Nachos for 1 person as a starter. Came with guacamole. That was enough for us to share as a starter, and tasted ok, but not so much tast🤷🏻‍♀️ The burger with mushroom sauce could also had tasted a little more, and had some more sauce or something on it, cause it was a little bit dry. But really liked the quality of the meat, bread and ruccula😃 Friendly staff☺️ Some noise from the open kitchen, but then again, we were sitting close to it (that it what I’m looking at in the picture)😄

Great restaurant and atmosphere. We had Italian style and nacho macho burgers, both were super delicious. They have many other food options such as fish and meat, soup, sandwiches, and nice looking desserts. Good selection of drinks as well 👍

We had a wonderful experience at Bistroclub De Stadsburger. From the moment we walked in, it felt welcoming. The service was friendly, attentive, and very helpful. I especially appreciated that we could neatly store the stroller out of sight, which gave us more space at the table. Excellent highchairs were available for our little one. They're not the standard, cheap Ikea chairs you often see, but sturdy and comfortable ones that clearly showed a lot of thought put into them. The food was truly high quality. I highly recommend the pulled chicken burger: perfectly prepared, flavorful, and generously topped. The dessert with white Tony Chocolonely was also delicious. The portions were generous—so generous, in fact, that for the first time in a long time, I couldn't finish it all, which is saying something, as I normally never leave anything untouched. What struck me was that everything was perfect: the atmosphere, the quality of the food, the hospitality, and the little details that make all the difference. Bistroclub De Stadsburger feels like a place you'd love to return to. In my opinion, this bistro is a real asset to Bergen op Zoom.

Disgraceful experience. We'd barely been served when they asked if we wanted the bill and could get up. Meanwhile, others after us were allowed to remain seated. The excuse? "So more people could come." Never before had I experienced such unfriendly customer service. How hungry can you be for sales? It's truly appalling.

Delicious sandwiches and smoothies. The tortilla meatballs are also highly recommended. The apple pie is also fresh and warm.

Sunday afternoon, nice shopping in Bergen op Zoom. A quick bite to eat with the kids and were advised to do that here. But… We just walked out of there stressed. Our service was fine, but the manager/owner(?) reacted rather irritated to our kids and then to us. Read other reviews on Google and read that the owner/manager is often a bit “angular”. So unfortunately not worth repeating for us, because the rest of the service was friendly and helpful. The food wasn’t fantastic: None of the kids ate their toasted sandwiches. Dad did.

De Stadsburger – from wow to well… De Stadsburger used to be our regular spot. Luc and I (sometimes with entourage, sometimes with hungry friends) liked to go there. Because let’s be honest: what’s better than a hearty, juicy, artisanal hamburger to end your day? Well… we now know the answer: the same burger, but like it used to be. Let me put it this way: the old burgers were of the “stop-me-or-I’ll-eat-two” caliber. Thick, homemade, juicy – ​​a kind of mini-vacation on a plate. But the last time… well. The meat had changed. Suddenly you were no longer biting into a burger, but into a memory. And one that you buy in bulk at Sligro. We only realized it halfway through our fries: this is not what it used to be. No longer that unique, characterful meat, but rather an industrial slice that you taste as standard at a neighborhood barbecue on your cousin's 27th birthday. Comfort food became ready-made. In short: De Stadsburger is still a great place to sit, but we miss the soul in the burger. The magic is a bit gone. Or as Luc said: "I used to eat a burger here. Now I eat a product." Come on, Stadsburger - give us back that good old love for beef.

Met collega’s een high cocktail/bier/wijn/mocktail gedaan. Ieder van het gezelschap kon kiezen wat hij wilde, dat is prettig voor mensen die niet drinken. Heerlijke mocktails en goede hapjes. Was voldoende als avondeten. Vriendelijk en snel personeel, hielden de tafel goed bij etc. Top avond gehad!

