Bistro Nice! in Westwijk Zuid

Nice and cozy room, good service. Top day/top evening..

We had a wonderful meal with 7 people, thanks to the horeca Amstelveen book we got a 25% discount which gave us a 50 euro discount, great!

They don't have vegan options, so I have to call specifically because I'm going on a staff outing, and then I get the papadum with vegetables and feta, but without the feta. A papadum with vegetables isn't a meal; a meal should contain some protein, and it was completely tasteless. Google a recipe if necessary. And then charging €15.50 for it? It's absurd! Climate change exists, so the least you can do is put one plant-based option on the menu...

Aangezien ikzelf van beroep kok ben hou ik enorm van speciale combinatie´s.Laat je gewoon verrassen door het buikspek met gamba´s en laat je verrassen door de subtiele combinatie van varkensvlees met schaaldieren. Echt een aanrader met ook hun lekkere Syrah! Natuurlijk valt er over smaak te discussiëren maar ga en overtuig jezelf.

Made a reservation by phone at 11:30 am for a table at 6:30 pm. When you get there, everything has already been given away in terms of tables. Went to another restaurant that did have a table available. Colijn!

Really fantastic here! Highly recommended. Everything we have eaten has been excellent! Besides the great food, incredibly good hosts! You don't often come across such a service! Really great!

Very good food, delicious wine, friendly, courteous staff, attractive atmosphere

They did renew the entire place and also changed the menu completely. I went there with my wife and a couple of friends and we enjoyed a really nice dinner. All the food was good (I ate a french onion soup, rib eye and Tarte Tatin), and we also got a nice-o-cello, a limoncello made by the Bistro. Everything was really well done, and the beef was at the right cooking point that I did request. Definitely, it's a place to come back again and try the other dishes.

Cozy, low threshold and good atmosphere

Trotz gemeinsamem Aufenthalt im Hotel wurde man hier willkürlich getrennt, in der Hotelbar gibt es das nicht, auch wenn man den ganzen Tag zusammen arbeitet. Getränke mehrfach ohe Eis mit Zitrone bestellt, bei allen kam etwas anderes an Essen kam schnell und war ok aber vom Preis viel zu teuer, auch die 10% die man im Hotel zusagte wurden nicht berücksichtigt Schade aber beim nächsten Hotelaufenthalt werde ich dann lieber etwas laufen um zu essen

Delicious food for a good price. We had prawns, carpaccio, spare ribs, steak, ice cream with strawberries and dame blanche. Everything tasted very good! The staff is friendly and the restaurant has a nice interior. We'll go there again soon.

Tijdens onze rondreis in Nederland kwamen we uit in Amstelveen. Aangezien onze hotel tegenviel en geen cocktails had, besloten we een stukje te gaan lopen. De meest dichtbije tent was Bistro Nice! We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door een toffe gastheer die in was voor een lolletje (dat was iedereen trouwens, en totaal niet hinderlijk) Leuk! Hier hadden ze wel een cocktailkaart, en wat hebben we genoten. Een dag erna zijn we hier nog een keer heen gegaan, dit keer voor eten. We namen twee gangen. Een garnalencocktail (voor 12,50) wat overigens best aan de prijzige kant was voor wat je kreeg. En we namen allebei een Griekse burger, deze was heerlijk en wel goed qua prijs-kwaliteit. Daarna hebben we nog even lekker geborreld. Een gezellige, lekkere tent die wij als aanrader willen noemen!

We had a great evening tonight for our 50th wedding anniversary. The food was great and super fun and great service, also for the chef, it was and is in a word a great group and thanks again Gijs and Yvonne Rijneker, see you next time

Nice meal. But that's it. A waiter who cannot open a bottle of wine properly and leaves the remains of cork in the glasses. There was nothing wrong, but unfortunately the added value of a good Bistro is not there. A six as a score

I ate there yesterday and today. What a nice restaurant with very friendly staff and the food is good. The waitress ladies are sweet and charming and very skilled in observing and serving. I leave with a good feeling and thank them for the delicious food and good service.

This afternoon we first went bowling with a large group of people, with a snack and a drink. Afterwards we had a delicious dinner in Bistro Nice, which was absolutely fantastic. 5 stars also for the chefs and the service. Thank you.

When it's busy they are forgetful I ordered a coke 5 minutes later still none so I asked the service that came by again and it took about 10 minutes and still nothing I asked the service again 5 minutes later he came and immediately gave the order and also waited a long time but Well that takes a while then I was only served the main course and 5 minutes later the side dish that came with it... I am very disappointed

Bad, shrimp cocktail. It was a glass of green with cocktail sauce and really 9 shrimps on the edge, service was not fast, the customers did not notice so they had to go to the bar themselves. So bad, too bad.

Very nice and relaxing environment. Food is OK but don't expect any magic. Portions are large enough. Pricing is reasonable for the area.

Decent food and friendly service; had pork fillet which was cooked to perfection, although very little mushroom sauce. All the waiting staff vanished to cover a function, meaning I had to go hunting to pay the bill. I was impressed by the cheese & port, was just enough for one.

Cozy restaurant with good service. Delicious food and good wine. The house wine is tasty (especially the Chardonnay-Viognier), but the other wines on the wine list are also worth trying. I come here regularly, in addition to the regular menu, they have a separate specialty menu that changes every few months. The dishes are beautifully presented and attention is clearly paid to them! The dishes are well priced. The service is very friendly, they do their best to please everyone. Free parking in front of the door. Highly recommended!

Food is good but don’t go with kids. We waited one hour long for the main course (arriving at 6 pm and at 7:45 pm still waiting the main course); in between we asked if possible to serve the kids menu first, no action was taken.

Perfect welcome (very friendly staff) and tasty dish with good products. Fairly limited wine list and reasonable prices. The big downside is a very noisy room.

Had a super fun evening with friends at Bistro Nice in Amstelveen. The service was very friendly and helped us well. The menu contains dishes to suit everyone's taste. And it is a cozy restaurant, with a nice atmosphere! We had carpaccio and salmon crostini beforehand. As a main course we had chicken satay, mixed grill and a stew. The food was of good quality and served beautifully. For dessert, my friends had the petit grand dessert and I chose the Breton pear tart. The petit grand dessert included limoncello ice cream/cake, which seemed very tasty to me, but because I don't like chocolate, the petit grand dessert was not an option for me. Hence my choice for the Breton pear tart. In the end I was served this with a piece of limoncello ice cream/cake!!! How nice that this was possible and very nice of the staff!!! I will definitely come back here again!!

Had a bad meal here last Tuesday. Beef stew came from a can with hardly any meat to be seen. Vegetables were not fresh, as was the salad that had probably been in the refrigerator all day. The roots were already completely discoloured. Only the fries were freshly fried. Too bad...never here again. Waste of money.
