The price-performance ratio isn't right at all. The food quality isn't that great, and the quantity isn't enough. Ordered two schnitzels with fries and salad, and they gave me a small wedge of fries that I'm supposed to share between the two of you 😁 The salad was the same. I can't recommend it, even with the best will in the world. I could have thrown the €60 I paid in the trash.

Delicious food! The tenderloin was perfectly fried and juicy, served with crispy green beans – a revelation. The fish was fresh, perfectly fried, and the ribs were simply delicious. The beer was very cold 👍 Plus, it has a wonderful location right on the beach and the staff is incredibly friendly and always smiling. Definitely worth coming back! 🌊🍽️✨

Always in the area, once or twice a year we go shopping from Belgium. We have lunch at De Blauwe Gans. The food is delicious. Beautifully presented, and the staff is very friendly. We ordered the monthly menu this time, and the price, quality, and quantity were better than expected. We will definitely be back. PS. And worth a detour for lunch. The pork tenderloin was beautifully presented and delicious.

A good restaurant next to the beach and the Ferris wheel. They have a very high-quality menu. We had a very generous starter with carpaccio and breaded shrimp, and a very well-cooked and beautifully presented main course with sea bass and vegetables. For dessert, we had crème brûlée with fruit and ice cream for €32. The menu was also varied. Very good service. Parking is available on the street.

De gierige blauwe gans... ...is the right place if you want your food at a slightly lower price and are willing to make some compromises. For example, if you order two portions of kibbeling with fries and a side salad, don't be surprised if the tiny bowl of salad and the small bowl of fries are explained to you—upon request—as a "large portion for two." After all, eating together from the same salad bowl has never hurt a relationship; perhaps that's the underlying concept of couples therapy? It's also the hotel restaurant of the Prominent Inn Hotel. Hotel guests may be treated better. That would explain the positive reviews.

Delicious food, very friendly service, and our dog wasn't a problem either. We'd love to come back.

We ordered two main courses. According to the menu, each main course comes with a side dish. We had spare ribs and schnitzel with peppercorn sauce. When the food arrived, we were surprised to see that there were only two mini bowls for the side dish: one of fries and one of salad. When we asked, we were told that the sides were for both of us. They were really small bowls (about the size of a coffee cup), and while fries are easy to share, sharing a salad with a dollop of dressing and a piece of tomato on top is impossible. The schnitzel was also missing peppercorn sauce, and there was neither an apology nor a small compensation. However, the bill was the full amount. Since their prices are rather high, we won't be back anytime soon, unfortunately.

Great place to stop. We sat outside and enjoyed coffees. Clean bathrooms and great friendly service.

I'd say you probably have to be a local to get decent portions. We were served a tiny bowl of fries and a tiny bowl of side salad (soaked) and were told they were each a separate large portion for two people. A man at the next table had the same thing for himself. It wasn't particularly nice or tasty. Not again...

The food is of high quality and characterized by fresh ingredients and sophisticated flavors. We had to share the portion of fries and salad at the kibbeling, but it was enough for both of us. The extra bread we ordered arrived quickly.

The Blaue Gans is a traditional restaurant. The fish is highly recommended ❗️. Overall, the food is tasty. Dessert is always a large portion ☺️. The service was very friendly.

Went for a quick walk on the beach and after getting some fresh air there turned out to be no spot left at Nomad. Back along the boulevard, we had lunch at the Blue Goose. To be honest, I always walk past because everyone inside is gray...and I don't feel at home there yet! Haha. Inside it actually looks quite modern. Wicker chairs, steel racks with plants, etc. Quite nice, but I choose a table at the back, where it has not yet been modernized, but with "normal" chairs, which seem to me to be more comfortable. The first beer came quickly and the choice was a salmon sandwich with poached egg. That egg in particular caught my attention, where can you find that? A few sips of beer later I find myself counting; 18 restaurant goers over 75, 7 over 50 and 4 under. How is that possible? Like seeks like, well I actually do that too. But yes...the prejudice is actually correct. But my sandwich came quickly and I forgot my math again. And that sandwich was really tasty. Really good with a perfectly poached egg. Also richly topped with salmon. More than fine. During the second beer I hear that the next table is about cholesterol pills. I'll pay, maybe I should also have my cholesterol checked...I'll be back.

