The three of us ate here last weekend; the Bistro is a nice place on Nieuwstraat in Medemblik. The place was almost completely full, and that despite the fair taking place this weekend. The service is really very good, it's just a shame that when we arrived, no one came to take our drink order for the first 10 minutes. That was more than made up for afterwards, though, and we were served very well. Let me start with the prices: way too high for a bistro, especially when you know that all side dishes have to be ordered/paid for separately. Fries with some cheese on top cost 5.75 euros, beef steak 32.75, and if only it were truly top-notch. No, the food is just good, nothing special, but it still lacks some vegetables or other garnish. You expect much more given the prices. All in all, mixed feelings.

The two of us went out for lunch. It was delicious; we gave them free rein and let ourselves be surprised. It was great. Thank you.

We had a great meal, beautiful tuna steak and ribeye. It is very unfortunate and disappointing that you then get 3 small heads of salad without dressing or anything added.... I think: a head of lettuce, a tomato, an onion, etc., surely that isn't that difficult.....?

We had a delicious meal in a charming restaurant. If some vegetables were added to the main course, it would be perfect. It felt a bit bare as it was, like just two soles on a plate. The dessert was delicious.

Here, you don't just feel like a guest, but truly welcome. The food was truly fantastic. Everything is prepared with top-quality ingredients and made with enormous craftsmanship and love. Every course was a feast and perfectly balanced. Honestly, as far as we are concerned, this restaurant absolutely deserves a Michelin star. The atmosphere is also magical: beautifully decorated, stylish, and atmospheric, in a stunning, characteristic house where you immediately unwind. Everything is just right here — the food, the people, the ambiance. An evening at Bistro Op 3 is not just going out to eat, but an experience that stays with you. Thank you, Michel and Yvonne, for your warmth, passion, and incredible hospitality. We would love to come back!

Due to the closure of the old restaurant, I still have a voucher left that was supposed to be valid until 2028. Same owners, but now suddenly not anymore. After contacting them, nothing is possible anymore. Unbelievable! Even finding a solution for a potential visit was not possible.

Unfortunately disappointed by the owners of this restaurant. A voucher worth 150 euros (valid until 2028) could no longer be redeemed because the "administration" was closed due to a takeover of the old restaurant. I tried to mediate or find another solution, but absolutely nothing was possible anymore. I would expect a little more leniency for such an amount. I would have loved to have a bite to eat here, but that is not going to happen.

Mediocre food quality, side dishes very salty. We asked for tap water, it was in a bottle. It turned out that half a liter cost 2.75 per bottle. A second bottle was placed on the table without us asking. When settling the bill, it turned out we had to pay €5.50 for water. Not happy with that. We also informed the wait staff of this... Price-quality ratio is also not balanced... too expensive for what is served. Ambiance ok, acoustics mediocre, quite noisy Plenty of areas for improvement.

It was a wonderful visit. The service, the menu, the quality of the food, and the price left nothing to be desired. Highly recommended.

After several visits to Meijers 2.0, now (finally) for the 2nd time at BistroOp3. The 1st time it was Sushi Sunday, but this time it wasn't a theme; we simply had a delicious meal from the menu. The food was truly excellent and the service very attentive and hospitable. The only downside is perhaps the acoustics; when it is full, it is quite a cacophony of sounds, making it difficult to understand each other well. Otherwise, it is highly recommended.

Great for dinner. We went on Sunday evening. Lobster soup, chicken croquettes, tuna steak, sole and fries, salad, and risotto. Everything was really delicious. Minor quibbles: the fish soup was very strongly seasoned, and the lobster flavor was a bit overpowered. The pesto itself is tasty, but a bit out of place with the tuna, which is a personal preference, of course. The salad is rather basic: coarse leaves with a generous dressing. The fries were delicious and fresh, but boy, should we be able to do with less salt! The risotto and cheese board were absolutely delicious. Service was very inconsistent, with three different waitresses at the table; one of them was having a bad day and sometimes just shoved the food right under your nose without saying a word. That just doesn't quite complete such a special dinner. A shame.

