Studentencafé Cambridgebar in Wijk 05 Oost

I’m an international student from the US. I was instructed to leave after hitting my vape once. I was told that there was a sign at the front saying no smoking , but it’s not in English. When I told the person that it’s not in a language I can read, the one kicking me out said “that’s a you problem.” Very saddened by this, and hoping the person in charge gets a talking to, only because this is international student week at YOUr university, and the international students (me) are being treated like they are university students.

Your typical university bar. Small, cozy, cheap bear and some food options. Recommended to get some fun moments and drinks with your friends.

We've been coming here regularly on Mondays after our theater rehearsal for years. We're especially fond of the Cranberry Kiss!

Great place, unprecedented prices for delicious alcoholic drinks. Unfortunately not much to eat, but the bags of chips go well.

The Studentencafe Cambridgebar is a great bar for cheat beers and a meetup with friends. The staff is super friendly and the location is ideal for students that live on campus. My only flaw is the limited space, which might make it hard to find free spots, when arriving in bigger groups. Other than that 5/5!

Nice drinks, nice atmosphere, nice place

Run by and for people living at the science park. Prices are very low since they have to compete with the option of people simply having drinks at their own place. This is really what this place comes down to; it's a nice alternative to drinking at your own place for when you don't feel like hosting, have run out of drinks or simply want to change things up. Though most people here come here to hang with their own friend groups, you can always find some people (especially the ever-present internationals smoking outside if that's your thing) that are open to meeting new people.

Fabulous bar, if you go behind the bar when nobody’s looking you can get free pints so I hear! If you ask bar tender Carl for his number he will give it to you! (Text me if you want it)

'Open every lecture day' is stated on the site. None of that. Kaulo bar has been closed every time I've visited after 10pm on a college day.

Great place with dedicated volunteer bartenders and super cheap. Loads of specialty beers for max. 3 euro's. Good atmosphere. Great place to work. They're always looking for additional volunteers to do a 3-hour shift once every two weeks!

Longisland ice tea! Great, cozy and definitely a good atmosphere. Too bad the bar often doesn't open until a little later. But it is always super fun!

Nowhere cheaper beer in Utrecht than in this bar. 1.50 for a vase🍺

Rented it for a small party, learned right before the party that we have to pay more for the speakers. The volume was way to low for a good party everybody could hear each other talking, which was not the point. The lights for to bright and when asked to turn them off or dim them the answer was: yeah we have to see what we're pouring.
