This cozy restaurant is highly recommended! No standard menu, but at the same time plenty of choice for everyone. The avocado with shrimp and anchovies is really great, and the same goes for the fish dishes. My wife eats gluten-free and this was taken into account perfectly. And you can also buy the liqueurs made here for home use. We will definitely come back here!

The food was really very good. From the fish to mussels and steak, everything was first class. The supplements can be reordered free of charge. We sat near the open fireplace and were able to enjoy the ambience.

We ate a delicious trio of fish from the fish market, perfectly prepared and with sufficient and delicious garnishes. Very friendly service and ended with a delicious Frisian dessert. Absolutely recommended.

Had a great meal at this beautiful restaurant in picturesque Hindeloopen. At the end of the dinner, the owner took us to his liqueur brewery room where he let us all taste delicious home-brewed liqueurs! Had a great meal and a wonderful evening, highly recommended!

Very nice staff, nice cozy restaurant. Food was good, unfortunately not quite to our taste.

Very unfriendly and unwelcoming reception. Arrived at 1730 for drinks and snacks. There were at least 6 tables available and we sat at a table that had only been reserved at 630. We were sent away. Reason "If they come half an hour earlier then we will have to send you away". Not asking "is that a problem for you" or "maybe you can sit inside for a while" was simply not possible.

Nice meal. Management runs wild but maintains an overview. Cozy fish restaurant!

The nicest thing was that our dog, a sweet boxer, was received with all the respect and had a bowl of water before we were properly seated. There was enough space between the tables where she could lie quietly. We ate salmon and gratinated cod, among other things. The salmon was great. There could have been a little more cod, the sauce was top notch! The coleslaw is fantastic and the other side dishes are also good, including a nice Sancerre. The Leeuwarden whiskey is beautiful and soft. The service was nice, the people cheerful. A beautiful terrace on the side. A bit dark there, but all in all we had a very nice evening.

If you like fish, this is the place for you. We also went to Hindeloopen by bike as part of our boat tour through Friesland. A very nice place and worth a visit. The restaurant has a large selection of fish dishes. I had a mixed plate with 3 different types of fish from the daily catch of local fishermen. My wife had a huge clod. The side dishes were also very tasty. Our special thanks go to the young waiter who gave us wonderful advice and service. A clear recommendation to visit this restaurant!!!

We were there again yesterday. We do that once a year. The food was good as always. Because we always eat the same food. Can we say that the food always tastes just as good. The service is always top. A nice local. We'll be back next year

Discovered this restaurant by chance during a visit. We had originally made a reservation at 'De 3 Harinkjes', but they did not respond at all after making the reservation, so we went here. And fortunately because this was another great discovery! Upon entering you are immediately greeted by the home-made liqueurs. And what a choice! You can also take a liqueur tasting with 4 liqueurs that you can tap yourself. Very nice! The kettles in which the liqueurs are made are also in the restaurant, and if you want a bottle for home, that is also possible in their souvenir shop! I say, good job! Beforehand we had a loaf of bread with olive oil. We drank a verdejo and a pino grigio. You were also given a small glass of water. As it should be. My wife and I both took the fish variation as a main course. These are 3 types of fish and the selection varies depending on the catch of the day. For us this was mackerel, catfish and sea bass. This also includes 4-5 mussels per person. The dish is served with fries, tasty thick fries, mayonnaise, red cabbage salad, white cabbage salad and an extra regular salad. Everything tasted delicious and prepared perfectly! For dessert we both had the sugar loaf pudding, because let's face it: 'when in Fryslan...' It included a delicious scoop of vanilla ice cream, a great toffee/caramel sauce and whipped cream with chocolate flakes. Also great! We drank a nice cup of coffee with it. The service was very friendly, cooperative and good. We also sat in the sun and out of the wind on the beautiful terrace on the side of the building.

We ate excellently, the fish fillet was a dream, the steak was spot on. The fries are perfectly non-greasy, the salad is refreshing and has a delicious, unusual dressing. The appetizer of prawns in chili/garlic oil was very tasty and at the end a small sample of liqueur. We would love to come back to enjoy the fresh and delicious food. A small suggestion for improvement; Fish cutlery would complete the whole menu!

The entire meal was simply delicious. Starting with the really fine tuna tartare with wasabi strips and wasabi mayonnaise, with a sophisticated dressing and black sesame. The steak was perfect. Juicy, delicious with a wonderful roast sauce. In addition, the finest home-made fries and two delicious raw vegetable salads as well as another perfectly put together green salad. You don't want to be full! Strongly recommended. The best restaurant in the village. 100 percent

Delicious food! The fish is top notch, a nice variety of salads are served on your table and the fresh fries are simply the best in the world! Very nice service too. And then before you leave, taste a few home-brewed liqueurs and buy a bottle of the tastiest ones.

We first went there for coffee. We have received excellent service there. We were also able to taste and buy liqueur. Because of the great menu, we decided to let this restaurant cook for us at the end of our vacation. We weren't disappointed. The service was warm and totally attentive. The food we received was simply top notch and of top quality. We had different seafood and fish dishes. The side dish selection was great. There was mixed salad with a great balsamic dressing, red cabbage salad, fresh French fries with brandy mayonnaise and, as a highlight, a sweet and sour white cabbage salad with coarse sea salt, black sesame, caraway, fennel and anise. The dessert also a painting on the plate and simply delicious! We will definitely come back!!!