What a delicious meal we had here. We're still enjoying it the next day. Thank you for the fantastic evening.

Pleasantly surprised, everything was perfect. All the dishes were delicious (only the burrata starter was good, but nothing special). My partner's shrimp in garlic oil (which I normally don't like) was divine! We both had the eggplant for our main course, super delicious, a good portion. We also had the cauliflower, which was not too hard, not too soft, and flavorful. Very friendly service, generous portions (a reasonable cup of tea/coffee), and a good atmosphere. We left happy.

I have no idea what existed before the church in Andijk, but as a guest enjoying the third concept from these hospitality giants, there's only one possible conclusion: PASSION. And in this industry, it's primarily the combination of the white brigade and the black brigade—the "front-door dealers 😉"—that drives the success. Either way. It was perfect again.

Super nice little bistro near the harbor. Very stylish ambiance, yet typically relaxed and very friendly in a typically Dutch way – including the staff 😊💐 We had bitterballen with chicken and lobster, as well as fries with Parmesan and mayo. DELICIOUS 😋 The prices were a bit high, but definitely within reason. Thank you for the delicious break on our city walk in Medemblik! Thank you very much 😘

While on vacation, we discovered this restaurant by chance. I recommend it! Everything was delicious, the service was fast, and everyone was very friendly. A very good experience!

Echt een aanrader om hier te eten! Gezellige locatie en vriendelijk personeel. Het eten was met liefde en passie bereid, heel verrassend smaakvol! Vooral het toetje, de dame blanche met zelfgemaakt vanille-ijs.Heerlijk!! We komen zeker weer terug.

Continuation of Meyers with an adapted concept. Great atmosphere, top service and very good food: the bistro concept is excellently implemented here. However, there are some dishes on the menu that have been adopted from Meyers. I'll be back!

Very tasty food, nice ambiance and surprising combinations. Delicious Italian wine with it. Prices are high, but we will definitely come back again. Forgot to photograph dishes:-)

This restaurant is truly amazing! The environment is very atmospheric, with a bit of European country style. Exquisite paintings and design lighting are hung on the walls. The overall space makes people feel warm and relaxed. We ordered appetizers and desserts - the appetizer was avocado with raw ham, the raw ham was very delicious, and the avocado taste was not too strong; the main meal was minced beef with a ring that should be raw ham (not sure), it tasted a little salty and could be eaten with bread; the dessert was classic caramel pudding, the caramel crispy crust on the surface was baked just right. The service is also very friendly and the overall dining experience is great. I recommend giving it a try!

De bediening was vlot en vriendelijk maar wij hadden aan eenmalige kennismaking ruim voldoende. Hoofdgerechten meer dan gaar, eigenlijk zonder enig garnituur geserveerd. Water heet Sourcy op de rekening en lijkt veel op water dat zelf van gas voorzien is en dan is 6,5 euro stevig aan de prijs.

We eat at Bistrop3 more often. Homemade chips are on the table upon arrival. Also an amuse-bouche on the house. The steak tartare is delicious and the other dishes are also very good!

It was really, really good!!! We showed up without a reservation and in a "dog outfit" around 6 p.m. on Friday and got a place without any problems. The service was very attentive, friendly and accommodating. Everything very clean. We chose the 3-course menu and were not disappointed. The oysters were fresh, the prawns on a delicious pancake-like something were really tasty. We both had half the lobster with half the chicken. Yes, it's an unusual combination but it was very tasty. Also the dessert: really good. A clear recommendation. We'll be back. Certainly. 👍😊

Lunch bij BistrOp3, al zo'n 5 jaar gevestigd in het oude Waaggebouw van Medemblik. Van het interieur van de Waag zijn een aantal zaken bewaard gebleven, zoals het piepkleine kantoortje van de waagmeester. Leuk .. de zaak is verder aantrekkelijk ingericht. Terras aanwezig. Onze lunch smaakte goed .. wij namen "Mix en Match", elk drie broodjes met 3 soorten beleg naar keuze uit lijstje met 6 soorten beleg. Gerookte zalm, caprese en steak tartare lekker .. de eiersalade miste wat pit. Leuke zaak, prettige vlotte bediening. Gaan er vast ook eens dineren.