Schnitzel with pepper sauce was offered as a special, the only special thing was that for 2 people there was only one fries each (they were baked way too long, fried whatever) and one salad (very manageable with dressing to look for) but we had the fingers for that the waitress in the bowls, hmmmm delicious, not. The schnitzel had seen better days, dry as a fart. Not to mention the sauce, peppery taste is non-existent and all for just under 20 euros. Therefore a visit is not recommended

I'm a fan and have been for at least 20 years.

The restaurant is attractive and offers a small menu. The food is of good quality and the staff is friendly. Unfortunately the menu is only available in Dutch. The only criticism is that dogs barking could be heard during the meal. This was very disturbing at times. Because you are also scared. The restaurant can still be recommended.

Sehr gutes Essen ( Beef Burger). Ambiente war modern und hell eingerichtet mit einem Blick direkt auf die Düne. Die Bedienung war zwar ganz lieb aber alles andere als aufmerksam., obwohl der Laden nicht voll war. Die Kellner tummelten sich alle in einer Ecke rum und man brauchte Ewigkeiten, bis mal jemand für Nachbestellungen oder zur Bezahlung kam.

We weren't satisfied at all. We both ordered schnitzel with pepper sauce and received fries and salad as a side dish. We had to share fries and salad and also the mayonnaise from a bowl each!!!! We raised this and were told that this is correct. Guys, it's still okay. I've never experienced anything like this before. For €19.95 I expect my own salad or chips and mayonnaise. The pepper sauce had no taste, sorry, what you offered was outrageous.

Very tasty burger. Great location behind the dune with a view of the sunset. The service could be a little more attentive. But all in all a good restaurant.

The charm of the 70s sends greetings. I based myself on the previous reviewers. You can eat here but I recommend the daily menu. They weren't really helpful. There were 8 of us. Ordered the most expensive file (€26.80). Extra fries, extra salad. Shouldn't have been 180g, it didn't really arrive on the plate. Pepper sauce was so hot that you couldn't taste the meat anymore. Water glasses were probably brought to the table from the dishwasher, they were so warm. Wine could be better tempered. Beer was ok. Water cold. French fries salad a bit small portions. Sauces probably from a tube. I would recommend the daily menu, all my friends have rated it as good.

Food was fine. Fries were cold, this was reported to the waiter, but no action was taken about this. About 10 minutes later new fries arrived. The rest of the food was already gone, too bad. Kibbeling very tasty and location also great. The latte macchiato is really not tasty.

We had dinner here tonight and were really disappointed. What a faded glory this restaurant is. Although the soles were really good, the rest of the food was far below par. Super small bowl of fries and equally small bowl of salad for the two of us. Requested some more fries and salad... unfortunately we didn't get it, but it was on the bill. What a ball tent.

Food was good and servise as well. Young waitress who spoke very well English. Its a cosy place with nice view to the dunes/beach. Wasn't busy when we were there and we felt nicely looked after.

Salmon served without toast with additional fees of 5€ for bread ! A true scandal....very poor service and unfriendly waitress ....bad experience . We will never go back there!

