I dined here with a group of nine people. One of the guests is a lactose-free diner. This was taken seriously from the start, and the staff accommodated us very politely and effortlessly. Both the explanations of the dishes and the alternatives offered made us feel truly well-informed. The overall experience was excellent. The atmosphere was pleasant, the staff exceptionally friendly, and the service very attentive. The food was also of high quality and beautifully presented. In short: we had a wonderful evening. A restaurant I can absolutely recommend!

The restaurant was packed on a Saturday evening, so it's a good thing we had a reservation. Nevertheless, the service was very friendly and prompt. The food we ordered arrived quickly, too. Honestly, we've never eaten such delicious spare ribs. We were truly blown away and completely stuffed! One tiny drawback: it was very loud. Nevertheless, we give it 5 stars and highly recommend it!

I can't help but give my all! Food is fantastic! The boneless rib with mango chutney on a bun tastes fantastic! Worth the 12-hour wait! The meat is fantastic! Friendly staff, nice clean restaurant on the water! I'd recommend going there soon.

The chicken skewers marinated in yogurt dressing were delicious and exceptionally tender! The Austrian Riesling complemented the dish perfectly. The affogato coffee with Grand Marinier made for a perfect ending. And the service was prompt and very friendly!

Everything you need for a delicious meal is here. They're also happy to accommodate your dietary needs. My favorite: the Boneless Ripp sandwich.

The food was delicious and the portions were generous. We especially liked the friendly service. There were art supplies for our daughter, and the selection on the children's menu was quite diverse compared to other restaurants. We'd be happy to come back.

The service was very friendly and attentive. The food itself was good, but unfortunately, everything was swimming in (olive) oil. This message didn't sit well with Johnny Bravo, in his tight turtleneck. "The chef doesn't use olive oil. I'll let you know. They'll take that into account from now on." We don't need it anymore. Fish in oil is understandable, but with tournedos, it's a bit less so. Too bad, it's a nice spot, but a one-off for us.

This restaurant is simply more than recommended – we return there regularly. Tonight we arrived tired and worn out, and the place was packed. The host offered us a later time slot and promised to let us know if a table became available earlier – even right next to our boat. And sure enough: a short time later, completely soaked by the rain, he knocked on the door to give us the good news. What service – simply fantastic!

Beautiful location with a view of the marina, a surprising menu, many tasty and beautifully presented dishes, and fast and efficient service.

First, the good news. The restaurant has a really nice ambiance with seating inside, in a winter garden, and outside on the terrace. Our server was very nice and accommodating. The lunch menu was varied, including vegetarian dishes. The only vegan options, however, were a slice of apple pie and an appetizer from the dinner menu. A baked beetroot on a very small amount of finely shredded iceberg lettuce. I hadn't ordered it as a starter; it was supposed to be my lunch, but unfortunately, no salad or bread was offered. The food tasted good. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio wasn't right here. Once, and never again. What a shame.

Had a wonderful meal with colleagues at De Kajuit tonight. The service was absolutely spot on! I dropped my knife, and before I could even pick it up, they offered me a new, clean one. Now that's what I call top-notch service!

A favorite in Sneek, a charming, authentic restaurant by the water. It's become a regular family meal during the first weekend of Sneek Week (I'd recommend making a reservation). Three birthdays that evening, the music starts up and the whole restaurant sings along, as if everyone knows the birthday person (I have no idea...). I'm talking about the atmosphere.

Great location for good food. Very atmospheric decor and friendly, attentive staff. Boneless ribs, chicken skewers, a salad of your choice from the salad bar, and the lime crumble. A good idea for next time!

We enjoyed our dinner with the family. We received a warm welcome from Harold upon arrival, and the entire evening was well-cared for by the excellent service. The atmosphere is fantastic and the decor is very pleasant, with plenty to see.

A restaurant we often enjoyed visiting. Unfortunately, tonight wasn't a success. It was very busy, and the waitress asked if we could order our main course. We quickly finished the bread platter, but it took another hour for the main course to arrive. I didn't find the food particularly special. The steak was overcooked and tasteless, and the fries were hard and dry. The salad from the salad bar was, however, as usual and tasty. Too bad, we were all quite disappointed with the food.

It feels like stepping into the cabin of a former cutter; the atmosphere is relaxed and convivial. The food is excellent, and the service is fast and informal. Suitable for a cozy getaway for two, but also suitable for larger groups. Highly recommended. Reservations are recommended for larger groups to avoid any disappointment.

What a nice restaurant, located at the marina. Enthusiastic, disciplined staff. Menu with something for everyone. And very special: senior portions possible. Extensive salad buffet available. All of this of good quality at a reasonable price. A real recommendation.

Good atmosphere, great food. Fries were put on the buffet too early so limp and soggy. Otherwise well taken care of.

