Bistro Jikke in Wijk 01 Sneek

Delicious food, especially the onion soup was very tasty. Only missing a bowl of lettuce or something like that. 2 halves of stewed pears (also very tasty) were the only vegetables. Service smooth and nice atmosphere.

Authentic 'bruine kroeg' atmosphere. Very nice and attentive young staff. The food was great, and prices were reasonable. The two of us entered and the place was packed, we had no reservation, so we're not optimistic. They offered us a round table for 5,which not many restaurants would. We had a great meal and a great time in this nice place. 💯 Would go again.

Formerly Hotel Osinga, now named after the late owner Jikke. Nice and old fashioned but excellent service and food, an asset to Sneek.

Had a delicious dinner at Jikke's on Christmas Eve. The atmosphere in the cozy taproom is very casual and can rightly be called nostalgic. The food, drinks, service and value for money are excellent. Highly recommended in a beautiful location, we were all enthusiastic!

Beautiful location and decor. Unfortunately we waited 45-60 minutes for lunch, which was not very special. Small croquettes on 'supermarket' brown bread, mustard from bags. Nice service but not smooth. Tip: ask customers after a while if they want a second drink..

Nice restaurant at the water gate. Ate with 2 people. Eel starter, very tasty. Main course mussels, also very tasty, dessert mon chou tart. Also tasty. Small downsides: had to ask for a lemon cloth after eating the eel, greasy hands. Also for mussels, the container for the shells was only emptied once. A larger container would be much more convenient, but less cute presentation. And no plate or anything for the salad. The mussel pan, with sauces and a piece of bread came on a shelf that was completely full, so we had to eat from the salad bowl together. Ditto for the mayonnaise of which there was only 1 container, not that tasty to dip in together. But otherwise very friendly service, delicious food and nice to sit and chat in the garden. Recommended

We had never been here before. But we had an "old-fashioned delicious" meal here. Asparagus soup with curry and coconut. And asparagus with ham, egg and potatoes. Wonderful that it is asparagus season!

Nice atmosphere upon entering. The young man did not automatically present the suggestions, but afterwards he was served quickly and smoothly by young people. Short waiting times. Tasting wine is no problem. Carafe of water available. Nice meal.

Sincerely a big pass. What a delicious meal we had tonight. The carpaccio and sugar bread desert in particular were fantastic. Main course was also sufficient. I don't review everything but this one is well deserved. Great service too.

Very tasty 3 course dinner, carpaccio, onion soup, was delicious, pork tenderloin very soft and beautifully pink, beef stew with just the right taste, Dame Blance served with chocolate sauce that hardened on ice, you never see it, perfect. And sugar bread with ice cream, delicious. And the red wine, served in beautiful glasses, was delicious. A big 10 for bistro Jikke, you really have to go here....

The decor is shyly old-fashioned, the walls are (now) cool, the curtains are faded, the drinks are good and there is now more choice, the facade is still not pretentious. However, it was recently pleasantly busy again and the table was also neatly set. The insiders know what I'm talking about, a dear cafe in Sneek.

During a nostalgic trip by boat to Sneek. Ate in the former domain of Jikke Osinga: the steak, the wine and the atmosphere were excellent! The service could use some experience.

Had an honest meal, having previously sat on the terrace with a view of the Waterpoort.

Staff not friendly and inexperienced. The candle for our cheese fondue went out twice because we were on a draught.