Ik geef 1 ster. Waarom? Er was duidelijk te weinig personeel in de zaak. Een aardige serveerster die stinkend haar best deed gaf ik mijn klachten door na afloop en zei: ik zal het doorgeven. Ik werk normaal in de strandtent maar help hier nu vanwege personeels problemen. Ik kom al vele jaren met de RedHat in de Blauwe Gans. Wat mij opviel: een nieuwe beperktere kaart dan ik gewend was. De prijzen zijn flink omhoog gegaan. Ik bestelde het duurste van de kaart en toen iedereen eten op tafel had kreeg ik te horen: sorry, saus komt er zo aan, er was pepersaus gemaakt in plaats van mijn bestelde gorgonzola saus. Daar heb ik niet zo'n moeite mee: waar werken worden fouten gemaakt. Waar had ik wel moeite mee? Mijn vlees was afgekoeld en niet meer lekker heet. Op mijn bord lag om precies te zijn: 3 groene asperges en een stukje vlees. Verder totaal kaal bord. Ik ga zeer vaak uit eten met mijn man maar dit nog zelden gezien. Kan er niet iets meer groenten bij en kan bord niet iets meer opgeleukt worden? Voor twee personen zat een mini hapje sla in een heel klein bakje, stelde niet veel voor. En echt goed betaald voor mijn gerecht! Ik heb het gevoel dat de gorgonzola saus uit een pakje kwam, totaal niet vers klaargemaakt. Na afloop met mijn vriendinnen eindeloos gewacht tot de serveerster kwam vragen: wil je nog een toetje of kopje koffie? Ze kwam helemaal niet, druk aan het bedienen van haar klanten in de zaak. De serveerster deed stinkend haar best maar belachelijk weinig personeel, ze kon het echt niet aan. Conclusie: de ene na de andere vriendin stond op en zei: ik ga naar huis, ga thuis wel mijn kopje koffie drinken. Ik wil betalen en heb en aan de serveerster en aan de dame die in de keuken stond mijn klacht ingediend. Beiden zeiden: ik zal het doorgeven. Wat had ik bij betalen verwacht: enig begrip voor mijn verhaal, dat ik financieel wat gecompenseerd zou worden voor mijn terechte klacht, nee hoor: niets! Lauw vlees eten is écht niet lekker! Dat er na zeker een half uur wachten totaal niemand ons een toetje of koffie aanbood terwijl de tafel al lang was opgeruimd. Brrrrrr! Daarom 1 ster gegeven!

Were there again to eat ribs. I can really recommend the food there. So far we haven't been disappointed when we've been to Noordwijk.

The food tasted okay and deserved more stars. But we had 2 dishes each with fries and salad. There was only a small bowl for each meal, and the salad and fries were only enough for one person. In my opinion, the customer is being ripped off here.

Restaurant on the Noord Boulevard in Noordwijk. Were here for lunch. Smooth operation. Menu with lots of choice. Paid parking in front of the door. Can be busy in the summer months.

Kibbeling with fries for 18.5€ is sporty.. plus the ingredients weren't anything special, no special fries or anything else.. but other dishes looked okay..

Very spacious, elegant style, nature theme environment with plants, wooden chairs, nice decorations around. Very relaxed, beachy atmosphere nice lights. Friendly, chatty, open minded people here. I could imagine business meetings here, conferences, banquets due to its classic formal style from my point of view but also any other social events such as dates, friendly chat, birthday party or any celebration.

Einmal und nie wieder,erstmal war es nicht sehr voll und trotzdem war die Bedienung nicht gerade aufmerksam ,haben zuerst eine Vorspeise bestellt, auf das Hauptgericht dann noch eine Stunde gewartet ,mein Mann hat ein Schnitzel bestellt, dieses kam leider aus der Friteuse und wurde lediglich mit Pommes serviert ,die absolute Frechheit waren meine Kibbeling die nur mit Remoulade und ohne jegliche Beilage serviert wurden und das für 18,50€,das waren die teuersten Kibbeling die ich je gegessen habe.

Very disappointing 2 for 1 menu. Starter was acceptable, steak main was completely overcooked, very average cheese to follow. I have since had a Flammkukken lunch there. This was pleasant enough however not the genuine article. It had a puff pastry base! A pity, we live here and had previously enjoyed eating here. This is no longer the case

The food is just great!! The service is friendly and sometimes has fun. Menu in Dutch only. If you want to change a menu (side dishes/sauce) it's no problem and costs no extra charge. Guests of the Hotel Prominet Inn receive 10% off their meals

We ordered 2×Kibbeling (18€ each), which included a salad, or rather greens, with tartar sauce and fries, unfortunately a bit too little in my opinion. I would have imagined the kibbeling to be a little crispier but they were definitely tasty. Unfortunately, the menu is not in English or German, which makes it a little difficult to choose. By chance it turned out that the waitress understood a little German. This made it a bit more pleasant overall.