The value for money is very good, and the location on a beautiful little harbor perfectly matches the ambiance. I would definitely pay this restaurant a visit and enjoy the bar after dinner.

We often visit De Domp 1 by boat. For us, there is no more beautiful marina. The Kajüt restaurant is a must. Five stars aren't enough. Everything is perfect.

Apparently I'm having luck with food this week, just like tonight at De Kajuit. The terrace is full of people, it is warm and cozy in the summer. The menu is extensive and even includes 'senior' portions. I went for the chicken skewer. Salad from the salad bar (well taken care of!), side dishes, fries, fried potatoes, sauce, mayo. A senior can eat almost twice of this. Fine! Very friendly staff and fast service. I will definitely come back here again! Compliment! Keep it up!

The fish dishes were very tasty and perfectly fried. The side dishes were plentiful and beautifully presented. I particularly liked the self-service at the salad bar.

There are senior meals and that is excellent if you are not a big eater when you are older. If only there were more restaurants that also included this.

We've been coming here for several years now! We award at least ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the food, the nice, consistent and super friendly team and for the super nice chefs.. it's always like coming to friends. The food is super tasty and of a very high standard! We always look forward to eating there when we are in Sneek.

We were here for the first time and will definitely come back. Nice service, not pushy. And a delicious meal. We will definitely come back to this pleasantly decorated store.

It was a great sunny day and we sat outside at one of the free tables. When we ordered we were told that food would not be served outside after sunset because it would be too cold then. A bit excessive for my opinion, because I think I can decide for myself whether I'm cold or not. Everything inside was full, so no food for us. It's a shame, because the location of the restaurant is actually very nice and what we could see on the plates at the neighboring tables (outside) looked quite good. Unfortunately, this is how you scare away guests.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant De Kajuit in Sneek. The marina location offers beautiful views that perfectly complement the dining experience. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent. I was particularly impressed by the cocktails, which were prepared with creativity and care. The cleanliness and maritime ambience of the restaurant also contributed to an all-round successful visit. I can fully recommend De Kajuit.

A very beautiful, maritime-style restaurant with a view of the "Jachthaven De Domp." The very friendly waitress served us "fried zander fillet with mustard and herb sauce" and "surf and turf salad" (fillet with teriyaki and scampi with chili sauce) for lunch yesterday. Today (King's Day) we were fortunately able to get a table without a reservation at the cozy restaurant De Kajuit! And what a great time we had! We felt welcome, enjoyed the atmosphere and the food: asparagus with salmon! Despite the fact that it was super busy, we were served well/quickly and the staff was very friendly. A big ten for the owner, the serving/kitchen staff and the top chef(s)! We will definitely come back to you ; )

Music far too present. We were not served the food at the same time. Quality of vegetarian dish very poor. Spare ribs not tasty either. Other dishes were good. Fried potatoes were tasty. We had high expectations after all the positive reviews. But we won't be going back anytime soon.

We were here for the first time today. And we have to say... it was soooo great! The owners (we assume - father and son) are super attentive and friendly. But the staff is also super nice and friendly. The food was super delicious... my wife ordered the carpaccio twice...as a starter and dessert!😂. We'll definitely be back!!! A little tip...reserving is very important as it is very busy.

The undersigned lives in the Veluwe there are plenty of game restaurants there. Here in Sneek, near the Sneekermeer, my idea was to order the pike-perch. Went for the game menu. No regrets. Beautifully pink fried deer steak. Very nice employees and a nicely decorated place. Was packed...HIGHLY recommended

We arrived at the parking space today. We wanted to have a drink and something to eat. What can you say: Very tasty food… Great service and the restaurant is very cozy. Every table was occupied and we had to wait at the counter. That's how it should be. Very highly recommended. Those days will definitely come again.

Twice a year I come from Amsterdam to De Kajuit especially for a bite to eat. We are no longer customers but we have become family.

Music that is too loud should be background music. Snitzels were very dry, probably left under heat lamps for too long. Dame blanche fine ice cream. Service, 3 different people serve you, first clear the table and then bring the dessert.

The restaurant 'De Kajuit' in Sneek has been our restaurant for decades. First-class food at a high level. The ambience and the view of the harbor - great. We are always happy to be there again. Reservation recommended. Open from 11 a.m. in high season.

For the second time with the ship at anchor and for the second time completely thrilled! The restaurant: a dream - you can only find a better ambience in the travel catalogue. The staff? So nice that you almost want to make them crew. The food? To kneel down! And as if that wasn't enough: the berths right in front of the door - you couldn't get more VIP than that. Clean sanitary facilities in the harbor round off the whole thing. Conclusion: You don't just eat here, you like to anchor here... and preferably forever!

We were a party of six. We all agreed that the food was excellent. The helpings were generous. We had an eight year old in our party . It was her birthday and the staff provided a really nice celebration to mark the occasion. I highly recommend this restaurant.