Mother's Day lunch at the bistro club de stadsburger was *perfect*! The food was delicious and the location is perfect. We sat outside where you could choose to sit in the sun or in the shade. Inside it is also a beautiful atmosphere with an open kitchen. You don't have to wait long for your food here! Even when it's a bit busier. The cocktails were also delicious!! And how nice that the mothers (for Mother's Day) got a delicious dessert from the house! 🥰

From my opinion is the best Bistroclub with the best burgers and atmosphere in Nord Brabant, especially when the Live Music is On. I Recommend you to experience this place in centrum of Bergen op Zoom!5*

Omdat mijn zoon een goede hamburger wilde eten, zijn we bij Bistroclub de Stadburger uitgekomen. Qua hamburgers is er keuze uit beef burger, kip burger, Gamba burgers of zelfs 3 Vega burger varianten. Alle burgers zijn zelf gemaakt. Mijn zoon en ik hebben beiden gekozen voor een Beef burger. Hij had de Stadsburger en ikzelf heb gekozen voor The Champ (een burger met rucola, gekarameliseerde ui, champignons en truffelmayo. De burgers zijn een echte aanrader. Ze zijn zo lekker dat we inmiddels twee keer hier zijn gaan eten. Voor wie geen hamburger wil zijn er voldoende alternatieven. Mijn vrouw had een zeldzaam goede stok KipSate, met atjar, een flinke portie friet en kroepoek. Genieten geblazen en omdat er volop keuze is hoef je niet steeds hetzelfde te kiezen als je terug komt.

Wij komen hier al jaren en voor een student is dit echt een ideaal plek om te eten zowel voor lunch als avond eten. Omdat het quality van eten en de prijs heel goed is. Echt een aanrader vooral voor studenten met minder geld

I ordered the spareribs and they were so good, the meat easily sliced off the bones and it was very tender. The portions are decent, the chips and salad were tasty as well. Staff is friendly, they made a mistake with one of our orders but they quickly brought the right plate. Prices are really good for the quality and size you get. This place is also nice and cosy from the inside. Definitely one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in Bergen op Zoom

Not so tasty. I left half my hamburger because it was a greasy mess, not tasty. That evening I had a bad stomach problem. My table companions also didn't like the food. Staff wasn't very nice either. I won't go here again.

Staff and owner show their true colors as soon as you ask for a small glass of tap water with your coffee. The owner even came to our table to make a fuss. “He could easily close the tent.” If people only came by for a glass of tap water… this was not the case. We came for lunch and the glass of water was for the cappuccino. And then: how have they made themselves known? As a statement, a glass with a very small layer of water was brought. We paid for our drinks and did not stay for lunch. I left the drop of water behind, because I absolutely do not want to be responsible for possible bankruptcy by showing a little hospitality!

Erg leuk ingericht en heerlijk eten. Ik vond zelf dat de akoestiek niet zo goed was, erg lawaaierig en redelijk harde muziek. Maar verder erg leuk zitten en heel vriendelijk personeel. De kaart heeft heel veel keus en het was moeilijk kiezen, ik kom zeker nog een keer terug om iets anders te proeven.

Hoewel de steak en de ossehaaspuntjes lonkten, konden we het toch niet laten om de eerste keer dat we hier aten, voor de burgers te gaan. Het heet tenslotte niet voor niets zo. Dat viel niet tegen! Goed genoten van de burgers, frietjes en groenten. En samen met de biertjes viel de prijs heel erg mee! Hier gaan we zeker terugkomen (al was het alleen al om te testen of de steak net zo geweldig is 😁. Aanrader, 100%!

We zijn met een grote groep collega’s gaan eten op donderdagmiddag. Zo net voor de kerst hadden meer groepen dat idee dus het was volle bak bij de Stadsburger. Het eten en ook de verzorging was weer ouderwets goed! Mooi om te zien met hoeveel plezier er zo hard gewerkt wordt.