Die besten Muscheln, die ich je hatte!

We hebben hier een heerlijke lunch gehad. We hadden het 12- uurtje vis en 12- uurtje vlees besteld. Een aanrader. Ruime hoeveelheid. Er werd regelmatig gevraagd of alles naar wens was. Omdat we hier ons prettig voelden besloten we ook om hier te dineren. Geen spijt van. We hebben heerlijk gegeten en gedronken. De koffie is uitstekend. De wijnen heerlijk. Goede prijs- kwaliteit. Buiten wiebelige tafeltjes. Kussens mogen wat frisser. Binnen in het restaurant mag ook eea opgeknapt en schoon gemaakt worden. De planten mogen ook wel beter onderhouden worden. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk.

Ich hatte Spargel mit Lachs aus dem Wok mit Sojasprossen, etwas chinesisch angehaucht. Dazu Reis. Ich war überrascht. Denn irgendwie hatte ich vorher nur Lachs mit Spargel auf der Tafel gelesen. Und dachte, so wie gewohnt mit Kartoffeln und Sauce Hollandaise. Wie gesagt, bin sehr positiv überrascht worden. Es war für meinen Geschmack sensationell lecker! Auch meinem Mann schmeckten die Rippchen superlecker, auch die Sauce dazu.

Wir haben im September 22 hier zu dritt gegessen. Wir hatten hohe Erwartungen aufgrund der vielen positiven Rezensionen können diese aber garnicht nachvollziehen. Zunächst waren Spare-Ribs ausverkauft obwohl die Küche erst 2 Stunden geöffnet hatte und das Gericht als Special beworben wurde. Das Kalbs Entrecôte war für die Menge viel zu teuer. Für 25€ hat man 4 Spargel und ein Stück Fleisch bekommen das mit einer sehr dünnen Schicht Kräutern bestrichen war, anstelle deren ich eine Sauce, wie auf der Karte beschrieben, erwartet hätte. Eine Beilage war weder vorhanden noch wurde uns eine empfohlen. Nach dem Essen hätte ich problemlos noch in ein anderes Restaurant gehen können und eine Hauptspeise essen können. Für den gleichen Preis bekommt man im Open Doors eine komplette Fleischplatte inklusive Burger. Das Steak war geschmacklich in Ordnung aber nichts besonderes. Außerdem wurde das Steak Medium bestellt, kam jedoch sehr blutig. Das zugehörige Kartoffelpüree und die Karotten waren ebenfalls eher durchschnittlich. Insgesamt entsprach auch dieses Gericht nicht dem Preis. Wir waren wirklich sehr enttäuscht und würden das Restaurant nicht weiterempfehlen.

Ristorante adiacente hotel prominent ill, vicino al mare ma che non si vede poiche dietro una duna Andati per cena visto che alloggiavamo all hotel.. Non ci siamo trovati benissimo.... Menu solo in olandese, nemmeno in inglese, sembrava quasi i turisti stranieri non fossero benvenuti Nel menù non c erano i piatti "forti" che erano segnati in una lavagnetta poco visibile e solo in olandese quindi se non avessimo chiesto avremmo scelto dal menù cartaceo consegnato che riporta a piatti poco interessanti Dalla lavagnetta abbiamo preso fish and chips e costolette (vedi foto) Chips non olandesi ma piuttosto quelle che siamo abituati a mangiare in Italia.. Fish standard. Costolette non erano male accompagnate da una insalata mista molto mista :-) compreso di pasta al pomodoro... Abbiamo chiesto birra e coca e dopo aver aspettato buoni 20 minuti.. È arrivata una pepsi.. Servizio così così
