Terrible service – we had to wait ages every single time for the waitstaff, whether it was to order food, pay the bill, or anything else. Used dishes from the previous guests were not cleared from the table and were, bizarrely, even added to our bill when we wanted to pay for our food. The servers were all teenagers, apparently working a holiday job, who spent most of their time fooling around behind the bar instead of doing their actual work. I wouldn’t even mind that if they at least took their job seriously and treated guests with a minimum of respect. The food was mediocre for the price. Yes, it’s the Netherlands and things are generally more expensive, but even so, the price was far too high for the quality. I definitely wouldn’t go back, even though the beachside atmosphere was nice.

Great beach bar, limited menu. Just good for a quick bite or drink. There is an unfriendly lady in the service who is curt and really not a calling card for the business. Other staff will answer your questions promptly.

Ordered 16 pieces of appetizers yesterday, we received 4 pieces of cervelate sausage. This was indicated to the relevant employee. He says: "We always do it that way"! Dear, below is the definition of a bitter garnish!! Use it to your advantage. 1 euro for a fried snack is enough money, you don't want cervelate blocks instead! "Bittergarnituur or borrelgarnituur is a Dutch snack consisting of a combination of fried meat".

Very pricey, mediocre service but nice atmosphere!

Ordered appetizers, 16 pieces for €16. Insane price. Was 4x salami included, but apparently this is part of it? Employee said; this is how we always serve it. In other words, suck it up!

Staff quite disinterested and passive. Food was really mediocre, even the fries weren't very tasty. Vegan burger very ordinary, dry burger on a not fresh bun without any garnish or a tasty sauce or anything. I can make this myself at home, for a lot less than 17 euros. I expect a little more than this from people who call themselves chefs, this is really below the minimum.

First waited half an hour on the terrace for service. Then only paid 10 hours for a glass of wine in plastic and a bottle of beer.

It was okay, everything was quick and easy

My girlfriend had two glasses of prosecco. After coming home we saw on the bill that they had charged a whole bottle and a glass. Of course I should have checked immediately, but you assume that things are correct and that you won't get scammed like that, very disappointing

The location is great. However, the service is very poor. My sandwich came 25 min later after my friends finished their lunch. Asked twice what the status was, no feedback. No excuse, no explanation, and nothing adjusted to the bill. Very unfortunate. Won't be back anytime soon either.

Great atmosphere right by the sea. We had to get up from the first table after ordering, as local guests were obviously preferred and the parasol was not opened in the bright sunshine. The staff moved us to a table that had not yet been cleared and was also dirty with sand and leftover food. The dishes were taken away and the waitress pushed the rest onto the floor with her hands. The coffee was delicious, but since the coffee spilled over on the way to the table, the cookies and sugar were already floating. Fries are just fries, a napkin with them would have been great. It was cleared away without saying a word and payment was made inside. It's actually a shame and such a great place.

Value for money, enough space on the terrace and nice service. Great restaurant to eat something simple and tasty.

Nice meal! The staff are 2 older men who are not very smooth, but very friendly. The cook was super enthusiastic and quick. Toilets are outside. It all looks simple, but I had a much better meal than at the hip, more expensive places in the area.

Refused to take a seat on the terrace with the bicycle while the entire terrace is empty and only 8 degrees, no one on the beach. Guest-friendly and customer-oriented is different.

Well, great tent. Not too expensive and excellent food. Sandwiches were tasty and still sufficiently available despite the end of the season. Rented beds and parasol on the beach. Quite a bit pricey (35 euros), but hey, ice cream, drink and toilet nearby. Tip: just stay normal, there are plenty of fancy tents! See you next year!

We had dinner as a couple. she got classic Dutch salad with goat cheese I Spare ribs overcooked and dry. location on the sea with a beautiful sunset. Staff not expert, but friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately this season the owner is extremely rude. A pity. Addendum: unfortunately the owner has not only been rude but also completely inflexible over the last few seasons. Although we come every year with 20 people (our family) and never spend less than 1,000 euros per evening. Apparently he doesn't need it. Good for him. Bad for the guests. Or he doesn't like Germans?

On our way to the Keukenhof Gardens, we decided to take a detour to see the coast - what a stunning beach! Stopped off at this café/restaurant on the sands for a coffee and it was lovely to look out to sea as we sat on the open terrace. Friendly staff and a great spot.