It was very quiet due to water week, but the service and food made up for everything. Very tasty meal with excellent wine. Slept in the attic room and had an excellent breakfast worthy of a restaurant. We will definitely repeat

What a treat to be guests of Yvonne and her team. Original menu, friendly service and the restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere. And when we needed something, she helped us immediately without thinking about it.

I usually don't like five star reviews, but in this case I have no choice. The food was great, the service was great, the atmosphere was great. And what an incredibly beautiful, quiet and, above all, spacious restaurant!

We had a shared 4 course dinner there.. That meant: both the same snacks (all in all a delicious dinner)..., in a very cozy restaurant. And what nice, friendly service! We really enjoyed it. Definitely worth eating there every now and then. A top restaurant!

Das Carpaccio war leider relativ geschmacklos. Die Spare Ribs gut gegart. Das Steak auf den Punkt gegrillt. Leider muss man die Beilagen extra ordern und bezahlen, was die Gerichte dann doch teuer macht. (Spare Ribs 22,50€ + Pommes frites 4,50€ = 27,00€; zuviel für die dargebotene Menge)

We hebben hier genoten tijdens d mosselavond. Ik nam oesters vooraf. Daarna zelfs 2 desserts genomen en koffie met friandises toe. Het was allemaal supervers en de presentatie was ook super. We genoten van het serverende personeel. We hebben echt een topavond gehad.

Al diverse malen geweest, altijd heerlijk gegeten. Vandaag 30/6 voor het eerst het shared dining menu gekozen. Echt top, goed concept, kleine heerlijke gerechten, van alles kleinere porties en in totaal meer dan genoeg. Top ervaring weer, ga hier mee door. Heerlijke gezellige bistro, sfeervol, één van de gezelligste restaurants in heel Noordholland... Nogmaals, Top 👌👍 Hoop dat de samenstelling van het shared dining menu regelmatig ververst wordt

Slechte bediening. Personeel ziet het werk niet liggen en wordt niet goed aangestuurd/ begeleid door de vrouwelijke eigenaar (?). Voor 2 (vette) tosti's en 2 glazen (geen flesjes) Rivella 20 euro afrekenen. Wachttijd tosti 20 minuten. Rekening gevraagd die ik uiteindelijk, na 10 minuten wachten, maar binnen ben gaan betalen.

14 mei Het is vandaag moederdag. We zijn maar Medemblik gereden naar BISTROp3 een hele gezellige locatie aan de Kaasmarkt 3. Natuurlijk hebben we gereserveerd en dat was nodig. Druk in de zaak en ook buiten op het terrasje. Tomatensoep voor ons moedertjes en de Meijer's kreeftensoep kiezen Martin en Dries. Stukje brood met kruidenboter erbij. En dan de etagère met broodjes en ons gekozen beleg. Het is leuk om te zien en wij vinden het alle vier smakelijk. Aardige bediening komt het Meijer gebakje als dessert brengen met vuurwerk voor jarige Dries en daar nemen we natuurlijk een koffietje bij.

Van de 5 personen had er 1 een miskleum zondagavond bij Bistro op 3. Spareribs waren zeer vet en sponsachtig. Geen lekker gegrild korstje er op. Geen smaak. Geen sausjes erbij en geen garnituur. Heel jammer!. De overigen hebben lekker gegeten. Wat een beetje jammer was is dat de eigenaresse niet even aan ons tafeltje kwam om er naar te vragen. Gelukkig niet in rekening gebracht. Heel jammer want we kwamen graag bij Bistro op 3 maar moet er nu over nadenken.....

