Had lovely oysters during the oyster happy hour - 2.50€ each. Very decently sized (pretty big) and locally sourced. The place is very clean and tidy, and the staff are friendly.

Love this place. Great, fresh fish. Served simply, allowing the ingredients to do the talking. Sit on the terrace, order Mackerel pate (rillete??) and a beer - 15 euros with a deserved tip. Can’t go wrong. Big love for what you’re doing.

Best oysters I’ve ever had. Fresh, tasted like the sea. Garlic shrimp were delicious as well. Nice vibe, friendly proprietor. Amazing experience

Terrible experience here today. Last time we were here the food was ok, we like the atmostphere and its location is really good. We had high expectations because we had a good experience at Goesting, which has the same owner as this one. This time the drinks and bites were quickly brought out, but we (3 people) had to wait OVER 1 HOUR for the fish and chips and pasta al vongole. And they aren't even that good. The fish and chips is way too oily and there were so much freaking SAND in the pasta. They also never brought out one of the dish we ordered, although it did came up in the bill they gave us! In the end we said no bother because we could not wait any longer. Paid almost 100 euros for 3 people and all of us were still hungry when leaving. Will never come back again.

The food tasted good. It's a bit true to the name. The dishes weren't what we expected to get, but they were fine. The food to a considerable amount of time though.

We only sat down to have a beer (craft and very good) and an American cheesecake made by them, excellent!! Inside it is very nice and well-kept and the staff are friendly. I recommend it

Heel erg leuk restaurantje in binnenstad van Utrecht met lekkere gerechten en nog heerlijke plaat op met visgerecht mmmm

We were excited to find a place with actual Dutch food. The seafood definitely tasted fresh and the service was great. I've never had shrimp bisque soup, a mussel hamburger, or a kelp chocolate cake with spirulina (all very good). It was annoying that the table less than a foot away from us were smoking most of the night, but then we realized we chose to sit outside and yeah, we're in Europe.

Dikke prima. Alles komt snel, leuke setting. Het eten is goed en vers. Je krijg precies wat je verwacht. Er zijn, voor mij, geen verassende sparkelende gerechten. Maar dat geeft soms niet.

It's such a cute place for having tasty food. The stuff is very kind and courteous. It's a cool location. I can recommend it absolutely. They have an oyster happy hour,perfect.

Great little place just off the street by the canal. Sat at the back at a high top where it was pretty crowded, but the staff was friendly and pleasant, food was great and delivered quickly.

La camarera es excepcionalmente agradable y todo está buenísimo. Pata cangrejo, gambas, sandwich utrecht, queso…..

Super goede service, met aandacht voor de gasten. Krab, makreel en sint jacobsschelp waren erg vers en van goede kwaliteit. Heerlijk plekje om tijdens lunch of borrel mensen te kijken. Uitstekende prijs/kwaliteitverhouding.

Gutes Fischlocal, frisch Produkte. Geschmacklich okay. Mehrere Weine stehen zur Auswahl. Netter Service. Preisleistungsverhältnis war gut.

If I can give them 100 stars, I will. Exceptional experience ( from the friendly greeting at the door to free water to the best cheesecake). The staff very very friendly, the food was delicious and their exceptionally nice coffee.

Geweldige avond gehad en super geholpen door Kate en Amy. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is top! Toen we ’s avonds langs liepen, dachten we dat het niet lang meer open zou zijn ivm het licht en de rust/stilte in de zaak. Niets is minder waar en een zeer geslaagde avond gehad, aanrader!

Wat een leuk tentje! Heel erg vriendelijk personeel en de sfeer is er erg goed. De gastvrouw is ook echt fantastisch! 😊

Dit restaurant heeft potentie maar moeten wel een paar punten verbeteren. Ik geef 4 sterren maar eigenlijk is 3,5 beter. De sfeer en winkel ambiance is zeker 5 waard want dat is erg gezellig. Het personeel mag meer adequate kennis uiten wanneer je iets besteld. Bijvoorbeeld: brood vooraf bestellen a €5 terwijl er bij de soep ook twee grote sneden brood zitten. In zo’n geval zou ik dan het bestelde brood afraden. En bijvoorbeeld iets anders adviseren. De Dashi soep was een bouillon en één order was vergeten maar wel in 2 minuten ook klaar. Hoe dat zo snel ineens warm is terwijl die vergeten was is me een raadsel? Hopelijk geen magnetron. Dan ga je allebei apart beginnen met eten. Neem dan de enkele soep mee en warm alles tegelijk op en serveer opnieuw uit. Soep an sich was lekker maar noem het een bouillon. Het pasta hoofdgerecht is qua portie goed maar mist groente. Precies wat op het menu staat. Veel pasta, de schelpen maar voor een pasta gerecht mag er ook groente bij zitten. Het advies over de grootte van de porties kan beter. De pasta is samen met de soep prima in volume. De Catch of the Day: de wijting was karig. Qua smaak heerlijk maar qua grootte zeker geen hoofdgerecht van 17,50 zoals werd geadviseerd. De vis dreef op een bodem van pompoen (koud overigens) wat al met al dan de eet beleving niet ten goede komt van smaakvolle warme vis. Een hoofdgerecht is naar mijn verwachting warm. En dan iig dat de onderdelen die elkaar aanraken warm zijn. Iets van een aardappel erbij zou het completer maken als het volume dan minder is. Zeker wanneer je het naast een pasta neerzet is het geen vergelijking om het een main dish te noemen. Toetjes zijn geniaal. Voor een Economy bar is het verre van Economy. Met z’n twee zo’n €78,- kwijt is geen Economy. Dat was 39E de man voor bouillon die vergeten was. Teveel brood dat anders geadviseerd had kunnen worden, pasta zonder groenten, karige visvangst op koude pompoen maar dan wel een lekker toetje. Een biertje pp en een kopje koffie. De smaken zijn top. Maar voor alleen smaken ga je niet naar een Economy foodbar. Tip aan Blue Bar: zeker de porties onder de loupe nemen. Wijting van de kaart of aanpassen. En personeel goed advies laten geven.

The food is really tasty, especially the Shellfish bisque. The dishes are really rich in flavour yet not too heavily seasoned. The service is good also. Highly recommend!

Delightful spot near the old canal has just what you need for a good meal and/or drink and nothing that you don't need. Tender seafood, lovingly harvested and prepared, hand-cut perfectly fried potato wedges.

Leuke tent met lekker eten! Ook zeer aardig en vrolijk personeel. Meubilair stijl zou ik veranderen (minder plastic), en ik zou vochtige citroendoekjes op prijs stellen na een visgerecht.

Great service and delicious food. I‘m allergic to 70% of the food in the world, and Holly made sure I get enough to eat. She even took her time to sit down with me and talk me through the options. Kate and Jörn have made us feel comfy and welcome and had been extremely friendly and charming throughout the whole evening. Drinks were delicious and not weak. Interior Design reminds me of a IKEA Playground, but for adults. (I like it) Clever use of space. Everything was clean and the lighting and background music spot on. Not cheap, bit also not overpriced for the quality and service.