In de ochtend konden wij nog net een tafeltje in een knus hoekje reserveren voor de avond en wat was het een feestje om daar in de avond te dineren. Heel vriendelijk en leuk personeel die aandacht voor je hadden en ook het eten was voortreffelijk. Mijn man en ik hebben een hele fijne avond daar gehad en als hoogtepunt zagen wij Andre van Duin met Janny v.d. Heijden met Naan die daar ook kwamen eten. Ik ga deze zaak zeker bij andere aanbevelen en als ik in de buurt ben kom ik zeker nog aan om te eten. Lieve personeel, iedereen heel erg bedankt voor een onvergetelijke avond. We hadden een teamuitje en hadden een High Wine / Cocktail / Mocktail avondje. Voor iedereen dus wat wils en dat was ook totaal geen probleem. Het eten, de drankjes en niet te vergeten de bediening waren allemaal super!! We hebben een topavondje gehad!! En komen zekers terug!!!

October 31, delicious lunch, baked mussels sandwich, it was delicious, I took part in the competition and to my surprise I was called a day later that I had won a dinner voucher of 100 euros. November 7, I went to eat with my grandchildren and the food was great again, delicious hambrger, the Greek adonis and the fries with truffle mayonnaise are definitely recommended, it was a very successful evening

De l'extérieur on ne se rend pas compte de la grandeur de l'établissement ,ni de la déco. Endroit est très sympathique peut-être un peu bruyant vu le monde. Il y a un piano peut-être de temps en temps une animation musicale ? On y est allé pour le burger nous n'avons pas été déçus, beaucoup de choix avec la qualité et la quantité ! Autour de 14/15€ le burger auquel il faut rajouter les frites 3,75 ou la salade 4.5 ou les frites de patate douce 3.95. Le service est rapide et agréable.

Wat hebben wij genoten van onze high wine. Het overtrof werkelijk waar alle verwachtingen. Het eten was voortreffelijk, maar ook de sfeer, de open keuken en uiteraard de verassing voor mijn verjaardag. Dit is zoals het hoort te zijn, bediening met een hart voor de zaak. Although we were not able to enjoy piano playing, we had a very good experience at the Stadsburger. Smooth service, well-prepared dishes, especially dessert, and there is a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. After being hit by a downpour, we were really ready for this. It was our first visit to this restaurant but the tipster was absolutely right and we would love to come back again.

A great place for a quick bite. We had made a reservation in advance and were led upstairs, next to a table with 3 small toddlers and we really didn't need that (we have 5 children ourselves, so no, we are not child haters, sometimes you just want some peace and quiet) After asking many questions, we were given a quiet table downstairs. The decor here is quite industrial, not really romantic or cozy. The service was very smooth and nice. In at 6.15 pm and out again at 7 pm (we only had a main course). Both had a hamburger with blue cheese sauce and pear. It tastes good, but not really special. The sweet potato fries are not included, but must be ordered separately, just like salad or vegetables.

Een telefonische reservering bleek het begin van een prima avondje uit eten. De menukaart is uitgebreid en, naar nederlandse maatstaven, redelijk geprijsd. De bediening is plezierig en snel en lijkt goed ingespeeld op elkaar. De porties zijn royaal en kwalitatief goed. We werden zelfs op een bordje welkom geheten na onze telefonische reservering. I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the experience we had today during our high cocktail for eight people. We had made a reservation for 6:30 PM, but according to the lady who helped us, it was stated as 6:00 PM, which meant we were already late upon arrival. The first drink and snack was served at 6:45 PM. Furthermore, everything was served at a very fast pace, so we barely had time to enjoy our drinks. Around 9:45 PM we were asked if we wanted something to drink before the last round because they were closing. When we indicated that the place was open until 11:00 PM, we were told in a very arrogant tone that they would not serve us until closing time, and that she asked if we wanted something to drink?! because they wouldn't stay open for one table. The attitude and behavior of the waitress were absolutely not acceptable. Her attitude and the way she spoke to us were very unpleasant. This has quite negatively affected the entire experience. An argument ensued, after which the door was unfriendly closed for us with the request to leave. While our glasses were still full. I hope you take this feedback seriously and take the necessary steps to ensure situations like this are avoided in the future. We had high expectations of our visit, but unfortunately these were not met. And this is also the last time we come here.