Super locatie. Iets minder chique strandtent, maar ook betere prijs/kwaliteit verhouding dan andere strandtenten. Simpel aangekleed maar toch goed eten zonder poespas.

We hebben hier heerlijk op het terras gegeten. Lekker en niet al te duur. Uitstekende bediening. Met een speeltuintje.

Einfache Strandbar. Guter Service. Über das Essen kann ich nichts sagen.

Leuke strandtent in Noordwijk. Eten lekker, service top en sfeer relaxed. Geen "kijk mij eens zitten" tent maar gewoon gezellig. Helaas vonden de meeuwen het ook erg gezellig maar daar hebben al dit soort bedrijven wel last van op het terras.

Super lecker, super netter Service und schönes Ambiente, direkt am Strand und windgeschützt. Dürfte noch etwas mehr dekoriert sein.

Leuke ongedwongen strandtent. Zonder al die ‘hippe’ poespas zoals in de rij staan voor misschien een tafeltje bij de buren. Goede broodjes tonijn en krab. Lekker flesje chardonnay! Prachtige locatie.

Schönes Örtchen an der Nordsee. Es gibt kleine Lädchen zum Einkaufen und lecker Restaurants zum Essen. Der Beach Club am Strand ist etwas teuer. Bier 0,5 kostet 8 Euro.

Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, leckere Thaisalate in kleiner aber feiner Auswahl! Sehr freundliches Personal! Kinder haben hier einen ganzen Spielplatz vor der Tür und alles in wunderbarer Lage ,direkt am Strand. Komme gerne wieder!!

Heerlijk na een werkdag gewoon op de fiets eten op het strand

Wat is dit toch een heerlijk plekje! Ik kom hier al jaren, in die tijd is de Zeester veel veranderd. Met de tijd meegegaan zonder het karakteristieke ervan te verliezen. Het is nog steeds een paviljoen voor iedereen. De vriendelijkheid en openheid spontaniteit zijn door alle jaren ook behouden. Ik heb er ook lekker kunnen eten, de Zeester salade zat vol met vissoorten. Heerlijk.

Wir können nur Positives berichten. Ein sehr schön eingerichteter Beachclub, stylisches Ambiente im Außenbereich. Drinnen waren wir nicht, haben aber Mal reingeschaut.sieht auch super aus! Der Thai Salat ist so ziemlich der leckerste Salat, den ich je gegessen habe. Das Kids Menü ist nichts Besonderes, aber perfekt für das Kind. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Simpele strandtent naar Noordwijkse begrippen. Dat kan op zich geen kwaad tussen verder meestal hippe en ingewikkelde tenten in de buurt. Hier gewoon spareribs, burgers, saté ed. Prima na een dagje strand. Het eten was alleen vrij matig. Jammer

Goed eten, lunch en diner. En prijsgunstig. Bediening gaat soms mis, maar is verder prima. Verhuur van bedjes kan alleen met windscherm, 30,-€ totaal/dag. Wij wilde alleen 2 bedjes. Dat ging niet.

Leuke plek, met over het algemeen zeker vriendelijk personeel. De "Bourgondische kroket" staat op de kaart leuk, maar vond ik minder succesvol in de mond. Een kroket moet ‘krak’ zeggen als je er in bijt. En de binnenkant moet gevuld zijn met een smeuïge ragout. Hier was de paneerlaag van een goedkopere soort en de ragout veel te stevig. Geeft niet, maar als je het een Bourgondische kroket noemt met dito prijskaartje, dan zet je i.i.g.mijn verwachting hoog.

Décoration originale. Cadre extérieur magnifique. Restauration snack permettant de se restaurer sur le pouce à toutes heures.

De Zeester is a nice old school beach club like they used to before the times of “Lunch and Lounge” in the more upscale facilities. They also serve great Dutch style pub grub for dinner, such as Sateh with fries, Schnitzel etc. All very pleasant and very friendly service as well.

Locatie is goed. Maar er zit geen passie in. De inrichting is het net niet. Er is een poging gedaan. Tijd voor een makeover. Buiten kan je niet goed door de schermen kijken. Lijkt een soort melkglas. En dat is toch jammer als je dit uitzicht hebt. Het eten is niet duur. Maar ook daar kan meer passie in. Het is geen hoogstandje. Personeel is aardig.