We zijn op zaterdagavond 6 mei 2023 gaan genieten van een 4-gangen "shared dinner". Dit is een 'goed-lopend' restaurant, alle gerechtjes waren heerlijk en supervers. De bediening was heel vriendelijk, dit is een bistro om echt weer terug te komen.

1 keer gedineerd hier en dat was niet zo lekker. Het geserveerde eten was lauw en de crème brulee was het suikerlaagje niet gecaramelliseerd. We werden we prettig geholpen door de dames van de bediening. Maar voor het diner zal ik niet snel meer terugkomen. Ook een high tea hier gehad en dit viel wel erg in de smaak. Lekkere hapjes en weer een fijne service!

Je kunt heerlijk dineren bij BistrOp3. De service bediening is vriendelijk en denkt mee in mijn wensen. Ook voor diëten kunnen ze heerlijke maaltijden maken. Het is top geregeld in een prima sfeer.

Heerlijk gegeten in de oude waag van Medemblik.

Ik heb hier heerlijk gegeten. We hadden een shared diner via volgens mij RegioDeals. Je krijgt dan allemaal kleine gerechts. Super leuk, want je proeft van alles wat. Het restaurant is heel leuk en sfeervol ingericht. Mijn vrouw heeft weer allemaal ideeën opgedaan voor bij ons thuis. Het personeel is erg aardig en neemt de tijd. Ga hier zeker terugkomen om een keertje te lunchen of te dineren.

We hadden een verrassingsdiner van 4 gangen via Regiodeals gekocht. Het was echt een verrassing. Zo heerlijk gegeten. Ook de bediening was prima.

Omdat de kerstmarkt tegen viel en de restaurants die meededen aan de Dickens maaltijden allemaal vol waren hier naar binnen gegaan. Gelukkig was er hier wel plek. Zonder verwachtingen naar binnen gegaan. Een kleine kaart maar zeker genoeg verschillende keuzes..gekozen voor het drie gangen bistro menu. Huisgerookte zalm vooraf. Deze had iets meer smaak mogen hebben en combinatie met poffertjes was apart. Maar wel iets nieuws. Hoofdgerecht de halve kip en halve kreeft. Ook heerlijk. En als nagerecht een heerlijke stroopwafel nagerecht. De bediening was attent en liet je niet lang wachten en hielden ook in de gaten wanneer drinken op was. Sinds corona zie je dat bijna niet meer in een restaurant lijkt wel. Bediening was dus top. Zeker omdat het toch ook wel drukke avond was. Zeker een aanrader als je keertje ik Medemblik bent.

Sehr schönes Bistro/Restaurant mit einer kleinen, aber tollen Speisekarte mit leckeren,vegetarischen Gerichten. Liebevoll eingerichtet und auch das Essen war super angerichtet und schmeckte großartig!

Prachtig pand en supermooi interieur, heel vriendelijk en voldoende personeel, uitmuntend eten, uitstekende service.

Een topavond gehad met z’n vijven. Heerlijke oesters en sliptongetjes gegeten!! Mooie borden, goed voorverwarmd, en de sliptongetjes waren al ‘geknipt’, wat een service. Wijn was top begeleiding. Toetje coupe Romanoff ook zeer geslaagd. Verder zeer smaakvol ingericht en alles tot in de puntjes netjes verzorgd. De bediening was perfect. Wij komen zeker terug!!

Onwijs lekker gegeten. Goede bediening, slim en snel. Plus de spareribs waren volgens mijn tafelgenoten subliem, aanrader dus!

Heel goed je kunt apart frietjes en groente bestellen wat dat zit er niet automatisch bij. Ze hebben ook alcohol vrije wijn die prima smaakt
