke Indonesische restaurant zoals het hoort. Dat kan ik zeker zeggen omdat mijn Indonesische moeder van 97 jaar die best kritisch is, ook een goed restaurant vindt. Zeker een compliment voor de kok die de echte smaak van de Indonesische gerechten tevoorschijn tovert. Een echte aanrader dus !!!