What wonderful, kind hostesses/gentlemen. A very warm welcome, delicious tasting of the home-made liqueurs, a nice drink on the terrace before we sit down to dinner. We were 4 adults and 2 children. We came here spontaneously and didn't regret it at all. The service is super nice and the drinks and food were served very quickly. The food was super tasty and of very high quality. The fish was nice and juicy and all the side dishes were perfect and very tasty.

Klasse Restaurant, wollen auf jedenfall wieder kommen zur Likör Probe

Dieses kleine aber feine Restaurant mit Schwerpunkt "Fischgerichte" ist in jeder Hinsicht außergewöhnlich. Es beginnt beim sehr aufmerksamen, freundlich herzlichen Service. Der gemischte Fisch des Tages (marktfrisch) war sehr schmackhaft, von hoher Qualität und gekonnter Zubereitung. Preis Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut. Auch die Beilagen waren sehr gut gewürzt und optisch aufbereitet. Zum Schluss ist noch das wirklich ansprechende Ambiente mit der Likör Destille zu erwähnen. Schade, dass dies unser letzter Tag hier in Friesland war (zumindest für diesen Urlaub), sonst wären wir gerne nochmal wieder gekommen.

Wat een heerlijk no nonsens restaurant. Wij werden zo vriendelijk ontvangen, waarbij wij eerst een likeurtje kregen aangeboden om te proeven. Daarna aan tafel om de menukaart door te nemen, wij hoefden niet lang te wachten op de gangen. En het was overheerlijk, heerlijke pure smaken van de vis, schelp en schaaldieren. De patat was ook overheerlijk. Dikke aanrader voor de visliefhebber !

Wir waren jedes Jahr hier die Fischplatte für 2 Personen Essen und waren immer äußerst zufrieden. Dieses Jahr wurden jedoch die Portionen verkleinert. So war die Portionsgröße bei den Krautsalaten wesentlich kleiner und statt je 1 Filet pro Fischsorte für jede Person gab es nur 1 Filet pro Fischsorte das einfach in zwei geteilt wurde. Das finde ich bei dem Preis nicht gerechtfertigt. Hätte mir lieber eine Preiserhöhung gewünscht anstatt so einer Veränderung.

Geweldige tent. Voor €90 eten + drinken (2) vistableau met alle soorten vis (incl tonijn, langoustine en kreeft), friet en salades. MEER dan genoeg. Salades waren echt top. Service was echt goed (jong maar deskundig en erg vriendelijk) . Geen ster of zo, maar locatie en eten, en brouwerij, geweldig.

Gepassioneerde eigenaars en een prima keuken. Heerlijke vis varianten en mosselen gegeten. Wij werden prima verzorgd en hebben een leuk gesprek gehad. Na afloop werd er verteld over de likeuren en creme 's die ter plaatse worden gemaakt. Het was een leuke avond.

Super nette Mitarbeiter. Es wurde sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert, war aufmerksam und wirklich schnell. Wir hatten die Fischplatte für 2 Personen und waren begeistert. Mega lecker, ausreichend viel. Leider wollte man mir nicht verraten womit der Weiskohlsalat angemacht ist, er war mega lecker. Wenn wir wieder in Hindeloopen sind kommen wir gerne wieder

Wir hatten gestern eine super leckere Fischplatte für zwei Personen und ein Steak. Die Vorspeisen und das Hausbrot mit Öl Dip waren auch lecker. Sehr guter Service, bei Fragen sehr nette Antworten und Hilfe. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall dort zu essen. Karte wird mit QR Code auch auf Deutsch übersetzt. Vielen Dank für den tollen Abend.

Einfach rustikale Innenausstattung. Die Meeresfrüchte sind super. Besonders zu empfehlen die Platte für zwei Personen. Unbedingt Nachtisch und einen der tollen Liköre probieren. Eine freundliche Bedienung rundete das schöne Abendessen ab.

Heel gezellig gegeten met mooie producten, echt top! Een kleine tip, hadden vis plateau voor 2 personen besteld, was echt top, maar misschien kunnen jullie het anders presenteren. Alles kwam op 1 diepe schaal waarbij de helft van de mooie vis niet zichtbaar was, die lag onderop. Het deed niks af aan de kwaliteit maar het oog wil ook wat😜 Restaurant Sudersee , een aanrader!

Wir waren zur Verkostung und zum Einkauf von Likören dort und wurden freundlich empfangen, ausführlich beraten und fröhlich bedient. Hier ist garantiert für jeden was dabei. Sehr empfehlenswert! Beim nächsten mal werden wir auch was essen!

Gister gegeten bij Sudersee, op dit moment het hoogste gewaardeerd in Hindeloopen. We vonden het geen goede ervaring. Het eten, we hadden 3 gangen, was matig en vaak, met name alle salades/groente erg zoet gemaakt. Het vlees van de Eendenborst was voorzien van harde stukjes (zeen?). De bediening buitengewoon vriendelijk en bij een ander erg bot. Zonder de zeer vriendelijke bediening te kort te doen, springt het botte er dan uit. Toen we vroegen bij het dessert of er iets te maken zou zijn zonder koemelk eiwit en gluten, kregen we het antwoord dat de desserts op de kaart hetgeen is wat er is!! Gelukkig schrok de medewerker er zelf van en bood excuses aan. Het idee om dit gewoon aan de keuken over te laten kwam niet op. Uiteindelijk reikten we zelf aan dat 2 bolletjes sorbetijs misschien een optie zou kunnen zijn, werd dat het kaal en geen franje voor 4,50 euro…

Afgelopen weekend Heerlijk buiten gezeten en fantastisch goed gegeten. De bediening was zeer vriendelijk en grappig. Een goede sfeer!!!
